Once a rich agricultural center, much of the Sundryn Plains lie fallow and forgotten after the War of Ancients. This region of rolling pastures and farms was once beautiful and green, but after years of conflict and neglect, crops can no longer be cultivated. It is as if the region has been cloaked in eternal autumn. Weeds and seedling trees in beautiful shades or oranges and red mark the land and the wind cries over the now barren lands. The only remaining activity is in the many mines that line the coast where abundant mineral and metal resources continue to be found. To the east, toward the coast lie the Menhir Hills, where a Syndicate outpost is situated. The Menhir Hills battlestation serves as an extension of the Syndicate’s power from the Sea onto the land. It is said that many of the strongest members of the Syndicate make this outpost their home. No one is precisely sure about what goes on inside the battlestation. It’s best to keep a distance. |
