Bryan noticed that the man on the bike signaled them to stop, Fang noticing Bryan he stopped too. Bryan walked up to the man and asked quietly "What's going on?" the man quickly whispered "We have two people in the gun shop, and were not sure if they are hostile or not" Bryan thought to himself: I wonder what these people are up too, were they thieves? zombies? who knew. He knew the group had two choices, to either wait and see what happens or go in the shop. Bryan was always patient but for some reason he had to urge to run in, but that was not his decision to make he's with a group now the first time hes ever been in one. He's not about to mess it up |

"Mother fuck! Get in here! It's not like I'm eating brains people!" Duke was getting impatient. Duke was rather getting impatient and perturbed. Not his most favorite combination of feelings, but still not the worst. Still, these people were just sitting about outside, taking their sweet time. Duke knew what was up. There were zombies on the prowl, and he wasn't about to be no entree. "Son of a bitch." Duke cleared the way for them to come in, pumping round after round to form a 20 foot perimeter around the gun shop's door way. It didn't look to be the most secure place, from what he could tell, but hey, it was better'n being on the street where all the nasties could just gobble your brain at will. Which they were. Tons of bitches were getting eaten. It was like Thanksgiving at his Aunt Juniper's house, only there wasn't no gravy on these turkeys. It was a slaughter, and the sooner those mother fuckers got inside, the sooner Duke could see about getting the hell out of here. It wasn't that he was incapable of moving by himself. But if he knew one thing from his day on the streets it was that you always move with people if you can help it. And he could most certainly help it. "Come on! Move damnit!" |

Aaron stood up and holstered his weapon. As he did the Man who yelled at them and told them to get inside, stepped a few steps outside of the shop door taking shots at the Hordes of Dead people. "Well least we have someone with a no nonsense attitude.."He chuckled at the man guarding the front door before walking inside the gun shop.He looks back at the group."Let's Grab what we can.Though we can't sit and chat since those Zombies are growing in numbers.I suspect the Military is being overrun as we speak,Once we have as many weapon's as possible I think we should move to my Mansion in the outskirts of the city.."He spoke to them if they agree we would need a few vehicles.. |

"Come on now. We are almost there," Howard urged. He saw the gun shop not to far from them. A few zombies had been shot, but more were coming. Stealth was blown out of the water due to the loud shotgun, so he took out the pistol he stole from the downed cop and shot until it was empty. "Please! Help us! We just want out of this place. My wife is pregnant; I can't look after her myself," he pleaded to the big man with a shotgun. He didn't want to rush by him because he wasn't sure if the gun was reserved for the now-cannibals or if anyone was game. "Please, we just need weapons and protection," he tried again. Right now he felt useless. He was no fighter, in any sense of the word, and right now that's what his beloved needed. |

"Mother fuck! Get in here! It's not like I'm eating brains people!" Alexa's head followed the man as he stormed out towards the group of people outside the gunshop. Their short altercation was over and Alexa decided that him and the group outside were still human. No human would wait around to gauge the situation if they were already infected. She noted the big man's aura and smiled; he reminded her of someone she knew, if not a little bit more aggressive. Alexa put her gun back in the holster around her waist just as rounds of shotgun bullets were being fired. She approached the body of the gun shop owner. She squatted near the body to close his eyes that were wide open in shock. You probably didn't see it coming..rest in peace, Billy. Alexa stood up and glimpsed towards the entrance as people started entering the shop. She noted the first person that entered, he seemingly taking the mantle of leader for the group. She turned her attention towards finding ammo for her weapon. Introductions could wait until she was fully equipped. "Let's grab what we can. Though we can't sit and chat since those Zombies are growing in numbers. I suspect the Military is being overrun as we speak. Once we have as many weapon's as possible I think we should move to my Mansion in the outskirts of the city.." Hm.. Alexa paid attention to what the man was saying as she gathered ammo for her pistol. She took 3 clips for her sling holster and replaced the one in her gun. She had one more empty slot but decided to take a clip for a bigger weapon. She worked better in close quarter combat but she figured that having a weapon with a further range would benefit her, especially when she wasn't planning on getting up close with the zombies. At least not yet. She headed towards the back, looking through the inbuilt armory that stocked extra ammo and equipment. Like almost every gun shop owner in history, a lot of the better stuff was hidden in the back. It took several minutes but she eventually found it. There was a smaller array of weaponry. Alexa noted that two of them weren't even meant for civilian use. She cocked her head and smirked. Billy, you bastard. She checked the magazine on both HK416 assault rifles before taking a magazine and putting it in her holster. She slung the straps of both rifles around her shoulder and grabbed two magazines in her hands. She went back towards the main part of the shop and put the magazines and one of the guns on the counter. She looked at the group inside. "Anybody else know how to use this gun?" As she waited for a response, she looked outside to see a young couple joining the group. The wife was a few months pregnant and Alexa decided that she'd do what she can to keep the woman and her unborn child safe. Edited by Anamnesis, August 30, 2011, 9:50 am.

