Yin made her way up to the Guildmaster's room with Thane. The steps were worn with the heaviness of ages, hundreds of assassin's having trod through these halls and stairwells. Yin thought again of the connection she had to here: to Thane, to the Guildmaster, to the Guild itself. It was a strong one, and one with more history then she could probably ever hope to entirely know.

Eventually reaching the Guildmaster's room, Thane still looked relatively shaken by their previous conversation. Deciding to take initiative, Yin knocked on the door. "It's Yin and Thane." After receiving the beckoning in of the Guildmaster, the two of them entered and stood before her desk. Yin wondered to herself how this would all play out. Was there some sort of ceremony? Or was she just to be immediately an Assassin? And what sort of contract had she been wanted for?

Anticipation filled Yin's thoughts, and standing before the Guildmaster's desk she awaited the next step in her future to come.

Remi sat at her desk for a while, just reading papers, assigning contracts. Then she heard a knock at the door and a voice say it was Yin and Thane. "Enter." She stated standing as they entered. She moved around the desk, grabbing a book from the shelves as she moved in front of the pair. "When you entered this guild, wether by will or force, you were locked in. You have no option but to obey. Thane taught you everything, and now you have completed your first contract."
Opening the book Remi turned it and held it toward Yin. On the bottom of the page, under a whole host of names was hers. Turning it back around Remi took a needle and scratched across the name before taking Yins finger, then pricking it before having her cross her name out with her blood. The blood seeped into the page and across the scratches. "Congratulations." She stated before moving back, "You now officially don't exist. Do try and keep it that way."

She moved back around her desk and sat down, not saying anything more, just sitting and waiting. It wasn't long before Honan and Leon both joined them in the room. "Good." She stated before saying, "I have a contract for you all, four contracts to be exact. Each of these contracts are tied together and are very important." She stood and handed each of the four a paper, on it had different targets.

Each of the papers had little mentioned, but said just about everything one needed to know about their contract. On Thanes paper it said, 'King. Gruesome death.' Leons contract said, 'The Queen and children. Mauled.' Yin got, 'The Guild Traitor, Kings advisor. Poison.' And Honan had, 'Knight Commander. Choice.' But at the end of all of the papers had the words, 'Destroy anything linking the Guild with the King. No matter how small it may seem. Leave no witnesses.'

Remi leaned her head to the side some before saying, "Your contracts are different, but linked. If one of you fails…I'm counting it as a failure for all four." Her smile changed some to something more sinister, it was only for a brief second, but a second would be all it took to be noticed. "Any additional information you need should be asked now."

The walk up to the guild master's room was hardly eventful, the two men hardly knew each other and they differed so much in killing process that they couldn't discuss that. The trip seemed extremely long because of the silence and upon seeing the guild master's door a sigh of relief escaped Leon's mouth. Whatever pressure was piling on his shoulders had lifted when they reached the guild master's room. 'I hope I never have to take a walk like this again,' he thought pushing his way into the already open door. The Devil Thane was already inside and a rather young girl who appeared to be his apprentice was with him. The guild master had closed a book that Leon was all too familiar with, his blood had been stained on the book over a decade ago but the memory still burned within his mind.

Standing to one side of the room Leon waited until he was handed a slip of paper with the details of a contract he would be taking on. The biggest news of the night was that all four of them in the room would be taking on this contract in a sense of togetherness. Glancing over the contract it appeared that Leon would be getting to kill quite a few people this time. 'The queen and the children? That's helpful, these contracts never give you absolute facts,' he thought reading the rest of the contract. Destroy anything linking the Guild with the King. Leon might not have to worry too much about that part of the contract when dealing with the children but maybe the Queen would have something with her.

Taking a peek at everyone else's contract Leon seemed to have the most work to accomplish that night, moving between two separate locations and killing several targets without being found wasn't the easiest thing to do. 'I'll have to take some kind of emotional suppressant if I'm going to do this right,' he thought not too sure he could keep the supreme bliss he felt when slicing through a person's flesh.

Placing the contract back on the guild master's desk Leon cleared his throat and asked, "The contract doesn't state it but how many children are there? Also are the children all located in one room or do they each have a separate room within the castle?" Placing his hands in the pockets of his jacket Leon waited for everyone else to finish going over their own contracts and the guild master to answer his questions.

