Hi, I'm looking to assemble a DDR3 based Xeon system. The problem seems to be my lack of knowledge in this area coupled with the bizarre numbering system of the Xeon CPU's which doesn't seem to make deciphering their quality level very easy. Also, the speed of the CPU is only one part of its performance picture with benchmarks seemingly having a lot more relevance in the real world. I'll be using it with Win7, Win10 and possibly OS X. 95% Win7 probably. Can anyone recommend a good buying guide in this area? Most computer experts never got into Xeon stuff associating it with boring business equipment. But I like the fact that they are designed more robustly and should be good for multi tasking. I want to be able to do many things at once and run 60 fps 1080? Please help. I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
