We do have a vent server; this topic will be updated if the IP for the server changes.
Server IP: 99.236.9.128 Port: 3784 (default) Default Channel: "main" (without quotes)
Instructions Some of you may be unfamiliar with Vent, so here's a guide for configuring it:
- First, download Vent from http://www.ventrilo.com/download.php. Download the client version specific to the OS you have (be sure to download the 64-bit version if you are running 64-bit Windows).
- Install Vent and run it.
- Next to the User Name list, there is a -> button. Click it just to set your user name using the New button. None of the details (Phonetic, Description, Work Dir) matter for a basic installation.
- Next to the Server list, there is another -> button. Click it, click New, and set the details using the server details above. There is no password, and you can name the server whatever you want (the name is for your reference, not the server name).
- You don't need any Bindings for a basic installation.
- Click Setup. If you want to talk without having to hold a key down (recommended), uncheck the Use Push To Talk Hotkey (PTT Mode) checkbox. You may want to play around with the Sensitivity here (I set mine to 10) to pick up your voice easier (note that you cannot test while in the Setup window). Now click OK.
- If the server is online, Connect to it! You are now on our Vent server!
Troubleshooting Having trouble connecting? Try these:
- First, check to see if the server is even up! Find me in-game (open a chat window with me and ask me), or you can check the status from http://www.ventrilo.com/status.php by typing in the IP (99.236.9.128) and port (3784).
- Is Vent added to your list of exceptions in Windows Firewall? If not, add it (unblocks it), or turn off Windows Firewall completely (not recommended).
- Do you have another firewall blocking connections? It could also be your antivirus software (Norton, McAfee, etc.), so try to add Vent to the exception list there or disable your protection.

It can be for anything; if you guys want me to put it up for any reason (Astral Tales, National Treasure, or just to chat), let me know.
