Nikki showed up few minutes till twelve and looked around to see if she saw Camden, but he wasn't there yet. She went to the bar area and got herself a soda instead of a beer, today she really didn't want to drink any alcohol. She went to the back booth where she told Camden she would been in the place and sat down.

The waitress gave her a menu and smiled. "I'm going to wait on my friend, he should be along soon," Nikki took two the menu's though before sitting back and looking out the window watching for Camden to pull up. She was wearing her favorite jeans that was just worn in good enough for her to be comfortable in. They had holes in the knees and one of the pockets was torn all the way out. She was due for few new pair of jeans soon. All her's had holes in them from hunts she sipped on her Pepsi before picking at her shirt.

She was wearing her rock guitar shirt with the flames going around the guitar. She had brought her work out clothes and left them in her pick up truck. She loved her Chevy truck, it had been a gift from a friend after her family's death. Her dad had one just like it, but it had been totaled before he'd died.

Nikki hoped Camden would get there soon she leaned back and laid her head against the back the booth closing her eyes for a few minutes.

Camden had been unlucky enough to drive in the parking lot from the back way. Manny saw him and had him help unload a few items. By the time Camden was done he was sweating and he glared at Manny who only smiled, "Sorry, man, hey in the back room you left a shirt last time you can wear that to your date," he said as Camden hit him in the head. They both laughed as they went inside the building.

Camden had originally arrived early but with the work and the changing he ended up ten minutes late. He could see Nikki seating in the booth when he went out front to check for her. He could only shake his head as his friends laughed and teased him about his new girlfriend. The brunette waitress, Roz, didn't say anything because she had a big old crush on Camden.

He walked up to the table with a smile before he sat down, "Hey, I was here but they put me to work," he said before he waited for her to respond. He thought she looked cute in her rock guitar tee shirt.

Nikki smiled when Camden sat down. "That's cool, I was just resting my eyes, you look nice considering you just got done working," Nikki said as she gave him one the menu's. She hadn't ordered because she'd wanted to wait for him. Nikki flipped the menu open and when she saw that they had funnel cake she about came out her seat.

"They, have funnel cakes, yes," Nikki said, "Sorry, it's just they are my favorite deserts and I can't hardly find them anywhere," she explained as she moved her hair out her face. She hoped it didn't look too much of a mess even though she'd ran a brush through it earlier.

When the waitress came over she took their order. Nikki ordered herself two slices of the mexican style pizza they had with a funnel cake one the side. Once her order was written down she turned to the window to look out at the road while the waitress took Camden's. She had few things she wanted to talk to him about and ask him. However, those things could wait till they weren't in the Pizza place.

Camden was glad to see Nikki wasn't any worse for wear. She looked as though she was well rested despite the fact that she had to have bruises from last night. He hoped she hadn't had nightmares he had sweet dreams, he had to think about something besides his dreams before he embarrased himsef.
"So how was your night after I left you? I was certain you would have been more banged up then you look." he cleared his throat, "you look very nice," he said before he put his head down to look at the menu which he knew from heart. "Hey you want an appetizer, maybe cheese sticks or spinach dip? I'm buying so get what you want," he volunteered.

Nikki looked at him for a moment she had some really sexy dreams the night before and when he asked about her night she about blurted something out. However, she pushed that away an smiled at him instead of telling him what he'd done to her in her dreams.

"Well, my side is one big bruise, but I took some asprin this morning before my run, so I'm doing fine," Nikki said before thanking him on the offer to buy her lunch. "I don't like spinach so spiniach dip is out, but cheese sticks are good," she told him as she leaned back watching him. She couldn't help but look at him with a slight grin the dreams she'd had coming back to her. What she'd done to him she was sure would be illegal if she did it right now so she closed her eyes for slight second to push them completley out her mind.

"I did what I always do to releive my aches and pains, really hot bath, trust me it works, maybe try it sometime," Nikki said before she blushed catching what she'd said a little too late.

"Okay cheese sticks it is," he said as he raised his hand up and the Brunette waitress appeared almost out of thin air. He ordered without giving her more than a quick smile. She was Manny's niece she had been crushing on him since they were younger. The girl got an idea in her head and stuck to it. He had little interest in her other than being her friend. "Thanks, we will take that now and order the entrees at that time," he said.

Camden put his menu down and gave Nikki his full attention. "So I can tell you all the food is good especially the pizza," he said with a broad smile that lit up his face. He was having a good time it had been a while since he took a good break that didn't end up being a hunt where he was hurt or injured.