Teishi followed Fala quietly to the nearest training ground. "Correct, this was the closest training ground within the Fortress." he nodded, looking around to see if anyone else was using it. However, the place seemed to be entirely void of people, minus him and his Apprentice. The wind blew softly, rustling the leaves in all the trees, whilst a small creek sat off to the right side of the field. "Alright then. The coast seems to be clear as far as any other combatants are concerned." Without another word, Master Teishi walked to the centre of the field, before turning back around to face his Apprentice.

The Mentor got down into a firm stance, holding his left hand up and slightly out, whilst his right arm stayed close to his body, hand open and lined up with his side. "Let's get started then." he called to Fala. "Come at me with everything you have, just short of trying to kill me. Remember, this is just a sparring match, but at the same time I would like to see how you fight. All of your techniques, all your weaknesses and strengths." Teishi was now completely focused, only two objectives in his mind. Defend and Observe. "Ready then?"

(Sorry that it's short. I figured that the fight will give me more to talk about.)

Honan was surprised to find that Thane had been called there as well, along with one of the more fresh members of the guild. He figured this was 'everyone'. Apparently, they would each receive a contract that - while separate - were connected in some way. He didn't understand what she meant by that at first, and upon obtaining the vague instructions... Well, he was still confused. Letting his eyes scroll down the rest of the paper, he found that the contract continued: 'Destroy anything linking the Guild with the King. No matter how small it may seem. Leave no witnesses.'

Something was off about this whole situation, though he would have to shove that notion to the back of his mind. For now.

"A King and a Knight Commander, huh?" he thought about it for a moment. With nothing else to go by, he would have to do some investigation first. Honan didn't mind this, however, as it only added more challenge to the contract.

The Guildmaster hadn't finished speaking yet, though Honan was too wrapped up in his thoughts to pay her much attention. That is, until he heard the word 'fail'. His ears perked in time to catch that last part about them all failing their contract should even just one of them do so. He gave her a quick glance that caught a wicked grin fade from her features. It was then that Honan swallowed what felt to be a stone. He wouldn't be the cause of everyone else's demise, but he was worried about the newer addition to the 'family'.

After a few moments, Leon had asked something about children. Honan's eyelids lowered at this; was Leon's contract to kill children? He had accepted it so easily, and with no remorse detectable in his voice - not by Honan, anyway. He would have to inquire about that later.

With nothing to ask the Guildmaster, Honan folded the contract paper and slid it into his pocket. Though his mind was now more focused on Leon's task than his own.

Fala looked forward at her once master, now opponent. At least that was how she saw it. She had to give a little thought, not ever actually fighting before. She hurried to think of a plan, the wind whistling through her ears. He was using his fist, and she thought of what her answers had been earlier. she honestly didn't know, except for a few simple things. But she would try, no matter what strain she had to have.
"Okay." Fala whispered, and she ran forward, bat in one hand and dagger in belt. She raised her bat. It was all too obvious where it would land, to the right side. But her other hand grabbed at her dagger and she slashed it outward in hopes of possibly catching Teishi off guard and getting a cut or two in him. She didn't want to kill him off course, but at the same time she knew she had to let it all out. Teishi was strong enough to bear a few slashes if what she did worked, but Teishi might be better then that. He might be smarter then her, better to watch out for little tricks like this.
Hoping either the bat would hit him or the dagger, she gulped. It was like slow motion, though it was milliseconds it felt more then that.

From the very moment Fala started to charge forward, Teishi was already gaining information from his opponent. Her entire right side was left unguarded as she ran towards him with her bat, getting set to come out swinging. He expected as much for her first fight in the Order; from what he'd heard, she'd gotten into a few fights before they'd brought her here. It was always good to gather information about someone prior to meeting them, esepcially if you were going to be working with them for a lengthy amount of time. It was a way of making sure that you weren't running in blind, so to speak.

As Teishi prepared to defend against the bat swinging towards his left side, he caught a glimpse of something else flying towards him on his right flank. With less than a second to spare, the Master's left hand swept sideways and caught the bat while it was still in motion. Decades of reinforcement of muscles and joints stopped the object dead in its tracks. Simultaneously Tei's right hand flew foward, balled up into a fist minus his middle finger, which was only partially curled inward. This made it a rather blunt, but powerful weapon.