Fox had a good look at the gun shop. It was the ordinary one, as it was expected to be. Guns and ammo. Nothing more, nothing else. It seemed that the shopkeeper was dead. Woman came from the back of the shop, carrying a gun. "Anybody else know how to use this gun?" she asked. Hm... "HK416? I have a minor experience with this kind of weapons. Didn't really needed them. I'll take a revolver and ammo for it and my gun." He turned to the soldier. "You want it?" |

"Then get inside, fool. We're loading up and running guns here. Your wife is in good hands." He stepped around them into the street, continuing his rampage against the onslaught of brain munchers and holding them off from entering. "Ain't no way they're getting past me. She good." He motioned for the couple to go inside, taking aim at a particularly nasty zombie that looked like she could have been a soccer mom or something. He blew it's head off. Duke heard during reload that they were looking for transport. "I don't know if ya'll can drive a bus or not, but I'm betting that is gonna be our best on gettin' out of here." He motioned a bit down the street. A school bus sat idling on the side of the road. There were a few other vans around there, here and there, but nothing with the oomph and security a large yellow bus could provide. Then again, Duke wasn't exactly focused on finding good transportation. Currently he was preoccupied with bashing the butt of his shotgun into the face of a grand daddy zombie who seemed, in more ways than one, just not want to die. Duke put two rounds in his head. "Sorry old man, you ain't gettin' my brains." In a way, it was a quiet relief for Duke to be able to do this. His fights hadn't been nearly as fulfilling recently and it brought him back to his times on the streets. Gangs were something he was not a fan of, but the violence somehow suited him. He wasn't afraid of it, and knowing that this sort was relatively harmless as well as contributing to the well being of several others in the immediate vicinity felt more satisfying than really anything he could remember. "I could get used to this shit," he whispered to himself, pumping rounds into a group of what appeared to be zombie Asian tourists. |

Howard could have wept from gratitude. "Thank you, thank you!" He hurriedly pulled his wife inside after him. It seemed that quite a group had gathered around. Most of the others looked like they knew what they were doing though. It seemed like the man at the front was right. They were in good hands. He was nervous though. Howard hoped he could hold his own weight around here so that they wouldn't just leave them to die somewhere. Better start by getting ammo and a gun for his wife. She was fine with a bat for a while, but he had a feeling things would go way beyond a simple bat holding these things off. Surprisingly, his wife stepped up. "My dear husband and I need weapons and ammo. Nothing too fancy. Maybe just something that has good aim and can keep those monsters off our asses," she announced. Howard wasn't sure if it was the pregnant hormones or what, but he was rather impressed by the display. He spotted some sort of vest that had pockets for ammo clips and he went over to it. The vest could come in handy if for nothing else than the pockets. He pulled it down and unbuckled a few parts; he had no idea how to put it on. "Could I have some help?" he asked a little hesitantly. |

