TLG told me he protected you on the night he died. I tried to ignore that bit of post-death information, didn't tell anyone about it when the alliance chain was trying to figure out what was up with LIS, but then I came up with several evil plots you could have had. I decided to give scanning a shot on you since Boc was already being vetted by the LIS hit. I got my results back, was about to welcome you into the alliance chain, and then discovered that you were dead.

Ah Well i thought i acted town like through out the game. Plus TLG wouldnt die if he protected mafia would he? On Curtis: I just thought it to be mathematically impossible for him to be mafia YET AGAIN |

On the subject of NIGHT ACTIONS, I feel like it should go in the order of PM's/actions received! If the Mafia sends in their hit on a reviver an hour before he sends in who he wants to revive, then no one is revived, because he was killed first! If, however, he revives someone and THEN the kill is sent in, the action stands. This is really the only way that makes sense to me, and is fair to all sides. Sometimes the town will be screwed, sometimes the mafia will be screwed. And unless there are revivers in the game, it's completely irrelevant whether cops get scan results on nights they're killed, because they can't use the knowledge anyway. |

I don't think submission order is a great way of doing it. It encourages a speedy decision and favors the mafia, since they have more information and a better idea of what is going on and what they will do in the night phase before the day ends. |

I don't think there was anything wrong with the way you ran things other than re-assigning the power mikey. |

But then it just comes down to who has the better time-zone which i dont think is fair Im like 4-6 hours ahead of you, so when you are eating dinner im most likely going to sleep, thus if the night ends around dinner time in the US then there is like 16 hours before I could post my night skill (sometimes i have access to a computer at work but i dont count on it). So id either have to post it before i went to sleep (theres usually a few pages of discussion after i go to sleep) and not having the whole picture or just HOPE that no one kills me, which hasnt really worked out in past games...... |

I think the resigned power was fine considering it was a modkill and the town would not have stood a chance at all minus taking out LIS very early without it. |

Eh, true enough. I guess submission order works best when it comes to actions that would cancel another action, like the mafia killing TLG. Depending on how you write up the night actions, he dies either before or after reviving someone. I just don't see it as fair that ALL night actions count regardless of whether or not one would reverse another, depending on what order you put them in. If TLG had submitted his decision first, fine, Helios comes back. But if our action were submitted ahead of his, I don't think it makes sense for his action to count as well. |

Basically, he offered to revive Curtis everytime he died, effectively becoming a 5th mafia member and forgetting his alleigance to the town. Considering I had given LIS 2 unstoppable kills, it was obvious aspen doing this would pretty much finish the game before it began, so I killed him and shared his power out. Looking back, I should have give it to just one person only if I were to do it at all, or maybe I should have taken one of LIS's unstoppable kills away. I found this unofficial team forged with the mafia worse than the one in Bocs, because he actually had a team in this game, whereas he was on his own last time. Someone suggested I didnt have to kill aspen, and I could have probably just put a rule on reviving mafia members, but tbh he could have quite easily then decided not to use his action ever! Or just cbf the game. Or maybe he would have decided to play for the town. fheh.
All the mafia except Bsrj won. Completely randomly. I had already done this once already, and ended up with TLG as the don! But I had to restart the shuffle when I discovered I was getting less players than I had anticipated. On the action system, I think whilst mine is still unfair, its the least unfair out of the others. If I went by what order they were sent in, like people have mentioned, some people are better placed in terms of timezone. So this was the best method I could come up with. Oh, one thing I should definitely have been more clear on was how much I would be enforcing the rule on outside communication. I basically said "no outside communication at all," but there is some tolerance I have with it. The reason I was so serious about the rule was because of how half of the people who died in Helios's game openly discussed it with those still playing, and those still playing openly discussed it in the cbox. I felt anything like that should strictly stay in the thread, and dead people should stay out of things (like they did so very well during this game). But private PM's between eachother adds to the fun, and its alot different to talking out in the open where everyone can see what your saying. Im sure I mentioned this at least once but probably didnt make it clear enough. |
