Sky High School;
A High School for the Ones with Super Powers

From capes to outfits to names to side kicks, every super hero has to start somewhere. That’s where Sky High School or SHS comes in, but well get to that later.. In this futuristic world, Super Villains and Heroes are a natural occurance, they have alter egos of course but when the town needs saving from a Villan or two there is sure to be a hero on their tail.
SHS watches every student in the Ninth and Tenth grade, and if they show the right ‘stuff’ they are looking for at SHS they send them an Invitation to join the school under parental consent. They then are shipped off as a junior and thrown right into ‘selection’ where they test you and see if you really do have what they are looking for, which is any super power in anyway shape or form.
After the whole process ends you are finally accepted into SHS and you are there the entire school year. You don’t know exactly where you are in the world, and you cant really leave until the year is over. But you do know if you somehow escape …there is NO way back in.
There is also rumors going around. Not everyone believes them but they are saying that the people running this school aren’t completely just prepping you for your future in being a Super Hero; you’re being prepped for something that no one knows about. Or so you think, apparently the Future Villan Clique is saying they know what they are being prepared for and the Future Heros of the school want in on the secret at any cost, but the Villans aren't about to give it up that simply.
Things you should know

Lucinda Barlow awoke, her dark grey eyes being revealed behind her heavy eyelids. Memories flashed behind her eyes, she had been in this situation before. But last time when people were waking up they were freaking out wondering where they were. But Lucy was expirenced, she knew exactly where she was, Sky High School, Home Sweet Home.
With an unsatisfied smirk she slumped in the padded chair resting her arm on the arm rest and her head on her hand. She felt like she had a really bad hang over, and her eyes blinked delicatly still adjusting to the florescent lights above.
When she felt like she could stand she did, and moved to an empty chair in front of the two-way mirror. The selection hadn't started just yet...
Surveying the large full of padded chairs with sleepy looking children in them, she looked for a reconginzable face she could talk to. But coming up with nothing she turned back to the mirror which looked down onto the new students chair filled room and three other rooms. Two of them were also filled with chairs but about half of the first chair filled room, the giant room in the middle was set up with a table with teachers and pens and papers, lots of papers. In the middle of the room was a circular stage with stairs leading up to it.
A memory of her being on that stage filled her mind and swirled around...She thought of all the questions about her ... gift or so they called it. They also wanted her to demonstrate on a dummy but she explained to them that you cant see it and all it would do was get posion on the dummy.
But after a year of being at the High School she has realized she can do much more than just touch and kill. She can shoot the poision out of her finger tips and she can also cover things with poision, to wait for its unwilling victim. Shuddering at the things she could do with her so called gift she crossed her arms and her perpetual smirk turned to an angry stare.

__________________________________________________________________________

Arabella Stone awoke, her mind instantly asked 'where am I?' wiping the sleep out of her eyes she sat up in her comfy padded chair. She felt overly tired and for the most part confused. Although she knew where she could be, Sky High School, its not where her body thought it was. Blinking away the rest of the sleep she saw a ton of students surrounding her in chairs either waking up or still sleeping, their bodies slack in the same type of chair she was in. Looking around she became overwhelmed with the amount of students in the room, 'All these kids have powers like I do?' she thought amazed at the sum of teens surrounding her.
The last thing she remembers is being in her home, with all of her personal belongings packed neatly in four Louis Vitton suitcases. Sitting paitently on the couch in the foyer. Her parents gone for the day out golfing with friends, they had exchanged their final goodbyes the night before over a meal prepared by their house keeper Mariah.
Arabella looked closely around the room, other than the two chairs there was a window. In the window you could see a large stage with steps and a table with people sitting and chatting. Next to the window there was a Sign, and a door. Squinting her eyes from the distance she then read the sign:
When you awake please, one at a time enter the room beyond the door.
With a gulp she stood her legs a little shaky, walking slowly over to the door, she seemed like the only one totally awake enough to see the sign. She then stood in front of the white door. With a deep calming breath she put her hand on the door handle and puilled it open and walked into the very large room. When the door shut behind her she stood there waiting for the people at the table to notice her. When they did they all smiled largely at her making her slightly uncomfortable.
One of the men at the table spoke with a booming voice which made her cringe at the loud noice. "Please step onto the stage and tell us your name." With a hesitant step she began her way onto the stage. When she stood in the middle she was worried of what they would think of her, what if they didnt think her power was good enough to attend the school? "My name is Arabella Stone."
"Power?" the booming voice asked.
With another cringe she said "Uh I dont know the technical name, but I can make duplicates of myself."
Silence from the teachers when they just looked at her. Making her start to sweat. "Well. On with it! Do it!" The man demanded.
She then took a calming breath and shut her eyes for a moment and concentrated. A moment or two passed when she opened her eyes there were six other Arabellas surrounding her mimicing her. All of the teachers started to nod and the other Arabellas started shifting nervously portraiting her nervousness.
"Room 1, please." The man said and all of them looked down at their paperwork on the table. With another moment all of the bodies were back inside of her, as well as everything they saw while they werent inside of her. On the turn of her heels she walked back down the stairs and she hadn't seen this through the window but there were two doors one labled Room 1 and one labled Room 2. She sighed and walked into Room 1 another room full of the same type of chairs. With a heavy sigh of relief she took a seat. This room didnt have any windows into the big room like the other big room.
Arabella soon became bored and lonely, she needed someone to talk to and she wasn't going to be weird and pull one of the Arabellas out to talk to like she usually did, she wanted to make a good impression with the other kids if she was going to stay here...

