Ria's face turn bright red the instant he was telling her that she was pretty. then looked out at the ocean as she places her chin on her knees. yeah... "Before I found out I was apart of the zodiac... well... I always loved being at the ocean... usually was alone each day... always hated being alone... but still I just drown out my thoughts and look at the beautiful sight of the sea..." she says then sighs, but at the same time when she sighs, green flames blew out of her mouth and her eyes widened a bit and quickly places her hand on her mouth unsure if Yueliang had just saw that... she then gets up, "I'm sorry..." she adds then runs off into the forest.

Why was she running? It made no sense to her... she really was the loner of the others... Then she forces her wings out of her sweater and tries to fly, but crash lands and then crashes into a tree... she so wasn't used to having wings... so she sighs as flames come out of her mouth again.

The night was tedious and filled with restlessness. When Ying finally awoke, abruptly, from her sleep she felt drained mentally and physically. Throughout the entire night, she had tossed and turned with the nightmares of herself hallucinating and being driven out of the village from such crazy imaginative things. She was having a hard time coming to grips with her current situation and this concern and denial leaked into her subconscious. It was, above everything else, very annoying.

With a sigh, Ying got up from her futon and stretched out her aching bones and muscles. The light from her window hit her in the eyes and caused her to flinch away as her pupils adjusted to the sudden burst of sunlight. She groaned, rubbing her eyes and smoothing out her hair unsuccessfully before finally rising from the bed and leaving the room. Her hair was a wavy mess that covered part of her face; something she was slightly thankful for since it covered her left eye's dark bags.

"Morning," she grumbled to no one in particular. She didn't know if anyone was even around to hear her greeting. Instead, she made a beeline for the kitchen and groped around for something caffeinated or sugary. Ying needed something to wake her up again. Thankfully, it didn't take long for her hands to find a warm cup of coffee- Ying froze. "Did anyone make coffee?" She called out, staring at the cup as the steam rose into her face and aroused her from sleep's grogginess.

Yueliang seen the flames come out of Ria’s mouth, he thought it was kind of funny until she ran off. “wait Ria!!” he screamed wondering why she ran off after that. He sat there, not sure if he should go after her or just let her figure it out on her own. Yueliang just stood there, a little shocked at the moment “ AAAAH hell with it! I’m going after her!” he screamed out as he ran off into the forest.

Yueliang stopped and looked around, he was lucky that he could remember where he was and not get lost so easy. He’s been in these woods far more then once and he loved them. He looked around for anything that didn’t seem so normal such as a girl with gold wings, or since it would stick out like a sore thumb anything gold. Yueliang started walking through the forest, “RAAAAAAI!!” he screamed hoping she would her him and come out.

Ria sits up and shakes her head getting a slight headache from crashing into the tree. She then stands up and flaps her wings again and takes off to the skys finally getting the hang of flying and starts to fly around in the sky smiling then she sees Yueliang and stays up in the sky until he was able to see her. Then she quickly dives down and then slows down instantly landing onto the tree right above him, "Didn't expect me to learn how to fly that fast huh..." she says then giggles slightly. She did feel very happy now that she learned to fly on her own with no help.

Xiao had been about to protest, despite his sweet actions, but cut herself short when Fang remembered he'd promised her breakfast. "Oh...that sounds delicious!" She wasn't as energetic in the morning, and her voice was more of a purr than it's usual voice. With a smile he then climbed out of bed and there was only a small pocket of warmth left behind. Once the warmth was gone, Xiao slinked out of bed, slipped on a pair of sweat pants, and then followed him out to the kitchen. She was glad to see his bare upper half. She would have ran around bottomless except that they still shared a house with two others. Luckily the others had already gotten up and gone out for the day so for now, they had the house all to themselves.

Leaning against the counter next to her cooking rommate, Xiao looked at all the ingredients as he brought them out. Finally, she smiled at him and reached her hands out. "Can I help?" it wasn't much of a 'made for her' sort of breakfast if she helped, but...she sort of wanted to help him. Almost like a child wanting to help her father. But this boy was in no way her father.

------Meanwhile------

At the sound of footsteps, Jin rolled over on the couch, the scroll dropping out of his hands and making a silent drop to the ground. Feeling the lack of scroll though, Jin's eyes popped open and looked around frantically on his person for the scroll, only to feel childish when he found it on the ground and picked it up.