Nikki was having some fun for a change. Camden had taken her mind off of all the things that had been building up for months. If her brother was alive she wondered why he had run off, it was something that bothered her every day. Why had the demon possessed her to begin with it didn't end up with anything in the end. Nikki wound up in a hospital bed with a note that her brother had left her with little information.

Nikki shook the cobwebs from her mind and looked at Camden, he was looking good especially since he'd said he'd been working before he'd showed up. "You say you were working, but I can't tell it, I'm sure you'll get work out later though," she teased him as she looked into his eyes as she smiled at him. She really liked him, he hadn't tried to put her down or shove her to the side just because she was a hunter. He wanted to teach her some of what he knew, and that she knew would be nice. She wanted to better her skills, but she never had the time.

"I'm glad the food is good here, pizza's my favorite food besides deserts that is," Nikki let him know before she sipped on her Pepsi a little. "Some time today I want to talk shop, but I don't want to over lunch, less you do?" Nikki asked, "I thought we could just talk about ourselves if that is cool so we can get to know each other better," she said before she looked out the sunny window. She was just hoping she didn't seem lost and lonely, she wasn't lonely, but she felt so lost lately. She really needed something to bring her back to the real world. Her life had went spiraling out of control after her family died and then again when she'd been possessed.

Camden was glad Nikki was an all american girl that liked pizza not some stuck up woman who was watching her weight and would only eat salad. He wasn't found of people who bragged about loving light foods but when no one was looking they were at McDonalds eating Big Macs with greasy fries. He had to laugh at himself, just because he was a weight lifter and tried to live healthy without bragging about it he could be overly critical.

Some time today I want to talk shop, but I don't want to over lunch, less you do? I thought we could just talk about ourselves if that is cool so we can get to know each other better,"
Camden grinned after he ordered them a pizza with sausage, mushrooms, olives and bacon. "Well not sure if I want to talk what you call shop so much here maybe late when we have our session. How about you tell me more about you. What do you do when you aren't hunting?"

Nikki smiled at the thought of what she did when she wasn't hunting. "Well, I am usually tending bar, up in Salem, Mass. However, I decided to take a break got tired of the guys grabbing my ass all the time, after a while it just gets old," Nikki said remembering when she had knocked the smile of the face of the guy that had tried to grab her and shove her into the back room. She'd laid him down on the ground fast and hard right before she took off running out the door.

She looked at him and smiled at what he'd ordered on the pizza. It was all of her favorites, she hadn't had pizza that was that good in a long time, the night before's pizza had been great and she knew if that had been then this would be great too. Nikki moved her hands so they they were beside her on the booth.

"I also work on cars sometimes, I can change oil, transmission fluid, the small stuff mainly," Nikki told him, "I can't work on all vehicles, but I once helped take my brother's car apart and put it back together in less than a week, one of the best times I had with him," Nikki said the smile showing all the way to her eyes as she remembered the times that were good with her brother, Mark.

She leaned forward again she wanted to show him her tattoo, but knew it wasn't the right location for it. "I got few tats, maybe later on you can see them, I want another one too, but I'm waiting for that one," Nikki said taken out a piece of paper from her back pocket and showing him the drawing she'd made of the new tattoo she wanted.

The tattoo was of a Angel that had its' wings stretched out, she had even colored it. The Angel was crying tears as it held a dagger in one hand and the earth it it's other hand. It was a female Angel and she had a half broken halo on her head and she was dressed in goth. "How do you like it?" Nikki asked him letting him hold the paper, "I want it to go across my back or go on my shoulder blade," she explained so he would have a rough sketch of where she wanted it to be.

Camden loved Nikki's enthusiasm for life. The fact that she said she worked on cars and at a bar those to things were two great extras. It wasn't that he was an alcoholic but being born in the Midwest he did enjoy his beer. A woman who could work on her own car was also a wonderful thing, helplessness in a woman as not a welcome trait in his book. He smiled when Nikki passed over the picture of a tat she wanted next. The picture was intense and for a woman that hunted monsters it was ideal, "That looks like it will go perfect for you, not that I know so well but I like it. I have a couple also," he said without giving details.

He pulled up his shirt and showed her on his lower back where his protection tat resided. He had been in a bad situation when it hit him he needed something to help out with his job that would allow him to be more efficient. Not worrying about being possessed was an asset to a hunter.
