Tirisaa is one of the Realm’s original city-states founded after the War of Ancients. The kingdom’s national colour is blue and it’s flag bears a gold anchor set against a blue background. It was built originally as a military fortress, but has grown into a trading port whose economy flourishes on fishing and tea trading. It’s inception as the Realm’s hub of trade and exchange occurred after the goblins excised Menhir from the traditional exchange routes. It is primarily a human settlement, although populations of elves and dwarves have grown with the expansion of the trade routes. It should be mentioned that the city is heavily cloaked in magic. Magic runs strong through the walls around the perimeter of the city and even out into the harbor, helping to repel unwelcome visitors and dangerous invaders

Tirisaa is located on the southern coast of the Realm overlooking the great expanse of the Teil’yn Sea. The city’s slender spires and graceful towers rise high above clean, cobblestone streets and into cloudless sky. The walled city has three points of entry, the North Gate, the West Gate and of course the harbor. The city itself is divided into quarters, with the southern portion being a courtyard that extends out onto the docks. Adventures entering the North Gate find themselves in the city’s gardens greeted by the sounds of chirping birds and the temple bells. The gardens are home to the Grand Conservatory, an architectural wonder made completely of glass that shines brightly in the sun. Many useful plant and animal species are grown and raised within the confines of the conservatory. Tirisaa’s main temple is situated opposite of the conservatory.

The eastern quarter of the city houses the heavily armored Stormfyre Citadel. It is here where Baron Asrienus and the Tirisaan Guard maintain the kingdom and it’s associated lands. The Citadel is also home to the city’s guildhalls, infirmary, courtrooms and archives. Although quaint, Tirisaa is not without pickpockets and beggers. The Tirisaan Guard is quick to send murderers, thieves and petty criminals to the prisons, also found within this quarter. The prison also has a special ward for more dangerous entities that cannot be contained by simple iron bars.

The western quarter (or residential quarter as it is more commonly known) is a winding maze of narrow streets lined by houses and apartments. Children are often seen playing among the cobbles.

Finally, the southern quarter (or Trade Square as it is often called) is the Tirisaa’s main trading center, home to the city’s shops, auction houses and banks that flank the courtyard and its magnificent obelisk. The courtyard transitions into the harbor front at its southernmost point. Tirisaa’s seaside promenade is home to the famous tavern and inn, The Crimson Queen favoured by local residents, seafarers and merchants alike. The sound of waves hitting the heavy wooden beams of the docks nestled in Tirisaan Bay. Brightly coloured merchant and navy vessels can be seen sailing out into Teil’yn Sea, chasing the horizon.
