So Raglar Commands
Erzebet watched from the side of her vision as the Hiskarin moved towards her. She saw the rush of emotion in her companions as she stepped away from them. She moved seeming like nothing less than an entire night sky, a tangle of branches of luminescent crimson weaving their way throughout the diminutive form. She could see the poison flowing in the Hiskarin’s system… perhaps she had been drinking or maybe it was something harder Erzebet couldn’t say for sure. When she claimed she was in fact this “Claws,” Erzebet’s interest was piqued. But she quickly second guessed herself. She couldn’t be the only Hiskarin going by the moniker “Claws,” in a city as large as this… could she?

It was at that point that Raichek questioned the veracity of the Hiskarin’s claim. Good old Raichek. What he lacks in subtlety he makes up for in pure brutality and intimidation. Raichek having decided he was being deceived asked Erzebet to allow him to shed her blood. Perhaps this is claws and perhaps it is not. Having Raichek attack her would solve that quickly. Further, if I allowed them to fight that would certainly be the best way to decide who would be the better protector. But what if they both end up mortally wounded and I can’t save them and I am left with no one. I can’t accomplish my goals without help. It would be best to take her at her word, if she is unskilled she may die and our coin can be easily retrieved from the corpse. And besides coin is easy with my lovely disciple. As Erzebet sat back preparing to answer Raichek Feldis cut in. “On the flip side if she is this Claws and Raichek destroys her in the view of this entire bar imagine the fear he will command. You can’t miss this opportunity to let these unworthy heathens know what they are dealing with.” But Feldis, there are laws certainly I cannot be allowed to be taken into custody over something this pointless.

“My child, that is why your command must be but a mere whisper,” Erzebet sighed quietly and said loud enough for people to hear, Raichek, my stalwart defender can you test her skill so she may prove she is who she says she is without hurting her? She pawed up his arm slowly to stand by him and whispered as quietly as she could so that no one but them could hear. IF it turns out she is a liar. I want you to break her so she is forever deformed, but don’t kill her for even liars deserve some mercy.

Erzsebet took the water from the bar maid eyeing her blood and seeing the swill of diseases that flowed through her veins delivering sicknesses to all parts of her being. Momentarily she had second thoughts about drinking the water she had given her, but did so for appearances.

She was pleased with Raichek and his reckless and fervent desire to supply her needs. As he shouted at the barmaid she saw the collective pulses of most of the inn quicken, he was a truly terrifying companion. I have done well in saving this one. As he placed her hand on his side she squeezed him ever so subtly to let him know how much she needed him.

She heard first and then saw the relatively diminutive form of a couple Hiskr in the corner of the inn. Ezrebet was familiar with Hiskr having grown up in the mountains named for them. She felt a small tinge of jealousy at the command the female Hiskr exerted over the male. Feldis spoke inside her head, “this is the kind of respect you must command from more than your feral companion. Bringing my true kingdom will be the greatest trial of this age.” Erzebet snorted to herself… easy for him to say, he is a god. As the barmaid hurried away from Raichek’s roar, she whispered after her. When you start to feel unwell come find me, I am a healer. The barmaid turned back and looked at her confused before returning to her duties. Erzebet turned her attention mostly in the direction of Raichek and said, Raichek please find this Claws. Our purpose must be fulfilled.

Erzsébet clung to the orc’s prodigious side with as much frailty as she could project. She carefully clung to his armor and padding around his side to his front. Where she turned around and begin pawing at the air, making her way out into the Tavern’s main room apparently blindly seeking a table. In reality she was see everyone in bar just fine. Or rather seeing their very blood inside their vein’s pumping the life through their bodies. She stumbled forward trying to portray an air of the tiredness after a long journey. This ruse was helped by the fact that keeping up with the orc was tiring because of his long purposeful strides. Doing her best to seem like she could not see where she was going she made her way to the closest table with male patrons. Not being able to see the chair she ran into it at first and felt around it until she was certain she could sit in it without falling. She then collapsed into the chair, gasping and doing subtle coughing. She tried to will her stomach to growl to no avail.

Raicheck! She said as softy as she dared but loud enough so all could hear. Holding out an upturned hand towards the orc, not completely lined up with him but in his general direction. Save your strength. Such a long trip without food and drink has taxed us. We will need our strength there are so many in this city in severe pain. She spoke again softer this time after the din of the bar decreased to hear what she had to say. In the back of her mind Feldis spoke, “Randatria a city devoted to Randatis the Mighty, you speak true my child there are people in pain here. The pain of a lifetime of deception, but soon their suffering to their false idol shall end.”
