Blessed was tired after work that night. She got in her car and let out a heavy sigh. She put on her seatbelt and backed out of the parking lot. She was glad she didn't work again for two days. She began to think of things she needed to do at home that night after they ate dinner and was happy to realize there was little to do but laundry. She drove down her street toward her house with a smile on her face because it was the first time in her life that her home life had been calm since her father died. She could understand how her brother's choice love and marriage over hunting but she had the best of both worlds she believed. She turned into the drive and pushed the button on the garage opener relaxed and ready to see Mark. She couldn't wait to see him it was what helped her through her days. Mark was sitting on the couch with a beer in his hand when he heard the garage door open. He smiled knowing that his wife was finally home. He didn't know how her schedule went, but he hoped that maybe she'd be off tomorrow at least. He turned the TV off before going to meet her. He hoped to surprised her with the fact she had nothing to do. He had done the laundry and few other things earlier. He had also after several hours of searching and trying to find his sister found where she might be. He wanted to talk to Blessed and tell her everything that had happened before he went to find Nikki. He wanted to know he'd at least have his wife on his side, if Nikki decided to kick his ass for being gone so long and leaving the way he had. Mark couldn't wait to see his wife even if they had seen each other few hours earlier in the day. Having her home was wonderful, he couldn't wait to kiss her. |

Blessed got out of the car after grabbing her left overs from the seat, to walk around the car to the back door. She opened it to find Mark. She could only smile wider, he was such a welcome treat to her. Her heart did a little jump as she reached to kiss him. He had been such a savior in her life. She adored him to death she thought as she pulled him in close with her hands around his neck. His manly scent wafted up her nose as she took a deep breath of it which was the essence of him. She didn't want to let him go. All day long thoughts of Mark kept the smile reappearing on her face time after time. She had almost forgotten about the call from Chris about Dean Winchester coming to the hospital. Her rounds had been hectic and the other nurses were mean to her at times. Her being part time some how made it okay for her to do the grunt work as far as they were concerned but she knew it wasn't right so she would fight back in small ways. She wouldn't let them take away what she knew was a calling for her. All that was behind her for now all she wanted was to be close with her husband, the love of her life. |

Mark smiled as she kissed him. He could tell she was tired just by the way she looked at the moment. He grinned when she wrapped her arms around his neck. He used that opportunity to carry her inside. He picked her up carrying her inside using his foot to shut the door back. He loved Blessed more than he knew how to say. She had turned his life around. He sat her back on her feet as he entered the living room. "You look tired baby, good thing I took care of everything around here," He said he hadn't wanted her to have to do anything. He knew how tired she was when she got home from the hospital. He was glad she wanted to help besides being a hunter, but wished some days it was just them at home together. He hated seeing her like this. He smiled before taking her hand leading her to the couch. He wanted to hear about her day at work. "How was your day?" He asked with a smile. |

Blessed didn't want to let go of Mark as he kissed her. She knew it was crazy but she adored being in his arms. She was glad her optimism had paid off over the years. She had hunted alone and lived solitary for almost five years before she met Mark. He had been so different, of course saving her life had not hurt his chances with her at all. He had been so different and it had been time for her she supposed. She looked in his eyes before she sat down on the sofa. "Oh the night was the same as most. I did hear from Chris James, a doctor at the hospital, who knows Dean Winchester. Chris knows about the Supernatural, he says Dean will be coming in with some issues. I told him to let me know so I can help him out. I know for a fact Dean hates hospitals," she shook her head. She had no idea how such a macho guy could be so afraid but on the other hand, with Dean's life he probably had a good start early on for all his phobias. "Hi was your day?" she asked before she leaned next to his chest. |