Carver nodded when the guy told her his name. But then her focus turned back to the people inside the shop. As the rest of the group neared the building, she didn't want to draw a lot of attention in case something serious was going down inside. Unfortunately, they were spotted as soon as the rest joined them. A large, intimidating man yelled for them to enter. Carver wasn't one to scare easily, especially because of the people she had dealt with due to work, but this man just gave off a larger than life vibe. She followed the others inside. As she walked, Carver put her gun back in its place. The shop was quiet and felt like a safe haven for the moment. A few milled about the shop and others spoke to each other. She kept to herself. She walked through the few aisles the store had to look for ammunition for her current weapon. She was happy with her handgun and didn't want anything big to lug around or anything with too much kick. She may look and act tough, but she was still a rather small woman. Two others rushed inside, a man and a woman who happened to be his pregnant wife. Carver froze when they came in. Their sudden appearance had activated her already alert senses. She had to convince herself to calm down. As she came back to normal, her eyes spotted the shelf with ammo specifically for her gun. "Yes!" she said to herself. She took two boxes off the shelf. She reloaded her gun from the shot she fired earlier and shoved the rest into the pockets of her jacket. Then a few gunshots went off. It seemed the large man who was originally in the shop was outside now, shooting off rounds at the groups coming toward the shop. She stood near the door but looked through the side windows from inside. "A bus could work," Carver said to him. She flinched when he shot again. The sound was very loud at close range. "Isn't that going to attract more of them? The gunshots, loud noises, I mean," she asked. She shoved her hands into her jean's pockets and watched the zombies roaming in the streets instead of the man with the shotgun. |

"Isn't that going to attract more of them? The gunshots, loud noises, I mean."He heard Carver Mention that he agreed that they would flock to sound,He put that thought aside and grabbed a ammo box for his handgun and placed it inside his cache case.He then looked around the store real quick to find a weapon with a little more umph.He find's another Shotgun on the bottom of the shelf. It has a scope and looked like it was being hidden He grabbed a box of shells and a plastic bag placing the shells inside of it to make it easier to carry. "A bus sounds good, once you guy's have your ammo get to that bus and once inside honk the horn and I'll lead you all to my mansion. It's very secured and these bastards won't get in so easy."He said to everyone in the room before walking outside and hoping on his bike.As he waits he notices more of the zombies coming from the museum even odder some of them don't even bother to go around the cars or avoid the flames on the streets which slowly kills them. Alexa looked at the older man as he replied her question. Alexa immediately took in his presence and zeroed in on the insignia on his jacket. She was wary but she didn't show it. Her thoughts went straight to whether she would reveal her occupation. The DIA and FBI weren't exactly known for their camaraderie with each other but her father was one exception. Having grown up following in his footsteps, Alexa had her fair share of good relations with a few FBI agents. "You want it?" Alexa looked at the other man. His height intimidated her slightly but what she noticed more was his athletic build and the sniper rifle that poked out from a bag behind him. She guessed that he was military and would have no need for an assualt rifle. She smirked. What were the odds that in a big city such as D.C, out of all the people that she could have been grouped in, that she'd find an FBI agent and a soldier. She spoke up. "Guess we'll be leaving this one here then. Especially if you're holding on to a rifle like that." Out of the corner of her eye she had spotted the married couple. The husband had grabbed a vest, a good choice, but it was obvious that he'd never had to use anything like that before. Alexa smiled slightly and looked back towards the two men. It was then that the 'leader' informed them of their immediate plan of action. "Right. Well I guess proper introductions can wait till we're in a safer place. I'm gonna go help out that couple. You both can help secure the perimeter?" Alexa left it as a suggestion and approached the couple. She gently took the vest from the husband. "Here, let me help you." Alexa helped the man put on the vest and pulled down another one for the wife. As she helped her put it on, Alexa smiled slightly. "I'm Alexa by the way. I'll help you both get on the bus outside." Alexa stepped back and looked at the pistol the man had on him. She moved away, only to come back with another pistol and several clips of ammo. She rested the equipment on a nearby table. She loaded the extra pistol she had and checked the gun before showing how to use it to the wife. "It's a pretty simple gun that you just point and shoot but it's got a powerful kick to it and the range's pretty good. To reload, just press the button here and the clip will pop out. Just slip a new clip in till it clicks in place then slide this back to use the gun. The slide lock here just ensures that it doesn't go off when you don't need it. Push it down to use the gun." She passed the gun to her and stacked the relevant ammo in a neat pile closest to her. Alexa looked at the husband and held out a different clip for the one he had on him. "Why don't you try reloading that gun yourself? It's pretty much similar to the gun I just gave your wife so it works the same way." |