The mentor was rather precise with his aiming, and the finger struck Fala's left elbow right on the joint. The aim of the small counterattack was to hit the nerve, thereby disarming his opponent of at least one of her weapons. Despite the small victory - for the fight was far from over - Teishi was indeed slightly surprised that she'd thought to charge forward with two weapons drawn so quickly. In most peoples' cases, fighting against and armed opponent with fists was a terribly bad idea. However, Tei was not most people. He'd been doing this for years, and hadn't reached Devil rank with good luck.

"Not bad, Young One. But... I think we both know that you can do a lot better." he smiled, trying to encourage his Apprentice to think more creatively. This would certainly be a good lesson for young Fala.

Fala's moment of determination almost swept out of her for a moment when she saw her move had failed. But she knew she would have to try harder to win against this one, but then again, was she really supposed to win? It wasn't likely she would ever beat Teishi, so she tried not to be too hard on herself. But she didn't have many ideas up her sleeve.
Fala almost yet out a little yelp when Teishi hit her elbow, causing the dagger to swing out of her hand and drop on the ground. It was more shock then hurt, almost making her want to hold onto her elbow but she knew she must keep her hand on the bat.
Fala had always thought she would just be killing normal people. It was just sneak up on them and attack, do whatever it took. A stab of the dagger would be quick work of them, or a swing of the bat. But she was going up against a Devil, here. Would she ever encounter such a beast? It was good to be prepared, however, and perhaps one day she would come across an even worse foe.
Her head was hurting. She didn't know what to do, she felt as if there was no other option but defeat. She was not creative at all. She was smart, sure, but in other aways. Strategizing she was fine at in the right circumstances, but now her mind was blank.
So Fala swung, resolving to be fast and not use up too much energy. If she could even touch him she would be happy, but it was pathetic and she knew it.

(When you said "swung", I wasn't sure what with, so I went on the assumption that she was using her left arm.)

Though he couldn't read her mind, Teishi could see that Fala was having difficulty coming to grips with the fact that nearly everything she knew in terms of combat and killing were wrong. That you needed to suss out an opponent and that if an opponent was too strong, it was necessary to keep out of range as long as it took you to find his or her weak spot. Even better was waiting until an opponent was too tired to make a move and then attack them as they make an inevitable mistake. Suddenly Fala pressed onward once more, throwing a fist towards her mentor's gut.

Teishi moved swiftly to counter again, pushing the oncoming fist downwards with a right handed, open palm strike. Once again, his strikes were completely defensive, keeping Fala on her toes about what to do next. Though he was saying nothing, he was attempting to teach her how an opponent couldn't always been brought down using brute force. The mentor could see the confusion in his pupil's eyes, and felt some small amount of regret for a moment. But within milliseconds any thoughts of regret had disappeared. He was simply doing his job as a Master to an Apprentice. She would learn soon enough.

Both the combatants continued to hold Fala's bat rather tightly, and Teishi would have to give his Apprentice credit later for being able to hold it in place for so long. However, it was time to bring the sparring match to an end; he anticipated that she'd be doing a *whole* lot more studying today and tonight. Quickly, the Master stepped inwards, one leg sweeping through in an attempt to take her feet out from under her. He could've been a lot harsher, but Fala had been through a lot today, and it just didn't seem right. "Alright, I think that's enough for now. I have all the information I need." Letting go of the bat, the Mentor took a step back and bowed to his no-longer opponent.

The 'ceremony,' if you could call it that, was rather sinister. Yin couldn't help but feel that something very bad had just happened to her, but she tried to keep it pressed at the back of her mind. She was an assassin now. Time to get to work. Still...

"You now officially don't exist. Do try and keep it that way."

No. Focus. She'd been given her contract, and her's was to kill the traitor assassin who was now under the King's loyalty. Yin reeled for a moment. Wouldn't this be more of an appropriate thing for the Angel of Death to handle? But again, no, she had to focus. She thought it out, she reasoned out why the Guildmaster would give her this target out of all the others.

On a practical level, the traitor would most often be alone. Being an advisor he would be free to move about relatively unrestrained and probably keep small company due to his position and circumstances. Meal time would be best for the kill then. If he was too surrounded then his bedchamber would be best. A traitor is not a man who would easily surround himself with others. No, he would most often be alone, making it ideal for a silent kill. A poisonous kill.

Yin then moved on to the why. Why her? She looked up from the contract at the Guildmaster. The Guildmaster was not so much intimidating to Yin as she was... enthralling. The new assassin found something fascinating about the Guildmaster, the way she toyed about with the world. There was something similar between them, the way both she and the Guildmaster explored the world about them. While Yin was familiar with how to kill a person's body, the Guildmaster was skilled in killing their mind. Thinking to herself that she might ask for lessons at some point, Yin again concentrated on the why.

