ESPer Identification Card

Full Name:Helena Odette Bolitho
Aliases: The only thing she answers to that's not her name is "Ma'am" or "M'Lady"
Gender: Female
Age/Birthday: 23, April 28th
Sexual Orientation: 75% straight...
Job Title: Owner and head of Her cleaning business "Spotless"
Otherworld Affiliation: Earth and Beastlands
Species: Were Swan
Physical Appearance: Helena is long and fairly lean, with a bit of heartman hips going on. She's of fair height at 5' 7" and while she looks fairly willowy she's more muscled than she looks. Much about her is elegant and (in her own words) she looks to be "high born". Her hair is platinum, nearly pure white and her skin almost looked slightly tanned compared to her hair. Her hair falls to just below the shoulders, gently wavy, and frequently has a delicate or intricate braid in it. She has blue grey eyes and dresses "posh", she'll wear a dress or fancy frock without a moment's hesitation. She loves to dress in gowns and will look for any reason to wear one. Even when wearing Jeans on the weekend she still tends toward highly fashionable looks.

Personality: In a word, Haughty. While not horrendous and unlikable, she's certainly not -easy- to like. Flattery is one of the few things that will get you anywhere with her socially. Berating or belligerence toward her staff is simply not tolerated and she will make haste to inform you of such. In unguarded moments she can be caught being down right motherly to the Brownies that work for her, calling them her Cygnets in those moments regardless of the fact that most of them are greatly older than she being fairy folk. While stern with her staff, being called M'lady will almost ensure that staffer gets something a little extra or special, so most of the brownies tend to call her that.

History: Well as Swan Maidens go she's fairly normal if you can call one of the most rare were beasts normal with a straight face, but she did not always know she was a swan. Born and raised in England by her father, Gerald Bolitho and moved to the US when her father remarried, living near the great lakes in a quiet stately home. While she didn't resent her father, she was not particularly fond of her new stepmother, Patty, finding her to be quite dull and unsophisticated. A fairly athletic child she participated in tennis, swimming, fencing and several other sports, finding the time away from her stepmother to be quite relaxing.

In an attempt to be an utter pain and annoyance to Patty who seemed to think all those sports were useless, Helena took to leaving the house should she disagree with Patty and go off to practice one of her sports. One night the pair got into an argument over Helena having friends over, specifically the lack of boys that came calling on her. Interestingly enough, it was Patty who wanted Helena to have a boyfriend, seemingly worried that her stepdaughter was dabbling with girls. Helena was greatly offended by the line of questioning and after telling her stepmother to "Bugger off you insufferable Chav!" Helena fled the house to find something angry to do.

And as these things tend to when you don't know you're a were creature, in the light of the full moon she fumed and raged, running along the edge of the water. In an unusual moment of clumsy she slipped and fell into the water. When she surfaced again, a young female Mute swan sat floating on the water. She stared at it for what felt like ages, treading water, when she finally looked away from the animal because something brushed her leg and looked back it was gone, simply the moon reflected on the surface. Entranced she tried to find the animal, she thought she saw it's form near shore and swam towards it. As she stood in shallow water the swan seemed to look at her before flying away. She watched it, wishing she too could fly away for a moment. And in that moment she changed, a rather ungamely and moderately painful process for one who had never shifted before. Patty had been begrudgingly looking about for her and heard a commotion, coming out to the lake to find a large swan near shore. The swan, a notoriously territoriality beastie, took umbrage to her presents and began hissing and acting aggressively towards Patty. Patty being less than superbly bright ignored the warnings and proceed to get bitten and bruised up a bit from the wing battering she received.

Luckily for Helena in the morning she returned to normal. It took her some years to figure out exactly how to manage herself but she used the discipline from all of her sports and her extreme willfulness to power through it, mastering both when and where she changed, though she certainly can't get out of changing under the full moon she learned very quickly how to avoid people on the night of the full moon. It actually wasn't until she was a full grown adult in college studying business that she was discovered by the ESPers. She was a competent, well read, and already had purchased a small cleaning business that she ran with frightening efficiency. While perhaps not the most endearing person she was asked rather cordially to register. After some silver tongued persuasion she registered and all but installed herself as the manager of their cleaning service, drafting a few under employed brownies to start with. She then proceed to make the cleaning service into an independent, self sufficient business. She oversees all the cleaning and janitorial services in the ESPers building and any maid services required by dignitaries. They do actually clean normal things but most of those are expensive condos, office buildings late at night, and affluent homes.

All of the brownies who work for her may (if they chose) live in a relatively small dorm like building on her affluent property just north of Saint Paul proper.
