Story
In the future it is common knowledge that the universe is made up and held together by Celestial energy, and throughout the universe there are jet streams of this energy, the Celestial gateways are constructs that funnel and redirect the jet streams, manipulating them to be used as a safe and fast way to travel through out the universe. It is said that the technology was used by an ancient race that has sense faded from existence, yet their technology has never been replicated and so many races in the universe battle and war over the control of these Celestial Gate ways.
One Celestial gateway in particular; the Seco Gateways or SGW is the central gateways that divides many of the territories along with controlling all central trade routes. For centuries nation after nation would war over these central points, yet it wasn’t until the Corpex Corporation bought the SGW’s and maintained control that peace settled. Order was issued based on an annual tournament that gave anyone a chance to control the SGW’s, Corpex made a profit off the tournament, kept the rights to the SGW’s and took 10% of the gross amount, yet still millions of nations attempted to get a splice of the SGW’s.
The Tournament picked up fast with sponsors being privet corporations, or whole nations, the fighters being paid mercs, or slaves, whatever the case, BBT soon earned its place as the most anticipated game in history. Yet an odd unexpected twist to these tournaments is the battle orbs that always seem to find a host in these games.
Battle orbs are the outcast of monsters that once fought a war against the gods themselves, yet as punishment they were all sealed into orbs and scatter among the mortals. Orbs that contract with mortals, rewrite their entire genetic code to fuse with their own, the orb itself become the person central and most important component. With this mortals fused with orbs can possess the very powers of the gods, yet this has only helped to raise attention to the tournament.

Tournament Rules 1. Have fun, be creative, and inventive. 2. Expect to get hurt. This wont be a pleasure cruise. Your characters may even die before the end. Actually, I know they will. But don't fret, the completely sane medical agent is on stand by to return you back to top health or even improve on your original design. 3. Follow the fate your given by the judges, no crying if you lose. 4. Post up Profiles, and pray I'm in a good mood. 5. My word is law for all things, I'll write in red when putting up a new rule or changing a old one. 6. No using ~ or * for action or speech. Wright every thing out like a book. Third person preferable. 7. No chat speak. 8. Fighting is mandatory, try to kill off anything or one you want, hell, blow up a planet or two. 9. Matches shall be judged by the roar of the crowd, by the spectacle and creative flash of your combat prows. Not just brute force and smashing your opponent into the ground. That said, utterly decimating your opponent like a God crushing a ant works just as well for flash. Also note, unless the move is just so grandiose and magnificent that it's jaw dropping in ideal alone it wont score full points unless it works. 10. You will be on a team of two. You can choose said team mate long as it's mutual. If you don't you'll be placed by me. 11. Stick to your profile, brake this and you'll lose the current fight or be penalized* if out side a fight. 12. God-Modding and Over Powering will be over looked for the most part, hell, I expect it. And although not banned out right, do go easy on it. This is a "don't do it to much/often" rule. 13. Fights will consist of five 'rounds'. Meaning in a full two on two brawl the fight will last short of a full forum page. Posting order doesn't matter. Long as everyone in the fight has posted before the round moves, you get one post per round.
*A Penalty will generally mean losing a few points from your next fight, losing a power temperately, automatically forfeiting your next fight, or in the most server cases, death or worse yet, a total rehual by the good Docter. More may come if/as needed.

Profile Skeleton
Name:
Age:
Race: [only one human, first come first serve. If not said human, give a brief description of what you are. Your race's home planet{if they have one}, and any other info you like. The more you give here the more background I can explore for the RP and your character.]
Racial Skills: [this includes all racial powers, strengths, weakness, quirks, etc. Remember one thing, balance. Unless you come from a 'Death World' were everything is trying to kill said race off and they just adapted into total fucking bad-asses, chances are they wont be near indestructible. Once this is set, it is unchangeably. Unless the Doctor gets his han... err...claws on you. <.<]
Gender: [If it applies]
Orb Name: [or title.]
Orb's Power: [only one. Go into detail about it, being broad is fine if the power is broad, and creative thinking on the fly is cool too, but be prepared to back it up with your power's description and sane sound logic. Your powers must follow a rule/s basically. If you seem to go past what should be possible for your powers I will question you about it. Offer a valid reason for what you just did, and it'll be cool. Don't, and you we get a penalty. The same rule applies to me, don't understand how I did something, ask me to validate it.]
Bio: [short and sweet is fine, as is long and detailed. The more you give me to play with though, the more I can do with/for you.]
Personality: [same as before, just remember to stay in character please.]
Sponsor: [the planet or group your fighting for, why your fighting for them, and why they want the Gateway. Entering as your own sponsor is fine, but relies this would be a extremely costly adventure, so your pockets better be deep.
Weapon: [image in a spoiler box, or a paragraph. More is always fine.
Appearance: [image in a spoiler box, or a paragraph or two. More is always better.]
Accepted Profiles The Doctor[NPC , as played by Lock_Wolf]
Name: Dr. Moss, Azal'rada
Age: 672
Race: Elder, a race of semi-immortal anthropomorphic amphibious lizards. Home planet, Anntella, a tropical water world with no true dry land to speak of. Instead gigantic floating vegetation is used for a substitute for land. The planet is mostly that a peaceful island paradise, until the local wild life comes into play. What lives is like that of the dinosaur of our world, huge, massive beast of unprecedented speed, power, and killing potential covered from head to toe in thick armor plating hard as steel.
