The restriction on posting others' dragons appears to be gone from the rules at DragCave. I can't find a thread on their forums announcing the rule change, but I've seen others posting that the restriction is removed and when I checked the Terms and Conditions, I couldn't find anything about restrictions on posting anything. I did find the rule that if you agree to the conditions without reading them, you may be pelted moldy cheese at any moment. LOL |

Yeah, it appears we can post our abandoned eggs now. Thank goodness, now I can breed with peace in my mind knowing that I can save my dragon's babies. |

Nae's out on an errand. Would you like to leave a message?

*nodnod* I haven't had that problem yet, (although one of my silver's bred eggs kinda freaked me out for a while... but he grew up just fine :3) but it makes me happy that if one of them IS in danger, I can help save them~ :3 |

I have a maybe dumb question, but how do you help your abandoned bred eggs, just in case it comes up? Do you just change the specific code, and post without the new owner's knowledge? |

I'm still undecided about this. Yes I have babies that have died that I bred, matter of fact I have 4 right now stitting on other peoples scrolls that don't even look like they even tried. That makes me sad! But if I help them hatch will they just think they did it all by themselves? That wouldn't be a good thing either. Such a delimna. So I guess I'm still on the fence on this. |

Yeah mate, thats exactly what you do. My personal preference is to let my babies go and not worry about them. I'd rather them die quickly than be un-named, unloved and unbred. I'm only losing 1 from every 4 I put out there so not doing too bad. |

It's almost impossible to find out who owns your abandoned bred eggs... so yes, you would be posting them without the new owner's knowledge. I'm also torn about whether it's a good idea or not. I think a lot of people just grab eggs on a whim and then forget about them altogether. So even if you save them, they will just be stuck on some scroll somewhere that has been forgotten about. (and yes, you take the 4 character code and insert it into the BBCode formula) |

=/ Personally, my take is that if they're rare (like golds, silvers, and alts), definitely save them. I'm sure that the person (once they figure out that those dragons are RARE if they don't already know) will be glad of it. So pretty much I'm just going to hawk my bred silver's eggs until my gold starts producing (and my vines/blacks produce more alts) |

i think it`s because of the new feature where the person that adapted the egg will have a feature (that`s the way i understand it, so if i`m mistaken please let me know) can ask for help. |

I see that I will never adopt another abandoned egg if it gives someone the right to post somewhere without my knowledge. |

Yes, there is supposed to be a new "feature" soon that will let the owner choose if they want to accept help or not. http://dragcaveforum.technoized.com/index.php?showtopic=23587 |
