Itoe nodded sweetly and accepted the request to drink tea silently, trailing behind the other being that had asked for the entire set. She seemed to perk up just the tiniest amount at the mention of a drink, and her feet actually lifted off the ground as she moved quickly to seat herself and take her own cup in her hands. She was just glad to have the comforting liquid in hand. She made sure to drink it slowly as what was expected from most being she came into contact with, but she was eager to get through the first cup and into the second and hopefully third if she could manage it. Listening to the others talk as she occupied her time with the tea.

She did listen closely, don't get her wrong. She analysed every movement, every inflection of the men's voices, the subtle undertones that were present, but she was focused mainly on her tea. She could afford to enjoy lives small things after living for a century plus. She loved the various different teas of the regions she visited almost as much as she loved the cucumbers that she often bought from farmers in the more rural areas and from the merchants of the urban cities. This shop had just happened to be a random curious visit, but she was glad to get tea out of the deal honestly.

The wood worker was interesting, but she was starting to wonder about other places to crash already. This place was much to dry for her tastes, but on the other hand this tea really was tasty . . . As she pondered her options at the moment and also watched and listened to the other two, hoping against all social norms that she wouldn't have to talk much. Conversation was no always her strong point, not when she was in female forms anyways. She had always lived her lives as mostly male, only pulling out the female form when she couldn't catch a break as a man. Which wasn't often.

Hoping that the carpenter would fill the lull in conversation with an answer for the other Itoe covertly refilled her cup, starting to nurse her second cup now, and making the atmosphere as calming as possible. She was in luck that the table was small enough to keep them all in fairly close quarters, she preferred it that way seeing as they were inside her aura. The excitement rolling off of the other patron and the carpenter both was almost making her jittery with hyperactivity.

When the creature cocked his head to the side slightly, Amaya’s guard instantly went down and her hands removed themselves from the sword. She couldn’t feel threatened by something that was acting so cute. Of course, cute things had the ability to turn real evil real quick…but it wouldn’t make sense for it to have not attacked her yet, cocked it’s head to the side so cutely, and then attack. No sense at all. So feeling like there was no threat, Amaya watched the animal curiously as he made a noise and then padded over to the water. Was it…bored with her? It seemed to have understood her, or at least attempted to understand her. It even seemed like the noise it made was in response to her words. Though…could that be possible?

Either way it didn’t seem like it mattered since the animal started to pad away without a care in the world. As it did, Amaya turned back to adjusting her clothes, all while keeping an eye on the animal. ”What…is it doing?” she asked herself as she saw it in the water. Was it fishing? It looked like it. Though, something as large as this fox, looked like it would need more than just a couple fish to eat. It looked like it could eat a dog or something even larger.

After making sure everything was in place on her body, Amaya was torn between moving on to not give this creature another look, and actually staying to see what it was doing. After watching it for a couple seconds, she saw the large fox throw a fish onto the land, and then turn back to the water. It was…fishing? Extremely curious now, Amaya shifted from one foot to the other, crossing her arms across her compacted chest. To be honest, it was a pain to wrap her chest. It was difficult to breathe sometimes, and even more difficult to actually fight with her chest tied down. At least, at first it was like that. With training though, she learned how to breathe properly so she wouldn’t have pain or be short of breath when she needed it the most. Sure, it wasn’t very lady like way of breathing, but then again she wasn’t supposed to be lady like when disguised as a male.

Pressing her fist to her diaphragm, Amaya checked the wrapping to make sure everything would stay together until the end of the day. It felt fine, but she had wrapped quicker than usual because she was out in the open and there were others nearby. Others…being…this large fox. She’d seen it come out of the forest, seen it jump into the water and swim around a bit before coming out. She’d not really acknowledged it until it was staring at her though. Now it was back to the water, fishing out food for…who? She hadn’t missed the fox’s gaze darting between her and the fish before it went back to fish out more fish. Was it…offering food to her? Or was it warning her to stay away? She didn’t dare go closer. That is, until it got out of the water a little away from the fish and started to clean it’s self. It was obvious the large fox was not interested in the fish. At least, not interested enough to stop her from taking them. Should she take them though? She hadn’t caught them, and she could have just gone to town and eaten in a couple hours. But…did she even have anything to barter for food? She had nothing to trade, nor did she have gold. This fish looked like it could be her only food for the day.