Adrien Baine

"Why yes, I think I will wear my watch today, Anette. Could you run and grab it for me? It should be on my dresser. Please hurry though, I wouldn't want to be late for school." Adrien kindly said to one of his maids as he waited near the front door of his home. He had just finished the painful task of giving and receiving goodbye after goodbye. The villa staff had all wished him the best of luck, which set him in a bright and cheery mood the whole morning.. *

Anette returned not five minutes later with the young master's watch in hand but to her surprise he was nowhere to be found. She panicked for a moment but presumed his ride to the school had arrived while she was gone. She sighed at her failure to be fast enough and then silently wished Adrien a safe journey.

Somewhere entirely different Adrien found himself sitting in a rather comfortable chair surrounded by sleepy eyed fellow youth. While they were all just waking up he was perfectly awake upon arrival but for the life of him could not remember the last several hours. He lifted his wrist to check the time but to his dismay he was not wearing his watch. While he could conjure a watch, it would not help much since it would not be set.

"I wonder where I am." he thought to himself as he scanned the room. There appeared to be very few awake already, and many looked to be from North America. A girl moving towards a door into another room caught his eye as he scanned the room. He followed soon after her and read the sign. Adrien waited on the other side of it accordingly. He could hear voices on the other side. They were speaking of powers, one of them quite boisterously. Adrien's assumptions were confirmed, this must have to do with Sky High School. His thoughts were interrupted as a voice on the other side commanded the girl to move on to room one.

Once sufficient time had passed he pulled open the door and entered the stage room, displaying a pleasant smile to those sitting in the room. He graciously tucked one arm against his stomach and gave them a slight bow of respect. All together Adrien looked rather overdressed for this, sporting black dress pants, a white dress shirt complete with a tie and an unbuttoned black suit jacket overtop it. "Bonjour, my name is Adrien Baine. It is a pleasure to have been invited to this school." he greeted them all reverently and then awaited instruction.

One of the people sitting by the stage directed him onto it. A few of them seemed impressed with the way he presented himself, others not so much. Either way, Adrien moved onto the stage and stood before them. All eyes were on him and yet he was unshaken. Having eyes be on him was something he had adapted to. Whether it be making appearances with his father, or being at a social events, he seldom went without some eyes on him.

"Please show us your powers, Adrien." one of the women at the table requested of him.

"Why of course. I could not refuse something requested so kindly." he replied with a gracious smile before holding his hand out to them. Immediately a rose in full bloom appeared in his hand. Several of the people by the stage looked very unimpressed by this. Adrien paid no mind to them and threw the rose up in the air. The flower started to change shape as it rose in the air and by the time it had reached the apex of its rise it had become a card, a jack of hearts specifically. The card slowly floated down and its shape started to distort once again. By the time what was once a card had landed in his hand it had become a small pistol.

"I do not really care for weapons, but considering the harmful nature of most superpowers I've heard about, I thought you might like to see some practical use." Adrien said to them with obvious disgust at the weapon in his hand. As soon as he finished the gun dissolved into something of a black sand which disappeared as it ran off his hand. Once it had all disappeared he clapped his hands together to rid them of any residue.

"Very good, Adrien, you may continue to room one."

"Thank you very much." Adrien concluded politely and moved off the stage and into room one where he took a seat to wait for the droves of fellow students to arrive.

---
* Being from France, his departure time would have to fall in line with early morning in North America is my assumption. So he would be arriving in the early afternoon, ~7 hour difference.

When Ivan Alexeevich Kharkov felt himself awaken, his eyes did not want to open. They resisted, pleading for Ivan to keep them closed so that the pounding headache that was already irritating him would not worsen. Mercilessly Ivan tore them open, and immediately squinted; it felt like the light in the room was far too bright. "What an annoyance..." he murmured to himself in Russian. It was some time before he realised there were other people around him, and groggily his mind came to the logical conclusion.

Ah. This is Sky Highschool. Was it absolutely necessary to whisk me off in the middle of...whatever the bloody hell I was doing? This day is already getting off to a rightly irritating start....

He pushed himself from his seat, and looked around. Other students, bustling around, some confused, others apparently familiar with this. He made himself distant from them all; the last thing he needed now was some annoying idiot trying to befriend him. It was far too soon for Ivan to gauge who was and was not 'interesting'--that is, whom Ivan would and would not allow to 'associate' with him.

A sign. Ivan made his way towards it, as a girl had already done. Before his very eyes, the girl became six girls, all identical. His eyes narrowed. So this is the extent of these peoples' abilities...interesting. But now, it seemed, it was his turn. Curling his lips somewhat, Ivan stepped forward onto the little 'stage'.

"Tell us your name," a voice boomed from the table at which the apparent authority figures sat.

"Ivan Alexeevich Kharkov," he reported in a bored, uncaring tone. What was the use of these pointless things?

"And your ability?"

"Far too extensive and far too many possibilities for me to name it all now," Ivan fired off like a droning machine gun. "I can give examples. I can implant memories, or I can remove them--I can implant feelings, emotions, love, hate, friendship, and I can cull them out." Then he added, "I can make the mind of my target burn in agony if I wish."

The apparent leader of the group raised an eyebrow at this, but remained calm and collected as ever. "Can you demonstrate this?"

Ivan shrugged. For a moment, it seemed, nothing happened. And then one of the men seated there stood up clearly and, without looking at anyone, walked to the door leading back to the other room, and walked through it. A second later, he returned, and calmly sat down.

"Hmmm?" the leader turned to the man inquisitively.