Racial Skills: Besides near immortality, Elders are covered from head to toe in scales harder and lighter than tituam, with claws and fangs hard as pure diamond. They can breathe both on land and in the water, have mild webbing between fingers and toes, and have a second pair of clear eye lids for underwater use. The Elders also have a highly carnivorous metabolism and regeneration system able to regrow any part of the body except the brain in a days’ time long as a sufficient source of intake is available[food]. Though do to this they have to eat a considerable amount multiple times a day or else their body will start to cannibalize itself. Due to an odd physical make up their bodies are also easily addicted to chocolate, once hooked it's near impossible to give up, and like any addition if you take it away the Elder in question will become near immediately aggressive, short tempered, frustrated, and stressed out. Moss is addicted.
Gender: Male
Orb Name: Athenaei Mentem
Orb's Power: Visual Learning, in short, once he has seen something he memorizes it, and knows how to perform the same action. This applies to anything. Powers included. After many years at BBT his list of learned powers is unfathomable.
Bio: Moss originally left his planet to broaden his horizon, wishing for nothing more than raw knowledge. And so he gained, spending countless years aboard ships, and around alien peoples. His inquisitive mind wanted to figure out how everything in the universe worked, from the smallest of atoms, to the workings of the heavens, of man, beast, and machine.
Yet, a time came when he final became home sick. And so, he traveled home. To be at ease in his own waters, and with his own people. Within a few years, he met a woman, and fell in love. Then took her out into the rest of the universe, showing her its beauty, and wonder. It was during that time that he lost her, forced to watch as she was starved, tortured, raped, and eventually burned alive for a crime HE had committed. And when he wished for death, he was instead sold off as a slave.
Yet, she had been his grounding to stability. And the sight he had witnessed had severed that bond completely. He lost himself, and went mad. All stability and sanity fled from him. More so when confined to a small black room for weeks on end before being sold off to rich man on a space colony. Soon as his bindings were undone, he killed the man that had bought him, and created a blood bath out of many more that tried to bind him again. In time, the entire man's estate was bloody, and littered with varies body parts.
The local police found Moss in the man's library, a woman cut open on a table, and a book on human anatomy in his hand. He outran them, and stole a small ship out of the local docks.
A week later the owner and runner of BBT found him and promised immunity from his crimes and free creative range if he would join his staff as a Doctor. He took it, although he does much more than just medical needs.
Personality: Insane, crazy, hyper, kind of bubbly. Dr. Moss can come off as being drunk 24/7, and can easily be scary to most people. He has a habit of dissecting people, and braking things open to see how they work. If he enjoys what he finds, or is focused to promise ahead of time, he'll generally put back together what he took apart, even improve their overall function and ability if bribed or talked into it. If he doesn't like what he finds, or thinks it boring, he may just leave it as is, in many, many pieces and bloody pools. He likes rare shiny things, and has an addiction to brownies; to the point were its all he eats when he can get his hands on them. Over all, he's a nice guy, and gets along well with just about anyone
Sponsor: BBT itself.
Weapon: Simple titanium scapula, along with his own claws.
Appearance: Moss in basics looks like a seven foot tall lizard man. This of course means his tongue is forked, and that he doesn't blink except when getting into, or out of the water because of a lens that covers his eyes for improved water vision. His eyes are slightly larger than humans, and almost glow a bright orange. His hair is a light purple with a single inch thick neon orange highlight running down his hair in line with were one's eyebrow would be. His hair is completely straight, with no curl what so ever down to the mid of his back. His face comprises of a halve foot, streamlined snout and skull. His nose being nothing more than two holes above his mouth, which is full of small pearly white fangs. And his ears looking like small holes on the side of his head, hidden behind small fins. His build is skinny, lanky, and bony, yet laced with fine corded muscle. In other words, he looks like an Olympic runner. His tail is long as him, fully prehensile, and laced in muscle like the rest of him, which means it can be used like a whip, hand, or counter balance. Beyond that, his body is covered from head to toe in fine, smooth, light green, scales. Each of which acts like high grade armor, protecting him from most dangers, yet while feeling surprisingly soft like silk and providing zero drag to almost everything.
All he wears is a light blue sarong with a flower print around his pelvis. It falls just short of his ankles.
QPZ-106, as played by Dream Name: QPZ-106 Age: 4 years, appears to be about 26 Race: Mech robot. Racial Skills: Due to the fact that QPZ-106 is made entirely out of metal, she is extremely resistant. She feels no pain, which gives her a slight advantage, but not much. She can fight even if her arm is dangling by a wire, because she won't feel it. That is also a weakness, however, because she could become immobile without even noticing it. Her body is made of a near impenetrable metal, though there are a few weak spots. Her joints are, inevitably, less protected then the rest of her, but not by much. Her main weakness would be electrical attacks, because, being a mech robot, she runs off electrical currents. Her other main weakness is that she doesn't have any concept of when enough is enough. She fights every fight all or nothing. Her body will not heal/fix itself, so she has to have a mechanic to do it for her. (Of course, the mech program sent their best technicians to do so, but that's beside the point) Gender: appears female Orb Name: Tamsybė Orb's Power: Tamsybė is the orb of Shadows. It can produce a solid shadow substance, that can be launched at a foe. It can also render the user temporarily invisible. The full extent of it's power isn't known, because its users have ultimately died by pushing too deeply into it's abilities. The orb naturally produces a certain amount of electric energy, which it needs to activate. It also has a fairly short recharge time. The power of the orb is increased by placing it in the vicinity of any other type of electrical charge. It can also be recharged or intensified by being kept in the shadows for a prolonged amount of time, but that takes much longer. The fact that Q has possession of Tamsybė is ironic, because she runs off a type of electrical current. Because of that, the orb has become a part of her. It is stored in the middle of her main circuitry, and some claim it acts as her heart. She has a deep connection with the orb, which makes her particularly volatile. Bio: QPZ-106, generally known simply as "Q", was created to be the ultimate slave. She was program designed to respond directly to any order given to