Greg nodded, understanding. Unlike her though, he wished he could actually just go home, and STAY home. He didn't even know where they were going next. Ireland he thought, because they had to meet this old druid that could help them. "I am glad you like it." he admitted with a small smile as he bit into his own. "I think we should get together tonight, and not get seperated." he told her, thinking about what happened last night. It would be easier if they all stayed in one big group.

"Get together?" she asked, tilting her head a bit. "What do you mean...?" She continued eating as she waited for his answer. Her mind drifted off to Kristof and she wondered how he was doing; it sucked when your mobile couldn't get any bars. She didn't even realize that a frown was spreading across her lips as she ate.

"All of us should stick together, because I do not want what happened last night to happen to us again. That is... if you are even listening?" he asked, noticing the frown upon her face. "Are you alright?"

"Hm? Of course I'm listening. Staying together sounds like a good idea. Maybe we should consider a group sleep over down in the living room. We could move the couches and it would be plenty large enough for all of us... Not to mention warm and safe," she glanced up, blue eyes a bit distracted. "I'm fine though. I was just thinking of my brother. I wish I could call home. I promised him I would, but this Castle doesn't even have a landline."

Keira, unaware of what Greg or the others had been through, glanced to Braden, before looking back to the other pair. "This house is beyond freaky..." she admitted, "Mirrors breaking, fires going out and igniting on its own, doors slamming, people screaming..." she shook her head and took another long sip of water.

((Did they talk about her brother? I don't remember Apple...))

Greg nodded, thinking that it was probably for the best. "We can tell the others as soon as we finish." he spoke up as he ate some of his food. "So... you do not know how your brother is doing? How was he when you left?"

***

Lena's eyes widened as she looked back at Braden, and then Keira. "So Greg and I are not the only ones?! Just yesterday evening they trapped Xade and I in a dark room! It was frightening!"

((Nope. Don't think they did.))

Linnea continued to eat and nodded along with Greg. "Um... he was doing okay. He was in the hospital and had just been admitted when I left. He didn't want to go, but he had to.... he was getting too bad." She frowned a little more, then offered up a smile. "But I'm sure you do not want to hear about that. So... where did you learn to cook?"

~~

Xade just listened as they talked, frowning a little. He glanced to Lena as she said "they". Like there was someone else here with them. It was sort of ridiculous... but he couldn't convince himself it wasn't real. Things WERE pretty weird around here.

"But.. we got out," he insisted with a nod. "And we've been perfectly fine today. Not a thing outta place."

"No... what happened to him? I really want to know." Greg told her, sounding genuinely curious about her brother. He shrugged, as he ate some more. "My grandmother. She believed that everybody had to know how to cook, so she taught us all. Tough old brood."

***

"Fine for now." Lena corrected him gently, as she leaned her head on his shoulder for comfort. She didn't want to run across anything again. She shivered as she looked over at Braden. "Why didn't you see anything?" she aske as he shrugged.

"Demon." he told her cryptically, because Xade was in the room. "She nodded, getting his message."

"Us all...? Do you have any siblings, Gregory?" she asked, setting her fork down to pause. She'd eaten half of her meal already and was getting full. She glanced down at the table and her voice quieted significantly, "My brother was diagnosed with leukemia just a few months few before he received the invite here. He was going to come anyways, but... the sickness took a downturn and he had to be hospitalized."

~~

Xade glanced between them, that odd feeling of being out of the loop coming back. Part of him was irritated because he knew they were all hiding something. Were they ALL like Lena? A bunch of witches and warlocks running around like Harry Potter?

He frowned a bit as he felt Lena's head on his shoulder. He looked away, pulling at a stray string on his sweater.

"Siblings, no. Cousins? Yes, very many of them." Greg admitted, as he listened. "I... I am very sorry Linnea. Is there anything anybody can do?" he asked her, hand reaching over and covering one of hers in a comforting gesture.

***

Lena wanted to frown as Xade looked away, and started to pull on a string of his sweater. "Hey... I'll be right back, everyone. I forgot something in my room." she told them before getting up and heading towards her room.