Why her? She was new. She was young. The Guildmaster most likely wanted this as a test of resolve. Was Yin ready to kill for the Guild, even if it meant killing another assassin, albeit a traitorous one? That was the main cause, the real test. In killing the traitor, Yin would prove her own loyalty over his.

She thought all of this rapidly, in a matter of seconds. Yin's brain had always been her greatest tool, and now it was time for her to put it to work.

Fala's sides were heaving as she breathed heavily. She watched as her master bowed to her. She knew it was a simple act of kindness but it felt odd because she would have thought he would be making her bow to him. Or at least that way made more sense.
Fala took the bat in her hand and bowed back. "I didn't try hard enough. But I have only been here for a few days and you have not told me of any of these strategies you want me to use. Teach me, I want to become stronger." She didn't know if it was a rude thing to say, because obviously he was trying to teach her but he hadn't really gotten to the true fighting part yet. Just books to study she didn't understand, but at the same time she hoped it mean't she was willing to learn more and be a humble student. Whatever made her escape from this title of apprentice.
She picked up the dagger from the dirt and positioned it back in her belt. Drops of liquid fell upon her bare arm and she looked up with squinted eyes. It was starting to rain.

Thane had been lost in thought for most of the way to the Guildmasters office. He had been thinking about how his life would have differed if he never lost his sight and if he would still even be alive. It seemed like hours before Yin knocked on the door and announced their precense to the Guildmaster. Sighing he realised he had been so lost in thought that anyone with a knife could have stabbed him and he wouldnt know until it was to late. Listening quietly to the Guildmaster Thane made mental notes of what to ask her and upon being handed a piece of paper another one came to mind. "Would you be so kind as to tell me what this says?" He said proffering the paper back to the Guildmaster.

Remi watched as each looked over their paper, then looked toward Thane with confusion when he offered the paper back to her. She looked at it before running her hand across it, "Upside down." She stated to herself before saying, "You will kill the king the way you do best, by beheading him. And also making sure to destroy anything that may link the guild. That of course would include servants who just happen to over hear things." The last part was said more to everyone than just Thane.
She then looked over the rest of the group, taking note of the Honan's readiness, and the slight confusion, but still over all readiness of the newest assassin Yin, the woman probably wondering why she was picked for this.

Remi then turned toward Leon as he asked about the children. "He has two, well technically three unless the queen has been getting fat these last few months. I would suggest striking at night so they would be in their rooms, which is fairly close to the royal bedchamber, and they have their own rooms." Moving over she started digging through her shelves looking for something, opening various scrolls before eventually moving over to her desk and holding open a hand drawn map done by another assassin who had a 'job' there. The map showed each rooms, though the distance between the rooms did seem a bit off at times. "All of you will probably need to split up some to get each of your targets before a guard notices a body. One of you can take the crude map if you want it, though I would like it back, you'll never know when you'll need to get into and out of the castle again."

She grinned as she thought about what the King would say before his death. He might try and ask why they were killing him, he might beg for his life, the only danger was if he was talking to someone about his plan to make the guild 'useful to furthering 'good''

Teishi shook his head as his Apprentice attempted to make excuses. "There is a reason I haven't actively tried to teach you anything that relates to combat yet - minus the books I gave you to study." The Master rubbed his temples again, realising it was becoming more and more of a habit. "The whole idea of this sparring match was so that I could gauge your skill. Find out what you knew already, and what you could learn merely by experiencing a mock fight. In addition, it was also the point of this match to see how you would handle yourself in a real combat situation."

The problem here was that young Fala wasn't taking enough initiative, something that only she could do herself, no mentor could teach her that. But the lesson wasn't over yet. "You say you didn't try hard enough. You know for a fact that you were holding something back, even though I specifically said 'Come at me with *everything* you have.' Once again, this is an example of a failure to listen and follow an order, Fala. While it is your first real practical training exercise, I was expecting a little more from you..." As the rain began to come down, Teishi felt himself cooling off. He loved the feel of rain after a battle, even if it was just a mock fight. It also gave him an idea.