He then heard Ying ask if anyone made coffee and sat up, staring over towards the kitchen from his spot on the couch. He could just barely see her, but he more felt her than anything. "I didn't..." he said from his position before standing up and stretching out all his sore limbs. He was used to falling asleep on the couch, and being small enough he could get away with it.

As he got closer to Ying, the feelings inside of him started to build up again inside his chest and it started giving him a headache. Rubbing his temples, Jin put the scroll on the dining room table and then grabbed an apple from the basket in the kitchen. "Morning" he said to her and then took a bite from the apple.

Fang rubbed his chin as he thought about her proposal. “Hmm…” He said out loud. “If I let you help, then I’ll still owe you. The deal was for me to make you breakfast right?” He kept thinking about it, though in reality he was just counting numbers internally. It was purely made to increase the suspense of his answer. She looked absolutely adorable. How could he say no? The mere thought of having her sit at the table while she’d lust over him behind his back was enticing, but have her help and remain by his side was even more inviting. He nodded as he agreed.

“Alright, since the plan is to cook both the bacon with the egg to make a delicious omelette, I suppose you could cook the bacon and cut it into tiny pieces” He said as he handed her the bacon and a knife. He then looked around the kitchen. He picked up a small bowl to for the eggs and spices. Their selection of spices was a bit lackluster; but it would suffice for two omelettes. Fang absolutely adored cooking for people. Some people brought teachers an apple; he brought it a homemade cupcake. He was mamma’s little cook assistant when he was young; it felt kind of neat having his own delicious assistant.

“Bacon takes more time to cook then silly little eggs. While you do that, I’ll mix the egg and spices together, once that’s done, the bacon should be cooked enough to add in the delicious egg cream and have both cooked to perfection.” He then turned to Xiao and gave her a bright smile. “You deserve nothing less than perfection”

Needless to say, Fang did everything as he spoke. He figured it would be better, than just have deadly silence; for one thing Fang would get a bit nervous when neither she nor he would say something. Something about being away from his village where noises were far louder and more common made him a bit uneasy. It was strange, he didn’t feel uneasy on his trek here from his village and he was by his lonesome.

“… ……”

Fang stopped mixing the eggs as he simply froze. He looked behind him, but didn’t see anything. He scowled at the emptiness but shook his head. He was sure he heard someone whisper to him. It wasn’t Xiao, of that he was sure. He voice wasn’t deep and gravelly, though he didn’t make out any of the words. It must be the quiet. “Oh, hey Xiao… Have you guys ever tried to leave the island? I mean…. Like build a raft, or take a ferry that leads to the mainland?” Fang rummaged around the kitchen and put on an apron. It looked like the eggs were ready to be added in with the bacon, and since Fang had been safely shielded from the hot animal grease by being several feet to the side, he would no longer have that luxury since he was going to take over. He put on the apron.

“Don’t look so disappointed darling. I’ll have it off once it’s cooked” He said with a smile. All that needed to be done now was to set up the table. “Oh blunder, I forgot to set the table before I began. Could you handle that for me Xiao? I’ll be sure to add it to the lists of things I owe you” He said with a wink.
King of Wackatopia: "I'll guarantee your safety, give you meaning, give you knowledge and something to believe in for the low cost of your personal freedom."

Fang: "Look at you, you're gorgeous, you're beautiful, and when i look into your beautiful eyes all I see is this magnificent elegant creature, full of grace, full of strength. You're mesmerizing. You're intoxicating. I want you near me. I want to indulge you."

Ryan: "If my survival means the death of innocents, then so be it"

Kyliden: "This one is strong. He's brave and takes what he needs. He's a better werewolf then i could ever wish to be."

Diego: "I can't control what i feel, querida mia. This spark will become a big lively fire. It will consume me, it will consume you and everyone around us, and once nothing is left, new life will spring eternal."

Wade: "She made me love her before she sired me. She wanted a companion, a friend, a lover to indulge her throughout the centuries. Her demise filled me with emptiness; she was to give me a purpose and now I'm alone."