"Lady, we either keep making noise and pumping rounds or we get to be silent for ever after." Duke splattered one in the chest, a loud scream emanating from it's throat as he shoved the butt of the rifle to knock it down, swing it around, and then put another slug in its head. He turned to look at the woman. "Which you think we should do?" Duke retreated a bit for a moment to reload. It looked like these people were pretty self-organizing, and as far as he was concerned the less he had to look out for bitches the more time he could properly devote to taking down the nasty brain lickers. It was a good trade off. Some guy hoped on a bike. He seemed to know where it was at. "All right, everyone coming to the bus come with me, just let me know when ya'll ready and then we can really start this show." |

Now things were looking up. The group didn't seem to mind the two and one was even offering aid. Howard smiled at her and shifted the vest around a little to make it more comfortable. Things were so much simpler when all you had to do was set things up and watch it go boom. He sighed and made sure his wife was doing fine. All of this running around could not be good on her. She was already looking kind of pale. "How are you holding up? The vest isn't too tight is it?" "No, Howard. Everything is fine. Don't worry so much. I just need to get somewhere calm for a bit." She always did keep her head while Howard lost his. They smiled to each other and gave the other a quick peck on the lips. Needing all the help he could get, Howard watched the woman demonstrate how to use the pistol to his wife. It didn't seem too hard. He just had to remember the kick. That might explain the terrible aim. He was brought out of his thoughts by the woman handing him a clip and ordering him to change them. He realized he would need to know how to anyway, so he dropped the used clip and slapped in the new one. It was really simple. He shrugged and threw a couple more clips into his vest's pockets. "Honey, keep your gun out just in case, but try not to shoot unless absolutely necessary." He didn't want her having to worry too much. He would keep her safe. "Alright, we're ready." |

Carver fought the urge to sigh at the man's response. That and he shot off more rounds. She felt that the more he shot into the masses, the more likely they were to come after them in the shop. It wouldn't leave them much space to get to the bus if that was to be their escape route. She sighed lightly and walked away from the glass. She looked back at the others who were still milling about the shop or those testing out their new weapons. She shoved a hand into her pocket to try to fight the urge to grab her own gun. All of these guns in novices hands made her more nervous than the times she would enter the drug dens where people were strung out and probably packing heat. The large man finished shooting at the zombies and announced something about leaving for the bus. Carver made her way back to the front door. Aaron was already outside on his bike. She stood near him and watched at the zombies and minors fires spread. "This was too fast," she said in a low voice to no one in particular. |

Aaron looks as more Zombies come at them,He keeps staring at them intently studying their movement."Look's like they have limited Vision, weak against fire, obviously stupid since they can't even walk around a car.."He noticed that Carver came outside and stood by him."Want another Ride or would you rather ride in the bus with mr.Gun Hoe over there."He asked her jokingly.Even though there were Zombies about it seemed like the way to his home was clear since the Zombies haven't spread that far just yet. As he looked back to the man firing wildly at the horde it was getting bigger. It was time to get moving,He turns to the Gunstore and Yells at the others still gathering equipment."HEY!!We need to get moving they're growing in numbers this guy won't be able to hold them off forever with a shotgun!!Finish up and get in the bus before its too late!!"He rev's up the bike swinging it around to face the horde. He then takes the shotgun he took from the shop and aimed the scope at the horde ready to give support fire to the others for when they try to get inside the bus. ((OOC:Figured it was time to get moving.)) |

"Alright, we're ready." Alexa nodded. "Then let's go while it's still remotely safe." Alexa took the lead, heading towards the door. She peeked out the door to quickly assess the situation then turned towards the FBI agent and soldier. "Can you guys support? I'll take point but I'll need someone else to cover them and hotwire that bus." Alexa flicked her head outside. "That guy will probably need support getting to the bus later too." She turned back to the husband, recalling his name after his wife had talked to him. "Howard, right? We'll need to move quickly so it's better you helped your wife get to that bus. We'll make sure the path's clear for you." "HEY!!We need to get moving they're growing in numbers this guy won't be able to hold them off forever with a shotgun!!Finish up and get in the bus before its too late!!" Alexa gave the couple a reassuring smile before taking the assault rifle off her shoulder and placing it infront of her, ready to shoot. She stepped out of the gun shop next to the lady that was out there, looked at the two men shooting down the zombies and turned towards the other direction, starting to make her way towards the bus. ((OOC: Input where you think is necessary. I'll leave how Alexa gets to that bus to whoever posts next ))