"I felt a strong desire to go back to that room," the man said, sounding, however, as if he knew exactly what he had been doing. "Sorry about that."

The leader turned back to Ivan. "Very interesting."

"And that's not nearly the full potential of it," Ivan said in response, to which the leader replied with a slow nod. "Room 1." was all he said aloud.

"It's like the universe screams in your face, 'Do you know what I am? Do you know how grand I am, how old I am? Can you even comprehend what I am? What are you compared to me?' And when you've realised the truth and abandoned the fantasies, you can calmly smile back to the universe and say, 'Dude, I am you.'"

‘Be a good boy for mommy Dash.’ Her sweet voice rang out in the light that consumed him, he could feel her soft gentle hands wrap themselves around his face as he peered down into her dying face. ‘Mommy loves you…’

Dash woke up with a start with the familiar taste of something unpleasant that made him crave his morning cup of monster. He rubbed his head and fixed his lopsided goggles so that they fit correctly over his forehead. He cracked his neck, fixed his gloves, and then jumped up and stretched a bit. He really hated waking up to viewing room, it was a nice room and all but the fun didn’t start till he got to his dorm room and met the new slur of courses. Plus he couldn’t wait to get his hands on some new tech to hack his way through, or some new building structures of which to jump over.

Just the thoughts brought his lips into a smile. His bright blue eyes fixated on the inpouring of students that where flooding through the doors. “Duplicator, Tinker, creator…” Dash gave a lot of the reoccurring powers, and rare powers he saw names so he could remember them later. He walked to the glass and noticed a familiar face… Lucinda Barlow, a gentle smile swept across his face. “well, well, well, my first day at school and I run into the queen bee herself, it is truly a honor.” He said bowing gracefully. “You know my offer still stands, you can always cross over to my team and feel what real power is.” He joked knowing he wasn’t really the greatest at anything. “think about Luc, the queen and the prince? What better combo?”

Lucinda sat watching through the Mirror with her head in her hand. She was unseemingly bored and she just wanted to get to her dorm so she could talk to people she was kinda bored. So she concentrated on which room everyone was getting sent too.
The first girl made her raise her eyebrows slightly. "Interesting..." She said with a slight raise of her eyebrows.
The first boy made her think it was all a magic act. But when he pulled the gun she knew Mr.Boom would say something but he didnt because of the utter disgust the boy had made on his face when he had created it.
The second boy didnt do anything he just talked, which made her remember of what she did when she went up onto the stage last year, she felt stupid that she had nothing to show.
The next thing she knew some voice was speaking to her. She glanced around and saw Dash standing by her chair. With a dramatic roll of her eyes she sat up and her dagger gray eyes boring straight into Dash's, her voice dripping with poision. "Yeah too bad for you. I dont think this will be the first time our paths will cross my dear. So dont get so comfortable."
When he continued on about the offer he makes to cross over to the deadly Hero side she looked around the room and stood up jabbing her finger near his chest carefull not to touch, Sky High had a strict rule about not killing people with your powers. Plus it would be a while before she could get to her dorm to grab her black gloves to kind of protect everyone from being poisioned. "I already told you, my powers are only good for one thing, and thats to kill. So unless heroes go around killing people then sign me up." She brought her hand down and with utter disgust she sat down. Lucinda was so sick of telling people why she was a Villian. Wasnt her attitude enough?

"Hmm....", A soft but grumpy moan echoed in Alberio's throat as his tongue started to clean his teeth, his mind fuzzy, a bit confused, but he was in a comfy chair at least. He blinked a few times coming around and looking about were other kids in chairs slept or were up and walking around making their way to a door with a sign over it. This must have been Sky School High. That was one question out of the way, second one was were in hell did his bike go? He had planned to ride it here once they gave him directions.... which brought up the third question of just how he had got here. "Aw...hell....", he spoke it lightly under his voice figuring they must have drugged him as his hand came up to his forehead.

Taking a deep sigh he stood up and found his balance before looking over to the door and the back of the kid that just walk through it. "Tch, might as well get it over with.", he muttered as he strided over to the door and kicked it open. The door swung open with ease as if there was no lock, behind it the same kid he saw before walked into another room and a few heads turned his way apparently disapproving of having their door kicked open. Alberio just chuckled.

One of the men stared hard as he said, "Please step onto the stage and give us your name."

Alberio just shrugged and followed the man's directions deciding there was no need to make a total ass out of himself quiet yet and spoke up as he said, "Alberio Sol."

One of the teachers looked down as if to check his name off as the man spoke again, "Power?"

"Right..." The question ruffled his feathers a bit, it was bad enough that they drugged him up and now they wanted to him to entertain them like a jumping monkey? Whatever. He raised his arm up to make sure they were looking in the right place and took a deep breath before changing his entire hand into metal his fingers changed into daggers. He then started to move and bend his fingers to show that it was still his hand and quite capable as just that if need be, "I can do that to any part of my body and freely change the shape, length, width, and depth of the weapons I change into." He had left out the part of it taking a lot of energy and kinda leaving his hand numb after words. They could figure that out on his own. Same with the weight issue, his hand was real metal and just as heavy. Then just for a bit of added effect he winked at the younger woman with a few papers in her arms.

The teachers looked at each other and seemed to agree then the man asked him to step into room 1 as the woman he winked out ignored him. Alberio let down his hand and shrugged as he got off the stage and started to walk towards to the door they had pointed to as his hand shifted back to flesh and pricked with the same numb sensation that you get when your foot or leg falls asleep. Oh well, could have been worse.