Yueliang squinted his eye’s as he looked at Ria “is that why you ran off like that?”. He started itching the back of his head “that was just out of nowhere” he laughed as he looked up at her. He was amazed that she was able to fly so soon, but he didn’t think much of it. Yueliang turned around and started walking forward “hey I bet I could beat you back to camp” he took off in a sprint wondering if she would be right behind him. He figured if he won this, he was fast but he knew the chances of beating someone that can fly, are very low.

Ying stared at the coffee cup in her hands, the blood draining from her face. She felt herself decrease in weight and fell into a light-headed stupor. "Is that so," she mumbled, a weak smile on her face as she forced her finger to dip into the hot coffee, which burned her skin like fire. She jerked back, the cup falling and breaking on the floor of the kitchen and coffee spilling everywhere. Ying rubbed her hands as she thought it all over, going to grab a napkin for the spill. Maybe Yueliang had made it without telling anyone; maybe it was from last night... but why was it hot then? It didn't make any sense, it couldn't be real... and as she thought this and turned around to clean up her mess, the coffee and the cup was gone.

"Morning," Ying replied, her face pale as she looked back at Jin with confusion in her hazel eyes. "Did you see that? Tell me I'm not going crazy," Ying said hastily as she faced Jin, casting side-glances at where the coffee had once stained the floor brown. She bent down and touched the floor; it was cold to the touch. Her finger still stung as if she'd been burned but nothing tangible was there to blame. There was absolutely nothing. What the hell?

Ying stood up again and ran her hands through her long brown hair, which proceeded to fall in front of her frantic eyes. She was starting to lose her composure that she was known so well for. She was no longer carefree and ever happy with a smile on her face. No, she was scared and possibly going insane.

Ria giggled and flew after Yueliang, but didn't even try racing. She was still getting used to her wings so it was still a little hard for her to control and then her wings suddenly gave out on her and she fell to the floor and hit it hard, "Ow... man I'm still not used to my wings it looks like..." she says then sighs as she sits up. She thought she had gotten the hang of it, but apparently not... she still needed a lot of practice before she truly got the hang of it... she wouldn't know how long it would take, but she figured probably about a week... or so she thought anyways...

Xiao nodded with a smile when she was given a job and happily took to cutting up the bacon. She almost felt like a good wife by doing that. When that sudden thought came to mind Xiao stopped cutting for a second before brushing some hair out of her face to steal a glance over at the shirtless Fang and then bit on her lower lip shyly as she looked back down at the bacon just in time to miss cutting her finger. Just as she sighed in relief for not cutting herself, Xiao hardly noticed the sound of mixing eggs had paused for a few seconds and because her eyes were lowered, she hadn't seen Fang's face at the voices she could not hear.

"oh...I dunno some have tried I'm sure. I know I tried once but got caught by pushy mister Yueliang and didn't get very far. I think too many people have just rolled over and accepted this fate and aren't willing to fight for our release from this curse..." with a shrug she then looked up at him and smiled at him before gently nibbling on her lip again. After rummaging around the kitchen, Fang then took the bacon and put an apron on so as not to get hurt by the vicious bacon. With a frown on her face, Xiao let go of her lip just in time for Fang to ask her to set the table after teasing her for her look.

Quickly, Xiao grabbed two plates as well as forks and cups and put them on the table before heading to the fridge and searching for drinks. "we don't have soda...but we have milk and some juice...I think one is orange and the other is...pinapple?" she then picked out the orange juice for herself and waited for her lovely cook to reply with what he wanted.

Jin's eyes lowered as he watched Ying reach down and touch the ground after asking if he saw something. For some reason there was a panic in his stomach that he couldn't explain. Shaking his head, Jin felt almost like he was going to throw up. He hated this feeling and didn't know why he was feeling so weak. He even felt the blood was all drained from his face and could see the same was true for Ying. "I...didn't see anything..." with his words Jin felt his stomach drop and he could almost feel sweat forming at his forehead. Why had he reacted to seeing nothing as if he was crazy? That's how he felt though...like he was going crazy. "I'm going out..." he then turned around quickly, rubbing his temples and trying to get away from Ying before he threw up. The feeling was so strong, yet there were other feelings. Confusion...nerviousness...fear. none of these feelings his own. He was usually very neutral and only reacted emotionally if something was attacking him personally. So, why was he feeling this for no reason.