”It wouldn’t…hurt…” she muttered to herself. It was obvious that this fox had no problem finding food. She wasn’t hurting it by taking the fish. So walking towards the food tentatively, Amaya kept her eye on the fox, not only to make sure it didn’t change it’s mind, but also because of it’s beauty. Watching it clean it’s self, he was not only handsome, but cute too. She had a soft spot for animals, and this large fox was simply too gracious. She felt like she was in love with the creature who went out of it’s way to catch food for her. ”Thank you, kind sir. If I run into you again, I will surely return the favor…” she then took the fish with a deep bow, then backed away a couple steps to make sure it was okay, then turned and headed away. She was pretty sure if he was giving it to her, he didn’t want a portion of it, especially not cooked. She couldn’t make sushi herself, so she always cooked her food. Looking at the fish with a smile on her face, Amaya started down the small dirt path towards Edo. After about fifteen minutes of walking, she decided her stomach had waited long enough and walked a bit off the path and set up a small fire where she would cook 2 of the fish for now, and save the others for later. She really was thankful towards that large fox. ”Maybe he was a god…” she said to herself. She had always known about the Gods that took form of animals…was there a chance that this creature had been a God?

Shogun Midori Hana

Hana yawned for moment to the silence of her palace. It was peaceful here, but with open doors comes the breaking of the calm. Not that it bothered her at all, but at least within the silence she could hear the whispers within the palace. The unfortunate part was the limitations of humans hearing, which was likely as Midori Hana cannot hear the entire empire that lay beneath her feet. All of a sudden the doors had opened before her. Seeing the man walking in and the sight of visible nervousness in him as well, he bowed at the edge of her throne. “Masao… what a convenience you offer to me,” She smirked, appreciated by his sudden arrival. “There is commotion that I have not been able to see for myself,” she continued on standing up to lean on the throne chair’s left side with a slightly straight right arm extending out. Midori Hana’s sword at this moment was on the opposite side of herself, her tattered sleeve that seemed to have no arm flapped in the moving air for a moment before settling and her hair ended up across her torso because of its length. “Shall you accompany me to travel the empire as it is during this awakening daylight,” saying such as she pushed her hair back to its proper spot and peered at Masao’s eyes with her one eye but glaring with the blind side.

She didn’t despise the fact that she lost the eye she once had, but the fact that those that she surrounds herself with do not find confidence with their own two pupils. As the Shogun, it is often that Hana sees the peering eyes fall quickly before her excellence. Then walking towards the man before her going down a few steps from her throne chair she spoke to Masao again, “Meet me at the front doors of the palace and get a few guards to accompany,” then she snapped her fingers, echoing a loud sound of the snap in the hall of the throne room. At the moment of her fingers snapping across the hall, a servant appeared immediately at the opened door way and yelled out with an instant bow, “I serve the shogun!”… “Prepare my horse and have at the palace entrance,” Midori Hana command the servant as he bolted off, she knew this would take time too so she turned her back to Masao with her head cocked on the blind side toward him and slowly walking up the few steps up she had recently took downward before. “I will be meeting you there in a few moments, now go and prepare our short travel,” she informed the man calmly as she reached the topped of the stairway.

Daichi Katsuo

Katsuo brought his visitors to a cleaned pine wooden table next to the back doors of the shop. Having them take a seat at this small, yet exquisite masterpiece in its self. The wood of the table might have been a cheap pine, but the work that was done to it made it seem tough as oak and polished like maple with a dark wood stain to give it a finished look. This was all presentation, an enjoyable part of this hobby of his that he has. Katsuo served his visitors calmly using a small wooden contraption that dispensed warm green tea from a wooden fountain.

Standing with his back towards the back doors enjoying the tea with company, Katsuo acknowledge the man speaking, asking Katsuo of his past life and the retrieval of his skills as a great carpenter. Downing his tea to feel the instant warm within his body as the liquid seeped down into his esophagus to his stomach. “I cannot include complete detail that you may want, sir. I will tell you that I, Daichi Katsuo, enjoy your company and hope that you will enjoy your visitation fully.” He put his cup down with his back turned for moment, before peering back to his clients of this grand morning, “A skill, a technique is completely within its beholder’s hands. These wood works are merely something I enjoy in life, something much simpler than surviving life as we know it every day,” saying so as he slowly paced over to the back entrance, hands on each door frame at the seam of the opening. “Now you may believe that this may seem like a job, but to me it is a separation from life itself. I’m not one for silly stories of course, but for you, I will entertain you with some of my better masterpieces that I would offer.”