Sky High
6:00am day before new arrivals

Buzz buzz buzz buzz
A groan came from beneath the covers as Samantha was rudely awoken by her alarm clock. In her half stupor she raised her fist and brought it down on the clock only to hear a smash. Sighing she looked at the smashed clock. "That's the third one this month. I really have to watch what I'm doing. Come in" she said right before a soft rapping came from the door. That ability of yours always freaks my out Sam came the voice of Jude her best friend at the school. As he walked through the door his face blushed a bright red as his eyes met her naked body. Your such a tease Sam. Its like you flaunt your body for all the drooling guys. Sometimes I wish you weren't gay Sam. Now could you please put on some clothes?" Looking down at her naked body a slight blush came to her face. Oh sorry Jude, I just woke up. I have heard that a lot all the guys wish I was straight so I would date them but guys just don't catch my interest like that. Sorry man, now cmon grab me a shirt out of my closet and close the door before someone else sees me.

Sky High
8:00am

A yawn came out of Samanthas mouth as she slowly came to. She expected to be faced with the darkness of her room as she opened her eyes only to find herself blinded. She had had a momentary lapse in memory and has forgotten about the new arrivals. Ugh this is going to be a long morning she groaned before surveying the room. Most of the other students were still sleeping as she stood. She could see Jude slumped over two chairs in the back which made he giggle. Among the ones awake were Lucinda. That girl had piqued her intrest since she first came to sky high. She didn't know why but just the thought of being with a bad girl like Lucinda always got her hot. Smiling slightly she made her way over to the glass window. She turned her back to it and leaned against it looking at Lucinda. If it isn't the hottest villian on campus. How are you doing this morning dear Lucy? If she could have an hour alone witb her she could make all her dreams come true. The sad thing was though she didn't know Lucindas sexuality and even if she turned out to be a lesbian as well was there really any chance that the leader of the villiam clique would date a hero? Her smile turned slightly sour at the thought but that quickly vanished as she looked down at the stage. She was a sucker for parlor tricks and the way the boy spun the fire around just made her face light up.

Drader woke up from the soft embrace of the nymph of a girl he was holding to find his arms wrapped around not a body, but the arm of a very soft and plushy chair. Straightening up, his eyes snapped open, the soft light around him not blinding him at first. He shook his head and stood up, looking around at the rest of the chairs, some of which still contained chairs. Nervously fiddling with one of the leather wristbands circling his wrist, he looked over at the door, and the sign next to it as it closed. Clearing his throat, he flexed his fingers and walked over to it. As he pushed it open, he saw a boy walk down off of the stage in front of him.

As he looked around and walked forward, he noticed a section of the wall that seemed to be mirrored, high above accessible height. His experience told him that it was likely a two-way mirror, and he grinned in the general direction of the window, sweeping his arm out to the side in a dramatic bow.

The sound of a middle-aged man clearing his throat brought him back to the present, and he turned and walked up onto the stage, thumbs jammed into his pockets.

The same middle-aged man looked up at him and in an overly loud voice said, "Name?" Drader really wanted to spit out "You first." But decided not to; who knows what they did to reject students here, especially smart-ass ones.

"Drader James Junnren." He spoke clearly and precisely, as if he wanted to engrave each syllable into the man's balding forehead. The same man turned to the woman beside him, and she looked down and crossed something off on a list, then the man turned back to him.

"Power?" He asked, again overly loudly.

Drader sighed, "I can control fire." He said simply, crossing his arms. The man looked pointedly at him, as if he was expecting a demonstration.

"WELL?!" So he DID expect a demonstration. Fine. Drader sighed again, then concentrated on a spot on the ground. Throwing his arms out to the side, a fireball the size of a regulation soccer ball appeared in front of each of them, hovering just beyond his fingertips. Swirling his arms around, the fireballs turned into long ribbons of flame, curling around his body before he thrust his hands towards the ceiling, sending the flame roaring into the roof of the room. Bringing his hands out again, he suddenly brought them together, all the flame collapsing into the tiny space between his hands. He held one hand out, and the flame snaked around his arm, forming itself into a miniature dragon on his palm. He smirked for a few seconds, then closed his hand, crushing the little beast.

The man and woman looked at him for a few seconds, and the woman wrote something down on the sheet of paper before the man looked up at him and said, almost reluctantly it seemed, "Room 1".

Drader saluted the man, not being able to resist throwing in a 'Yes Sir.' as he stepped off the stage and walked through the door indicated.

Beautiful Mistake
Holly opened her eyes slowly, her eyelids fluttering a little in the effort of waking up. Here she was again, Sky High School. Better here than that goddamn "Daisy Field's House for Girls." Talk about miserable. She yawned, her arms stretching above her head. Her shifting energy caused the lights in the room to flicker a bit, which resulted in a few looks her way, though only from those who knew who she was and of her power. She raised an eyebrow in challenge to her observers, then stood up and stalked to the front of the room tossing her red curly locks behind her. The only downside of Sky High School as opposed to Daisy Field's is that she had to interact with the other "inmates" she couldn't just slip away all the time. Holly sighed, pressing her hand against the mirror separating the viewing room from the selection room. She could not wait until she was out of this place, and until she was eighteen and out of Daisy Field's. And then, finally, she would have her freedom.

Her mossy green eyes flicked from person to person in the room before her. They couldn't see her, but she could see them. The thought of that made her strangely happy. She thought back to the day, about a year ago, when she had gone through the same process that these newcomers were going through now. State your name, state your power, demonstrate your power. Holly's lips curled as she remembered how she instantly sunk the room into darkness before the adults then filled it with a brilliant white light. That was before she even knew the extent of her powers, like the orbs of darkness and light that she is capable of creating now. They, of course, passed her; it was why she was here today, of course. But she knew that day they were going to pass her, they had recruited her pretty much. Her power wasn't that great of a power, but it had potential, and it was hers.

