City Treasure Hunt?
Fyra stalked nonchalantly into the city behind Pheena, nodding politely at the few guards lounging about at their stations. She kept an eye on the half-elf, watching to save her from any trouble she might get into, and her other eye was out for danger and potential profit. The Hiskr figured Koro would take care of himself. Looking around the crowded street, it was easy to see where the market place was, or more of, notice that the market was...well...everywhere. Rich merchents, mixed with buyers, poor, middle-class, and rich, and a variety of thieves, although they blended with a large amount of skill.

"Vladimir..." Safyra muttered as she spotted a familiar face. A human, bear-like, with a guard-like build and a intimidating style, was a rogue that she had met the first time she was here. He was her information source, and in return, she stayed out of his way and never tried to compete against him in any way. Heading towards him and the stall of metalwork and leather he stood in front of, she causually cut a heavy purse from a wealthy noble, and sauntered over to Vince.

Pretending to be interested in the merchant's wares, she mumured, "So, Vladimir, how's life treating you?" She looked up at him through thick eyelashes, noting the fake mustache that was across his lip. The bulky man, looking like a merchant, hid a jump of surprise.

"Fyr? By the Gods, I thought you would be dead three seconds after entering the jungle!" He whispered, looking as though he were still eyeing the goods in front of him. He reached out, picking up a intricate piece of metalwork, an armband. Spirals centered around a single eye. "You want it?"

Fyra eyed him, cautiously taking the armband from him, and examining it before looking up at him with a look of annoyance. "What do you want?" She demanded.

"Two meddling and threatening nobles killed." he said, failing to hide a slight cringe.

"No. You know I don't do killing jobs. Hire someone else. " She pushed the bracelet back into his hands. "I'll see you around." The black feline turned and searched for Koro among the crowd, moving with the people and lifting coins from pouches as she went.

Finding Koro, she hid her now slightly bulging money pouch in her bag, under her cloak, and looked around to find Pheena. "Where is your shop, Koro?" Her eyes scanned the crowd for the amnesiace half-elf as she spoke.

Bloody Knuckles and Banged Heads
Fyra kept her senses alert as she trudged along at a quick pace behind Pheena and Koro. She was on constant lookout for that strange bird that she had seen before. 'Bad omens, crows. At least I think it was a crow. It looked like it had returned from death...' She made a face. Before too long, she could tell that the trees and underbrush were thinning out. They would be in the open soon. Her long tail started to lash at that thought, but she forced it to still.

Stepping out into the open, she blinked in the light, which was brighter than that in that in the forest. The black Hiskr stared down at the city, listening vaguely to Pheena's excited outburst.

This was it. Places like this were her livelihood, where she made her living. Her money, food, clothes...everything she had ever truly had, had come from cities. She had been to this one a while ago even, it had been her last stop before she had headed into the jungle. Originally she had planned to avoid the city, but it looked like she'd be going through it now. Maybe she could get a good meal for once. Unseasoned fish wasn't her favorite dish.

Her mouth watered at the thought of good food. Hot, savory stew, with fresh bread, hot from the oven. Or a steak, 'Stop it!' she berated herself. Thinking of food wasn't going to get it. But it wouldn't be too hard to get money to buy food. A smile tugged the corners of her lips, and her ears flipped forward. Yes, cities... Cities were her true home. No matter how much she had grown in the country, cities were home. They were her job.

"Let's do this." She grinned, her green eyes flashing. Anticipation made her crouch and shift weight from one foot to the other before following Pheena.

Bloody Knuckles and Banged Heads
Fyra kept pace with the others, but kept to the side, where she could easily duck off into the bushes if it was needed. She didn't want to get attacked, but she didn't want to hide. Shaking her head, the black cat, muttered under her breath, unintelligibly, something about birds and prey and chasing humans. She wouldn't be much help in a fight, and she knew it. Her style of fighting had to have the element of surprise.

"Pretty cat, silly cat, birds block where the gold is at." Safyra ground her molars together as the voice in her head came to the forefront of her mind once more. Stupid voices. Why must they plague her? 'I wonder if the bird coming near is what caused it. Or maybe it was being near people and an amnesiac.' She deliberated internally, deliberately distracting herself from what might happen.

"Good question Pheena! Does anyone know how far it is to the edge of the trees?" She made it sound nonchalant, like it didn't really matter. But being attacked by a giant black bird/crow thing from the sky wouldn't be a very pleasant what to go. She flinched slightly as a branch lowered and scraped her head as she passed, hissing quietly. 'Please let us be left alone!' She shuddered again.
