One of the largest countries in the world of Freign, it is highly urbanized and governed by several city-states, each having its own law system bound together by a single pact. While it was originally founded by humans, the culture of Ethandor is as diversified as there are shades of a sunset.

Not necessarily the largest mountain range in the world, but by far the most well known. The range stretches from main inland down to the ocean coast and even then continues along that path for a few hundred miles. With the various elevations factored in there the Khalis produce various climates and environments suited for nearly any living creature.

A wild country the source of much world-wide controversy, home to many of the "dark" races of Freign. Dark elves, orcs, and ogres populate the area in independent cities or villages. They get along with one another as well as they do with the rest of the world, which is to say not at all. Dugoth is made mostly of plains, light forests, and fringe mountains.

The homeland of gnomes, a small country of rolling hills. Gnomish culture is facing a threat of extinction, due to the large amount of illithid raiding. Even so, the sun always seems to rise a little brighter on these hills.

The largest, grandest, most beautiful forest in the world, and with good reason. Many of Freign's races and cultures originated from this forest, and many still reside to protect and respect it. Most elven cultures reside here, as well as a good number of wild dover and frey.

"The last great human independence," as anyone who believes in human dominance would tell you. This is fairly true, as the country of Arzith remains the only kingdom whose human culture has been minimally impacted by the other various races.

The Daitilla is the largest mountain range in all Freign, both in expansion and in elevation. Unlike the Kahlis range, the Daitilla tends to be barren, rocky, and inhospitable to most forms of life. That is not to say it has not been made home. To the contrary, most dwarven kingdoms have carved their mines within the veins of the Daitilla, and atop its high peaks are the city-nests of most aven in the world.

Not even the maddest dark elf or bloodlust driven ogre will travel lightly in the unholy, godforsaken lands of Cyclyn. Though there isn't much to see above ground, it is the dangers lurking below all fear, for Cyclyn is the home of the Illithid Imperium. The mind flayers have already enslaved hundreds of thousands, and nearly caused extinction to the gnomes as well.

All of the world's ocean, all its sea, bays, all the water of Freign, falls into a single name: the Turas. Its really no different than any other ocean or sea, complete with all the extravagances, and dangers one would expect.
