CONGRATULATIONS In your hand you hold a letter - written on top-of-the-line parchment, with neat calligraphy that seemed to be written with a fountain pen of some sort. The paper is adorned with flourishes, as well as an emblem of roses, with the school name in gold, recessed lettering. 'OHTORI ACADEMY' It congratulates you on your acceptance - into one of the world's most elite schools. The school has a polished and refined appearance - and is top of the line in academics, athletics and the arts. It is here, where its students, starting from childhood to latter teenage years, from some of the richest and most influential families in the world, seem to congregate and fill their minds with the best that the world has to offer. When they graduate, they are almost immediately accepted into any job they wish - an Ohtori diploma is the golden ticket to the highest tiers and social circles. In some cases, an Ohtori diploma can mean more than a Bachelor's Degree from some universities. You are becoming excited to know that you will be in the company of socialites, heirs and heiresses, royals, children of diplomats and such. But the truth is, you really shouldn't be. Behind the beautiful rod-iron gates of the exclusive Ohtori Academy lies a deep, dark secret - Ohtori contains people with some of the most deep-set mental problems around. Sure, their money could get them into any rehab, but these kids need an education as well. These are tormented souls, people who merely wait in their purgatory for their chance at redemption. Ohtori doesn't merely decide where you'll go in life, it decides how you'll be received among society. Here, the problems go beyond simple destruction. They range from the deviantly sexual - incest, orgies and such - to harboring thoughts of murder. Ultimately, however, Ohtori is a place where you don't ever grow up, until your problems are solved and you are returned back to the real world. 6 students are the ones who pull the strings here at Ohtori. They are the members of the Student Council. They are the ones who dictate everything. They act as valiant princes, and in the middle is their princess - the one who keeps everything in check. They duel for her, but there is a reason why they do so. She is the key to something substantial. From their tailor made uniforms to their white rings with a rose crest, everyone knows who the student council members are. Ohtori goes deeper than all imagination. It is a hall of illusions and lies. Allow your mind to wander. Allow yourself to enjoy. But don't allow yourself to be deluded. |
