Skills
Along with her force powers, Xiari has spent many years studying to be a doctor in the classic sense, as many of the people she deals with do not have modern technology.
Form III (Soresu): Master Form VI (Niman): Skilled
Appearance: Xiari's appearance in an array of contradiction--motherly, yet hardened--she has been described as the very vision of Mother Earth. Her skin showed signs of long hours under the tender kiss of the sun for at least one generation. Her deep chocolate eyes seem to shine with caring and trust that could draw in even the coldest of individuals. Framing her soft face, a length of warm dark hair falls down her back.
Despite her relatively small stature, Xiari carried herself in a way that you wouldn't know her true height unless you were standing right next to her. She stands only about 5'5", but the sureness and pride in her step makes her seem taller.
Xiari's clothes are varied; although she generally picks clothing made from natural cottons and other earthly fibers. They tend to have a natural flow that accentuates her own beauty, rather than distracting from it. With a few ruffles or decorations here or there to add emphasis.
Possessions: Xiari wielded two short lightsabers: one purple and one blue. A single lightsaber with defender hilt and Jenruax crystal and the other with a Hurrikaine crystal.
Xiari also owns a star courier which she has named,The Silver Deception.
Personality: With a just slightly nurturing personality, Xiari is an easy woman to put trust in. She comes across as warm and confident demeanor that makes her seem refined, and yet still approachable. By all rights, Xiari is a nerd. Xiari has become a natural leader of sorts almost without ever really trying to. Her genuinely caring nature has made people want to follow and study under her.
Xiari has devoted the better part of 10 years as a healer, working in some of the worst conditions throughout the planet. Such experiences have made her a bit of a bleeding heart. Xiari hates needless cruelty and waste. Despite her laid back and peaceful philosophy, she has been known to to fight violently for the equality she believes in. The Arkanian offshoot has risen a great deal in status since her childhood, all of which, she has worked very hard for. Xiari has become naturally very defensive of that, and is touchy about the issue of heritage. This sensitivity has led to Xiari having mixed feelings about things such as clone and droid rights, which she has always been an extreme defender of.
Despite all of her good notes, Xiari is proud to a fault and relatively unwilling to admit her own shortcomings. This has led her to adopt a slightly exaggerated sophisticated persona to make up for any perceived shortcomings. She enjoys fine wines, reading classic books, playing piano, and painting. Had she not become a Jedi, she actually had the talent to become quite an accomplished painter. With all of her talents, it's no surprise that Xiari liked to be the center of attention; although it's unlikely that she will actively place herself there. Xiari is also very fond with children and animals.
History: Not everything in this world is fair... that was a lesson Xiari learned early in life. Her mother, an Arkanian offshoot, had been a five fingered and pointed eared slave in the mining business. Due to her beauty, it was not long before the Arkanian was bought and sold again in a more illicit field and forced to do things she would never repeat. Years later, she would be freed by an ambitious smuggler by the name of Micah Range, the man Xiari would always consider her father.
Xiari grew up on Ord Mantell as the child of a smuggler. As such, one or more of her parents were frequently away on business, but the young girl never seemed to mind, always having her head in her books since other children frequently knew of her questionable heritage and shunned her for it. She would ask questions about how everything worked and why it did so. Despite not being Xiari's actual father, Micah had always been more than happy to answer any question he could to the best of his abilities.
It was during one of these periods when her mother was away that a man by the name of Druss came to her home to speak with Micah, urging the father to send his daughter away with him to train as a Jedi. At first, the father was hesitant. What proof did he have that this was even a legitimate attempt? Would he or her mother ever see the child again? Over the next several days, his questions were slowly answered, and his worries were stifled. Once Xiari's mother was home, they eventually were convinced that this would lead to a much better future for their child.
Xiari was taken under the wing of the giant jedi named Druss. He did seem especially giant to the little girl, being only about five years of age. Druss had originally intended to bring her forth amongst the jedi, but by the time he got back to speak with the jedi council about it, he was so fond of her that he immediately volunteered to train her. While the Jedi Council at the time was resistant to the idea of recruiting a child so young. Druss remained disappointed but understood. Druss volunteered to take the child home, but when they got there, what was there to greet them wasn't loving parents, but her home left in ruins and her parents dead or gone. For the next several months, a search was conducted for the child's parents, only for find that they owed considerable money to a Hutt family.
