Sion shrugged, "Might as well work and get things done... Remember that little talk we had about me not being lazy or spoiled?" he offered, glancing to her with a slight smile.

His smile faltered for a moment and he paused his work, turning on the balls of his feet to look at her. "Yes....?"

Myrie laughed quietly as she sat there in perfect contentment. "Yes I do happen to remember, but that doesn't mean I want to." she teased gently.

"Umm... is this flower from you?" she asked with a small blush as she nodded to the flower she was gently cradling in her hands.

Sion paused a moment, then just nodded his head lightly, watching her. "Yes... It is from me." He hesitated, "As was the one that's in your room right now. I know it probably was a sad attempt but...." he shrugged a bit, looking away and pulling at a random weed.

Myrie gave him a smile as she looked back down at the flower, feeling extremely happy. Both of them were from him. The gesture was so sweet and adorable, and so unlike Sion.

"Thank you very much. It wasn't really that sad of an attempt. I love them. You know... lillies are my favourite flowers." she admitted.

"Are they?" he asked, seeming genuinely surprised. "I didn't know that," he said, brushing off some dirt off his arm. "I guess I chose well then... which is a first. I'm not usually that accurate." Not that he'd ever bought a flower for a girl before in his life. "...I'm glad you like them though. I wanted you to realize that I was being sincere.... not just doing it because your sister stomped on my foot." He left out the part about what she'd called him... that was best left unsaid.

Myrie watched Sion through her eyelashes, feeling all warm inside from his sweet, genuine gesture. She quickly stomped down any other feelings, however. He had already made that part clear, it's why he was apologzing after all.

She felt her jaw drop before she giggled. "Aur stomped on your foot?" she asked as she giggled again.

Sion slightly narrowed his eyes at her, "Yes, she did stomp on my foot. Not lightly either.... and I'm glad you think it was funny..." He looked down at his foot. "I only use the bottoms anyways." His quiet tone was slowly changing back his normal one, the longer they spoke. "You know, for an eleven year old, she's painfully intelligent. You should probably keep an eye on her."

Myrie tried not to laugh again as she covered her mouth with her hand, pink eyes sparkling as she looked at him. "Well, I am sorry for your... misfortune of having my baby sister stomp on the top of your foot. Thank goodness it was not the part you use." she told him, sounding awefully amused, sounding more and more like herself.

"And that I do know. You won't believe some of the things she says to me. She's extremely obvservant for her age. Kind of freaks me out sometimes, but I wouldn't trade her for another sister."

"I would," Sion mumbled, then coughed and looked back over to her. "I'm sure you wouldn't. Though you know, you could probably get a decent price for her...." He looked over at the house, narrowing his eyes a bit again. "Not that I would ever think of such a thing, of course."

He looked back to Myrie, noticing the old sparkle in her eyes. There was his sunshine.... He stared at her for a second, did I just seriously think that? he thought to himself, shaking his head to get the thought out of there. Get a GRIP, Sion!

Myrie laughed as she thought about it. "Crazy, freakish intelligent 11 yr. old? The circus just might take her..." she mused thoughtfully before grinning at him. She noticed the highlights in his red hair when the sunlight hit it just right, but tried not to think about how warm it would be if she ran her hands through it. Wasn't interested. He made that very clear.
