Takashi: Today is the start of the show cooking with takashi I'm your host Takashi himerou expert chef champion sumo wrestler! So don't get me mad OR I SQUASH YOU HAHAHA! anyway the first episode is featured around buns. yes viewers everyone loves bread but when your on the go and cannot eat at a restaurant these fine rolls will guarantee to enlighten the pallet give you a better appreciation for the bovine this recipe was made by the amory family from france. so thank you.. Amory family Lets Cook! What you need and how much the recipe will yield 6 Eggs 8 cups of flour 3 cups of bloomed Yeast 8 cups of milk (4 cups dried 4 cups whole milk) 6cups of water 6LB lean ground beef Yeilds an estimated 45 to 90 buns How to perpare: in a baking bowl place your egg whites in it then set aside. proceed doing the same thing with the egg yolks. using a whisk make the egg whites nice and fluffy making sure no lumps are in them. while doing so pour the flour must be poured in while you stir and can only be put in 1 cup at a time if you add it all at once well.. lets say a mess will be brewed when all the flour is added add the 4 cup of boxed milk and set aside. in the other mixing bowl add shorting then add your yeast egg yolks and 4 cup of whole milk using a stand mixer Combine both bowls in the mixer on it's 4th setting mix for about 56 minutes. after mixing let it set then cut the dough in half kneeding both doughs very well don't be afraid to use your knuckles after both doughs are finely kneed take the 1st dough (if done what was said you have 2 doughs this is tricky i'll explain why)) break off a big piece take your ground beef placing it on the dough itself after that using another piece of the dough roll it out and place it ontop of the 1st dough rolling it neatly into a big ball. if done right no meat will be coming out of the dough. proceed with the others steam for about 45 minutes 300 degrees in your slow cooker. after steaming cut it in half if right no meat will come out of the dough. ~following the instructions takashi tasted the steamed bun. looking around he gave it 2 thumbs up~ Takashi: we have a great first recipe this has been cooking with takashi good luck in the kitchen. |