The girl turned around and scanned the other second years in the room. Some were still asleep; others were up and about like she was. She noted the leaders of both the "cliques" in the school. All folly in her opinion, the Heroes and Villains. But it made sense, a school created to create such things. A place built to establish yourself, your friends, and even find your future nemesis. Holly associated herself with the Heroes despite her disposition seeming more villainous. She had her own reasons for taking the "higher route" though. Reasons she kept to herself. Much like everything else. Holly generally kept to herself. She turned her eyes away from her current classmates and back to her future ones. At least they were doing something vaguely interesting on that side of the mirror.

Arabella sat listening to the voices on the other side of the wall for a few moments until a boy dressed in well rather nice clothing walked in. It kind of made her slightly like she was under dressed for the occasion. Or maybe it was just him... Judging by the way he acted, it was proably just the way he is. "Hello" she said polietly to him.
A few more moments of talking beyond the wall and another boy walked in which made her feel better about her choose of boot cut jeans with dockers and a white v-neck. He seemed like he should belong in a rock band or something. She said another polite "Hello" as well.
Another few students filied in. The more students that added to the chair filled room the better she felt, she was accepted. They had choosen her to be part of Sky High School! She crossed her fingers mentally hopeing that there was a good cheerleading program or a soccer program...Or some type of sport. She had to stay fit somehow...
After the first few students came in she gave up giving everyone who walked through Room 1's door. Otherwise she would sound like a broken record and people wouldnt give her the time of day.

"Yeah too bad for you.” Luc spoke up making Dash raise and eye brow. “I don’t think this will be the first time our paths will cross my dear. So don’t get so comfortable." Dash could smell it as he always could, the hint of death mixed with toxic, it sent shivers down his spine and brushed a cold wind through his being, yet in all honesty that’s the exact reason he loved it.

“I see…” he said simply, his smile widening to a more adventures one. He knew the bounds that held her and the very limits of which he could not only push her yet himself while they were together. The same as any other he was very careful yet free. She was a very dangerous one, and just as he all these years she has struggled more with control, and that flaw is what makes her so dangerous.

"I already told you…” her voice broke his train of thought as he looked up and smiled trying to catch the rest. “my powers are only good for one thing, and that’s to kill. So unless heroes go around killing people then sign me up."

“Well I don’t mean to argue but during the beginning a lot of heroes simply killed the bad guys, and to be more frank they….” He stopped when another one of Luc’s groupies started over. He nodded respectfully and then winked at Luc. Even though it was possible it would kill him, he gave her a peck on the cheek before taking off to find someone else to entertain him.

“Holly!” Dash said putting his arms up as he and she where the very best of friends. He wasn’t going to lie though, he wasn’t really friends with anyone, more like a guy who forced his name down everyone’s throat. Somehow he got to be some kind of leader of the heroes, how? Who knows, but it did give him respect… which was nice? But it also gave him a lot of added grief. “So…. Looking forward to the new year?” he smiled.

Lucinda was disgusted by the Heroes surrounding her all of a sudden. But Dash cut his words short and kissed her on her cheek which made her jaw drop. "What the hell?" She said looking at him but he moved onto Holly the distant girl who could turn the lights on and off and stuff, which honestly was pretty awesome.
Luc turned her bottled anger back to the Selection below. This wasn’t social hour, that was in a in a little while. The next thing she knew Samantha, another flirtatious hero was hitting on her. She gave her a quizzical look, as if she had no idea who the hell she was, maybe she would leave her the heck alone, but it didn’t work. She just inched closer which made her inch slowly away. She wasn’t into girls, strictly guys and definitely not hero guys or hero girls for that matter.
"Hi, Samantha." She said with an attempt of a smile which turned into a curled lip of disgust. She didn’t like talking to heroes in any way shape or form. This was all too much. She needed to be left alone and fast.
Lucinda was never one for attention or never one for talking with others on the other team. Wasn’t she supposed to kill them when she got out of high school or something? Why would she be nice to them now, waste her energy on people like them. They were gifted with the gift of pure and life, when she was gifted dark and death. How dare they taunt her with there amazing talents? The audacity of the fools!

Adrien Baine
Location: Room One

Adrien entered room one and to his surprise was met with a pleasant hello from the girl that had gone through just before him. He gave her a small, gracious smile and greeted her as well in english but with his quite french accent, "Hey," followed by a brief wave. Before he said another word he made his way over to the chair across from her and sat down. As he was sitting the third one to make his way through entered the room and received a similar hello. Frankly, Adrien was rather surprised at this, as he had expected indifference from his fellow schoolmates.

Adrien looked to the guy that had just entered behind him from his chair across from the girl and greeted him with a similar slight wave he had given her. "I don't suppose anyone would care for something to drink or eat while we wait for the rest to funnel through those doors?" he offered to the few that had made their way through so far. While they thought his offer over he lifted his hand and created a tea cup in his palm. The cup quickly filled with warm tea that filled the room with a very exquisite aroma. Grains of sugar formed above the filled cup and spilled into it. As a finale the tea spun around like a whirlpool on its own accord which mixed the sugar in.

Adrien took a sip and smiled at the taste of it. "There really is nothing better than Monsieur Gaston's tea recipe. Though I never can seem to get the strength quite perfect."