Xiari was in tears. Not only did she not have a family to go back to, the jedi didn't want her either. Xiari blamed it on her heritage, being too young to realize just how young she was. Taking pity on the child, Druss began her trainning in secret, becoming a second father to the child, doting on her in more than just jedi training, extending it out into other various interests. Because of this, Xiari began to excel at dance, painting, and piano, all of which she insisted on including the friendly giant in, even if he had little talent in such areas, but that was no problem for the young Xiari.
As she grew, Xiari's became adept at healing. That was quite a surprise to Druss, who had always been legendary in his fighting abilities. Due to her lack of proper parents, other than the big man, the council decided there was no choice but to properly train Xiari as a Jedi knight, to prevent her from becoming rogue.
Xiari was rigorously trained and tested to make sure she was not already tainted by the dark side, but Druss's teachings proved true and Xiari's heart was good. By the time Xiari was twelve, she was beginning to study under other tutors as well to enrich her natural empathic and healing abilities. Despite the fact that she was no longer training under Druss, the young half Arkanian remained quite the daddy's girl and sought to spend as much time with the aging man as she possibly could.
As time progressed and Xiari began taking her own missions, she became busier and busier. At first, she simply went on mission after mission to help, but it became clear that being the designated healer on missions was not her calling. One day, she came to a mission on Melida/daan,. While parts of the planet was actively fighting, other sectors suffered. Xiari was moved so deeply she decided to dedicate much of her life to this end. Shortly after that, she asked to take leave to begin working to help those in dire need in the lowest sectors of the galaxy. The began volunteering at orphanages and hospitals, but this volunteer work slowly led to her leading these organizations.
Xiari began recording her finds and publishing them in hopes that it would help bring awareness to struggling sentients everywhere. It was several years after that when a publisher approached Xiari, asking her to publish her stories in a book. It was hard for the young woman to not say yes right away.
It took more time than Xiari would have expected, having almost no working knowledge of the publishing industry, but eventually Xiari's book was available to the masses. Xiari was awarded for her diligence in fighting to help those less fortunate, which she ate up. In the time she didn't spend at the temple or helping others, Xiari spent in interviews and doing holonet specials. The proceeds of these went mostly to the Jedi order and to whatever work she was currently doing.
When Xiari turned 27, Druss, the man who helped her accomplish so much, became sick. Without hesitation, Xiari hurried home to help. She tried hard to heal him; however there is no real cure for old age. His death was long and drawn out.
Shortly after Druss's death, Xiari was called before the council to discuss its effects on her. Xiari went in front of the Jedi council, expecting the worst; however, her recent recognition throughout the galaxy had been noted by the council. Once Xiari's psychiatric exam was over, she was awarded the position of Jedi master. Xiari accepted the position with mixed feelings. It was one of the most bitter sweet moments in her life.

ok im sorry to go against drey on this matter but given the context of your bio i can not say that you would have as many powers nor that you would have as many mastered. it is acceptable that a master would know such but the reason behind such is that thy spend their lives in the conclave learning the force, where as you state that the majority of your time was in peace feeling, writing books, and interviews. you even make a point to saying you didn't spend allot of time at the temple, so the short time in your bio that you were in the temple doesn't lead me to believe you could have learned all the power you know.
easy fix options: 1. you could change your bio to a more temple based life dedicated to the study and preservation of the force 2. you could restrict your self to 7 powers and reduce some of the masters to lower levels.
im not trying to force you into something you wont like. if the life you want the jedi to have had was as you stated then please lower the powers. if the powers are more important to you than the history then please adjust the history.
When listing force powers please do so like as follows:
Empathy [Master] Animal Friendship [Advanced]
other than that i like the character. so please just make these little adjustments and you'll be good to go.

I'm sorry to have wasted anyone's time, but I'm just afraid this doesn't seem to be the place for me here.
Best of luck to you all though.
