[General Appearance]

Humans as a race, vary substantially in their physical traits. Being the point of origin for the word ‘humanoid’, they are a bipedal and possess a mind capable of higher thought processes such as self-awareness, rationality and sapience. As far as height goes, it varies among the different cultural groups dotted all over Enthesia, but the average generally lies between five and six feet. Weight generally sits between sixty and ninety kilograms.
Skin tone and hair colour change considerably depending on the geographical location of a cultural group – Stronferth is predominantly fair skinned. Both vary between a very light blond/fair colour, all the way to black. Eye colour is similar and is generally one of green, brown, grey or blue, though more exotic colours such as violet have been observed.

Finally, humans being the base against which other race's strength and speed is measured against, possess average scores in both.

[General Mentality]

It is a common misconception that all humans are self-serving, greedy and cruel. Yes it is true that the human is both one of the most populous, and ambitious creatures to walk Enthesia, but such ambition manifests itself in multiple ways. Kindness, arrogance, cruelty, logic none are beyond the average human mind which is particularly susceptible to psionic influence. Unlike elves and indeed other races, humans possess a relatively short lifespan, averaging at seventy two which leaves little time for the individual to contemplate philosophy. Instead, humans have learnt to pool their intelligence and achieve great progress and discovery from co-operation.

[Racial Strengths]

- As a racial group (and some individuals), very smart.
- Capable of high acts of valor and bravery
- Have evolved to be able to mimic another race effectively for a short period of time
- Average strength
- Average speed
- Organized and adaptable

[Racial Weaknesses]

- Comparatively frail
- Susceptible to illogical actions due to powerful, emotional stimulus
- Naturally xenophobic
- Mortality
- Average strength
- Average speed

[Social Status]

Humans themselves garner an average amount of respect from other races for being a jack of all trades, and yet not particularly useful for any one purpose. Why use a human for a smith when you could use a dwarf? Upper class humans however are in an entire league of their own - some of them controlling vast numbers of their fellow kinsmen. For this reason, they are respected politically and coupled with charisma that comes naturally to many humans are a force to be reckoned with.

Their own attitudes to others are undertoned by a subconscious fear of 'those that are not like us'. Primarily this translates into respect for humanoid races such as the elf and the dwarf, and almost no respect towards the Naga. A visiting Naga however would not necessarily feel any hostility as humans also have a habit of concealing their emotions with skill.

[Religion]

As of this moment in time, the state practices free religion, where the inhabitants are allowed to follow whichever deity they please - this however may change with power changing hands.

[Politics]

Before King Alexander I seizing power, the state was ran through a psuedo-constitutional monarchy. This would mean that the king had the right to intervene, change and pass laws as long as a one third minority supported his decision but rarely, if ever did so. The country was thus mostly ran by a council elected by the people. With the new king, this council has been disbanded and ministers of Alexander's choosing, elected to act as channels of communication to the people. These ministers would also advise Alexander on policy, but all final decisions, with no chance to appeal, are made by Alexander Ankyovich.
