He shook his pale head slightly and his white eyes looked around. Power was off ,and seeing as how there weren't ice crystals forming he wasn't trapped in space. As he got up he remembered what had happened. A damned G'yu ship had shot him down, but he also remembered a one of his own missels ahd damaged the opposing ship. Maybe they had been destryoed during reentry. He felt around for the secondary power witch and he flicekd the small red switch. Atleast one outter-camera veiw screen came on, but it was very fuzzy and only showed black plants. The reports of this word had said something about it being a jungle planet, he hadn;t bothered looking it completely, he and his new partner, Taline K-Tah. Speaking of her......He rushed to their shared living quarters. she was fifty years his Elder, so she got to choice of which bunk to have. He had last seen her sleeping in there, get some much needed rest after she had stayed up on patrol all 'night', they took turns for taking watch. The room was darker than the rest of ship so it took his eyes a moment to adjust to the darkness. did he see a pale body sleeping on the cot or was that juts a rolld up mess of blankets? The crashed had tossed stuff around so for all he knew Taline was i nthe other room, bleeding to death. Edited by soulpelt, March 24, 2011, 9:17 pm.

They'd been a team on the site for a few hours now, so there was a patch of flat land around the rest of the area. Shannon flicked switches and pushed buttons as the ship came to rest. "All systems, power down" A electronic voice bleeped out to the ship. Shannon heard the voice in her head before she actually heard it over the speaker. Her brain had picked up the signals before all the speakers had. The ship was a small vessel, but had a squad of four on board. Shannon finished final system checks before looking out the window. It was light outside, with a mass of jungle, and a slight brown mist in the distance. It looked like a plume of smoke. "Well" she thought "on a planet this large, it must have quite a few forest fires"

She tucked her unnaturally colored hair behind her ear as she drew her knees up to her chest. She was mumbling to herself, considering the pros and cons of taking this job. So far, her fun had yet to begin. She giggled to herself as she stood, folding her cyborg arms across her chest. She moved back to her room, immediately going to her hoard of weapons. She could never have enough weapons. She sat down on her bed, taking apart and reassembling a gun. "When is the fun going to begin?" She mumbled under her breath, though in the language of her father, not of humans.

Internet Explorer 8	It had been a relatively normal scouting mission with nothing major in the way of human ships spotted in the last few weeks. They were scheduled to scout out a new quadrant near a lush jungle planet. For lack of a name Kaline had begun to refer to the planet as the jungle. Her new partner was Relac who was fifty years he junior was the pilot of thier two man ship. They had been stationed out at outpost Telric Nichut five week ago and all had been quiet. She had grown flustered at being a war hero placed in this quiet sector but as the weeks grew on she became accustomed to the quietness and began to relax. Recently they had gotten reports of movements down on the planet. The higher up thought it was just animal movements but just to be safe they decided to send out a scouting ship. That was how Kaline and Relac had come to be out near the planet today. Everything was smooth at first and being the ships navigator Kaline kept a close eye on the radar. About five miles out from the planets rim a small blip appeared on the screen followed by two faster blips. They was all the warning Kaline had before the ship was impacted. Upon impact both the ships reactors blew causing massive damage to the small vessel. Their ship crash landed in the dense forest hitting dozens of trees on the way down. Relac had been lucky and was strapped in the ship but the small window in thier quarters were Kaline worked from burst open at impact sending her flying out into the forest. Her last thought was I can not die like this before she blacked out.

Was she alive? His people were pack hunters by nature, meaning they never went anywhere alone. One was the lookout and the other the warrior. He finally noticed the broken window. There was some dired grey stuff on some buckled metal and broekn glass. He looked out the window and his three eyes were momentariyl blinded by the light. Whe they adjusted he thought he saw his partners body lying off in the jungle. wheather she was alive or not he couldn't tell. Saying a quick prayer to The Hunter he headed to the armory, grabbing two plasma pistols which had enough charge for about six or seven hundred shots. He jumped out of the ship and found himself atleats ten feet in the air/. lower gravity than his homeworld. Good. That meant he nad his partner had the advantage of speed and strength, however it also meant that unless he could get the gravity generator up and running then he and Kaline would be in trouble.. They woudl grow weaker. The Hunter would no accept that.
