Rock and stone turned its head finally free of its prison to find his brother trapped in frozen torment and slashed at by holy sword. Infuriated the monster rushed the pair affecting his kin with his shoulder out like a mad man about to batter down a door.

Elafane smiled under his mask as he saw Tyrin jump up yet felt a ting of pain as the man ran away. Not that he could blame the man at all after having been attacked by a friend. A deep breath later Elafane had his mind back in the fight and was rushing the golem that had attacked Tyrin with ax in hand pick point first as he swung down to rip into the stone monstrosity's shoulder, then rip back out and follow up with the scythe end of his beloved weapon.

He had helped these cursed things to much and hurt his teammates far to much to even consider going ease now. He'd tear into these beast of stone, cut, cleave, hack, slash, gash, rip, and rend till not but ruble and dust remained.

As Edward's first strike ran across the golem's chest the creature reared back flinging up its arm and blocking the second strike that was aimed for the weak spot in the golem's arm. Bringing the blade back to his side the broken ribs ached terribly and were probably the main reason for the miss earlier. Taking up his stance once again the golem continued to walk backwards making the worst sounding scream as it continued. Before Edward knew it his legs were being spread apart to the point where he would have to jump off with one foot to reach either side and not only that he was being met with shards of earth that had been shot up from the gap.

The attack was unexpected and two of the shards pierced his left leg letting loose a steady stream of blood. Clenching his teeth at how much torment his body was taking Edward could only bring his legs back together across the gap and attack the golem yet again. Charging forward toward the golem Edward brought the blade up from a steep angle hoping that the second attempt at this attack would work. Following the attack across the chest Edward forced the blade straight down hoping to severe the arm from the golem.

Oh bad day for the young Reia, first she was attacked, charged infact, by a large rock, then she was attacked by an ally, and just when things were looking up she felt her anger coming up.

It was slow, she could hear a pestering, a voice telling her what she should do. However that pestering whisper is always there, it is apparently only going to stop when Chaos dies. This time however the voice got louder. Now a loud voice is nothing, but the scary thing is she found herself agreeing with it. It fed off the anger she felt toward being attacked, it carefully suggested she get revenge.
She smiled toward the woman infront of her, before hugging her some then moving past her. Frost built up on her arms, shards of ice falling toward the ground. Then in one swift move she lined up her shot and threw the blast of frost, her target was the now distracted Elafane, a vengeance strike if you will.

Tsuki smiled, sighing in relief. it worked. The small girl was healed, much more than she herself had expected and was off and running again. Tsuki herself stood and took a look around. three monters still stood. She took of aim at one who had let out a battle cry, attacking a pair of the others (Golem 2) and held her hand, palm out, eyeing the beast's chest. She let the energy build inside her, a small compacted ball of light building in her hand. The energy built in her. As she felt the burst of light leave her her eyes looked almost terrified at the power that had come from her own body, hoping upon hope that she hit her target.

In the moment that the burst of light left her there was a flash when everything around her became apparent, as if the world had been put into slow motion. A deep evil chuckle rolled through her head and her breath caught in her throat. The feeling faded as suddenly as it had come over her and with all the motion around her bringing back her senses, Tsuki quickly let the sensation fade from her memories.

The attack hit and froze the creature where it was. Jessika relaxed her
stance. Her shoulders sagged slightly as she tried to catch her breath. Within an instance, she was standing straight up, blades positioned in her hands with the points out. She had seen movement out of the corner of her eye. Her eyes locked onto the target and saw Tyrin spring up to slash at it. His sword did nothing. The golem was still frozen solid.

He looked pained and bruised. She didn't know where he was or what happened to him but there was no way he could fight in his condition. "Tyrin, you need help. Here," she offered. Jessika took a few steps closer to him to close the gap. She placed her hands over his upper arm. A peaceful feeling rose up from her stomach as she concentrated. The healing energy buzzed and hummed as it spilled down her hands. It heated up the spot her hand hovered over. She hoped to heal him, at least a little.