her by the owner of her key. Her key is an object that acts just as the name suggests. Using the key, she can be controlled, made to do whatever the owner of it wanted. Her whole life, Q has only known one owner. That owner ordered her specifically, for one purpose only. To fight. She is a more delicate looking mech, but that didn't matter. Appearances could be deceiving, after all. Her master trained her for two years before deciding that she was ready to begin fighting. She started with some smaller scale fights, and after proving her skill, moved on to bigger and better things. Q did try to run away once, though it ended very badly, causing her to never try such a feat again. First, an explanation. The world that Q lived in was about as technologically centered as it could get. The entire civilization lived inside a huge metal structure. The escape went as planned, at first. She managed to get half way to the hatch when she was caught. She was dragged forcefully back to her master's home, and put through some of the worst torture she would ever endure. Personality: Q's personality at first glance would be described as emotionless. Being a mech, every emotion that she has had to be learned. Emotions are not natural for her, so they always seem fake. She doesn't particularly enjoy fighting, but she doesn't dislike it either. It is simply a way of life for her. Sponsor: Q was lucky in the sense that she is the first Mech to ever have a chance of competing. Because of that, her sponsorship comes from a few different places. The entire Mech program is a big supporter of her fighting, and donates a large amount of money for her to fight. While her official "sponsor" would be her master, he has the financial support of their entire planet, for Q's victory would be something that would benefit all of them. The reason they want the Gateway is simple: control and power. Being in possession of such a thing would be a great thing for any planet, but for people who live their whole lives within a giant machine, being able to get out into the world in such a way is a novelty. It usually costs a lot for someone to travel to another world, but with this, the traveling would cost a lot less. weapon blades Q's weapons are a part of her physical self, and can be retracted at will. Her main weapons are twin blades which extend from the back of her arms, one from each arm. They are about two feet long, and extremely strong, made of the same metals as she is. scythe She also has a scythe, which is hidden in the form of a decorative panel on her back. All she has to do is reach around her back, and press a specific part of the panel, and it comes off. Appearance image Q's appearance is model QPZ, the newest mold of mech. The unfortunate thing is that, in an attempt to improve on her design, to create a new model, something went wrong. Because of that, there is a physical difference between her and the other QPZ models. Her basic body structure is the same as the others, but beyond that, there are little to no similarities. Her face is more human in appearance, though she has deep black eyes that seem to pierce through the darkness. Her hair is long and light blue in color. It was artificially made, and she never cuts it because it wouldn't grow back. It is always at the same length. In regard to clothing and armor: Q's body itself is metal, so it acts as its own armor. Because of that, she doesn't wear armor. Instead, she just wears a dark blue, form fitting tank top, and dark black elastic pants. There isn't any real functional reason for her to wear them, it isn't as if she has modesty to worry about. Over it, she wears a long black cloak with the hood always raised. At a first glance, she could even appear human, though upon removing her cloak, any doubt about what she is is gone. Gu'rath, as played by Syntax Name: Gu'rath
Age: 29 years as defined by most time-measurement standards.
Race: Voidborne. Hailing from the Void, the proverbial world-between-worlds, it is difficult to ascribe a common appearance for the entire race as they commonly changed form and appearance to suit the wild conditions of their home dimension. However, Gu'rath's form has stabilised in regular space, and so it can be seen: He is insectoid, deep red with a spined carapace and a tail reminiscent of the terran-based scorpion, but stands as slightly taller than a human and multiple breadths wider on his two back feet.
The Voidborne are usually not remarkably cunning - being in regular space is typically traumatising enough to reduce them to nervous, enraged wrecks, but nevertheless they are sentient, though typically malicious thanks to the harsh conditions of their home. Intellect varies, but they are deeper than their monstrous appearance sometimes suggests.
Racial Skills: Gu'rath's form is not remarkably large or intimidating, but his well-armoured carapace and low center of gravity make him remarkably tough to all but the strongest of physical blows. In conjunction with this, his whiplash tail, front claws and mandibles can cause lacerating damage in close combat, allowing him to slash, whip and even headbutt his opposition.
However, he is virtually powerless at long range, and his lidless eyes are particularly susceptible to bright light. Whenever possible he will fight in the darkness - but not underground, as his girth commonly becomes ungainly in confined spaces.
Gender: Not relevant/determined. "He" is simply a referral.
Orb Name: Garevul
Orb's Power: Garevul, otherwise known as the Orb of Greed, is often overlooked in the tournament, granting no particularly abusive or spectacular power, but nevertheless it has its place, and Gu'rath was fortunate to take possession of it for this year. Some creatures are said to have a sweet tooth - but after gaining the Orb, Gu'rath might be said to have a bloody tooth... or rather, a whole mouthful of them: He revels in the pain of others, feeding and restoring his vitality through the consumption of flesh and blood, and like a frenzied predator, will quickly work himself into a bloodlust-fuelled frenzy over the slightest scratch. Nobody has tested what happens if he is handed a meal under the Orb's influence... but it's been hypothesised that it would 'not be pretty'.
Bio: Gu'rath is a creature of the Void, a barren and hostile place that rests somewhere undefined on the dimensional axis. Growing up, he had known little else but it's bizarre, twisted forms and the creatures that inhabited it, but through some catastrophe unknown, a rift was created that displaced him out of the Void, and into the space inhabited by humans and other typical life forms.
Though it is a harsh and unforgiving life in the Void, Gu'rath was nevertheless highly displeased to be left here. He was no longer granted a freedom of form, instead trapped under the influence of unfamiliar forces like gravity and light. Resentful though he was, he soon gained a life of sorts, including several unusual years serving as a waiter in a small bar on the west arm of the local galaxy. Nevertheless, he had hoped to research his predicament at one of the Exotic Astrophysics Laboratories positioned on Glisa 5-8-1b, and perhaps find a way back to the Void. Limitations of funding, however, quickly told him that this was essentially impossible: Shuttle tickets costed an arm and a leg, and he wasn't entirely sure if they would regenerate if he hacked them off.
