Name: Moirelle O'Floinne

Age: 18

Gender: Female

Species: Half-Fae (Half-Goblin)

Powers: None... yet. Eventually she will be able to use Teleportation, Transfiguration, Telekinesis

BRIEF History: Moirelle's father (a fae) abandoned her at the home of her adopted mother. Her biological mother (a human) died in childbirth and her father kept her for four years after, until he could no longer take care of her. He then fed her a sleeping draught and laid her on the doorstep of a loving family with a note as to her origins. Her adopted family loved her very much, and Moirelle liked them enough, but she never loved them, not really.
Her father returned to her once to take her back to the fae realm, but Moirelle would not go. She had grown to hate her father since he had abandoned her and chose to stay in the human world where she was never treated like a human being outside her home.
Moirelle did have one friend in the human world. Livian was her best friend and never treated her like a freak. She loved running in the forest with him when they were kids and cared for him very much, though she was never sure he really knew.

Appearance: She has bright red hair that seems to have an ethereal glow when the sunlight touches it. Her skin is white as snow, with no flaws and a porcelain finish. Her lips are as red as the blood which flows through her veins. Her eyes are blue as the ocean and glitter with the light of a thousand stars. She has pointed ears and sharp teeth, and when she was five she started growing a tail! Her tail is long and bare of fur with the exception of a silky tuft at the end.

This seems strangely reminiscent of Labyrinth. I've never actually seen the full movie, but what I do know of it seems to match with what's being written here XD

It is reminiscent to the storyline, but the characters and story are quite different.

In "Labyrinth," the goblin king steals Sarah's baby brother because Sarah wishes the goblins to take him away. Then Sarah has to go to the center of the labyrinth, which is nearly the entire setting, to find him.

In my story, Moirelle is whisked away to the castle of the goblin king because Moirelle made a whish to leave her home. Now she has to fight her way out of the entire realm of the fae and the labyrinth just happens to be part of it.

I realize the similarities, and I did that knowingly. I've always wanted to write a story similar to Labyrinth.

Sir Didymus was so awesome.

That is all.

Good luck with the role play. I'm spread too thin to participate. Just wanted to express my like for the film. The singing got old quickly though. The movie itself held up ok, but the music is stale.

I happened to like the music, but to each his own! I would appreciate if there were no more one-line comments about the movie. If you have a real question/comment concerning my thread, feel free! I simply don't want a bunch of clutter to sift through when people actually start inquiring about characters and such.

Thank you very much! =)

Sexy Shoeless God of Something
Name: Livian
Age: 21
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Powers: None
BRIEF History: Best friend of Moirelle since a young age, Livian was the son of a friendly family. He and Moirelle grew up together and while Moirelle didn't necessarily like her family, Livian liked to think that she always liked him. They would go playing in the woods together and think of fun stories. Livian always accepted Moirelle for who she was. He's had to work as a carpenter's apprentice, lately, since both of his parents have passed, but he still cares deeply for Moirelle and makes time to see her.

I like this character profile! It's very nice. Everywhere else I've tried to start this up, people don't want to play the human parts.

I like playing human parts in fantasy settings because everything else is always so otherworldy. It helps ground it.