Tyrin was stunned, never in his whole life had he missed an immobile target. Were his wounds really so bad that they inhibited him from hitting something? Maybe he needed to sit this out and recover. Just as he was retreating from the battle field one of his allies came over to him. Her name was Jessica he thought. We watched her warily as she placed her hands upon him. A confused look came across his face at this. What was she doing and why was she doing this. He almost shrugged her hand off but a soothing cold shot through his body. Gasping he felt his body begin to repair itself with what he assumed to be magic. As the coldness went away he turned to her. "Thank you comrade that was very kind of you. That's a useful trick you have there maybe you could teach me?" That would be a very useful thing to know when going against that Behemoth. I wonder if I have the ability to learn it. Not waiting for her answer Tyrin grabbed his blade in both hands and ran toward the frozen golem. Jumping up he came down hard with his sword in hopes of shattering the stone creature.

Golem 1

Frozen for 2 turns.

Golem 2

The beast of stone roared with pain as the Sky Lord's pick torn through it arm ripping it clean off and then smashing through its ribs blowing a hole the size of a basket ball. Pain and anger was all it felt as it thrashed madly no longer trying to win but only to stop the pain.

Golem 3
A another pained screamed and the golem stepped back as its arm dropped. Now defenceless and being pushed back there was no hope. In shear madding pain the stone lurched forth with maw open to try and take a bight from Edward's shoulder.

Success! The healing that Jessica had given him has succeed far beyond his expectations. He felt as if he could run twenty miles and then fight in a battle and still feel refreshed. Magic worked wonders on the body but how was it that humans had gained the capacity to use it? Maybe when the worlds collided Chaos had infected the humans tainting them in a sense. If Chaos was controlling all these monsters would he not be able to controll humans one day if he was defeated. Maybe that was what he had been hearing when he was dead. Was that what it was like to be a Terrian? How could they put up with a constant voice in their head all of the time? He would definitely have to talk to Elafane about that. A ghastly thought occured to him as he thought about Elafane maybe Chaos had been controlling him when he had attacked Tyrin. If that were true how was he able to break the hold. A shiver ran up his spine at the thought. They would definitely have to talk about that after the Behemoth was dead. Looking back at the weakened golem he stepped forward and slashed.

While his across the chest attack had missed the important part was that his follow-up attack had broken off the golem's arm and thoroughly left it defenseless. Pumping his fist, Edward figured the only thing he might have worry about now is the golem trying to shift the earth beneath his feet again. "You're nothing for my mighty blade," he cooed taking a moment to bask in the fact that he was standing toe to toe with a beast made of pure earth and winning.

As the beast charged forth it's gap for a mouth open in an attempt to crush Edward's shoulder in between the now off balanced golem missed by a large margin. Gripping the blade in his hand tightly Edward wondered how much he could make the creature suffer before it 'died.' As the golem turned around to face Edward it was met with two flashes of light as Edward slashed once at either leg attempting to completely immobilize the golem. "Fall for me, please," he murmured as he swung his blade.

Jessika's healing spell seemed to work. She nodded to her teammate as a reply to his thanks. Tyrin certainly looked better and had been able to land his first attack. The second one, though, looked like it barely pierced the ice encasing the creature. She flexed and wiggled her fingers to get the feeling back in them. The cure and ice spells froze her fingers a little. Then she tried gripping the handle of her blades. She spun them around in her hands, getting the feel for them. It seemed she had the feeling back finally.

The golem was still frozen. It almost seemed like a blessing. Using more ice magic on it sounded like a dumb move. She also didn't want to strike it with the lightning magic she had just in case it would break it out of its shell. She wanted it to get out on her own, not to aid it. Jessika decided it was best to charge the golem. She readied her weapons, pointed at the ground behind her, and ran toward it. She slashed across the icy front and hoped her blades would bite through the ice.

Tsuki smiled slightly to herself as she catched the monster before her stumble back. At that moment she took the chance to look around. The other two beast were taken down in that moment. A woman with black hair and a pale complexion took down the first one with a devistating blow after a young man with blue hair missed the target. Tsuki then took in the monster to her other side as it fell to a man in armor as he swung a great blade at the large stone creature.