That would have likely been it for Gu'rath, had it not been for one evening when he was involved in a brawl with several unruly customers. Despite their biomechanical enhancements, he emerged from the fight almost completely unscathed and left several of them with missing fingers. An Nakata Corporation associate, sitting in the lounge opposite, witnessed the fight and, being an enterprising man, offered Gu'rath a chance to fight for Nakata in the BBT. Gu'rath agreed, with one condition: He would be allowed to use the SGW to travel to Glisa 5-8-1b, free of charge.
Personality: Despite his wild and bloody method of fighting, Gu'rath is far from savage: He has picked up plenty from his time spent in space, and is a somewhat aloof, even reserved creature in daily life, even going to far as to dress neatly to conceal his unsettling form. Cold and calculating in many cases, he has few friends, a fact that rarely bothers him.
Sponsor: Nakata Corporation. An Earth-based merchanting company, formed in Japan in early 2071, Nakata started off selling a variety of combat aids during the first Mars riots. Displaying a kind of sickening talent for business, Nakata fuelled the bloody fight for control until it had become wealthy enough to colonise the planet all by itself. It quickly became a commercial superpower, controlling several of Saturn's moons and a wide portion of the asteroid belt, starting multiple mining projects in the process and becoming one of the first powers to unearth and operate a celestial gateway. Economic crisis has sapped at its power, but its immoral business tactics and vast mining monopoly leaves it a force to be reckoned with. Nakata's reason for wanting control of the SGW is simple - it can distribute its minerals far and wide at relatively low costs, while making it difficult for their competitors.
Weapon: Gu'rath's front pairs of limbs, or arms as we must assume them, are unsuited to grasping weaponry, and so he rarely fights with one, preferring to use the serrated edges on the back of his wrists. For the most part he battles unarmed, his unnatural body providing fearsome potential on its own.
Appearance: Gu'rath's form used to obey his command while part of the Void - he could grow, commit metamorphosis, and so on, but passing into regular space has frozen him in his current one, which resembles little more than a giant, deep-red insect. His slightly-swollen body is covered in a spiny carapace, with multiple plates on his belly and along his tail for flexibility. Though he stands tall on two legs for most of the time, following the conventions of humans and other typical sentients, he can drop to his other four limbs in times of need. All four arms end in claws and digits more suited to grasping and manipulation, but they are nevertheless razor-tipped and backed by serrated casts of chitin and bone.
Gu'rath's head is somewhat insectoid too, but instead of the typical bulging spheres, his eyes, lidless and without pupils, are sunk into his angular skull, and his mandibles protrude out in front of his face like tusks. He is completely hairless.
Alex Cross, as played by FredKrug Name: Alex Cross Age: 41 (Looks 20) Race: Human (Ascended) – when a person reaches the pinnacle of understanding and wisdom, they begin to see the world in a whole new (and easily manipulated) way. Most people think of these people as “magicians”, but they really just exploit their understanding of the universe for their own means, whether good or bad. Racial Skills: Humans are known for their versatility and adaptability. Though many other races soar above them in all catagories, from physical prowess, to speed, to intellect, humans are known for rising above these weaknesses and carrying the day, regardless of how bleak the situation is. Alex falls above the average in most regards, particularly his capacity for knowledge and understanding. Alex, however, isn't quite human, at least not anymore. He has gone above and beyond the capacity of a human can mentally and physically. He is capable of manipulating the world around him, to an extent, though outside of altering his own body, and to an extent, his clothing and such, he doesn’t tend to rely on it. Sasha has more or less taken over this part of his power, converting it to manipulate mostly water. Though Alex can still manipulate the world around him, even other beings, it requires a calm place with little to no restlessness, not to mention the willingness of those who he aims to alter. Gender: Truly male, currently female Orb Name: Sasha Orb's Power: Sasha grants Alex the amazing ability to manipulate water on an astronomically large scale. He has the ability to control water from miles away (though the control at that distance is quite weak, and his accuracy sucks even with a large quantity), and he can manage and maintain incredible amounts of water. He is capable of manipulating the 6 special properties of water (let's see who remembers chem!) as well as its state. However, Alex cannot manipulate water that is inside a body or cell, and it is difficult for him to separate the water molecules when they bond to anything else. He's also capable of compressing water into ungodly small areas, creating enormous pressure. At high concentrations, the water becomes nigh unbreakable. Bio: Alex was born like any other human. He was raised in a small town, relatively speaking, along the coast of a small ocean-side town on a planet dominated by a race known as the Taurran, who were rather large, tough, almost rock-like creatures with incredibly hard bodies. They had little concern for the 'weaker' races under their thumb, and tended to treat everyone with distain. They took a lot of money from everyone and had a rather harsh series of jobs that most 'lower lifeforms' were required to work. It was a rough lifestyle, and most of the people on the planet weren't all that satisfied, but they managed to make a lifestyle out of it. Alex, however, didn't grow up quite like everyone else. His mind expanded at a phenominal rate. He was learning things well beyond what someone his age should be capable of understanding. By the age of 12, he had already begun to show unsual signs. He had begun to be able to move things with his mind. Through meditation and focus, Alex actually honed his abilities until, at age 20, he perfected it. His mind ascended beyond what any human is normally capable of. With his abilities, everything seemed to become so clear. Alex's first thought was his people. Even though he was far more powerful than he'd been before, he couldn't take on a whole planet of his opportunities. However, he heard of a mysterious orb located deep within the ocean of his planet. Using his new powers, he dove down into the ocean, finding the orb hidden in a reef on the ocean floor. Upon reaching with it, the orb reached out to him, bonding with him, altering both his body and powers to suit its, or rather her, desires. It raised his body to the surface, where together, they singlehandedly devastated the Taurran, reclaiming the planet for the people. Personality: Alex is a cool, calm, collected guy who doesn't let his emotions