Being a broke gamer (think "cheap ass gamer") I took a liking to Goozex the second I found it. I originally wanted to sell my old and unwanted games but they're worth virtually nothing at a place like GameStop or Ebay. Once I found Goozex, though, I decided to trade my games in for points. It's pretty simple and I've found it to be very safe.
Note: Only add games to your Request list if you are 100% sure you want to fork over the points for it. Goozex will eventually and AUTOMATICALLY find you a match and the user Offering the game will accept the trade, YOU HAVE NO SAY (unless through PM's you ask them to cancel.) You just sit idly by and wait for the game to arrive. XD Goozex - For USA, Canada, and Bermuda. Check out the FAQs for more information if you're interested. I've traded and received a couple games and so far there have been no problems. Remember, the games are Used, so not all of them will look brand new. (Goozex Europe) |

At first I was all "meh." But then I noticed something... Something magical. Dreamcast games! So tell me, about how many points do I get on average for each game I trade, and is it possible to just buy the points? And how much are the points? |

$5 = 100 points. You can buy them off the site and they're automatically added to your account. This is a good way to decide if a game is worth the points, you can look up its actual price online and compare. The points depend on the game. Super new releases can be 900 - 1000 points (if not more) and you can find some super old classics for a steal of 100 points (lowest). Really popular games that are old can still be worth a nice sum. Zelda Collectors Edition (GC) is 600 points. I got Mirror's Edge (PC) for 250, Web of Shadows for 400, and Oblivion (PC) for 100. The system can also effect the price. I notice PS3 games are more expensive than, say, PC. So, it varies. There appears to be only 11 Dreamcast titles that are over 200 points. The highest is 1000. So if you're looking to buy... you can have almost 200 games for $5-10 each. EDIT: Oh, but you'll also want to check "Trading Info" on the games you want to see if anyone is actually offering that game. Edited by Techno-Gamer, Oct 19 2009, 06:48 PM.

I noticed ![]() It's good to know that 100 points is about five bucks (according to the site, it's based on a "complex algorithm"). And apparently you can also trade movies. This is good. Because I have a lot of movies to get rid of. |
