"She might not... I could be asking a question about your past without you there or something. The magic would REALLY have to be done carefully and precise. From what I remember, Fey are good at detecting other magic?" Rafe looked to Tory on that one.

"It's a big might, but... what else do we have at the moment?" he asked her, knowing it was her decision in the end.

"Its a really big risk....we mess this up....we're overly screwed." she said, before finally relenting and nodding, "Fine. I guess we have no other choice...." she sighed, running a hand through her hair, obviously not looking too confident in the plan.

Rafael nodded as he looked to Lira. "Whatever you do, do NOT even think about Tory being a bird. In fact... now would be a good time that you made sure that everything was ready for tonight. Go... sit in a corner. If you suddenly just started mingling it would look suspicious." he told Lira as she nodded with a grin.

"Good luck!" she said as he turned back to Tory.

"How are we going to do this? And where will we have enough privacy so nobody walks in on us?" he asked her, wanting to make sure they did everything carefully. One wrong move...

Tory half waved at Lira before looking at Rafe, hesitant to speak, “I...I know one place. One place they won't follow us but...” she shook her head, “its too tricky, and risky on your part.” She thought it over, “No way. There has to be another place.....”

"One place? Too risky, baby what are you talking about?" Rafe asked her as he tucked some of her hair behind her ear. "And it can't be that bad, besides, this is the only thing we have at the moment. We need to get out of here, Tor." he told her gently.

Tory sighed, "I....fine." she relented, taking his hand in hers and leading him out into the hall. "Just follow my lead...gotta give them some reason for our disappearance." she added before coyly untying the bottom of her corseted dress and letting go of his hand. She was very unlike herself, giggling as she let go of his hand and took off down the hall, past two Fey guards. Unknown to them, she snatched a key off the taller's belt as she brushed past.

Rafael followed her as he just looked confused. His eyes lit up, however, as she untied the bottom of her dress. Damn... if they weren't stuck in this forest. Grinning, he loosed up his shirt, unbuttoning the top as he took after her, catching up easily and wrapping his arms around her waist as he spun her around. He was only going with her plan in his defense.

Tory let out a squeal and a laugh as he caught her, squirming out of his arms as she discreetly slipped the key in her cleavage and sent him a wicked grin over her shoulder, letting the shoulder of her dress fall down before taking off again, quickly hustling down the main staircase. She darted down the hall, eyes scanning over the doorways. Bloody hell....where is it!?

One of the Fey guards, suspicious, approached the Queen on the subject, bowing respectively. "My queen...Miss Cromwell and Mr. Castillo have run out of the festivities in quite a risque manner. Do you wish someone follow them?"

Rafael grinned as he followed her, wondering what the hell she was looking for, but he did notice her stick a key into her cleavage. When did she get that?

The Queen looked up as the guard approached her, and tapped a pale, tapered finger against her chin as she pondered the question. "Rique? Do not worry about it fair soldier. It is merely Miss Cromwell's heritage she is following. I think thou shall have a maid set up a permanent chamber near by. Just in case... however, send my son Ialyn to watch upon them with his eyes." she told him with a small knowing smile.

Finally, Tory found what she was looking for; the door to the back entrance to the castle. She checked behind her to make sure he was following her before dodging into the hedge maze, using the key she swiped to unlock the gate. Please let the roses not effect him.....by the powers, please!? she begged, heading deeper until into the maze before turning to face him, bracing herself. Don't give in...Don't give in....[/i she repeated, tuning out the soft, high giggling around her.

The soldier bowed, "As you wish, your majesty." he said before going off in search of Ialyn, finally finding him off to the side. He bowed to the prince, telling him quickly of his mother's request for him to watch the pair that had fled.