"Again." Instructed the Master, getting back into stance. "And if I feel you holding back again, I won't." The tone of his voice was example enough to show that he was far from joking. Fala would have to feel as though she were in real danger, in a real combat situation. Teishi had only performed this kind of training exercise once before, and the Apprentice had only barely pulled through. It was time to see if Fala could do the same.

The feeling in the room had apparently changed when Leon had so nonchalantly spoken about killing children. It was part of the job, Leon had long since separated himself from what would be considered human sympathy and the only thing he saw in people any more was how beautiful a blood fountain they could create if he were to cut them up. Glancing over his paper one last time Leon shrugged and placed the paper back on the guild master's desk.

Touching the tip of his nose Leon waited while the guild master assisted the blind Devil that would be taking out the main target of this mission. 'A blind man taking out the king? What's next letting deaf assassin's take part in infiltration missions only to find out that they are heavy footed,' he thought smirking at his own terrible joke. Glancing back at the guild master a shiver of terror or maybe excitement ran through Leon.

Sure she was young and quite brutal but what kind of screams would she make if Leon were to cut her up. What kind of blood fountain would erupt from her body, all of these things suddenly ran through his mind as he watched the two converse. 'No, don't succumb to your animal instincts,' he thought ball up his hands into fists and drawing a bit of blood.

After awhile the guild master brought out a map of the royal castle. The rooms of the children and queen weren't so far apart but hitting three different rooms without being found out would be difficult. There was always the chance that a guard would get nosy and check in on how each target was doing at some point in the night and given the type of assassination that he was going to be pulling off it would quickly become apparent that someone had murdered these people. Another shiver ran through Leon's body as he imagined the large amounts of blood covering the walls and everything in sight.

Fala listened. Her eyes showed a single second of shock when she understood what he had said. I won't hold back either... Her teacher wanted to fight again, but this time she would have to let out all her strength... as if it were life or death. She knew he wouldn't kill her but she made her mind think that way so she could do the best she could. No matter how much she tried she would never defeat him, but she could try to come close.
Fala's master got in a stance of readiness, but it was not even a second after that she attacked. She would not loose her two weapons, the bat and the dagger. She would use them to the best of her ability. Fala eyes focused intensely on the target area she was going for, while at the same time flashing back to see what moves he would make. Her feet moved swiftly, and soon she was behind him with the dagger inches away from slicing into his back.

They had received their mission(s) and had no further questions for the Guildmaster. Now all that was left was to prepare for the journey ahead. As soon as they were dismissed, Honan headed for the exit and let out a sigh of relief upon passing its threshold. He had no doubt that he would succeed in his task, and that Thane would in his, however Leon and Yin's contracts worried him. Yin was to eliminate the traitor, who was - after all - a more experienced assassin than she was. Should she fail, they would all be killed. And then there was Leon, who would surely butcher those poor children and their possibly pregnant mother.

Outside of the office, Honan approached Yin and placed his hand upon her shoulder. He cleared his throat and gestured for her to walk with him. "Let's chat somewhere private," he said with a soft smile. "Though your place is probably better than mine."

He knew there wasn't much he could do about her contract, but he wanted to at least try to do something about Leon's. In his mind, an elaborate plan was in the works. All he would need is the right concoction from Yin, and a chat with Leon later on about their respective marks.

The Guildmaster probably loved her job. To Yin being an assassin was more about a way to gain knowledge and feel secure in herself than take pleasure, but for that woman, it was surely about pleasure.

They were dismissed and Yin was about to get her stuff moved up to her room and see about formulating a plan for the assassination when a hand fell upon her shoulder. It was that thief, Honan. Yin had never particularly been involved with him in anyway, but he seemed amicable enough. His intentions seemed very serious, probably to deal with the contracts. Did he think she wasn't prepared enough?

"Sure. I was just about to unpack my new room, we can speak there." Her room would require quite a bit of unpacking which would provide a good amount of time to think over the ways in which she could challenger her target. It'd have to be remote, not like the last mission. Perhaps at meal time? She mulled over the possibilities as she and the purple haired housebreaker made their way to her new living quarters.

The tower, just as she had hoped, had had an open room, and it was just the spiraling, cozy little spot she had hoped for. Opening her door, she invited to Honan to come in and immediately set off about unpackaging her belongings and setting things about. "Is this about our contracts? If you're thinking poison for yours I could probably concoct something in addition. I think it'd be nice to work together in some way, since we'll be failing if one of us doesn't succeed, don't you think?" Crates, bags, and careful packing supplies all held her instruments and necessary equipment to concoct kills. She wondered, as she had stated, if he needed some of this.

