Whip thin, with a body that is more corded fast twitch muscle than bulk, Demetri has a swimmer's build. His face is angular, and rather thin, with dark black hair that is cut shaggy, usually hiding one of his eyes. His skin is not an unhealthy pallor, however he does have a natural paleness that time in the sun does not seem to darken. He is the studious sort, more focused on delving deeper into the forbidden secrets of the Dark Side then martial prowess, though he has become quite proficient in the art of Makashi, therefore while he is in good enough shape, he is extremely thin, as opposed to a muscled bulk. With ash black hair, and crimson eyes, and a full mouth; he is striking to say the least.

Rather than simply wear Sith Robes, Demetri has taken his station as the Inquisitor of the Sith rather seriously, outfitting himself with robed armor that appears part ceremonial and part function in mind. With ornate armored shoulders, chest, forearms, and waist; his Inquisitor’s armor is certainly unique. Most importantly, albeit dangerously, the gauntlet coverings that house concealed shatterguns are forged of pure weaponized Cortosis, making them downright deadly when in use against a lightsaber wielding opponent. Wearing a sealed black body glove beneath the armor, Demetri is fully covered from feet to throat, and also has a matching helmet and self contained breathing unit that can be optionally worn along with the armor. The design of this helmet is based heavily upon the Sith Trooper armor seen in the Jedi Civil War.

Possessions:
Vertigo Curve Hilt Dueling Lightsaber- Crimson dual phase blade
Gauntlet Mounted Concealed Verpine Shatter Guns
Datapad/Recorder
Visual wrist comlink
MSW-9 molecular stiletto
Security Spikes

Ship: Adder - Sith Infiltrator

Personality:
Demetri has a powerful natural talent for the ways of the force, and would no doubt have made a very talented Jedi had the conditions been right. However, he had the misfortune of being raised within the Mecetti family, and thus seemed almost destined to be ensnared by the Mecrosa Order, where he would be immersed in the Darkside. Because of this, he has become a bitter and cold person, methodical and calculating, willing to pit opponents against one another by use of manipulation and outright mind games.

To augment this natural streak of cruelty, he focuses on the more painful aspects of life, and is willing to inflict unimagined suffering on those around him to further his own goals. A plotter by nature, he remains shrewd and calculating at all times, evaluating those around him based largely on what they can do for him. He maintains a natural arrogance, and carries himself with a noble bearing, after all he is Sith, and naturally he is superior of course.

Through his own streak of arrogant cruelty he has cultivated a vast knowledge of the art form of causing physical, mental, and emotional pain. This skill in the art of torture, has led to his nickname among the younger Sith. Lord Wanhope; The Phantom Sorrow. Though, barbarous love of pain and suffering aside, he is refined, and elegant, despite the measure of his cruelty, regarding himself as a more Machiavellian master of deception, rather than some of his more… simple Sith brethren.

Having risen through the ranks of the Sith as the final apprentice of the famed yet eccentric Darth Viscerus, Demetri has cultivated an interest in the scale of politics, using the art of political machinations to his will in dealing with the often volatile mannerisms of his fellow Sith Lords . As such he is not an enemy to be taken lightly; as he is quite adept at bending others to his will in the most subtle of ways. Like his brethren he is ready and willing to snap up the throne of the Dark Lord; however he is currently biding his time so that hopefully a rival or two might do him the favor of killing or maiming each other in the eternal struggle for the throne.

History:
Demetri was born into the very lap of luxury as the only son of a prominent trade official on the planet Tallaan. As a child he had everything he could have ever dreamed; and perhaps that is the reason for his own descent into darkness. Born with a powerful connection to the force, young Demetri drew the eyes of the most powerful of the Tapani noble houses, the feared House Mecetti. It began as a boon to the boy's father, recognition for his hard work, and a few bribes here and there to make sure he was elected into the Trade Commission. In return they only asked that they be able to use the boy, citing that they were interested in the education and development of such a 'special' young man. Blindly, his father agreed, and Demetri found himself an inductee in the mysterious Mecrosa Order, a Tapani Sect of Force Users based heavily upon the teachings of the Sith. It was here that Demetri first brushed the Dark Side, where he became hopelessly ensnared in his own dark fall.

Demetri does not remember much else of his childhood save his time among the Mecrosa, and in truth that makes it that much harder to care, as he was impressionable enough to be ready for his assigned task. Even at the time there was little besides thoughts of the difficult training ahead. Young Demetri was pulled from his family and life; his destiny twisted as he was taken to Nyssa where he would begin the long and difficult path that would lead him to one day become a Sith. He is told that it was his natural force sensitivity, and the strength of that bond that ran through his veins that called the Mecrosa. However, there was no time for agonized reflection, instead his days had become an endless string of training, honing body, mind, and soul so that he might become powerful, leaving behind the weakness that infested his family forever.

The years passed slowly, and Demetri grew stronger. He threw himself into his training, gaining the attention of his masters as he absorbed their teachings at a breakneck pace. His impressive dedication astounds these masters, few children exhibit such willingness to utterly dominate every aspect of the force. His task masters were pleased, such a cruel disposition and willingness to manipulate those around him to feed his power and agenda made him perfect for their plans. However, first he had to survive his training.

As his power grew, so too did his desire for utter control of self and the force, immersing himself in its fabrics, and commanding it to reveal the hidden truth. And with the reverent desire of a fanatic, thirsting for more knowledge and more power, his training began to increase in difficulty. However Demetri continued to push forward, straining his being on mastering every challenge thrown his way.