As quickly as he could, the rabbit dragon boy headed outside and over to a group of bushes where he liked to hide and read sometimes. It was a central place near all the houses yet somewhere no one could find him easily. Right now with all these feelings, Jin just wanted to relax and meditate. Stretch his mind beyond these odd feelings and put himself back in his proper place.

Once he crawled into the little thicket, Jin closed his eyes and brought his knees to his chest while sitting there. He needed to relax. Luckily Jin managed to release all the emotions and for a split second he was at peace. Then other foreign feelings came into different parts of his body. The feeling of falling hit him first. The dropping sensation in his stomach and even the chill on his skin. As that feeling disappeared, jin felt his skin burn on his face like a blush then his heart started beating fast. This was also a falling feeling, but not a scary one. A happy one...like when someone sees a person they have strong feelings for right in front of them...exposed and loving. More less defined feelings then ovewhelmed him and for the first time since coming to this side of the island, Jin felt hot tears stream down his face as ALL the emotions took over him. he wanted to shut them all out like normal...but couldn't. "STOOOOP! he yelled out and then hugged his legs tighter to his chest...unsure of what he was telling to stop or why he had cried out. The feelings didn't stop though...they couldn't. Not while he was so unfocused on his own personal feelings. But how could he when he'd tried so hard for so long to lock out all emotions?

Fang hummed a little tune as he carefully handled his cooking omelette. He pondered a bit on Xiao’s words. Yueling? He doesn’t remember actively meeting someone with that name, the way she spoke he was their leader? My, oh, my what sort of leader would fail to welcome new guests into his village? Really, something had to be done about that. Fang shook his head. “That just won’t do… If you’re unhappy about being here, nobody should force you to stay here. The Villagers exiled us, but that doesn’t mean we HAVE to stay here. We could escape from this tiny little island and go to the mainland. I’m sure that silly little prophecy is just limited to this place” Fang was initially happy to be here, but now he was more then irritated by his current predicament.

Has the shock worn off? Did the dream he have last night reveal that this island had no clear future for him or his new friends? He was also compelled to have Xiao be with him, and leave with him. The idea of bringing the others, as logical as it sounds, didn’t really enter his mind. Once the cooking was done, Fang brought the hot pan over the two plates. He had carefully divided the big omelette in two for both her and him. He then turned to Xiao.

“A glass of Orange will be fine” He said happily as he closed the appliance and promptly cooled off the hot pan with cold water before leaving it on the sink. He thanked Xiao for the orange juice, and promptly sat down after her. He remembered something. He removed his apron much to Xiao’s delight.

“Well, Xiao. I’m going to check that scroll after breakfast; hopefully I’ll find Jin on the way and apologize to him.” He took a bite of his breakfast and smirked.

“Then, you’ll have to show me around to a typical Xiao day. I’ll have to make myself useful. I’m , after all, an extra mouth to feed” He chuckled.

Breakfast was rather tasty, and Xiao was quite the eye candy. They talked about everything and nothing, It was simply flirting in its purest form; she was quite fascinating and he felt at ease, or rather… When he wasn’t around her, there was this powerful fear that would overcome him. Having her sit in front of him was bliss.

He wiped his mouth after he took a final bite. He groaned as he got up from his feet. “Well then, I’ll be right back. A quick look at that scroll, a quick apology and I’ll be yours for the remainder of the day, and then some. Don’t worry about the dishes; I’ll take care of them when I come back.” He stepped outside to look at beautifully bright day. He turned back to look at Xiao as he gave her a bright smile before turning back and heading for the middle of their makeshift village.

“… ……”

Fang froze as he felt something clutch his heart. Though his eyes became blank, he continued walking toward the middle, where the scroll was left. She mentioned it; this is where the scroll was usually kept, but it was empty. Fang felt relieved, but his stomach twisted. The information was pushed forward with such force. Jin had the scroll last, so he must still have it… He looked around. Jin shared a house with Ying. Fang kept hearing the same incessant whispering echoing in his head as he approached Ying’s house. It reached a peak, but when his hand knocked on the door, everything became silent.

Fang’s heartbeat was racing and a cold sweat came down his brow. He wasn’t the kind of guy that got nervous, perhaps… It had to do with knowing his destiny and it being set in stone. He’d no longer be free, but he was compelled to know.