Finishing his words with a slight pause, Katsuo opened, completely the doors to each side as they slammed opened with warm sunlight and fresh air, and the cross breeze caused by the grand opening cause most of the dust of the store was withholding blew rite out through the front entrance. The area was filled with what looked like marble masterpieces, from fine dining tables to massive figures and small ponds that had their own scenery. The "Back" area itself was at least an acre and a half of fair green grass beneath several wooden planked paths that went out to each masterpiece, and each wood work was either six to ten feet wide and up to ten or fifteen feet in height. Much bigger than the small scaled collection inside but everything from inside was made even bigger out there as if to accompany the demands of empires or royalty. “There are not many who see the true work of this small carpenter, but the reasons stand on their own. Do not worry about the price of these, for it is just merely wood, and nature surrounds us with the necessary supply, but as far as carrying these you might need some help other than your own two legs,” Katsuo took in a moment to glare at the marvelous site he had created before turning around to see his visitors’ eyes and a smile on his face to give a welcomed aura for them. Formalities was not something Katsuo did every day, but he did what he needed to get some kind of currency for himself to eat and enjoy the afternoon to come. “If you must, take a walk around on the path before you,” He claimed take a side step to reveal an easily missed wooden walkway that takes walking feet closer to the collections. Katsuo bowed slightly to his clients before walking to the other side of the table to take a seat. “Do tell me, what brought your interest to this place. It is not often that I have company in this place?”

Though this man was skilled, and Makoto could understand--even respect his ideology, he found it unlikely that he would be willing to carry out the Shogun's more... "questionable" tasks. This would only become a problem in the future. To have someone so just that would refuse to take life unless absolutely necessary. Eventually, his difference in ideals would surely make an enemy of the Shogun and her methods. Truthfully, even he had some qualms with her methods--at first. But her word is absolute. It is the law, and the law is to be obeyed. Makoto himself had ended the lives of many who would resist her rule, without exception.

Makoto closed his eyes in thought. "Perhaps it would be best to simply use his talents for future bounties. The ones the Shogun would benefit more from the return of them alive." He opened his eyes upon hearing that Ryu had a few questions of his own. He would have to play it safe for now and find out more about this man before bringing him to the Shogun. "Very well, I shall answer you to the best of my abilities. However, I may only recommend you. Should you still wish to serve under the Shogun after you have heard my answers, I shall bring you to her for further... evaluation."

"But, first." Makoto looked beyond Ryu, to the guards that were still lurking around. "Back to your stations, all is well here." Displeased with the overall result, the guards grunted and reluctantly returned to their posts. A quick glance behind him showed that few of the crowd remained; by now, it was made obvious that there would be no continuation of the fight.

"Well then, what have you to ask me?"

Ryu was more than willing to stick around and converse with the man, but when he sensed a change in his intentions, Ryu felt as if he was no longer welcome there. Thinking best to leave while he was still ahead, he looked to the man once more. "While I respect your beliefs and the beliefs of the Shogun, I have my own. I realize now that it would be a mistake to use my abilities for something I do not believe in. I will take my leave now, perhaps we will meet another day where my use will be more... Useful. Good day."

Ryu bowed low, and then backed away several steps, then turned to leave. He hoped the man would understand and simply allow him to leave. He did not wish to fight anymore. He simply wished to leave and return to his wife to check up on her and pay her caretakers with the reward money.

The day was finally seeming to be better than it had started, and it seemed to be looking up. Even though he would need to continue searching for odd jobs here and there, it had served him well enough to this day, and would continue. With hope in his heart, he walked down the dusty street, the sun casting a shadow on his face from the brim of his hat. Perhaps they would see him again someday. Perhaps.

Keeping focused on the task at hand, just for the moment, Yasei handled cleaning the water out of his coat while the woman debated about handling the fish that had been tossed out of the water by the large fox. Unfortunately there wasn't much to be done about his underbelly, flexible as he was there was no way he was going to roll over and lick himself in front of a lady, that would be just plain rude. Even so, the kitsune stood and shook himself slightly, the remaining water in his pelt being spattered all across the rocks and stones below him.