Fox was looking around for some sort of revolver. Since this was a gun shop, he was bound to find at least one, which he did, along with its assossiated cartridges. It was Smith & Wesson Model 29, loadable with up to six .44 Magnum cartridges. Strong knockback, caused by its big force. Excellent for blowing up some zombie heads at small to medium range. He loaded it and put it with activated protection in his pocket. Fox heard a woman asking him and a soldier to be their support. "Sure, I can do that. No, wait..." Something wasn't right. "Why should you be taking the point? Unless you have the proper training, I cannot allow you to lead the way. Two of us are better trained for that." He didn't mind someone else risking their lives, but it was him that had to explain to his bosses why he decided to sacrifice a civilian's life for his own safety. |

Some people were still looking around while others seemed ready to go. One man was on a motorcycle, not a very smart move in Howard's opinion, and a couple of others were already getting set to move out. His wife seemed ready. He had plenty of ammo for his gun. All the other guns were a bit complicated for his tastes. With a shrug, he gathered his wife and moved to the woman that was offering to escort them. When she asked his name, he replied with a nod and listened to what she had to say. The plan seemed decent and he had no problem with it, but some other guy chimed in with a reason he didn't like it. Things were going a bit slowly though. He just hoped it was resolved soon. However, it would be wiser if someone with more experience was the "main" protector. Howard didn't really know what was going on. He was content letting everyone else go ahead and plan for fighting and what-not. Just about everyone in here seemed like they knew their way around a gun, so he decided to let them make the decisions. |

Some chick started outside with an assault rifle. She looked hot and ready to handle anything. Duke could dig that. "Let's do it, baby!" He charged forward, ahead of the woman, ahead of the entire group, and began blazing a path in the opposite direction from the bus. "Get over to the bus as fast as you can! I'll lead 'em away!" he called to the group still lingering at the door of the gun shop. Duke was tired of this inaction. He was ready for some activity. He was strapped with ammo from the gun shop and making as much noise as he could. The zombies seemed to follow him for the most part, as he was by far the largest and loudest meal currently in the area. Drawing them away from the group, he made sure to not run too far out of the way from the bus. Several of them lunged at him and, with the practiced dodge of a fighter, he sidestepped them and swung his shotgun at their heads like a baseball bat. "Yeah! WHOO! Bring it on, sucka! This my kinda shit!" He loved the brawl. He used his weapon more as a blunt object than shotgun, only firing off a round when they got too close and too many. He stood there, away from the bus, waiting for the moment when they would make it there and they could all get away from this. |

Carver nodded in response to Aaron's comments on the zombies themselves. She had noticed little bits of their abilities. They were slow and none were heading toward them except when a gun was fired or the motorcycle's engine revved up. She reached back and pulled her gun out. She readied it in case she needed to fire it but she wanted to use it as little as possible. Aaron offered her another ride when the large man who had been firing off his mouth and weapon was getting excited to head out. Some of the zombies were starting to come near them. The motorcycle moved and Aaron turned it to face the group. He said the same thing of getting a move on. "Give me a ride," Carver said. She took two steps forward and saw a zombie coming up by the rear tire of the motorcycle. She raised her weapon and shot off a round. The bullet hit the dressed up man in the cheek. It knocked him off balance. She shot off one more round, aiming at the man's knee. It worked and he went down. She went over to the motorcycle and climbed on the back. She slid the gun back into its spot so as not to shoot herself or Aaron. She grabbed onto him life she had before. "Let's get out of here before he gets back up," she looked back and saw the zombie was reaching up for the wheel. |