Tsuki smiled slightly as she relized that the tides had turned in this battle. Just as Tsuki looked back at her own enimy she realized it had set it's sights on the man who'd been previously attacking his commrads. She centered herself and pulled out her blade. She called upon the cold sensation of her freeze abilities and fused it with her blade. She then used her blade Like a channel and let the cold burst shoot from the end of the weapon aiming straight to the beast, hopinh to end this battle.

The look under Elafane's mask was near a feral one as he ripped the monster apart with one strike after another turning the stone being into not but rubble. And it felt good to work out the aggression, that was till a cooling blast of frozen air passed right by him chilling his bone covered arm. He turned in sudden shock as he saw the mad glaze of Chaos forming in Reia's eyes. It must have been her first time, thoughts of anger and revenge opened up the door along with the severe damage he had dealt earlier. It had been his fault that she lost her self, all the more fitting that she would take her aggression out on him. He would have to at least try and cleanse her mind.

In total it didn't take but the blink of a eye for Elafae to leap towards and behind the girl with his gauntlet hand taking hold of her head with a pale white light a glow as his other braced her around the chest. If he failed it was almost a guarantee that she would rip him in halve with her magic, but if it worked she wouldn't have to bare striking her comrades.

Reia saw Elafane turn toward her and was about to send another blast of ice, when suddenly he rushed her. She felt the cold touch of his gauntlet on her head before feeling the other on her chest. Her wings wrapped around her body, hidden and generally even when one touched her they wouldn't feel them, but the cold of the metal caused them to twitch. Though it didn't matter as he would already knew she was not a human.
The thoughts of revenge, thoughts of destroying Elafane, they slowly drained away from her. She slowly felt her mind return before falling to her knees. Her hands quickly moved to push Elafanes hands away before she turned toward him and bowed her head some. "Sorry." She said with a weak smile before her eyes turned toward the third of the golems. Her body never moved, but ice formed around the golem none the less, the ice gathered around the thing before suddenly moving inward, aiming to crush the thing with ice rather then freeze it.

Elafane sighed as he saw the last golem fall to ruble under the power of his group's might. They hadn't even come close to besting the Behemoth yet but they were one step closer and the humans had their first real taste at fighting with Gaians. They now knew what to expect when the Behemoth arrived. Or at least a prelude of what to expect. He had to admit though, for humans they were strong, the blessings of Purity had undoubtedly given them that strength or else their feats of cutting through stone bodies would have been not but dreams.

"Everyone, rest and quickly tend to your wounds. While we fought the Behemoth has been steadily approach. Look on, that mountain of stone and gem is a living, breathing, monstrous colossus mad with the pain of Chaos' Corruption. If we fall, our worlds are lost. If we win, then we'll have proven that we can take back our worlds from Chaos' Reign." There was no time to say or do much else, no time to greet the new addition to the group, no time to apologize to Tyrin or Reia. No time to let the knowledge that they would all die at the Behemoth's first lunge creep in. There wasn't even truly time to focus one self. As the sky had been blocked out on one side by a creature that define all rational concepts, who's head reached the top of buildings, who's very claws were large as smaller cars, who's frame was in mimic of a mountain and dozed through smaller building, who's steps shook and broke the Earth, and who's breathing sounded off like a small gale rattling all around.

Impossible his attack had missed yet again. How had it happened that he had become the least skilled out of their group? He had trained his whole life with a sword and had never lost a single duel but here he was only have hitting his target twice since coming into contact with these creatures. What had become of his skills? Had his sword done this to him? That should be impossible though, a mere sword had no power over ones expertise in an area did it? Though these were magical weapons so maybe his had done the opposite of what it was supposed to do. Perhaps this was a blade of Choas and it internationally missed his target to kill him? Was Chaos really capable of such feats though? To drain someone of years of practice with a sword seemed a bit farfetched. Yet here he was with little damage on an enemy and he had already been downed once. This was getting rediculous. Surely this couldnt go on much longer. His years of training would take over and he would start felling the beasts. Charging toward the last golem he slash and prayed for it to hit.