cloud his judgment. He keeps a level head in almost any situation. He has a flare for the dramatic, and enjoys creating wonderful and spectacular images with his water. He has simple tastes, however, as far as food and clothing goes. He is wise for his age, knowing plenty about physics and chemistry, and is especially well known for his lectures on the subjects. He especially enjoys relaxing, and usually prefers to take his time with what he does. Despite his immense power, he doesn’t necessarily enjoy using it, and often prefers to just match blows until he builds up to an epic climax when fighting opponents, especially the cocky ones. Unfortunately for Alex, he isn't the only one who occupies his body. Sasha, the orb he possesses, is a concious and active, and constantly tries to take over 'their' body. She has some of the same traits, such as remaining calm and cool in most situations. However, unlike Alex, she is quite the girly girl. Dresses, fancy things, and loves attention, especially from 'attractive men'. The two class constantly for dominance, and usually, it's rather apparent which one is winning at the moment based solely on the appearance. Alex will do his best to surpress the female form he's been cursed with and where very male clothes while Sasha will form him into a more voluptuous woman and wear girly clothes. Sponsor: Alex is sponsoring himself. He runs a small planet which he liberated from an opressive goverment He aims to open up the lanes so he can potentially spread some good to other parts of the galaxy without worrying about his duties on his own planet. If nothing else, he intends to open the section for more public use. On a side note, both sides of his personality are looking for a way to take over entirely, which they are hoping to find in the tournament. Weapon: Alex's cross is a compressed ocean. The molecules are pressed in on each other to the point where their natural charges can't repel each other, making it, in a sense, one of the hardest and heaviest materials out there. Appearance: Alex Cross’s feminine body Contrary to popular belief, this is not what Alex actually looks like. She is really a he. He is just fighting Sasha, the orb, for his body. When Alex is in charge, his body tends to be less feminine, the curves disappearing, his hair shortening down to a guy cut, and his clothes transforming into a white, short sleeved, button-down shirt, black t-shirt, cargo pants, and black shoes with white soles. When Sasha takes over, Alex's body becomes quite feminine. Long hair, eyelashes, lipstick, painted fingernails, and other quite noteworthy girl touches, in addition to always wearing dresses and skirts, though exactly what she decides to wears varies heavily depending on her mood. Gunner, as played by Lock_Wolf Name: Insidiis 'Gunner' Age: 24 Race: Frozen, a race of people that live on an aeon old planet touched only by the light of a 'cold sun'. The planet, Uorama 7, is one giant frozen block ice. The people live under the ice in large cavern like air pockets with some form of warmth ranging around -325.00 °F at the hottest, or just cold enough to keep the Frozen's nitrogen blood liquid. The Frozen are a sort of metallic bluish tint in completion with no mouth to speak of and a rail thin humanoid shape. Their eyes are similar to humans but better suited to severely bright light from the cold sun and reflections from the icy tundra of their world. The Frozen are a silicon based race, instead of carbon based. Physical their bodies have a high endurance and stress point able to give and bend further than most before breaking. Their skin is also harder and closer to smooth polished plastic looking rock than rubber in nature. Racial Skills: The Frozen have the odd ability to move through solid objects as if ghost and will take the appearance of one, seeming much like mist. And off their home world they are cold enough to freeze anything they touch and encase it in ice and can bring a room's temper down to below freezing near instantly just by walking into it if unshielded. Their eyes can see through any amount of bright light and fare well in the dark with the uncanny since to draw one in. Their voices are like that of unparalleled angels singing in heavenly choir, yet only heard in near inaudible whispers or when recorded and played back on an audio player. This is due to the fact they speak both in sub-sonic frequencies inaudible to nearly all ears and directly into one's mind. The mind hears this as whispers and influences unless well trained to 'listen'. Through this influential angelic voice a Frozen can sometimes hypnotize and control an unprepared mind. This effect magnifies quite significantly when singing. Gender: Male. Orb Name: Kori Dimiourgias Orb's Power: Molecular Manipulation. In short, he can control energy and matter on a molecular level, which could be either his own matter or that of his surroundings and nature. To directly affect the matter or energy of another living being requires physical touch and ether permission, a unconscious target, or a great deal of focus and force to combat the targets own will and desire to remain unchanged, in the end he will always win this battle in the long run, but the time, energy and force required increases the stronger his target currently is in direct proportion to himself. Bio: Gunner lived a rather calm but boring life, his home world had surrendered to the Vallcu years ago without terms. The Seedians never bothered them, and the rest of the universe seemed to forget his people’s very existence. He lost himself in the libraries of home, and in time of other worlds. As he digged for informative the term 'Lady of Creation', War of the Gods, his planets name, and the term 'orb' showed up frequently. And the more research he put into his studies the more he connected till he finally learned the hiding place of his world's Beast. A god like entity with the knowledge and power to rip her world apart and rebuild it as she saw fit that challenged the gods and lost. Once he learned to be true when he returned home. The Vallcu came soon after; they had been watching him, waiting for his world's power to surface. The Vallcu took him away, hid him form the universe, from the Seedians, and trained him in his new powers till they saw he was at his peak. They then through him into a fight with all the other orb barers till only he stood. Their tool, their weapon, their next shot at ending the long cold war had been found. Gunner only cared that he was of some purpose now, in the spot light, important. That his people hadn't been looked over only looked after. And yet he felt no real pride from this, nor any true excitement. Personality: Gunner is calm, kind, and very quiet. Sagely in knowledge and in wisdom as if very old. Well learned, Gunner is the last man you would think to see in such a violent setting. Yet he is cold and logical, quick witted, a genius in human terms. Rather detached from humanity Gunner can seem to come off as if dead inside or lacking emotions all together. The true though is that he just doesn’t know to connect with them, they still feel and respond