Yeah, I was thinking Earth at first, but then I realized that he was more focused on the act of ripping metals from the earth for his own means than the creation in itself, so fire made more sense.

*smells a dark plot in the mix with that*

Sorry it took so long, I've been busy all day.
But here's my little water girl.

Name:
Awari Sarija

Age:
19

Element:
Water

Rank:
Follower

Bio

Other: Awari is a high-spirited and inquisitive girl. She enjoys helping others, mainly because of the satisfaction that comes with it. She also enjoys exploring, although it's something she rarely does on her own.

One of her greatest passions, however, is painting. Armed with a palate, a set of paintbrushes, a canvas and a steady hand, she can spend hours painting whatever inspiration comes to her.

Flaunt it:
Awari stands at five feet, six inches. With a thin build and long arms, legs, and fingers, her body appears as though it's been stretched out a little. Her hair is thick and raven black in color, and reaches her mid-back in length. Her almond shaped eyes are a bright sapphire blue in color, and seem to carry a constant alert and curious expression.

In terms of attire, she likes dresses, skirts, and pretty jewelry, but not shoes. Her hair is often tied back into pigtails.
"Darkness falls,
Here comes the rain
To end it all,
The blood and the game."
- "Vox Populi" by 30 Seconds to Mars

Name: Arram
Age: 30
Element: N/A
Rank: neutral
Spoiler: click to toggle

Spoiler: click to toggle

Flaunt it: Arram has been made lean and strong through years of living off the few food sources and constant efforts to survive. Practicing with his bow has made his arms, broad shoulders, and back very strong. His legs are equally as strong from running and traveling many miles. His hair is a dark red/brown mix, cut raggedly short so it stays out of his brown eyes. He stands just over six foot.

Weapons: Bow and Arrow- Made from scratch. Arrows are either topped with arrowheads of flint or bone or just sharpened points.

Daggers- One of well sharpened bone. Another of metal.*

*A cerimonial dagger stolen from a clan master's tent, sharpened until good enough for actual use.

Paradox, do the clans all come together for this anniversary thing? You mentioned in your post that some groups are talking about it.

From my understanding some will go, but not all.

It's up to how the character feels about it and whether they have a motive or reason to come to the gathering. My character is going in hopes of finding her mother, who wasn't that harsh towards the other elements. There are some characters that may not want to go (or can't because the roleplayer feels like they might be inactive and not want to put themselves in a place that requires interaction), and that won't affect the outcome of the Anniversary in the least.

This is not really a issue at the moment, but I will ask for future reference. How many other posts before we are allow to post again? Some members may not be online at the same time with others, so I figure this be a day by day rp with not much progress happening in one day, so I doubt there will be a problem. On the other side some members may only be interacting with one or two other people, should they wait for others post or just go on with their "group"?

On the side of caution: Do not hog the pages. If people are posting in a "group" outside of others, just to be curtious, it would be good to not post back to back extensively. This is because people might become frustrated with having to read so many posts in order to catch up with the going-ons in the roleplay and because it may grow hard to find other "group" postings. It also ensures for good, descriptive posts if you allow time and more people to post before replying.

If it gets crazy, I'll post up a "rough" order of posting.

I think it be simpler to just say :

You can post with another for a couple of posts, but stop after a couple and let someone else post even if it as nothing to do with you.

post orders.....I would figure would not work well as you would either have to skip people not online, or wait a long time for a person that as nothing to do with your post or what is going on in your area.

So the simple rule is not hog the page...I guess..or a least that is how I look at it.l

That's what I said... Again, post orders would only be if it got too out of control with the "groups" idea.

Pity we can't make separate threads for each group or something.

Pity we can't make separate threads for each group or something.
lol

Some players will interact with others, while others be busy interacting with different people but this means there is two separate groups that have nothing to do with each other, however the problem with separate threads is the groups would change when one starts to leave the group and needs to interact with one from the other group....

Anyways the basic question was how many posts needed that are made by others between our own posts?

For example " I post. Someone else posts, then I am allow to post? Or should two people posts before I post again. "

Heh, well I guess I won't a fire now that one's been made, I'd rather not there be too much of an imbalance in elements.

Uh Paradox, I think you made a mistake in editing the first post. Everything is gone beyond a certain point. D8

Okay, I'm dividing the topic up so that everything is clearly stated, since I tend to ramble sometimes.

Separate threads: Actually, you can. If it is an interaction between only two characters, then you can create a private roleplay if it's going to get extensive and you really think that the interaction is vital/going to be long. Just post a link on this OOC so that people, if interested, can read along and see the developments.

"When can I post?": Try to avoid going back to back. ex: "Paradox posts, Bill posts, Drakedragon posts, Bill posts". Don't do that... unless you feel that the roleplay is dragging, then that is fine if the post will help to boost activity in the IC thread. Give other people a chance to post, but I am not going to say "so and so many people have to post before you can", since that is the main reason certain roleplays die: because people adhere to this rule and thus, when others become inactive, the IC goes to a standstill.

Edit-

@Drakedragon: Yeeah... I noticed. I'm having a few technical difficulties with my computer/internet connection and I think it took it's anger out on my first post when I was putting in the new characters. As the first post now states, I had most of the OOC saved on a Word doc but the guideline to elements and the accepted characters were not on that file... or any file. So! I have to remake those things. It shouldn't take too long to put it back.

As to balance of the elements, I'm going to have (I think) three waters anyways if Requiem joins (I think I butchered her name) so having three fires wouldn't be that bad, though I'm starting to feel as if Earth and Air are the least loved. D; Though, if you'd rather not take on a second character, that's okay too. ^^

It's not that we don't love Earth and Air, we just completely trust the people in charge of them to rule them with benevolence and virtue!

-ahem-

Yes, that's what we mean.

I think I will make an Air member for my second character. It's also my favorite (fire and air tend to tie for my favorite element XD).

Gee wiz... Get busy for a little bit, and I fall a few pages behind... lol XP

Yay, I gots Water people to work with :D

Paradox, how do you feel about dual posts? Like, if a pair of characters are in a conversation, instead of the two members posting back and forth, would a single dual post be okay?

Sure! Or, as I stated before, make a private IC if it's going to get lengthy ^^

Btw, is it just my computer or are the pages stretched for everyone?
