The Godfather
|
Carver is an African American lieutenant in command of the Major Crimes Unit and formerly in command of the Baltimore Police Department's Western District Drug Enforcement Unit. He is a dedicated officer, but was at times wayward earlier in the series, and an unfailingly loyal partner to Thomas "Herc" Hauk. Initially, he enjoyed the adrenaline rush of physical policing and was not above cutting ethical corners to get ahead. However, over the course of the series, he matured and became an upstanding officer, sometimes drawing the ire of his Western District brethren. vs. Carcetti is an ambitious Baltimore politician who rises from a seat on the city council to the office of the Mayor of Baltimore, and to the office of the Governor of Maryland by the end of the series. |

Gotta go with Carver. I really appreciated his arc on the show and how much he matured throughout the course of the show. |

I didn't like Carver for a season or two stretch. I did like him towards the end again though. Carcetti just edges him out. |

o it is dat guy lol
|
It might has well have been WEEPY POLICEMAN#2 and i'd still find the Randy arc equally as compelling! I can't say SETH GILLIAM or CARVER really added anything very often, whereas i RLY like Aiden Gillen even in some (and in spite of) the shitty films he's taken. Carcetti being written so well was just a PLUS. |

Carver started out as a cunt but he grew on me like many others. Not the best but Carcetti never really did much for me. |