though. And under the hard man lies a heart of gold willing to help and accept any. The problem is getting it to show. Sponsor: Vallcu Armada, an Empire of the Vallcu World that spreads through out a third of the known universe having colonized, invaded, or treaties with over a thousand worlds. The Vallcu wish to attain the Celestial Gate way for one reason, to expand their reach across the entire universe. At the moment the current owner regrets the full war fleet and hostilities are worthless as damaging the Gates are not acceptable. The Vallcu are in much of a race as anything though as the Seedian Empire on the other side of the universe tries for the same price. Ether one winning would put an end to the cold war currently between the two with the other swiftly crushed under foot once all travel was cut. Till then though neither one risks a full scale war with one another as the universe herself would be shook and torn asunder as if the Gods themselves descended once again. Weapon: Guns, lots of them. And his power armor, the armor is actually built to keep him in instead of others out, but still performs the latter quite well. Long as he is inside the armor he has near super level strength and a defense close to impregnable. His speed is still with in normal range though, and his voice is filtered and amplified so he can be heard as he speaks in real time, though as everything else it looses the angelic sound of being heard directly. The problem with the armor is that it completely blocks off his racial powers, and limits his orb's power of effect to within a foot of his person. The true point of the armor is to keep his body chilled to a constant -333 in any environment, if his body heats up to anything higher than -320 his blood will start to turn boil and he'll basically explode. Any colder than -346 he'll freeze solid. Appearance: Armored Itchira, as played by Kraveing_Volkf Name: Itchira Age: 83 (only looks about 24) Race Crynn The Crynn are a race of animistic savages. They reside on Cyntur, the fourth planet in the Houlvine star system. Their planet is positioned behind the star systems largest and thickest asteroid belt. This belt not only occasionally pelts their planets surface in fiery meteors but also blocks all but the most indirect sources of light. By all accounts their planet shouldn't provide any life at all. However the planet does, there isn't much gasses to breath so the animals that live there could easily be classified by space faring creatures, the only thing keeping their race 'on the ground' is the planets gravity. However because of the lack of anything else all of the creatures on Cyntur are carnivores or dirt eaters, and you can probably tell which ones survive the longest.
Of all of the animals on that planet the Crynn are at the top of the chain, they are designed to kill. Their body is slender and fast, their fur provides a defense that can withstand immense pressure blunt force hits and even blades. Their claws are retractile and are used for everything from climbing walls and cavern ceilings to ripping their prey apart. Their tail is designed to latch onto things and throw it or draw it close, with the muscles inside the tail having developed to the point where it 'retracts' and condenses. They are cold blooded, an interesting thing on a planet where no light touches so it is assumed that their fur is what keeps their body at a regulated temperature. Something assisted by the fact that when hot their fur will stand on end to help them cool off. Its their eyes however that make the Crynn so unique. The Crynn do not 'see' the way we do, they see sounds, vibrations in the air, they can see someone heart beat, their breathing, their voices, but they also see heat. They often use their tail to create a sort of 'whistle' which will act as sonar allowing them to see everything else around them.
Their internal organ structure is set up different from humans and many other races. They have no lungs, not needing to breath, their heart is positioned in the middle of their chest and their ribcage pushes out more rather then in. Their stomach and intestine structure takes up more of their mid to lower abdomen then other races but their stomach doesn't 'grow', if they get full they literally cant eat anymore and trying often causes them to vomit, which causes them to eat more to fill back up. They have an extra organ that other races don't, this organ essentially creates everything the heart needs for blood from the food they eat. Their brain is slightly smaller than a humans, however considering that their race is essentially back in 'caveman' times this actually shows great promise, and great fear (a smart race of savage carnivores is not a pleasant thought)
The sad truth of the Crynn though are that they are savages, they are actually not fit for space travel, intellectually they can be quite brilliant, but even the smartest of Crynn are still quite savage. Its this reason that the Intura have started using the Crynn as their…army, kidnapping them and blinding them, then setting them loose on their enemies. skill/orb info Racial Skills: Breathing + They have no need of oxygen or anything else, they can survive in the void of space almost indefinitely (assuming they can find stuff to eat regularly)
Sight + Their eyes see sounds and heat. Their 'sight' is so good that they can even see the beating heart of their foes, thus hiding is neigh impossible unless you can really slow your heart down. + Use their tail as a sort of sonar by closing the claws and swiping it around them creating a high pitched whistle. + Flashes of light or complete and utter darkness does not effect them as they don't actually 'see' with light. - They are essentially blind so while their 'sight' is quite good they can still be 'blinded' by a lot of sound happening around them which would make only their 'heat vision' remaining. - Heat vision useless against the cold blooded or those with no blood
Eating + Eats raw bloody meat. Fish is acceptable but only if its still alive when she bites it. + Has rather sharp teeth, and greatly likes eating meat + Viciously bloodthirsty, especially when hungry. + Rather likes the taste and smell of blood - They need to eat at least twice a day, which their day is about 28 earth hours.
Claws & Tail + Their claws are sharp enough to cleanly cut through rock, many metals, and often time even a ship hull. + Their tail can often reach 20 ft long when un-condensed, and the end of their tail is anywhere between 2-4 claws used to grab things. + Tail capable of lifting nearly a ton (about 2000 pounds) - Tail, while strong, is unable to actually move all that fast especially when grabbing things, and strangely if held at the condensed (shortest) length the thing is unable to expand, can still retract so beware the claws. Note: Tail viewed as the mark of 'beauty' for Crynn
Movement + Extremely fast and agile, able to run at speeds clocked in at nearly 150 kph (93 mph) + Can move on walls and ceilings - Moves slightly slower on walls, and in fact rarely ever moves at their full speed as they are more stalk the prey, then rip them to shreds.