Watching as the woman cautiously, almost hesitantly, took the fish and thanked him; giving a chuff in reply and a flick of his tail while he stood there the large fox watched and waited till she was out of sight for a long while before changing his shape. Standing up on his hind legs while the reddish-amber and white fur seemed to pull into his skin and features shrinking to fit that of a human. "Phew~! Hahaha that was scary." Now changed back into his human form, Yasei stretched upward with a groan before planting his hands on his bare hips, not even caring about his nudity. Who was going to see anyway? The woman had left. "Hm, best get a move on before I miss the meal." He snickered deviously at the set up, give someone enough food that they can't eat in one sitting and 'happen' to pass by as they cook. It worked, really it did. Wading back into the river, his raven black hair spread out in a fan behind him as he got in up to his mid back, Yasei headed for the shore of the other side where his belongings had been kept. Keeping to the bushes, the naked man quickly retraced his steps, gathered up his belongings, dressed, and hurried along. He was already ten minutes behind the woman and who knows how long before she got hungry.

Running; it made up about half the time difference and as he slowed to calm his breath and seem as though he was simply wandering by, he could smell the fish being cooked. Humming in excitement his figurative tail was wagging, though he did check to make sure a tail wasn't sticking out the back of his clothing. Transformation and clothing just didn't go well together. As he made the final approach, spotting the small fire with the lone figure sitting near it, Yasei raised a hand as he let out a hail of greeting. Coming nearer, the man removed the straw hat that covered his head to reveal his face with a friendly smile on it, his emerald eyes almost completely shut in their slant. "Greetings my good l- sir, I don't suppose you'd have kindness enough to share a good bounty?" He had almost slipped, he had seen this cross-dresser as a fox and known them to be a woman but a stranger on the road would see them as a male. It was a close catch, and even if he was questioned about the markings on his face he could easily say it was in honor of a fox shaped deity; a flawless story! At least most people didn't press the question anyway so it worked flawless or not.

He suppressed his 'aura' so that he didn't come off as a fighter of any skill, really hoping that this person would simply brush the lack of presence off as Yasei being harmless to them. It made life easier to avoid unneeded conflict after all and the company so much nicer too. Now to just simply reap the fruits of his effort~!<3

After setting up her fire, Amaya felt like she could relax with the fish sitting on a stick and balancing over the fire. What would she do with the rest of the fish though? That Fox God sure was generous to her, but could she really eat all that fish alone? Sure, if she had some warm sake and a nice table to sit at with someone preparing Sushi out of the fish she might be able to eat it all. But out here in the planes, god knows how far from Edo…she really couldn’t be too gluttonous. Either way, Amaya figured cooked fish might be easier to keep than raw fish (and smell better too) So she started to cut open the fish with one of her daggers and cleaned them out.

Putting all the waste and inedible parts, to the side to possibly feed a hungry fox or wolf later, Amaya made sure all the fish given to her so graciously were cleaned out and then she started to connect them to sticks and poke one end in the stick so the fish would be close to the fire without her having to hold them all while they cooked.

It was just after she finished putting up the last fish that she heard approaching footsteps and looked over to see a male coming her way. Clearing her throat, Amaya took on her male persona even more and made sure to watch herself and not show anything too feminine about herself. No matter how unthreatening this man looked, she still couldn’t open up herself and show she’s no male. It would be disastrous for her show her true identity or gender to anyone. So keeping her rough voice that was normally reserved for speaking as a male to other men, Amaya nodded towards him and said ”Good Day…” and looked closer at the male.

It was then, that she realized he seemed familiar. Not in a familiar sense that she knew him. More like saw him in passing. But reaching into her memory, she tried to remember where she saw him before. Staring intently at his face, she looked over the markings on his face with furrowed brows, and stood up to show respect. There was no point to stay seated while you’re being approached by a traveler. Even though this man didn’t seem very skilled, he still seemed like he should be respected for some reason. This went against her normal male persona’s personality, but it’s not like this male would really know her normal male personality, right? Though he did look familiar. Did she scuffle with him in the past? If so, he wouldn’t seem so…pleasant, right? So whatever they did in their past life together, perhaps they had a pleasant encounter?