Reia felt another tinge of anger sweep through her as her ice fell apart. However the feeling was pushed back and ignored by the everchild. She stood and looked around the group, a light smile on her lips as she gave a proper greeting to the new woman, whom Reia hoped would become a good friend. "Hi. I said earlier, but battles of evil creatures of doom. Anyway, My name is Reia." Her hand shot out and took the womans as she shook the hand before giggling and pointing through the group, "Thats Elafane, he's a Skylord, generally nice. He is also the leader. Edward, Jessika, and the one attacking the dead golem is Tyrin, also nice."
As seen Reia was not good at describing people, especially if her only words to describe was 'they are nice'.

Tsuki relaxed slightly as she watched the Golem crumble. She took a deep breath, closing her eyes for a moment. Beore she could open them a small voice brought back her thoughts.

"Hi. I said earlier, but battles of evil creatures of doom. Anyway, My name is Reia."

Tsuki looked down and small, her eyes reading joyful as though she'd had no other wish but to speak to the girl. She knelt down to come eye level with the child and finished shaking her hand. "Nice to meet you Reia. My name is Tsuki. And it sounds as though you've found yourself quite a team here. You should be proud of yourself for everything you've accomplished here. But sadly it seems as though our meeting will be cut short." Tsuki petted down the girl's hair gently then stood, spotting the beast that they had come to defeat. She gripped her sword tight as she gazed up at the crystal monster that towered over them. Tsuki felt it again for the moment, a dark string tugging at her mind before it disappated again.

Tsuki sighed shaking it off before looking around. Reia had named them all and tsuki took that in easily, then she the thought hit her that it was possible that she would never get a chance to use those names. That though left an odd feeling in her stomach that she couldn't quite place as she centered
her attention back on the behiemith.

The golem shattered underneath her blades. Jessika landed on the ground behind it, her feet crushing pieces off the ice and rock. She stood up straight and surveyed the damage. She smiled. She wasn't the only one who had finished off a golem. The others were dead as well. She looked down and attached one of her blades to its loop. It hung at her side. The other she decided to keep on hand just in case.

She also realized that she was feeling better. Her wounds had healed. She still wasn't used to that sensation. Jessika stretched out a little then walked over to join the group. She smiled at the new girl as Reia did introductions. She had nothing else to say since Reia said it all. Then she surveyed the area around them. There were no immediate threats but she did notice the Behemoth that Elafane pointed out. She shut her eyes to focus herself. The deep breath she took was released slowly. Jessika was ready for anything that would approach them now.

Edward had finally vanquished the golem he had been struggling with for quite some time by himself. While his ally Reia had attempted to help him in defeating the golem all she had done was create a nice cool breeze that let Edward cool down. It had been a long fight and while Edward was the last to defeat his golem he had done it almost entirely by himself and avoided most injury. Taking his blade and sheathing it in the ornate sheath on his side Edward took a seat on the curb to quickly regain himself and heal the wounds he had collected.

While his injuries weren't very severe he had been hit and that had hurt before being healed up by one of his allies. Rolling his neck around Edward was relieved to hear a satisfying pop as the bone set itself. 'I'm not much of a fighter but there is something fun about defeating a foe with your own power,' he thought puffing out his chest and letting his spine and shoulders pop as well. With the approaching shadow of the Behemoth there was no longer a time to rest Edward had to steel himself and get ready for yet another hard battle.

The roar hit first, horribly ear shattering like a volcano erupting as thunder pealed and the entire world split into with the roar of the sea flooding away. The shear volume of air pressure was a literal violent storm that shook the ground, stunned the heart, shattered the concrete and glass high above and hit like a shock wave from a explosion that threaten to knock one down.

Next the ground itself ground itself jumped under foot and cracked open with ever step of the massive beast falling into the sewer below. Yet the monster wasn't even fazed by such a thing and continued to bull doze its way through the street as the world around it shattered in awe of his might.

His Golems had done the job necessary and help the pest soon to fall at bay long enough for his shadow to know loom over head. If the mad and deranged beast could smile, it would have been grinning from ear to ear as it started to slowly tower up on two feet and tail rising ever higher and higher till the sun was fully eclipsed by its form. And then, all at once the unscalable weight of his massive form came crashing down with the force a megaton bomb to be released directly into the ground.