Fur/Defense + Their fur is interesting its soft to the touch, and moves in the fingers, but if struck, stabbed, or shot the attack is barely registered as the fur seems to tense moments before impact. + Able to take quite a bit of blunt force hits and even blade strikes + Fur helps greatly with the cold - Fire really really burns, this goes for just about any heat really. - Needles and other extremely fine blades (like scalpels) can easily bypass the furs defense.
Other + Cold blooded - Itchira is muzzled so she cant bite and subsequently cant eat her foes (ripping to shreds still possible) - Rather anti-social even against others of their race. - Detests electricity, not because of her race but rather because its how she's kept 'calm' and 'safe'
Orb Name: Heart
Orb's Power: Heart serves only one purpose, keeping Itchira alive. It stitches her body back together and removes scars and burns. It hurts like a sunovabitch but it can heal everything so long at the orb itself remains in Itchiras body. Now the time it takes to do this depends on three things. The size of the wound, missing limbs obviously take longer then a scratch on the cheek. The amount of meat in Itchiras stomach. And how often it is being used. On a full stomach with only receiving minor scratches prior Itchira can heal a missing arm in an hour. character info Gender: Female
Bio: Itchira was taken from her home when she was about forty years old. She had spent much of her life exactly how everyone else of her race did, hunting and finding a 'safe' place to make home, home being protection from the meteors. However when an interesting noise caused her to lose her prey she went to investigate. And found herself being attacked with strange electrical shocking sticks. She struck back and could feel and smell the warmth of blood on her. However she was still taken thanks to the constant shocks.
She observed the vibrations of a man talking to her. Through rigorous teaching, involving electroshock, she was taught to understand and (to a limited degree) speak galactic common. Then she was taught to obey the orders that the man gave her, again through electroshock. Her claws were kept extended and held stiffly in place against her arm preventing her from clawing free, plus it was quite uncomfortable. Her tail was kept short and also kept still so for the next ten years she was taught.
She finally got set free onto a battle field where she slaughtered anything that had a different heartbeat than the man who 'taught' her. She was unable to escape thanks to a chip implanted in her arm, and not returning or following orders resulted in her body being surged with electricity. As time passed she survived far longer than any Crynn prior, because of this she was considered a favorite by the Inturan military and was sent on just about every military 'mission' they required of her.
Nearly seven years ago, after over thirty years of being a tool for the Intura, she was nearly killed in a mission. In order to save their…investment they supplied her with an ancient orb that they had been testing. The orb instantly fused with her and now lays directly under her heart. With their new soldier the Intura decided that entering her in the next of the Corpex SGW tournament would be an extremely great idea.
Personality: Easily comes off as stupid Itchira talks little and when she does its slow and gruff, plus muffled thanks to her muzzle. Her attitude toward other living creatures is simply 'food'. The nicest she can be is generally only seen by things that aren't alive, machines and things with no pulse. The nicest she can be however is simply not attacking them unless told to.
Sponsor: Inturan Military. The Intura are a race of overlord type creatures that literally view every race as slaves for their use. They wish to use the SGW as a way to spread their grip across the other galaxies quickly and easily.
Weapon: She uses no 'weapon'. Her claws, and her tail is her only weapon, her teeth too if she can remove the muzzle. Appearance Itchira stands at six foot two inches tall. She is rather slender framed and her entire body is covered in two inch long dark grey fur, which make her look quite fuzzy. She has no 'eyes' of note and most of her face is quite smooth actually, only having a mouth full of razor sharp fangs and a strange animal ear like protrusion toward the crown of her head. There are two of these ears which resemble fox ears. They are placed perfectly on the top of her head, one facing forward, one behind, both capable of laying flat against her head hiding perfectly in her fur. Her mouth is always covered by a muzzle, and the muzzle leaves almost no room for her to speak.
She has three four inch long claws on her feet, angled to allow her to easily scale walls or grip onto ceilings. Her hand has six claws in total which make her hand slightly resemble a humans hand, except with an extra finger. Each 'finger' is exactly ten inches long, and sharp enough to cut through solid rock. They are only slightly flexible, so if she wished she could pick something up, though the chance of that item not being cut is slim. In their retracted state the claws only reach out two inches from the hand, and the rest of the claws can actually be seen in her arm, which is actually fairly interesting to watch them retract and expand.
Her tail reaches three foot in general length, its entire mass is a large muscle some cartilage and some bone allowing it quite a lot of flexibility. The entire thing can expand to twenty foot long, however she rarely if ever does this as its difficult to control and aim. She prefers to go about nine foot if that. The tail has three foot and a half long claws coming from the tip, these claws can open up to grab objects, often objects grabbed are either thrown away, or cut through. The claws are situated in a three prong formation, and when closed leave just enough of an opening to make a loud high-pitched whistle. If just 'wagged' then the whistle is lower in 'loudness' but its still moderately loud.

Staging
Before any fight starts a arena will be selected. Who selects the ring will be done by a coin flip, the winner then chooses the battle field, if indecisive they can choose a random place or setting.
A few basic ideas will be placed here and added to as ideas are given.
1. Formal Arena, large, perfectly flat, clear weather, and cheering crowd all around.
2. Dessert, slippery footing, bad vision, high heat, why in hell would anyone 'want' to fight here?
3. Ice Sheet, inches away from freezing waters, bitter winds, and no feeling in your toes. This is almost as bad as the dessert....
4. Huge Barren Rock, deep in space, no atmosphere, flying at a ungodly pace through the heavens with no gravity to speak of. Hope you don't need air...
