![]() Location: Room 205/Back lawn Amery had to hold back a laugh it was so overwhelmingly cute. Her face softened. "Alright bitch you asked for it." she replied in a shout, but gasps of giggles could be heard amongst her false words. She took the rubber band off her wrist and tied up her long tendrils, next she shed her cardigan and pointed casually out the window at Hara to indicate she was coming for her. Once downstairs she took a back door and went out to meet Hara in the field. She cracked her knuckles as she approached. Next thing she knew she was standing in front of the silver-haired girl. "Alright come on." She took a kick-boxing stance, fists up. "You can run but I bet I'll catch you even with my smoker's lung." She tried desperately not to smile but it was hard, this girl was just too cute. "Come on." She indicated, nodding at the girl that she should raise her fists. |

![]() Location: From: Tree Hangout - To: Into Quad Zane finally calmed down. Blankly staring down at the school and it's endless activity everywhere. Anywhere you look, there's always something happening. From corner to corner, there was a group of teenagers practicing their powers. From way over almost directly in the center, towering over everyone else in the school, he was probably the biggest person in the school. There he was, the very person he was looking for, Mako. Mako Jow, the mini-giant as Zane referred to him as. Zane was nowhere near Mako's height, he was at least 3 times, no 4 times the size of Zane. "H...H..Hey! It's Mako!" he said to himself, losing his balance and falling off the branch backwards, but fortunately, he was able to stop his fall by releasing a small explosion of shockwaves on the ground. The shockwaves traveled around the school and for sure would have disoriented anyone with keen hearing. "Damn, I gotta be more careful." he says, somewhat annoyed. He went back to the gates of the school, in an orderly manner. He walked calmly towards in Mako's direction until he came upon two girls in sort of a heated argument. He sighed and said "first day, and already, you guys are fighting. Settle down, or I'll make you" towards the two girls. (Hara and Amery). He's always had been happy and cheerful, but if he ever stops, he gets bitter and spiteful. "Now be good" he said to the two girls and walked away, giving them both a wave with 2 fingers like a peace sign. He arrived at Mako's position and said, "hey big man? Wasn't expecting to see you here so early." If Mako was aware, he would see an abrupt change in Zane's mood. He stared off into the direction of the Snow Leopard girl. "H. Hey! Sorry for disappearing earlier" he said, tipping his general's hat to the girl whom he met earlier. "My name's Zane by the way, and this here" he pointed at Mako with a thumb, "is Mako. Don't let him scare you, he's actually a softy." he said chuckling. He was in a good mood again, there are things he resented, and senseless bickering was one of them. He looked once again to Mako, looking way up, just so he could Mako's face. "Soooooo.. Hurt any trees lately Mako?" he said in a playful manner. "You know, if you worked for a logging company, they wouldn't need tools to take trees down. They'd called you the human battering ram. Hahahaha." |

![]() Location: Strolling along the grass - moving torwards the pond. He left the room after the girl had zoomed out. Max needed to get his center focused again; a lot of change was going on and he needed to stay firm and strong. This would involve thinking to himself and letting out the bad things that easily get under his skin. "I am Max Hinston...I am amazing. My favorite color is blue. There is no one like me. I once was lost, but now I'm found. I am kind. I am gentle. I am Max Hinston. Io parlo italiano...mi chiamo Max. I am strong. I am deeply loved. I cannot make it on my own. I am never alone. I am coinfident. I am myself. I am me..." thought Max. It was repeating these things that made Max who he was. In a world full of choices, Max had learned this - no one else determines who you are but yourself. You can let other people determine who you are; and hopefully you let people close into your life that help guide you upon your daily path - but in the end, you make your own life. Max knew this with coinfidense. "I'm not in california any more." he stated in a thought. "But it doesn't mean I cannot like it here..." he thought, again. Then, Max looked around; the pines that struck out to him - there was still beauty here; it just wasn't the same beauty. As soon as Max had made his way torwards the pond he looked at the water - fresh water. He went to the edge, and slowly, cupped his hands and dipped them into the water; drinking a small amount of it. It was cold and made his throat tickle; but it was was also fresh and gave him life - something that not even the california shores could do. The water was still; it wasn't moving and it was flat that Max felt that he could extend his feet out and walk onto the water like people of the past. But he didn't. And this is what Max learned: That everything is different. Period. To enjoy something different, you have to look at things different and find yourself in that thing - and still remain true to who you are. Maybe this school thing wouldn't be so bad. Location: from airport to school to walking to his room. The airplane flight was relaxing and calming, never had he got the first class coach. It was like his parents were trying to make him feel better, trying to make up for all the years ignoring their middle son, of course, they were. Ira sensed it all or atleast the guilt was written on their faces. He received hugs from his little brother and his parents but his older sister was gone, she went on some buisness trip with her boyfriend. He didn't give anybody hugs' back, he just received them, the only person that got their hug back was his little brother and he whispered 'I love you' to his little monkey of a brother even though he was the cause for all the ignorance but it wasn't his fault. The ride to the school was long from the airport but it seemed short, he enjoyed the new view. It seemed so calming.. And that was it. Now here he was. The new school or academy, finally away from home. He picked up his room number from the secretary who was clearly bored and tired, anybody could see that but he ignored her rudeness as she told him where his room was located. 'Hmm, Room 213' he ran the number through his mind as he made his way through the quiet hallways. It seemed all to peaceful here, hopefully it wasn't as boring as being at home. At home, he did nothing but imitate the animals calls. He swallowed lightly, feeling his throat get a bit dry and started to chew at his bottom lip, used to the feeling of piercing and the taste of metal in his mouth. He went mentally through the direction to get to his room. It wasn't long from traveling through the long hallways that he found his room. Ira weighed the option to go in or not. With a light exhale, he jiggled the handle and walked in quietly to find that someone was already there. He furrowed his eyebrows in surprise but relaxed then seeing a cute male, sleeping peacefully or atleast it seemed. Not wanting to wake the male from his slumber. He tried to tiptoe quietly to his bed and started to settle down. He took his clothes out from his duffle bag and settled them on the bed, getting ready to orginaze them in the closet. There was a light ruffle as he moved around trying to get comfortable in the room. Edited by Yomi, November 15, 2010, 4:00 am.