Mark was really glad that Blessed was home, he loved having her home. He just hoped that things would be okay after the not so good day he'd had. He'd been trying to find his sister and the only lead he'd had had not gone through. He couldn't get a hold of the contact. "Dean Winchester," Mark said little stunned. The last he had heard Dean had been dead, sent to hell for his brother's life. "Dean can't be alive," Mark said, "He died," he told her not sure what to say. He had not known that Dean was alive, but that was not possible, he'd been ripped apart by hell hounds. He had seen the grave for the fallen hunter. "Wait, what you mean issues?" Mark asked, it might be possible he thought. It could be possible, and if it was then that was the person that had last seen his sister that he knew. "If Dean's around then he might have seen my sister, he saw her last," Mark told her sitting down. He hoped that everything was okay if Dean was alive again. "Sorry about that," Mark said, "How about that dinner I promised you," he said pulling Blessed into his arms. He didn't want to think about it anymore. He just wanted to spend the night with his wife without interruptions from other things. |

Blessed listened to Mark as he spoke of Dean going to hell. She snuggled close to Mark's side almost like the hell issue was something that could effect them at that moment. She felt chills. It didn't seem like a real story that he told about Dean. She wasn't sure what to think and was quiet for long moments. Her and Dean had spent some time together in the past a brief night and a little hunting, it seemed to be Dean's MO. She couldn't imagine him dying for anyone but Sam, she shook her head. Sam had been all Dean talked about as far as family except his father who he had been avoiding when he was with her. "Um, that sounds so weird. I mean even in our hunting world," she said before she bit her lip as she decided if she needed to let Mark know her past with Dean. It wasn't much to tell so she decided to eliminate the intimate details, "Well according to Chris he is going to come in for medical help," she said with a sigh. Their lives were weird she thought none more than Dean Winchester's though. |

Mark wondered what could be wrong with Dean if he was seeking medical help. That was not like Dean he was scared of hospitals. Whatever was wrong with Dean, he was guessing it was really serious. He wanted to see Dean, if only to talk, or see if he'd seen his sister as well. "I guess something happened when he came back from hell," Mark said looking at Blessed. "I hope he is alright though, he's excellent hunter, taught me all I know, him and his dad." "Its just I have never known Dean to willing see a doctor unless, well he's in a car crash or has no other choice," Mark said looking at her. There was something about the way that Blessed seemed. It felt like something had changed. He defiantly did not have Nikki's ability to feel others emotions, or whatever it was that she did, he still didn't understand it completely, nevertheless something had changed. "Dean's great guy, but man did he have a wild side too, he'd get half the girls in the bar if he could, that was never my style," Mark said before he smiled down at Blessed. He would never want that kind of life. Mark pulled Blessed a little closer kissing her, hoping whatever he felt would disappear with the evenings events. Blessed leaned in closer she wanted to relax and not think of anyone but her and Mark. Maybe it was selfish but whatever was going on with Dean she figured her and Chris could handle it when the time came. They were both well trained and capable at their jobs and Chris had more experience than her so if he was asking for help she thought he might have an idea of what was going on already. "Yeah he has been through a lot we all have," she said with a sigh as the thought of her parents came to mind. "So you cooked now did you I can't wait to taste it. I bet it's great as usual. She leaned up to give Mark a quick kiss before she pulled him to his feet after she stood again. "Can we eat now? I am starved suddenly, " she said with a twinkle in her eyes. "I guess you're right, look what we've been through to get to this point in our lives," Mark told her kissing the top of her forehead. He wished that he their lives could be simpler without all the complications that was out there at the moment. Mark knew that with time that things would be okay maybe. Dean would be fine, he knew that with his wife's help Dean would be back to normal in no time. "Food sounds nice about now," Mark told her when she mentioned it. He had cooked on the grill making almost every thing there. The vegetables had been grilled as well and were crisp and tasted good. He had tasted them to make sure they had not been over cooked. He was not the type that loved to cook, but he loved to make Blessed happy. Mark had not wanted her to come home and have to cook or clean for that matter. "Not only did I get the food ready, but you don't have to do the laundry tonight either, I did that when I got home," he informed her before pulling her into a hug. He loved his wife and would do anything for her, he'd give his last breath for her no matter what. |
