My mind utterly blown. My stomach totally empty. I was so screwed. Found myself in the common room, a bunch of weird people and things around me. I guess I fell into that last category, a thing. Not sure what kind of thing I was, but I wasn't human, that was for sure. "I don't suppose I get to eat that guard then." I sighed, speaking mostly too myself. I walked over to a chair that was one of many in the room, and flopped down, putting my hands on either arm of the not-so-soft 'throne.' "I don't suppose I'm the only one here, that has no fucking idea what is going on?" I spoke, using the language that most of the people in this land used. Still sounded like I made habits of eating gravel, but it was kind of cool. If only I had this voice back home. It'd be amazing for death metal vocals. Ah, music. Something I'd miss. I started humming to myself, a good old song by a band called Vader. 'Xeper' was the title of the song. I found myself tapping my foot and mouthing the words as the song played in my head. What I didn't realize was the fact that I was actually singing bits of the song here and there, and sounding pretty fucking awesome as I did. "Sweet." I smirked, my beastly teeth bearing wickedly. Wasn't intentional, but it was, I imagined, pretty fearsome. |

Rhys was hardly believing what he was being told. Hell, he couldn't believe his eyes, either. This was beginning to seem less and less like some kind of theme park and more like... No. No way. This really couldn't all be...real. Could it? Troubled, Rhys kept his mouth shut through the meeting with the king, shockingly enough. He remained quiet until this mis-matched group was shown to their private rooms and the common area between them. Now it felt like they were living in some kind of medieval dormitory. That made Rhys internally groan. Well, at least it didn't seem like he was going to have to pay for any of this. Or food. Had there been some mention of food? He watched as one of a weirdos plopped himself on a chair, and Rhys was soon to follow. The guy's question drew a short bark of a humorless laugh from Rhys, who confirmed, "None of us has any idea what's going on here. Or if someone does, can they be nice and share it with the class? 'Cuz I'm lost." |

More or less, I figuratively floated through the entire thing. I suppose it was better than suddenly literally floating… which I could theoretically do. Names were registered, and... stuck easier than usual. Normally, I had a horrid memory for names and other details I believed insignificant. Maybe my ability to recall names was merely attached to the oddities of the entire situation, though. For the most part, I stood in a daze as the king (What the hell am I doing, meeting a king?) talked at our strange collection of individuals, then followed along after Cai (roughly in the back of the group) towards what I supposed would be our quarters for the time being. Wayre, in some place called Taia. I don’t recognize either of those names… so. Not from a book or something, as far as I know… My thoughts wandered further, though I was shaken from them by Cai’lyn’s words, and entering the common area. ”Thank you for bringing us up here, Cai’lyn. Good night,” I said, flashing a slight smile that didn’t… quite look right. Something about the way my mouth and jaws were shaped made it difficult, so, the smile disappeared and was replaced with a slight wave after the woman. Food sounded magnificent. Particularly something of the meat variety, I didn’t think fruits would hold me over quite as well as they would normally. Food for a carnivore. My tongue ran over my teeth experimentally, something I hadn’t yet thought to check on. Yup. More of the jaws of a meat-eater, though still suitable for consuming other matter as well. I padded over to a chair and settled down. Well. Tried. It took some adjusting, wings finally curling around and hiding most of my body to avoid being crushed between my back and the chair itself, and tail curled around my side, the tip hanging off the edge of the chair and down near my feet. ”…This whole thing is really fucking weird,” I finally settled on saying, ”It makes me a little twitchy that even the people that seem like they should know what’s going on don’t seem to know any more than us, who seem to have just kind of been dropped in the middle of things like some characters that an author suddenly decided their book needed..” |

"Well, chaps..." I started. "Fucking Christ! Why am I British!?" I said making my way to a chair in the common area. "Whatever, I have other worries at this given time." This guy who was talking about books had a fair point. That was a fairly good and accurate description. "You have a fair point, it was Gareth...was it not? Let us elaborate on that, bounce some ideas back and forth yey? Either that or we all dropped into comas and are having the same bloody dream." You know, its kinda fun being so proper... I thought randomly in the middle of the sentence. "I'm actually quite thirsty, I wonder what they have to drink in this place. I imagine it will be nice whatever it is. It is a castle is it not? Though a rather incompetent one, they didn't know much more than we did!" |

Nihil Temptatum, Nihil Potitum "I wish none of this had ever happened" "So do all who see such times, but that is not for them to decide, all you have to decide is what to do with the time that is given with you" "Youre ugly" "Youre drunk" "That may be...but tomorrow morning. I'll be sober, and youll still be ugly" | |

A formal meeting with a king, found out that more information would come in the morning…why couldn't it be told now? They were then told where they shouldn't go, mostly just guided here, to a common room. Reia moved over, moving around each of the others, looking them over through her hazed eyes. She listened as each said they didn't know what was going on, some seemed trying to figure out their bodies similar to how she felt. Hell right now she was still trying to figure out how to stop wagging her tail. "It feels too real for a dream. Does anyone see any windows they can look out? I'm abit blind so I can't, but if we can see where we are maybe we can figure out more." |