Once he entered her room, he closed the door behind him. This was a contract in which their ties should not be linked to. To him, that meant that any assassin not involved didn't need to know. A lot of people weren't too fond of the Guildmaster, and although he was included in that lot, he couldn't even fathom the chaos that would erupt should they fail and word got out. Any one within the guild with a grudge could easily use this particular contract in their favor, get in good graces with the royal family, and betray their brothers and sisters out of spite for their new leader. Truthfully, that thought only came to mind because he considered it. For a moment.

He would have little to gain from it though, as he already had everything he could ever want. The aftermath of such an event would also be too much for him to manage alone. And who was to say that the new management would be any better anyway?

With his mind still working, Honan finally spoke, "Yeah, this is all about our next mission," he took a few steps further into the room to get away from the door, and lowered his voice a bit. "Rather than a poison, I'm wondering if you've got anything to put someone to sleep. Preferably with as little pain as possible."

He knew this request would sound odd, coming from an assassin, but he had hoped that he got to Yin before she became "numb" like the rest of them.

Remi gave a smile as everyone let their targets sink in. She took note of the shivers through Leons body, the first one was when he glanced toward her, the second happened not much later, Remi could only imagine that they were from his contracts. Fear was a possibility, but judging by how tightly he was clenching his fists it was easier to assume it was excitement, anticipation, blood lust.

When Honan and Yin left Remi moved over to Leon and asked him to stay behind when everyone else left. She waited until Thane left, answering any other questions he had. Once he left she moved around Leon seemingly looking him over before saying, "I can assume that your offer to become my disciple was less for combat, more for my motions. Fluidity of attacks can be helpful even to the most brutal of massacres. After all if your tripping over your own feet how can you do anything worthwhile?" She drew one of her needles with her left hand and started to run the flat piece over her other hand. "Then again perhaps you actually do want to learn my combat, after all more ways to kill never hurt anyone." She stopped in front of Leon and held the needle out for him to take. "Which is it?"

"Sleep?" Yin hadn't exactly expected that answer. She set the poison case she had just been pulling out to look through for him back in the crate and turned to eye him with a mix of confusion and suspicion. Yin thought quickly, her mind racing around the possible uses of a sleeping potion with his contract.

Honan had been assigned to kill the Knight Commander, the man in charge of the forces of the king. Being a thief, Honan might wish to put his mark to sleep before killing him. He didn't seem of the same style of killing as Leon did, so this perhaps was the best answer.

Although...

Honan may not want the potion for himself. The kids comment had riled everyone up a bit, and Yin knew it didn't sit well with her either. Perhaps This was a ploy to get Leon to use the sleeping potion? But that didn't make sense. Even if you were to coat your claws in the potion, Leon would still hurt them with them. And Yin didn't imagine that Honan could get Leon to just dump the potion of his marks. So that left one more option.

Yin's mind settled down from thinking, the thoughts on why he would need the potion all occurring within the setting down of the poison case and the time it took to turn towards Honan to look at him. "May I ask why, or is that not really appropriate?"

Walking slowly and quietly through the halls he waited until the foot steps receded. Stopping at the cool breeze of a window he placed his hand of the edge and hopped over. He made sure to keep hold of the edge and began to scale up the the top of the tower. Upon reaching the top he wrapped his hand around the flag staff amd hung there. The skull of a king that would be the pinnacle of his life. That would be the grandest achievement he would ever make. The crown would make a nice trinket for him. The warm sun on his face was most pleasing and the sounds of people training down below was relaxing.

Steeling his mind he let go of the the flag pole and began to run. Taking a leap he let his body sail through the air. It was a leap of faith if he had dove in the wrong direction then he would fall to his death but if not he would land on a roof and continue running. His life was like a walk on a daggers edge any misstep be it to the left or right would send him to his doom. The thrill of laughing at Death was the only one he felt any longer and that was why he was doing this. Five, four... Limbering up he prepared to roll should the building be there, three, two... Curling his arms toward his body he began to roll, one. A soft landing, the roll had did its job perfectly and allowed him to immediately spring up and continue onward.

Four and hour he did the with each leap sending him onto a different lower building top until eventually he was at ground level. For such an old man he felt as if he were still in his prime. He was still eager for the next contract, the next mark, and the next kill. Finding a familiar spot he began to make his way toward his room.
