Sion looked over at her and frowned, but he nodded. "...I understand. But if you ever need to talk...." He left it open for her. Reaching out, he laid his hand gently on her arm for a moment, before letting it go and looking back forward. "So... plans for the rest of the day?' he asked again. He hated to think of her being scarred because of someone else... damn it just made him want to punch Asher. Repeatedly. |

Myrie smiled greatfully at him before coming back into step. "I don't know... relaxing sounds really nice around now." she admitted to him as she absently rubbed one of her scars on the back of her neck now that she had talked about it, she could feel all of the scars burning. |

Sion nodded, just walking back down the street. "I'm sure it does," he answered, struggling to not be upset for no reason. He really...wasn't sure what else to say. He still wasn't any good at making conversation unless he had something he actually wanted to talk about. And what he was curious about, Myrie had no desire to talk about. He respected her enough not to press her. |

Myrie just felt her shoulder throbbing so she stopped for a second. "Sion...?" she asked him, biting her lip. |

Sion kept walking for a few steps, mind a little distracted before he noticed she had stopped AND said his name. He stopped as well, looking over his shoulder. "Yes? Is something wrong?" he asked, furrowing his brows a bit. |

"Can you... can you check my shoulder for me? It just really hurts." she admitted, not knowing that it was from the scarring. Her hair was covering most of it, and the dress had a halter like back, so it wasn't in the way at all. Turning around, she raised her hair out of the way to show several ugly red lines of scarring. They were jagged and each was a different thickness and length. While she was holding her hair up, you could also see the scarring along her neck as well. "There isn't a stinging bug or anything back there? Mosquito's?" she asked him. ((...I didn't know it was this bad!)) |

Sion VERY nearly dropped the basket when his crimson eyes fell on the scars that lined Myrie's back and neck. His mouth fell slightly ajar and he walked back to her, slowly, leaving the basket where he'd been standing moments before. "Myrie..." he breathed, reaching out once he was close to her. "What the hell....?" he reached out with his hands, resting his fingers ever so gently running the length of a vicious looking one in particular. His voice was hardly audible, since he was in a state of shock and inevitable fury; unless these were birthmarks, he was bound to become infuriated at whoever had done this to her. And there was this little inkling that they WEREN'T birthmarks. |

Myrie was confused at first, having problems hearing him as she felt his fingers brush against one of the burning spots on her back. The pattern he traced... it made her think of what he was seeing. "Oh yea... that's... that's one of the scars I was talking about. The physical ones." she swallowed as her mind went back to that night. It had been so dark... and all her mind kept playing were small flashes of the actually memory, not the whole thing. Her running, Asher on top of her. She could remember the earthy soil in her fingertips from trying to claw away. Shivering slightly, she took a deep calming breath. |

Sion stepped closer, now hardly a few inches from her as he pressed his hand gently against her scars. "Scars... Myrie... what... what the hell happened...?" He could barely keep his voice solid and even...he knew damn well where they came from. Now he wanted, more than ever, to make Asher pay. He felt her shiver and placed his second hand on her shoulder, relaxing her. His other hand still soothed her aching scars, his crimson eyes seeming to burn a fiery red at this point. |

Myrie bit her lip, trying to remember just what EXACTLY happened. The details always escaped her. "I'm... not quite sure." she admitted sadly. "I think my brain blocked out the very worst of it but there was... a drinking glass or two involved I think?" she sounded very confused and her voice came out so quietly you had to strain to hear it. "It's really blurry, but the next day I had a broken leg, a major concussion, and those scars." |