Albireo cracked his neck as he walked in and shook his hand a bit trying to get feeling back into his hand as a woman looked over to him and said, "Hello." As if by auto-polite he looked back at her gave her a light nod as he said, "Yo." Not exactly the greatest greeting in the world but at least it established a connection of some sort, he turned to face her more directly and sighed a bit before asking, "So.... just how did we get here again?" Might have been a stupid and obvious question but it didn't matter he wanted to know.

The guy that came in before him asked if anyone wanted a drink from somewere to his side and Albireo's mind immediately thought of liquors but was quickly shot down by the smell of tea. When he looked over to see where in hell the guy had pulled out a glass of tea he was performing pallor tricks. Show-off. Then again, when all else fails makes use of those around you like the tools that they can be, "I'll take some, hot, with cream." As he spoke he made sure to turn his eyes on the kid taking him in. Well dressed, expensive sounding taste, and the posture of a rich kid. Money. He had to wonder if it would even help in a school like this. Probably not.

Albireo's eyes ended up resting over the guy's hands watching like a critic would a magician. He wanted to see if it was just a slight of hand trick or if the kid was actually summoning stuff out of mid-air. Friend like that could be quite useful. Ether way around. Although at this point the slight of hand would seem more impressive seeing as he would have had to hide both the smell and something near scorching hot.

Arabella sat watching the kids file in the room. One by one, each of their expressions sad, happy, or surprised. It was quite interesting actually. One of them asked her how they got there. She blinked and shrugged, "Im not completely sure..." But the well dressed child who walked in a few minutes after she did herself offered food or drink to everyone. A quizzical look came over her face. "Pardon?" She said out loud. But in a matter of moments he had a tea cup ready to go in his hand. She sat up straighter, "Wow that’s amazing!"
She then thought what she could really go for right now, a Mocha Peppermint Latte from Starbucks that you can only get during the holidays, "I know this is really specific and judging from your accent I can tell you’re not from the US. But can you make a Mocha Peppermint Latte?" She said with her eyes wide and her whole sum of attention on the boy.
~After a while in the room, a woman appeared in the room, she hadn't noticed that the noises on the other side of the room had finished. She spoke smoothly. "Hello Students, I’m Principal FlicknFlash. If you do not know who I am I am the principal of this school and I am here to make everything run smoothly." The woman had her mousy brown hair back in a nice bun. Continuing she said "If you were wondering how you got here, I can teleport myself anywhere in the matter of seconds." Proving this she appeared on the other side of the room in an empty chair. "I can also teleport other people and items as well." This time she didn’t prove that she could do it, all the students knew she could do it, how else would they be there? "Now that explains everything but how you were asleep when you got here. Well vice Principal Mr. Torpidity has the power of putting those to sleep and waking them up. Also planting either pleasant dreams or horrid dreams. He is in charge of making my teleports run smoothly by making you asleep so you won’t resist. He is also in charge if making sure all students goes to sleep when the time is ready at the end of the day.
So students in a moment I will teleport you into the room where Selection took place and you will be introduced to a few
Teachers. You all will get to meet the seniors at this school as well when we finish introductions." She then bowed in her nice pant suit and she was gone.
Arabella Stone blinked and was amazed, seeing everyone use their powers was really amazing, it made her power seem shameful almost. After another blink all the students were sitting in rows of chairs, not as comfy as the other room, just chairs. This time all the students were in there, 12th and 11th. Before they could have time to look around and chat silently the Principal started introducing everyone. Vice Principal Mr. Torpidity, a short man with a bald head, and had sleepy eyes. Mr. Boom was the weapons expert, a man who was tall but had a beer belly and a balding forehead. Ms. Valentine was the history of powers teacher, a beautiful woman who enticed you just with one look.

Mr. Sol just blinked as the Principle introduced herself while warping space about to jump around. It would figure, the principle could literally be anywhere at any moment. Well keeping that in mind another teach' could put people to sleep, also just great, get in trouble and you fall asleep and wake up in a death trap. Next second he was teleported through space himself and sitting in a chair in front of four teachers. The principle, tired looking guy was probably the one that put people asleep, bald guy was the loud mouth from before and the hot little number the woman that had been beside him. Albireo couldn't help but to give another wink to her and again he seemed ignored. Oh well, can't blame a man for trying.

That was when the taught that he hadn't had the chance to get that cup of tea hit him. Aw hell.

Diluviare woke in what looked like a huge audotorium. sitting in a soft chair. She glanced around at the room. She felt a bit disoriented. So this was Sky High. How pathetic. Di quickly shook herself out of the haze as she listened to one of the professors begin calling names. One by one in alphabetical order. Soon it was her turn. Her head held high as she walked through the the doors into a room where four teachers sat before her. Her confidance sat boldly on her face. Every eye was on her.

As she took her place before them, one of the men asked her to demonstrate her powers. She grin and nodded. "Of course." she said sweetly. With a raise of her hand, all of the drinking fountains in the room began to rattle before pillars of water burst from the floor before freezing over. The teachers looked a bit awed then applauded, softly nodding, she'd passed.

