New Abridged Team; Come one, come all!

I don't like to be touched by people who aren't American. Posts: -1,524 Group: Admins Member #5 Joined: Mar 4, 2009	I have decided that I want to make my own abridged series. For some examples of what I am talking about, look up Team Four Star's DBZ Abridged or LittleKuriboh's Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged. Ok, now that that is out of the way, here's what I need. A team. Whomever is interested, simply post here or let me know in some other fashion, and we'll see what we can get for you. After I have a definitive team (hopefully at least two other people) we can then decide on what series we want to parody, or "abridge." Anybody interested in filling any of these roles, let me know: Voice actors - You don't need to be skilled at all. Seriously. That's part of what makes it funny. You/ can be a voice actor and still fill out some other kind of role as well. Sound effects Guy (or Gal) - Usually in these things, we only use the original visual of the series in question and all audio gets wiped in the process of redubbing it, so we need somebody who can somehow fill in all those laser beam explosions and footsteps and flying sounds and breaking bones and (3 hours later after droning on like an old man) and bleeding noses and things of that nature. Music Person - Not necessarily a huge thing, and I can do most of it myself, but I would prefer if somebody else with actual skill, rather than my self-taught, only a few years of off and on work, could do it. Likely would tie in with the sound effects person. Visual Effects Guy - This is the least necessary position, really, but it would be awesome if somebody could design completely new visual effects for us. Like how TFS put Princess Snake in a box, or LittleKuriboh's minor edits involving throwing up random notepads and such onto the screen. So, yeah. I'll take just about anybody, really. Sure, we can work with that many, but it's a pain in the butt. I have devised a series of useless trials that will place you all in mortal danger. The survivors get to stay on. First trial is this: Just ask yourself, do I actually have a working microphone so that I can actually do this? If yes, you have survived. If no, you have just fallen into an active volcano.