His cruelty knew no bounds, and already he began to prepare his way to taking greater power. He turned his cold hatred on the very masters who labored to teach him, examining their every move so that he might discover the deepest flaws, and only then would he know that the time as right to strike. Even now, still laboring as an apprentice, he imagines the day that his master will be of no more use, daydreaming of the moment when he will cruelly slay him where he stands, perhaps cutting him down in mid lecture and claiming the title of Master for himself with one brutal swing of a saber. The very daydream was enough to bring a smile to his sharp features.

However, his time of training had reached its end, and it was time for him to fulfill the task that had leaded the Mecetti to seek him. His task was simple, assume power in the Freeworlds as his father's heir when the time came, giving the Mecetti a tie within the Tallaani Shipyards and the massive profits to be found. Demetri returned to his family as the model young man, having so impressed the Mecetti that they officially adopted him, conferring upon him the honorary title of a Baron of the Tallaani nobility. He showed great promise by humbly accepting the honor, though stating that it was his ambition to follow his father's footsteps as a minister of the Trade Federation. With nothing left to do save wait for the moment to remove his father and assume control of his holdings, Demetri decided to leave the Tallaani sector in search of greater power.

Resenting the fact that the Mecetti planned to use him, and feeling that his instruction at the hands of the Mecrosa was woefully inadequate, Demetri left in search of the Sith. The Sith had been the inspiration for the Mecrosa, surely there he would find the means to gather more power for himself; enough to topple the Mecetti should they impede his own secret plans. He had no intentions of allowing himself to be chained to the ambition of the noble house; instead he would manipulate them into becoming his own puppets as he blindly led them into believing that he was their obedient servant. Finding the Sith on Korriban he began his deeper instruction in the ways of the Dark Side, ready to sacrifice anything for greater power.

His cruel inquisitive nature captured the eye of the Sith Master Caius, known among his peers as Darth Visceris. The Master approached the potential apprentice, drilling him mercilessly before offering him the chance to learn from a ‘real Sith’, should he survive a trial created by the Sith Master. Ready and willing to take any advantage that might lead to more power, he agreed; and almost paid for his ambition with his life. Without warning Visceris unleashed an assault upon Demetri’s very mind, ripping into the depths of his mind with all the ease of a fillet knife. With his nightmares made real, Demetri was forced to endure 3 days of hellish torment, only to be awakened back to the ‘real world’ for Visceris to coldly inform him that only a scant 5 minutes had passed, and their was still 11 hours and 55 minutes to go…

He survived the ordeal, barely, though in doing so whatever part of him that might have had hope for redemption was lost forever. In its wake there was naught but a clinical mindset devoted to pain and suffering, the desire to inflict torture that could break the strongest of minds only to see the results of the twisted experiment. Visceris was pleased, and took on Demetri as his own apprentice. Rather than stay on Korriban with the other ‘lesser Sith’, the two made their way to the Outer Rim, where Visceris had set up his laboratory and experiments in the ruins of The Home, a large iron asteroid in a star system designated MZX32905. This complex had served as the primary base of the Sith Lord Darth Vectivus, centuries before. Here, Visceris and Demetri were free to delve into their own research.

It was something of a strange master/student bond, as Demetri and Visceris both were more interested in the pursuit of research than squabbling over power. Both made forays into the forbidden arts of Sith Sorcery, while Visceris expounded upon every lesson with particular fanaticism. Visceris was convinced that these teachings, unpolluted by the vestigial Jedi doctrines inherent in most modern force powers, were the key to unlocking the true power and depth of the Dark Side. Together, he and his student would delve deeper into the mystery of Sith Sorcery then any other Sith in generations, unlocking and untwisting the very fabric of the Dark Side in their year’s long research. In fact, when Demetri finally murdered Visceris, it was not because he craved his master’s power, rather than he was becoming paranoid that the older Sith was stealing his research. So, as they worked towards deciphering the secrets of Sith Alchemy, Demetri quietly ignited his saber through the back of the older Sith’s skull as he focused on his work.

There was no sadness or rejoicing, only the pleasant knowledge that he could no browse through the impressive library of texts and holocrons that Visceris had collected over the years. Now calling himself Lord Wanhope, officially seizing the rank of his fallen Master, Demetri spent the next 2 years in cloistered study, exploring and expanding upon the vast amount of forbidden secrets that Visceris had always been so careful to ration out to his ambitious student. With his powers of Sorcery increasing by leaps and bounds, Demetri rarely left his cloistered asteroid home, usually only to retrieve test subjects from among the Sith themselves, carrying out nightmarish experiments upon young acolytes, subjecting them to torture and brutal Sith Alchemy procedures. When news finally reached him of the disappearance of former Dark Lord Terminus, Demetri calmly worked to finish his most pressing of research, before leaving The Home to return to Korriban. There he would study the political climate, find who might be his rivals for the throne, and then kill them rather brutally and nick their stuff.

Firstly this is a really well thought out bio. The detail is perfect and you've really made the character clear.

However there is just the issue of Force Powers that is in question. At 28 with that many Master levels and Advanced levels it just doesn't seem right. Try for a max of 4 Master, 5 Advanced and the rest Skilled. That would fit more appropriately I believe as comparing to other characters and their levels, that's still on the higher level but it'd make it more applicable. It's that or an age rise of a few years to make it seem more logical.

Also the lack of Core powers has me a bit confused, seeing as usually the Jedi and Sith both learn those first and they're therefore some of the higher levels easier instead of the specialized ones, but perhaps there was something different about his training. I just thought I'd mention them.

Thanks.
