Ok guys, so I don't know if its the lack of sleep, or the numerous horror/slasher/serial killer movies I've been watching lately talking. But I think you can already see where I'm going with this, yeah?

We all know some of the basic slasher films killers, Jason, Michael Myers, Freddy Kruger, and theres a few less known ones that even I've found out from watching some recent flicks, hell I'm sure you guys could think up a few none of us have heard of yet. I haven't seen an rp like it, or really anyone mention one like it yet, so I figured, why not go where no one has before? Why not make ourselves a good ol slasher mash up rp? Now, I'm not talking about having every killer from every movie duke it out, no no no. What I'm suggesting is making an rp, where the rper's live through one killer's wanton path of destruction to anothers, or not.

When you think about it that way, it would actually be really easy to transition from one killer like Freddy Kruger for example, and than after that game is done move onto another like Jason, or Myers, or really any number of other killers. Have you ever watched a horror movie and thought, man that person is really a dumb bastard for going down those stairs, or, why would you go into that room?! When we see these movies, even I have to admit that I have NO idea what could possibly be going through someones mind at a time like that...well, why not find out through rping it? Could you really stay true to what you said while watching the movie, and not go down those stairs? Or into that room? When your actually INVOLVED in the situation as opposed to watching it from safety?

I know what your thinking, Nishi, how in the world do we keep things fair? Who is the killer's? Who will die? Who will live? who will be the badass social deadbeat who just so happens to have a shotgun in his black trench coat and can pull moves like neo? Heh, to answer all those questions and more, let me ask you this. Who are we to say? Thats right, who are we to say who should play killer, who will end up dying, or who will end up starting off with a very useful tool or weapon? I say, put your money where your mouth is and leave it to chance, why not have a good ol roll of the dice to determine who gets what role?

In fact, why not take it a step further. Why not go mafia style on it? And only give the results to the actual player? Of course thats just a suggestion, and it would of course be easy to tell who the killer is right from the first post... But if you were to roll, why not have for example. 1= The killer, 2 = The Ahab (the embodiment of everything 'good' in humanity, has some kind of prior connection to the killer and goes to no end to try and stop them.), 3 = The virgin girl (Yes, as it suggests. The prime target of the killer, and the one who just might walk away from the whole ordeal at the end of the game, if shes lucky...), 4 = The Loner (The broody member, possibly has a grudge against the other players and looks out for number one.), etc.

I'm open to suggestions on possible character rolls, however I think that by doing something where the character assumes the role on a fair and leveled pick of the litter not only could we have some rather interesting results, but people may end up playing a role that they never thought they would. And isn't that what rping is really about? Striving to better yourself not only in the ways that you know your good at, but taking the unexpected in stride and attempting to overcome things that maybe your not so good at? Also, if we go with the mafia style of running things, we could even set up a little something similar to mafia where no one knows WHO the killer really is...that would make things pretty interesting for the killer now wouldn't it? Trying to murder everyone else while also trying not to be discovered?

And as always, should players manage to survive the 'round' with their character, why not give them the option to continue into the next round with their character, or to 'refresh' and get another roll for a new role, as it were. Hell with those kinds of odds, maybe you guys may even create a team of serial killer...well....killers. Of course, lets not forget the chance of a possible...'wild card', heh, someone who may have been waiting for a chance like this their whole live, or wants to back stab/betray a certain other player. Honestly the possibilities are endless, why not broaden the horizons of horror?

For the last little bit, I have been working on making FT better and also working on a second project. The WiReD is that second project. As for what The WiReD is, allow me to give the general plot outline:

The WiReD is the product of an international commission formed to deal with the problem of hackers online without disrupting the highly useful Information Superhighway. The commission was getting nowhere, when one member suggesting that the commission was going about the whole deal the wrong way. Instead of stopping the hackers in their tracks, they should distract the hackers by giving them something they couldn't resist hacking. The result was The WiReD, a Virtual Reality video game that was made to be hacked. In The WiReD, a hacker could use whatever they wanted to, gathered from any source, and governed by the Nosis Chip. Gameplay possibilities were infinite and only limited by the skill and imagination of the players. The game was released into the world and took off like a wildfire, with users like Lucifer Deus, Pybe Novin, and Nodamious Rodge rocketing to the top and remaining there, taunting other players to try and defeat them.
Two years later, The WiReD is still the leading video game in the world, only now there is a problem. An small group of hackers has broken through the protection surrounding the Nosis Chip. Calling themselves The Guardians, they have been causing havoc among those players that complete against each other fairly. The Commission has taken notice and is working to stop the Guardians.


All this being said, I don't intend to begin running this RP until I get a couple more people in FT.

Ive been thinking alot lately about starting up my own RP and some ideas ive came up with are

1) A dark future game where Humans are slaves to Robots

2)Tam is godly, just wanted to tell you all that.

3)A game where Dragons are kicking about similar to d&d without crunchy goodness