”Ah no. I don’t mind sharing. I managed to get more than I could eat in one sitting and it would be a waste if it went bad…Welcome…” She said politely and moved in a welcoming manner for him to come and sit next to her. She then sat down and twisted a fish stick so the other side would start cooking as well. She’d hadn’t bothered to pull off the scales because she hoped they would heat the inside well and she could just eat from the inside. For a woman who had to take care of herself for so long…she was kind of lost on how to cook fish. She was used to small animals that all you had to do was clean out and peel off the fur and then you were good.

Teido eagerly caught the bottle of blood that the shogun had so graciously given him, and he opened the top of it to take a deep inhalation of its delightful scent. Though fresh blood was always preferred over something like this, he was still pleased with it. Virgin blood was so very potent, after all. He would never complain about receiving that in any manner, whether it be fresh or licked off the floor.

He took another deep inhalation of its scent, he gave a fang-filled smile. How to drink this latest bit of payment, though? Should he just sip it from the top, or should he enjoy it in another fashion? Usually he was in a hurry and just drank it down like a human would any typical drink, but he had some time to waste and he wanted to make this last.

Still smiling, Teido took off a glove and poured a few drops of the blood onto the back of his hand, which he proceeded to lick clean. A purr sounded from his throat as he licked up the delicious fluid, his eyes darkening with his thirst for more. But he would be patient and finish what he started. It would take a while to do so, which is exactly what he desired. Making the taste last, and delaying when he'd have to go out into the sunlight. It was a win-win, so far as he was concerned.

Alas, he finished the bottle of blood far too soon for his liking, and once he was sure he'd gotten out every last drop that he could, he stowed away the bottle so he could return it to the shogun. Hopefully it would be refilled and delivered to him again quite soon. He could never have his fill of her blood.

He put his glove back on and made sure his cloak covered him adequately before leaving his room, going out in search of the shogun. The vampire usually kept her in his sight during the day, just as an extra precaution. He wouldn't let any harm come to her, even though the sunlight did cause him considerable discomfort, even with the cloak on. He'd endure it for her, though. He'd endure anything to keep her blood from being wasted.

There was that feeling of scrutiny, Yasei almost started sweating bullets as the cross-dresser looked at him more closely; quirking an eyebrow in curiosity, doing his best to keep himself relatively ignorant looking as he was looked at intently. Finally, the person relented and welcomed him to sit down, the shifted kitsune gave a very faint sigh of relief that could possibly be explained as not wanting to be shooed away. "Thank you very much for your hospitality." Giving the cross-dresser a polite bow, he settled himself near the fire, watching the fish cook on the spits. Sitting quietly for a moment before snapping his fingers. "Ah hah! I know what could make this better!" Standing up slowly, he strode into the trees, looking around at each one of them till he was slightly obscured by the foliage as he came to a wild mahogany tree.

He picked through the limbs of the tree, finding a few small limbs that were live but able to be snapped off, gathering them up he returned back to the fire with a broad grin on his face as he carefully put the broken up wood into the fire, carefully fanning the flames with his hand and blowing on it until the new wood had caught and the pleasing smell of mahogany started to drift up in the dark smoke that the fish were leaned into. "An trick I learned from an elderly man on the road, add some sticks of mahogany to your fire and the fish cooked will have a rich flavor." He looked up, grinning at the 'young man' as if to ask how neat that tip was before adjusting the spitted fish slightly so that they were close to the flames but just enough to be kissed by the smoke.

Now came the most difficult part, the small talk. Settling himself back down, across from his host on the other side of the fire with his legs crossed and his hands folded in his lap to patiently wait for the fish to be done. "So where are you bound for, stranger? Along this road I would guess Edo but one never knows." It was an art of its own, conversation that is, some people were blessed with the ability to talk about things with company for hours while others still had to struggle to find things to say; through his time wandering, the kitsune had found a sort of middle ground but was still rather awkward; it was enough to complete his 'helpless' persona and keep most from starting a struggle with him. Rubbing the back of his hand slightly, he raised his emerald eyes from the fish to the person kind enough to share some of the fish; granted it was given to her in the first place but some people had that bit of avarice about them that they didn't care much to share a meal with strangers on the road.

