Welcome to a world so familiar, and yet so different. Myridia is a land pressed between two powerful empires. It is a land struggling to survive under the gaze of giants, but had persevered for decades. Its magically gifted population gives it a powerful edge, as well as its strategic geographical position. But tides often change… It is only a matter of time before one of the empires tries to take Myridia as just another prize in their war chest. It is only a matter of time before an empire brings blood and war to Myridia’s gates. This has caused tensions to stir uneasily amongst the proud people of Myridia. They begin to debate on their nation’s next move, with some calling out to submit to either of the greater territories. Yet the pride of independence rings strong in many of the citizens; whether it be for tradition, for belief, or for pure ignorance. But intrigue also churns within Myridia’s borders. With an active governance system in which political factions rule, the clashes within Myridia are often more fiery than those outside its borders. Everyone has a say, and political disagreement can often be dangerous, risky, and precarious. Factions fight for dominance, and the ever present guardianship of The Council looms silently. A land built upon the ambitions, heartache, and passion of its people, Myridia is a place where the smallest of tales can have the most powerful of consequences.
