His head ached. He could hardly lift his arms to rub the sleep from his eyes. They were heavy, as if he were trying to lift all of Saint Bard’s books with only his wrists. His head felt heavy, his arms heavy, everything was heavy and weighing down on him and he wanted nothing more than to go back to sleep. His head lolled on his shoulders. Rest. That’s all he wanted. But something was keeping him awake. He realized it was the dull thud of a foot that kicked him in the side, over and over again. He knew he should feel indignant about this, but he couldn’t remember why. He couldn’t even remember where he was. Where was he? Who was kicking him? ”He doesn’t look like much, but….I swear he’ll be….on your farm…Lord Burrough.” A jolt of fear helped him wake up. Along with awareness came pain, and he tried to move away from the person that was abusing him. A taste with a strange name, a name he could barely remember now… [/align] Plot Outline -A strange, new wine is going about, bringing odd effects to anyone who drinks it. -Mysteriously, young nobles, after a night of partying, have been vanishing as well. Nobody knows who he (or, doubtedly, she) is, and they'd probably prefer to keep it that way. ---> Lady _______ Burrough- The adopted daughter of Lord Burrough, the richest man in the country, save the government. She comes from questionable origins. She is quite the rebel, and manages to lose her bodyguards on a daily basis. (PM an admin for more information.) ---> ______ Grimm- The younger brother of Wilhelm Grime, and co-author of an illegal underground newspaper that gets the REAL news published, things the government tries to censor. His brother and him are very interested in the poisonings. He serves as an opposite to his brother. ---> The Sleuth- A university student who becomes interested in the kidnappings and makes increadible headway, much more than the government trackers have found out. But will he share his findings with the government, or the illegal newspaper? |