His eyes swept over the 'man' before him, not able to say that he wasn't curious about this person; they were a woman as he had seen in his vulpine form, but yet in his presence she acted as a man would even managed to change her voice just enough to come off as a young man. People were fairly dense, if they were looking for a woman they sought out just a woman that looked a particular way and would be blinded by a disguise such as changing one's hair or skin tone faintly; that being thought about was she being looked for as a woman? The thoughts made his figurative tail shake in excitement at being able to see a story like this unfold before him; maybe he could even play as an actor in it if he did things right! Who needed the Kabuki for entertainment when you had the much bigger play called life before you?

Itoe blinked and looked at the area opened to her by the woodscrafter. It was stunning to say the least. She hadn't seen many things such as this in her lifetime and that was saying something. She got up slowly and gracefully and looked around, coughing slightly at the sudden dust spewing about. Everything looked genuinely marble but what he had said was true, she brought her hands up to touch the masterpieces and knew them to be of wood. It was nothing like she had seen before and it wasn't as baffling as it was awing.

"You've made all of these yourself? They are beyond words. The time and effort given to each piece, you must love your craft like a father to his children to put so much of yourself into it all."

She walked around to a table and trailed her fingers over the surface, her nose wrinkling only slightly at the feeling of the dust before the calm beautiful mask returned with a simple expression of curiosity. She looked up at him politely and smiled in such a way that one wouldn't really call it a smile. Just a slight upturning of the lips corners that didn't reach her eyes but gave the illusion of great caring about whatever it was that she had spoken of.

Shogun Midori Hana

Peering back as she was finishing up their little chatter, between Masao and Hana, Midori Hana noticed a cloaked figure scuttling along. “Teido,” Hana questioned herself out loud, “What a coincidence for you to arrive in the light of the Shogun,” she chuckled turning around to face the cloaked figure. “Please. Join my presence. I was just about to go for an early stroll in the Empire with Masao and a few guards.” She mentioned her words to Midori Teido as to see if he would join them, also to make sure the cloak figure would answer so that she knew it was him and not some assassin aimlessly walking around.

Midori Hana seemed to feeling rather energetic during this early day, but she had wondered when such good qualities of a rising light would befall to hovering darkness of every night sky soon to come. It was not about a dislike of the following evening, but more of anticipation to the dangers that always could lurk within shadows, in which Hana always did love to do a bit of a quick travel in the late hours. Shadow travel was always something honored to have knowledge of, and uses such ability as much as possible. Instantaneous travel through the dark realms, and the dark, night sky allowed such abilities to flourish to the fullest.

Of course thinking about her favorite spot to relax, back during her childhood years, it reminded Hana several times the dangers of living and surviving, as well as the times she had spent with her vampiric friend. Some days were dangerous, others were insightful. In the end Good decisions are made from bad ones, and she had learned from her father’s various bad decisions with access to the family library.

Daichi Katsuo

Acknowledging her words, Katsuo answered the young girl whom seemed to show a great aspiring liking to the creations before her, “Yes these works are all originally my own.” Saying with that reply, he also realized the fact that he was like a father. “The fact of being a father to my craft I will take that as a brilliant comment,” Katsuo smiled accepting her words of kindness, but did they seem almost too kind? Complete strangers in Katsuo’s life were never kind in their words spoken, except for the few that showed him the way and raising Katsuo.

Daichi Katsuo took notice of his visitors’ drinks and made sure that being a host for them was not slacking. Presentations were always hard to create or even do for a stranger he knew nothing of, but Katsuo never backs down from a good first impression and working as a carpenter allowed brilliant methods. He took a few steps himself out into the art-filled area feeling the soft, grassy ground beneath him, as well as taking sips of the warm tea. “Please do take a look around, anything that may like here I will offer a good number, but as far as carrying such large scaled creations you will definitely need help,” Mentioning to his customers as a small precaution.

No matter how Amaya looked at this stranger, he felt so familiar to her. She couldn’t quite put her finger on why he looked familiar but it wasn’t so much his look but rather his feeling. Trying to dismiss the feeling, Amaya looked towards the fire acting as if she didn’t care about her companion more than just a random stranger sitting besides her. There was something about those markings on his face though. That Fox God seemed to have similar markings, but were they the same? In all honesty, Amaya really had the worst sort of memory.

Next thing she knew, the man popped up saying something could make the meal better, and then returned a few minutes later with branches. Shifting slightly so she was sitting with her legs crossed in front of her, Amaya watched as the man put the wood into the fire and then explained it would give the food a richer taste. In all honesty, she hadn’t thought about that. She knew herbs and other things came from the forest and made food taste better, but she wouldn’t know what to look for so she usually attempted to avoid eating meat she personally cooks out in the wilderness. However who could deny such a generous gift from a Fox God?