Diluviare curstied bowing her head as she was instructed to continue onto the next room. She stepped off the stage with the same confidance and into the next room. Soon the principle teleported them all into the gymnasium. Time for introductions. Of couse, as always there was several boys trying to talk to her, impress er, or just standing back and watching. This was where her charm shown at its brightest as she smiled and giggled flirting with no intent of talking to any of them unless they proved valuable.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ombra had her head phones on. She'd been in a slight haze but that was never anything new. Then through the hard rock in her ears she heard her name called. She sighed as she stood up and started into the next room. She was watching the four people before her. She paused, as they asked her to demonstrate her abilities.
Ombra took her first few steps and watched as they watched her expectantly. As she pulled the head phones back off her ears and down around her neck she noticedhow large the room was and the differant forms of damage that the other students must have already done.
Ombra stepped up & closed her eyes, concentrating. Soon her figure blurred and became smoky, then she was nothing but a black shadow of a person. At first she was still then as quick as lightening the shadow zoomed around the room. Things began falling from shelves and the bleachers rattled.
After a moment Ombra burst from the shadows and landed back on the stage. She waited just long enough to hear she passed. She then slid her music back over her ears. As she crossed the room she glanced up at the blackened windows. Her eyes locked with ever person behind those shadows with her blank stare. Then she stepped into the room and quickly, made for the darkest corner she could. Even as the principle took the students to the gym room. She leaned back against the wall watching everyone move and mingle.
Then she noticed a gathering in the middle of the floor. She raised her hands and a small shadow extended from her ear, then she heard it. a some voice in a cheerful tone. "Diluviare, I'm Diluviare Gelato." The shadow whiped back quickly as Ombra froze a moment. Her sister was here? She sighed she sunk a bit further into the dark. It was best to just keep a low profile for now.
Drader moved over to a chair near a darker corner of the room, once more summoning the flame and shaping it into a small dragon. Holding it in his left palm, he used the thumb and forefinger of his right hand to pinch, pull, and shape the dragon, transforming it from a four-legged beast to a semi-humanoid figure that walked on two legs, it's front legs shaped into muscular arms. It's wings folded against his back, and it started to pace around his hand, leaving tiny plumes of flame wherever it stepped. He committed the creature's form to memory so he could summon it again next time, then waited until the dragon had walked up towards his fingers and was staring out into the distance before closing his hand, ending the concentration and releasing the material bonds that kept the flame together.
He looked up, shaking soot off of his hand, as a girl with her head down came scuttling towards him, sitting in a chair that was farther into the shadowy corner than his. He looked over at her, noticing how her raven black hair melded perfectly with the shade of the darkened wall behind her. Just as he was about to speak up and introduce himself, a flicker of movement from the corner of his vision directed him to look towards where the principal had appeared. After her short speech, he felt a strange disorienting feeling, then 'woke up' in a different chair, in a different room, with different people staring back at him.
"This place just gets stranger by the minute."
Lucinda Barlow; Auditorium; Introduction and Mingle
Lucinda was sitting watching all the kids going up onto the stage, picking who were the selective few who would be her 'new' recruits for the next year. Mentally of course, nothing was ever set in stone, it depended on if people knew about her or not. Most likely not, but you never know. She was popular because of her Jetsetting parentals.
When they finished they signaled all the seniors that they were going to move us all in a minute. Lucinda knowing from last year that when they were transported this time they were in those really uncomfortable chairs that regular schools have. Which made her back hurt and in an even worse mood.
A blink or two later she was sitting in the Auditorium with her back straight and legs together, thats how everyone was flashed in, she then slouched back into the chair and put her hands in her lap. She looked at the four teachers in front of the room, they were so framiliar it was weird to see them up there. You get to spend so much time with just the four that you get used to being around them.
Her favortie teacher was Ms.Valentine, not because of her hot looks and amazing charm, but because honestly her class was pretty freaking awesome. She didnt mind going to her class everyday. Lucinda wouldnt mind going to any of the classes honestly. It was much better then regular school. You have to admit...
When they told the students to mingle and flashed out Lucinda looked to her right and her left. She then stood up and looked around for Dash. Maybe this year they could be orginized and be like 'Yo whats up, Im villians hes heroes, pick now or be neutral for ever.' It was true every student in these cliques always went on to be successful heroes and villians. But giving up she just stood until people approached her, she didnt want to brag but she was pretty hot, she could get about ten boys talking to her by just standing up, and hey that wasnt a problem at all.
Dash was actually quiet for the next few moments something that wasn’t normal for him. Yet before it was time to meet and greet he liked to… do a bit of cheating. He was going back and forth through the electrical circuits getting what information he could, following the names of a few and learning everything that was actually typed in and not black out on paper. Then his focus was broken as he flashed into another room to mingle with the lower classmen. Dash smiled as instantly he moved from person to person until he caught the sight of Luc and instantly his hand found its way around her waist.
Luc was hot enough to attract the attention of every guy who didn’t know her enough to stay away, and Dash was hot enough to attract every girl within a miles distance, so it wasn’t hard to believe that them being close together created a certain magnetism that always left people quiet and ready to listen. He Winked at Luc as he held her close and then out into the growing crowd of people just trying to figure out what was going on.
“Yo!” Dash smiled with a soft gentle smile and wink to boot. “My name is Dash K. Archer, and I’m the leader of the Heroes.” He said simply. “And this lovely lady can introduce herself.” He smiled. Quickly whispers rose and a different set of interest started to wash over the crowd.
Adrien Baine
