Yes Country #226#	Destiny did notice the wind blowing through the autumn leaves. It must be chilly. David seemed really interested in her artwork. "Sure, but they really aren't that good." Destiny reached into her bag and pulled out her sketchpad then offered it to him to look at. Destiny slightly eased away when David came closer, she didn't want to risk the chance of them accidently touching. " I don't really have a preference. Sure." Destiny reached for his iPod and was careful not to touch him. Wow these iPod have really evolved. David was a nice guy, and really cute. It was going to hurt, both of them, when he found out that she wasn't alive. But Des understood that this, was not the time.

He couldn't draw like that if his life depended on it. Realizing his little outburst could have been misinterpreted, he decided to clarify, "I'm sorry. Just, if these aren't very good, then I must be a terrible artist." He smiled at her and went back to looking through the drawings. Once he finished, he placed the sketchbook beside him and looked up at Destiny checking out his iPod. "Find anything you like? I have a few game apps and a bunch of pictures too. Mostly funny stuff. I enjoy a good laugh. Helps relieve stress and all that, ya know?"

Do you think you could draw me some time?" He asked. The mention of Metallica turned his smile into a grin. "You do, huh? What's your favorite? I'm partial to 'Sad but True,' myself." He sighed and looked away for a moment before he answered. "Honestly, this is the most I have done in a while. With Dad away so often, I kind of have to keep an eye on the house. Whenever I have free time or things aren't so busy, I usually listen to music and read, play a couple of video-games, or go on walks," 'With cute girls too, apparently,' he added to himself.

He handed Destiny's sketchbook back to her and asked, "Do you plan on doing anything in art? Like, for a career?" She had seemed to be thinking about something, and it didn't seem all too good. So, he thought he would try distracting her from it.

The choice was kind of hard, but to put no thought into it what-so-ever was not a good idea. He smiled at her question and gave her a shrug. "I'm not very good at staying still, so I would need a job where I can move around. I was thinking of maybe doing something in engineering. Building things or even taking them apart is a hobby of mine. It would be lovely to do that more often and get paid to do it."

Yes Country #226#	Destiny could tell he had a passion for what he was talking about. There was a pull that she felt towards him, she wanted to get to know him more, she wanted to tell him everything. Maybe it was because of what is happening, but who knows. She turned her gaze to look out at the ocean and the sandy beach below. The sun was spraying beautiful colors across the sky as it sank below the ocean horizon. It was gorgeous. Destiny looked at David wondering if he needs to be getting back home, and what he thought of the sunset. "Its gorgeous, don't you think? She directed her attention back to the wonderful landscape in front of her.

She pointed out the sunset, and David checked it out. It truly was beautiful. He sighed in content and leaned against a tree to relax. "Indeed... You watch the sunset often?" He realized it was getting late, but he didn't want to go. Having to go would mean responsibilities again. He couldn't have anymore fun.

I have been kinda neglectful to my bro for a while. Maybe we can hang out there sometime? I'm sure we have some movies you like. He never wants to do anything but watch movies." He would think his brother was crazy. Destiny would just try and avoid that part of the question. She saw the love he had for his brother. When your a ghost you seem to read people more easily, their emotions anyways. Doesn't Everyone? Hell, she even over-thinks way to much. especially right now. How the hell could he see her and hear her. This was going to a challenge and she hated lying.

However, he recalled how any attempt to touch her resulted in rejection and any close proximity prompted her to be careful. He pulled his hand back and decided to just motion with his head that he was going. Maybe subconsciously wanting to show off, he decided to climb over various trees and branches rather than walking the clear path. He ended up in branches quite a way from the ground multiple times. While climbing, he figured he would try and get some questions answered. "Are you germophobic or something? I don't see you meticulously cleaning or anything, but you don't like touching people...or at least me. It's not me is it?" He worried a little over that. Did he stink or something?

She noticed that he wanted to touch her hand as his hand slowely started to reach for hers. Just as was about to pull back the hand retreated back to his own body. David must have felt her uneasiness. She couldn't let him touch her, it would ruin everything. She couldn't loose the only person who could hear her and see her. David then went of to climb the tree, she just continue following on the path. He must have noticed before because his questions were directly toward that. What was she going to say? She couldn't tell her that she was dead. Ad if she told him that she was a germaphobic then when she would be able to touch him, and wanted to, he would just ask more questions. "It's not you, it's just...... complicated."[\b] She wanted to. But she wasn't ready and either was he.

"You never told me if would draw me. I can be a good model." After saying this, he hung upside-down on a branch and struck a pose to "show off" his muscles. This was just him being silly because he was lean but not really muscular. Trying to right himself, he managed to fall on his head. "Ugh..." he started and rubbed his head, "Note to self, do that again and I may punch you in the face."

It reminded her that he was still alive and that he could get hurt, unlike her. Destiny watched him with great caution. When he said ow, she started to reach out to him and got almost too close; however, she quickly realized and pulled back crossing her arms. There wad nothing Destiny could do to help him. She couldn't help steady him as they walked because he couldn't touch him. She couldn't go get someone to help him, because he was the only one who could see her, let alone hear her. The only thing she could possible do is try and find some ice, which would be impossible to find because they were in the woods and she was a ghost. Destiny sighed. " Do you want some water?"

"Man, I just can't catch a break," he mumbled to himself. Destiny seemed flustered and maybe a little thoughtful or confused and he pondered what could be going through her mind. It couldn't be that important, he was mainly dizzy and sore. Nothing that she should worry about. When asked if he wanted water, he nodded and smiled. "Yes, please. That might help." He slid down and sat. 'Man, I'm going to be late. Dad will probably be home before me.'

He thanked Destiny for the water and took a small swig. It didn't really help much. He said a quick curse and handed the bottle back. His head had just leaned back against the tree when Destiny thought of calling someone. He nodded and pulled out his cell phone. He was still disoriented and had no luck trying to get the right number. "Could you do it? Just push the 'down' button until you see 'Jordan' and click call." He held his phone out to her. He would have said his dad, but he didn't think he could do that right now.

The first few rings made him think otherwise, but thankfully Jordan's voice came from the other line. *"What do ya want?"* He sighed with relief and smiled. "Hey, bro. Mind doing me a favor?" His brother hesitated, but ventured to ask, "What is it?" "Is Dad there?" "Not yet, why?" "I need you to come help me. Bring a bag of ice. I hit my head pretty good." "Smooth one. Alright, I'll get it. Where are you and do you sound so far away?" "I'm not too far. Just start going the woods." With that, David hung up and took the phone back. He didn't feel like explaining Destiny. "Thanks for that. Shall we move closer so he doesn't get lost?"

Yes Country #226#	Destiny tried not to listen to the conversation so when they were done on the phone she stood up. Ya, we can. destiny wanted to help him up but she couldn't touch him , so she found him a stick to help him. Then the realization hit her. David's brother was coming. To get him. Jordan wouldn't be able to see her. Shit! What was she going to do? Destiny couldn't well just leave David alone. But she also couldn't let Jordan not see her and have David appear crazy. However, he did bonk his head, Jordan could just think of it as a side-affect. All that was left to do was to help David to the meeting spot and pray that Jordyn doesn't walk through her, reveal that she is a ghost to David. She isn't ready and neither is he.