5. Asteroid Belt, your own cosmic rock quarry to throw around, blow up, and use for anything else that comes to mind.
6. And the list goes on, I'll spend more time here later. Idea for the mass are welcome.

EN, your character wouldn't happen to be a Human, would it?
Just in case, I'll brainstorm two characters. When I wake up in the morning...

Dang. Had an interesting idea for one. Eh, Fred can have the spot if he still wants it.
edit: Yeah. I'm going to take this opportunity to make a far "out there" character. Not something you can really do in most types of RPs.

edit: Oh. Something to listen to while you read about Dgomaz. [http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/359812]. Just 'cause I SAID SO!
Dgomaz Name: Dgomaz il Azgorug Age: It is hard to tell his age, but it is agreed that he can be no younger than a thousand years, but how much older could he be? Race : Azgorug : An ancient race that once flourished many millennia ago. They were an incredibly intelligent race that saw themselves as the pinnacle of sentient existence. Everything else out there was inferior to them, they thought. For good reason too, as not only were they intelligent, but highly advanced -- technologically, physically, and spiritually. It is said that, at one point, they left their homeworld in an attempt to subdue the nigh infinite regions of space. Their plan was somehow thwarted, and their race was seemingly erased from existence. Save for the minute few that remained on their homeworld. Though even they would soon fall victim to the retaliation of countless angered species. It wasn't long before the planet itself was destroyed, leaving nothing but debris to drift aimlessly through the voids of space. What can be found on an Azgorug's diet is unknown, and none have ever seen Dgomaz eat anything at all. There have been rumors that the Azgorug were a cannibalistic race, feasting upon those among them that were either too weak, or have aged beyond a certain point -- their race capable of living for countless years meant that death by "old age" was extremely rare. There has been nothing to prove these theories, however. In fact, not much else is known of his race other than their legendary destruction, but few are bold enough to pry. Their homeworld had been documented, however, by the invading forces to be dark and dismal - a place likely uninhabitable by anything other than their own species. This was likely the reason why the planet was simply destroyed rather than conquered. Racial Skills: The Azgorug use it's own body as a weapon. Their fangs and claws are more than capable of ripping through steel with ease. His tail, as well as the tentacle-like "hairs" upon his head are capable of increasing in length to lash out at unsuspecting enemies. Nothing escapes the gaze of an Azgorug, as their eyes can see through the blackest of voids and stare into the brightest of stars with little threat to their sight. Every little sphere of azure upon their body can generate an incredible explosion in their standard size, but should an Azgorug concentrate, they can increase the size of the spheres and the explosive powers they release. Most documentations of the Azgorug race hinted to their large size and incredible strength, though Dgomaz seems rather petite in contrast, being no larger than your average human male. It has been noted that his azure spheres have been losing their luster and diminishing in explosive power as the years go by, though none know if this is due to age or something else entirely. Gender: Male [presumably] Orb Name: Ndurch Rubadt Orb's Power: The Ndurch Rubadt has the ability to devour light in all its forms. This makes everything within the immediate area a black void through which "none" can see. Once the Ndurch Rubadt is activated, there is nothing that can be done until the orb ceases its function. Light generated after the orb is activated will be instantly devoured as if it were never created; this includes light-based energy and attacks as well. Bio: [WIP] Personality: Having lived for countless centuries, seeing the rise and fall of many civilizations, Dgomaz is an intelligent being filled with great wisdom -- wisdom he seldom shares. Possibly being the last of his race, he hardly speaks to any other being unless it is a necessity. Those brave enough to confront him outside of battle find that he seems more like a starving caged animal than a member of the "prestigious" Azgorug race. This comes off in the manner that he speaks to others - rude and abrasive, with a low growl fleeting from between his fangs with each phrase uttered. It is hard to tell if and when he will "snap", but it is probably best to keep distance. Sponsor: [WIP] Weapon: Despite having extensive knowledge of all sorts of gadgets and weaponry, he has never been found to use anything other than what his body provides in battle. Appearance A form as black as the infinite voids of space with spheres of azure that radiate like the stars that inhabit it. The tentacles upon his cranium are always in motion, ready to launch an explosive sphere at a moment's notice. Their movement can be heard from a good distance, letting out a sound akin to slivering snakes. His eyes are a dull yellow that stab daggers into all that cross their path and absorb everything in their surroundings - always gathering and calculating.

Hmm. Maybe about the size of a grenade explosion, I guess. With just about that much power. Although he can increase the size/power, its probably not something he's going to do since he's not immune to the damage himself.
I got a feeling some of the other characters are going to be packing more heat though.

How's this one? First time, but I'm pretty sure I covered everything. I can edit it if need be.
Gu'rath Name: Gu'rath
Will be busy for most of the day so you've got a few hours to rage against me ;)
EDIT: Everybody appears to be using claws or their bare hands. This could turn into a rather... erm, visceral fight.

So I decided Zero is a bit to OP to be my main fighter . I have always used him as my Judge and final boss. So instead of using him I will be using Kratic, but Kratic has some very nasty surprises that hopefully I will not have to reveal until later on. How do you feel about a fallen angel who merges with a demon to become a whole new being?

I'll work on my character tomorrow night when I get home. It'll take me a bit to do it, but yeah, I'm aiming to take the human, haha.

Okay. So I edited a good deal of Dgomaz's character sheet. Check it out. I gave him a crucial weakness; see if you can figure it out.
Just have to finish his Bio and Sponsor information though. Bio's are always the hardest thing to do. -_-

So far, so good. And Twisted, feel free to join.
My Big Bad Charater Name: Insidiis 'Gunner' Age: 24 Race: Frozen, a race of people that live on an aeon old planet touched only by the light of a 'cold sun'. Appearance: Armored
