EU-FM Posts: 550 Group: Public Relations Member #7 Joined: Mar 4, 2009	It was a pleasant afternoon when Tobi stepped out of his front door. Drift was right behind him, following Tobi with a smug look on his face. It was time for them to leave on their very own adventure today! Tobi walked down the path towards the Pokémon Shrine in the center of town. It was customary to speak to the Elders before leaving to do anything, they always liked to give a personal goodbye to the townsfolk. The Village Elder Henry was standing, staring at the Shrine. His hands were clasped behind his back and he was rocking back and forth on the balls of his feet, just staring. He was muttering something under his breath, most likely a thankful prayer to the Pokémon Shrine, wishing Tobi luck on his journey. As Tobi approached Village Elder Henry, the old man looked up to Tobi and beamed at him. He opened his arms to hug Tobi.

Prince of the Universe Posts: 118 Group: RP Moderator Member #73 Joined: Jul 31, 2009	This was it, the start of his grand adventure that people would speak of for generation. Tobi was so charged with energy that one would almost be shocked if they touched him, despite the fact he had been up all night planning for this journey and had a measly 5 hours sleep. During his long planning session last night he had decided that one on an adventure such as himself must be ready for everything and try to see through what was just in front of him, he was going over this thought as old man Henry came into sight, Tobi was glad it was him there some of the other elders could get a little cranky at times. As he approached him the old man opened his arms for a hug at first Tobi didn’t think about it and continued up but then he remembered that he must be ready for anything and began to suspect that this may be a trap, the last person in the world he would suspect it was the perfect plan. As Tobi continued to approach to Henry he looked back to Drift and nodded and prepared to roll left should to old man seem insincere about this hug, his first test since the start of the journey if everything else followed suit he would be exhausted beyond belief after only a few days.

EU-FM Posts: 550 Group: Public Relations Member #7 Joined: Mar 4, 2009	The village Elder chuckled to himself and cocked his head to the right as he smiled a wide and toothy (if a little fake looking) grin and spoke to Tobi. "Silly boy, I'm not going to hurt you or attack you. I merely want to give you a hug farewell and a good luck for on your journey. Who knows when we'll see you again?" Henry could not help but chuckle to himself as he thought of how Tobi reacted to his outstretched arms. He always was a strange and unusual boy even when he was very young. The morning that was bright and sunny one second, now came tearing to the ground in sheets. The sun could no longer break through the clouds and the rain was coming in buckets. The fog from the mountains were beginning to roll in as well which made Tobi's first day on his journey just that little bit more difficult. However, he didn't have to leave right away; he could stay in the village until the weather wore of a little or he could train in the rain just outside of the village in the grass and small rocky mountain side on Route 211 or he could just go head first down Route 210 and start his journey even with the weather the way it was. The village Elder Henry was still waiting for his hug even though the rain had came down fast and hard and Drift had ran between Tobi's legs trying to shelter himself as best as he could from the rain. The rain reminded him too much of the cold, cold snow that Tobi saved him from. He automatically felt better being close to Tobi.

Tobi paused for a sec to give a little taught to exactly what he would do. "I'll do something, OK old man," Tobi finished with a lighthearted smile, before rushing up to embrace the old man. “I’ll miss you, you know. I’ll miss you all.”