”Ah, thank you…” she said, making sure not to allow her pleasure become too evident on her face. She really was thankful but not every man ended up bouncing for joy when they’re given such a small thing to make their food taste better, therefore Amaya avoided showing all her overflowing emotions she felt whenever anything went in her favor and merely smiled slightly with a nod as her eyes burned with passion she was unable to hide. This man, had helped her in so many ways already. With him eating with her she would no longer have to worry about the generous gift from the Fox God being wasted, and he also helped her to make the food taste better. The more she thought about her good luck, the more Amaya’s seduction powers started to emanate from her body. She really wasn’t paying attention, however thanks to her good mood and happiness she tried to hide from the man, her powers of seduction started to reach forward and try to ensnare this stranger despite her consent. It happened from time to time whenever Amaya wasn’t paying close enough attention.

”Oh yeah. I’m heading that direction…” was that her final destination? In a way. If the person in charge there was the person she was looking to kill, she would get her job done quickly and be finished with this quest of hers. However if it wasn’t the person, she would continue along her ‘merry way’ towards the next town in search of those who prayed on the weak and killed people like her family. She would probably stay here a week to get information and see if anyone needs a man for hire as well. She needed money and food to continue on anyways. ”and you? Is that your destination?”

Smiled brightly, and humbly bowed his head in response to the cross-dresser's thanks. It was really no trouble for him to give a bit of improvement, after all it was partly his meal as well. "Think nothing of it! If one does not share their wisdom for others then it is the end of knowledge. Can't be having that now can we? I learned it from the elder, and now you've learned it from me; who knows how far it can go if you continue to share the knowledge." He sat comfortably in the seiza position, letting his hands simply remain on his lap as he watched the fish for a moment as he talked, making sure they hadn't tilted to close to the flame. Turning his half open eyes up to the person before him, Yasei laughed brightly at the burning passion in the cross-dresser's eyes. "Well now, I'm guessing you don't get treats like this often, hm?" He laughed again, reaching down to one of the sticks as he caught wind of something.

There was a certain...perfume...to air that didn't come from the wood or the fish. His grinning face became stern as he looked at the cross-dresser, making a few rather obvious sniffing noises. "There's a woman in the area...Maybe we'll get lucky and she'll come our way." he picked the stick out of the ground, his emerald eyes flashing with wild amusement that might have let on that he knew something just a little more than he was saying. Sitting back he put the fish to his face to be rid of the alluring scent that could really only be coming from the cross-dressing woman before him; biting into the fish's crispy scales a thoughtful look replaced all the others before he tore off the chunk to chew slowly. "All done~! He swallowed happily before tearing another chunk of the hickory flavored fish off.

After a moment, the shifted kitsune paused his eating to sigh. "Yes, but I doubt it's my last stop. I'm sort of wandering from place to place really; there are towns that are oppressed by the officials that feel they are entitled to the earnings the people work so hard to make." He took another chunk out of the fish, knowing full well that he'd probably be laughed at; after all he was keeping himself from really feeling like any sort of threat and even pass himself off as a weakling. It was thanks to his Sensei, may he rest in peace, that Yasei would even be able to continue his journey through life. "My village was pretty small," He didn't really feel that the history lesson was needed but it was often the questions that arose after his prior statement that he was so used to answering he talked on reflex now. "Just a rice farming village in the mountains really. During the summer the sun was always on the village the whole day, it was great as a kid, but eventually the government came in and claimed we were harboring traitors of the country. No one survived that I know of, and even I 'died' in the rice patties while hiding." He wasn't about to explain that he was sickly, he had become stronger; no longer the weak runt that he'd been birthed as. "All because we kept to ourselves." He sighed and shook his head with a shrug as if to say 'oh well'.

Yasei finished off the rest of his fish, even sucking out the cooked eyeballs of the thing. In a matter of minutes the thing was nothing at all but bones on a stick right down to the fins. Even with his talking it hadn't taken away from his appetite at all as he reached for a second fish with a happy hum.

Blue Miller: And Elise, remember; we're naught but harmless nutjobs. Minus Kira. He will actually attempt to cut off your face.