Carver answered Aaron's question and responded "Give me a ride."He smirked of course,he enjoyed having her on the back as support should we need to stop and clear any zombies out but his thought was interrupted when she shot a zombie who approached from behind him."Damn...They're already this far..."He said as the zombie hit the ground. After which Carver hopped onto the bike and held onto Aaron's sides he looked back as she said "Let's get out of here, before he gets back up."it was too late for that Aaron saw that the zombie was still moving and trying to grab at the wheel,he swung the shotgun he took from the shop down stopping at its ugly head which had a hole in his cheek from Carvers gun,he pulled the trigger blowing off the top of its head its arm fell to the ground."Damn..Cockroaches.."He grumbled re aiming it at the horde of undead approaching. "Seriously!! We need to move now!!" He Honked the bikes horn hurriedly to warn the others and revved the bike once more if he had to he may have to leave them behind. Bryan's Character Bryan heard the young girl at the door ask. "Can you guys support? I'll take point but I'll need someone else to cover them and hotwire that bus." "Uhh sure..No problem.."He spoke his mind somewhere else.He heard the FBI agent speak aloud "Why should you be taking the point? Unless you have the proper training, I cannot allow you to lead the way. Two of us are better trained for that."The man spoke in protest. "We don't have time to worry about that,we need to move while we can just let her do it."He said loudly and to the point. He then stood behind the couple and the FBI agent waiting on them to move. ((OOC:He'll get separated once we move)) |

"We don't have time to worry about that,we need to move while we can just let her do it." man said. "Do you mind if we do it together?" Fox replied, loading his newly found revolver with bullets. He then activated its safety mechanism and put it in his pocket. I don't want it to accidentally blow my foot off. Fox exited the gun shop, holding his Glock 23 in his left hand and looking for... something. A horn was heard. "Seriously!! We need to move now!!" "Are you INSANE? You can't go around horning during the zombie apocalypse!" He readied his gun for firing, awaiting zombie attack wave. |

Alexa's face looked blank but a small smile tugged on her lips that disappeared as soon as it came. The FBI Agent had made a valid point in questioning her ability but she wasn't fazed. She was used to older agents not taking her seriously but she gave him the benefit of the doubt because he didn't know her identity yet. She was about to respond when the soldier interjected that they didn't have time to bicker. She just looked at the FBI agent and awaited a response. "Do you mind if we do it together?" Alexa nodded. "Sure." She lifted up her rifle and pointed it outward. She cast a glance towards the couple and nodded to them, signifying that they were moving. The FBI Agent stepped out to stand next to her when the guy on the bike shouted "Seriously!! We need to move now!!". The FBI agent got a little agitated and Alexa noted that the horde was already close to them. She didn't leave any time to waste. "Let's go!" Alexa started to run towards the bus. The zombie horde that was coming toward them mostly came from the other direction but there were some in her direction. She shot the zombies that were approaching her with a precision of a sharpshooter, not wasting her bullets unnecessarily until she managed to get to the vicinity of the bus. She stood near the front of the bus, keeping point in case any zombies were heading towards them from that direction. Seeing as the FBI Agent was next to her, she nodded towards the door. "That bus is all yours." Alexa couldn't hotwire it so she'd have to depend on the older man. She cast another glance at the couple behind them, the soldier that had faced the opposite direction to provide support and the group of people near the shop. The zombie horde was increasing by the second. The two things that were critical at this point was getting the bus to move and for the big guy with the shotgun to get on the bus. Alexa took a deep breath that focused her attention to the front. She would have faith that this collection of strangers would do their part if they wanted to survive. |

Okay, now things were hectic. The big man seemed to have a death wish. He ran off to distract the zombies. Howard did admire his willingness to risk his life for strangers, however. Everyone seemed to be spurred into action, and Howard and his wife figured it was about time they got moving. Several factors helped lessen the wave of zombies as they made their way to the bus. The motorcycle definitely got some attention, and the big guy did as well. Sure, not all of the zombies were going after those two. Many of them noticed there was more non-infected heading for the bus and decided to come after them. Sadly, Howard and his wife were not great shots. If it wasn't for the fact that they at least hit and slowed them zombies down, they might as well have not shot at all. The numbers weren't thinning; they were just slowing down. At the bus, Howard ushered his wife in and jumped in himself. All they needed was for someone to hotwire the bus or something. Howard almost opened the back door to draw some attention there with a few explosives. However, a memory from his childhood reminded him the opening the back door makes the bus alarm go off. That would draw attention to the bus instead of drawing them away from the front like he wanted. He sighed and sat with his wife. There wasn't really anything they could do right now. |