Just as Adrien had raised his hands to begin creating the two requested drinks before introducing himself to the lovely young lady, and the fellow that was watching him like a hawk he suddenly blanked out and soon after found himself sitting in a different room entirely. The chair he was seated in was uncomfortable to say the least. "These must be the chairs they use in normal schools." he thought to himself. He sighed inwardly at how rushed this all was. This hardly seemed professional or paced at all. Who was he to judge though? The four seated in front of them that were running this operation were frighteningly seemed frighteningly good at what they did.
It was not long before the four teachers, he could only assume, asked that everyone mingle. That brought a bright smile to his face. Even if these were certainly not his people, if there was one thing he knew how to do it was mingle. Of course, this was hardly mingling with businessmen, aristocracy and the like, but they were all still people. Adrien wasted no time in moving from person to person, greeting each with a friendly smile and a brief conversation. To his displeasure, the first question out of everyone's mouth seemed to be, "Are you like rich or something?" or a deviation from that.
A great many of his peers here seemed nervous among the droves of people they did not know. There were a great many standing against the walls, or in small groups. It was difficult to grasp just how unsocial many of them seemed to be in a new environment. But of course, Adrien had been warned about the so called inwardness of many people this own age. One fellow in particular caught his eye though, a rather strong looking guy with a head of oddly styled blonde hair. Much like himself, the guy was socializing with anyone and everyone. He seemed to be a very forward individual, a thought that was accentuated in Adrien's mind when he threw his arm around a girl with abysmally black hair and introduced himself to the crowd of people as the leader of the heroes.
"Archer, where have I heard that name before?" Adrien thought to himself in reserved silence for a moment until he remember a business endeavour that happened long ago with some Archer. Rather than waste the opportunity, Adrien made his way through the crowd of people that were now whispering about heroes and some rather inappropriate things. Being as tall and important looking as he was, he had no trouble navigating his way to the front of the crowd and into the circle where Dash and his arm candy were standing. A number of people stared at him as he completely blew past the droves of them, wondering what exactly he was doing. Indeed, few seemed to understand his forwardness.
Adrien made his way right up to Dash and the girl with a calming smile on his face. He slipped an inviting side-glance to the girl before holding out his hand to Dash. "Archer, as in the big business Archers who constantly push technological boundaries? If so, our families have had business dealings in the past. I'm Adrien Baine. Bonjour." he said with a glimmer of hope, slipping in the French greeting because of his nationality despite speaking English otherwise.
Beautiful Mistake
"Holly," a voice sounded, interrupting her thoughts. She turned to see Dash, the leader of the Hero clique, waving excitedly at her. He was an interesting character, that one, he was at least an amusement to talk to. Yet, she still hoped he wouldn't approach her, and he did. "So…. Looking forward to the new year?" he asked her. She shrugged, "I have learnt to not look forward to anything. But, I guess so." The girl looked back to the auditorium just in time to see the signal that they would be moving. She braced herself, closed her eyes, and in a moment she was in a new room sitting in a chair. Holly looked around at the other students around her, the first years, interesting.
Lucinda and Dash stood up of course, wanting to make their presence known as the leaders of the community. Holly rolled her eyes, all this was a bunch of well, poppycock. The school always separated so easily into these two groups, Heroes and Villains. It was like choosing who you wanted to kill you. It wasn't about the good or bad you wanted to do to the world, it was about who you wanted your enemies to be. It was a strange twisted game to put us all in the same school, to get to know each other. Then, later, let us freely roam the world looking for our former classmates to kill. Holly stood up and moved to the back of the room to observe the unfolding scene. She would have no part of recruiting, she would just watch, as usual.
She woke up with a start. "Eugh, my head." She thought. What had happened. She was waiting for a bus then.. BAM, everything went dark, but there were voices, talking around her. She'd pulled on what she knew, the earth, and it had drawn her back. But then it happened again. She looked up and saw a room to her left. 'PLEASE KNOCK' it said. So she did. "I thought there wasn't anyone else?" a male voice said. "Well there was that girl that didn't show, maybe its her." a female voice said. "Enter". Ash walked in.
"Okay, show us what you can do". The man was tall and dark, and was sitting back down on a chair, shuffling through some papers on his desk. Ash pulled a seed from her pocket. "Live" she whispered and it grew from a little seed into a flower.
"Nice. Anything else?" Ash sat on the ground and thought. The ground started to rumble and a pit opened up beneath the man. He fell, all of 5 meters, into the room below, landing on top of a computer.
"Okay, please go to room 1." the woman said in a slightly bemused voice.
Ash walked into the room. It was empty and the door on the other side was open. She walked into a massive hall, and looked around. A teacher, wearing a suit was talking to another student and Ash walked up.
"And you promise you wont do it again?" "Yes Miss". The woman turned and saw her.
"Yes?" She said in a irritated voice. "Who are you?".
Before Ash had chance to answer, the woman's phone bleeped. She looked at it and smiled. "Your the new girl aren't you. Ash, isn't it? Everyone else here has just arrived. Your a little late, but if you just have a bit of a mingle, then I'm sure you'll get the gen"
Alberio just grunted to himself. He watched more than anything. The Queen Bee and Football Star started to stand out, Dash Archer and the Queen had yet to give a name. The Queen seemed a bit well to be honestly Queeny which he rather hated, Dash seemed alright, bit of a idiot but then again he probably had abilities to back up anything stupid he did. In other words he was still a Jockey. Alberio couldn't help back to hold back a single chuckle high school was still just high school even the old chairs were back.
Alberio leaned back and moved a hand through his hair chuckling a bit more at it, here was a room full of super powered teens that could possibly take over the world if their collective minds were put together and yet they were all still just high school students. It was kinda priceless in a sad and funny way.
He sighed and stood up and shook a few hands as he continued to watch until his eyes caught a kid that had a similar flare for style as he himself did. Guy's hair was black and spiked, with stars on his shirt and striped sleeves. Might as well start his mingling with people he already knew he could click with. The stride was short and the guy was still sitting down when Alberio spoke up, "Alberio, your name?" Not exactly the greatest opening line but at least it got people's attention whem a guy like him said it, more so if they got the reference to his eyes.
