Keira smiled a little, following Braden but closed the gap between them as they got to the second floor. She really didn't like this place the longer she stayed. She felt her heart speed up a little, her nerves fraying a bit. "So do you think we'll help?"

Linnea pushed away from him, eyes wide with fear. She managed to crawl away, not letting her hands touch anything. She uttered something quietly, pleadingly, her eyes not actually looking at him....but rather...past him. Through him even... she didn't even know he was there.

"So much...pain here..." she put her ungloved hand on her forehead, pushing her fingers into her temple. A few tears slid from her eyes, causing the little bit of eyeliner she'd put on to run.

"Probably not. Greg has it under control now." Braden told her, kissing the top of her head comfortingly. "Come on, just grab some pillows and blankets and we're safe." he told her quietly as he moved to grab the pillow and blanket off of his bed.

"Linnea." Greg murmured, following after her. Pulling her into his arms, he used the pad of his thumb to clear away the eyeliner that ran down her cheeks. "Come on Linnea, you are no longer connected to the Castle. Come back to the present. We need you."

Linnea fell quiet for a moment, just barely feeling Greg's thumb on her face. "....Gregory...? What...." She looked around, still hearing the echoes of the past in her head; it was throbbing, worse than usual. Her voice was hardly a whisper. "Where ....are we?"

Greg sighed in relief as Linnea came to, removing his hand from her face as he helped her sit up. "In a room on the second floor. I do not know what happened before, but I found you, ungloved hand to the floor. Are you alright?" he asked, actually sounding concerned.

She nodded, vaguely remembering coming up here to speak with Mischa. How had she even... gotten in here? "No...but I'll be...okay in a moment. It just...hurts so ridiculously much..." She leaned her back against a small loveseat that was behind her. "I...thought you said you weren't going to come after me anymore..." She said, glancing up to him with the weakest of smiles.

Greg nodded, scooting so he sat next to her against the loveseat. At her words, he frowned slightly. "I guess my chivarlous side will not die no matter how many times I bash it down." he muttered before turning to glare at her. "And may I say I told you so?! This is exactly why we decided to stay downstairs in a groupe, Linnea!"

Keira gave him a small smile and a nod, her fingers brushing the fabric of her pillow and she reeled her hand back with lightning speed. Her breath caught in her throat as a young girl...or something once human...sat up on her bed. "Who are you?!" she whimpered in Spanish. The girl tilted her head to the side, eyes blank and flat.

"Keira?" Braden asked, looking over as he heard her whimper. "Keria, lass... are you alright?" he asked, moving towards her direction.

Linnea frowned, wincing at his heightened voice. Anything over a whisper sounded like a thousand people roaring in her ear. "Stop yelling, Gregory," she whispered quietly. "Don't lecture me....how was I supposed to know that even when I go to visit our patron, I'd be thrown into a hellhole and forced to relive the past?" her voice was slightly upset, but it was hard to tell when so quiet.

"Thank you for helping me... now... I think I should go to my room and lie down." She pushed to her feet, staggering a bit and started to walk away, her free hand in her pocket, and the other, gloved one on her head.