Mako Jow Quad near the statue Mako was pretty sure that this new girl was mocking him. Though her tone was level and calm, the little rhetorical questions gnawed at the aggressive part of his brain, stirring up that prick of anger that was the onset of one of his rage epidemics. He clamped down on the irritation, suppressing it just enough to prevent himself from doing something he’d regret. Though he had no problem punching someone for no reason, but the calm words of this girl weren’t enough for him to justify violence, at least according to his new code. Mako swallowed his harsh words, pausing for a long moment before he spoke. “It’s what I do. I keep everyone in line round here. ‘Nuf people got too big an ego for their own good. “ His voice was low and slow, reservation hiding the anger. It irritated him a bit that she didn’t seem surprised at all that he had showed up next to her and how that she seemed totally cold. Usually the new students freaked when a 7-foot-tall hulk showed up behind them. The giant almost continued speaking, but a shockwave shot across campus. Mako wavered a little, his senses bombarded with the sudden change in pressure. His nose particularly flared up, the nerve endings around it going berserk. He quickly recovered his composure, however. He clenched his fist, muttering, “Zane….” He could almost tell just from the feel of the pulse. Not only that, but most everyone else on campus didn’t have the ability to produce such a shockwave. The girl changed back into her normal form. To say the least, she was cute, though like everyone else on campus, they were puny in comparison to him. She had an odd hair color: blue and black. It was somewhat pretty, though he had never really been a sucker for women. Come to think of it, was there anyone that he wouldn’t hit, given the proper motivation, which usually wasn’t very much to begin with? “Well, that’s a bit nicer. That all you can turn into?” he asked. It was a standard question for a shapeshifter. It wasn’t long before Zane showed up, peppy as ever. “Why the hell would I wait to get here? It’s not like I got anywhere else to be.” Mako said, raising his voice some. Zane went through the quick pleasantries of introducing both of them. Mako clenched his fist a bit at the ‘softy’ comment. The last thing he wanted people thinking was that he was soft. “I hope you realize that if you were anyone else, you’d be plastered against that wall. Mako said, a slight chuckle breaking his lips, for once. ”And you know I prefer it when whatever I’m hitting fights back. Besides, I don’t wanna put the guys who make the saws out of work.” Mako slouched, his broad shoulders slumping down. He shook his head at his own bad joke. “Anyway, I don’t believe I got your name, freshy” Mako said, turning back to the girl. Location: Back yard Dormitory Hearing the fit of giggles, Hara glared, what the hell was so funny? About to say something, she noticed the girl was gone. Looking around she heard a back door open and the girl come out standing in front of her taking a fighting stance. A bit of fear crossed Hara's eyes. she didn't know how to fight, and she never fought before, she was the one who was getting beat up on. Instead of cowering into a ball like she used to and allow the woman to beat up on her, get kept her hands on her hips. "I aint gonna fight you" she said hoping the girl would just back down and leave it. Hara just wanted to get back to her room and take a bath if she could. |

![]() Location: Yard behind the girl's dormitory with Hara. Amery followed Zane with her eyes as he walked away. She rolled her eyes and flipped him off to his back. She didn't actually mind Zane, but he was ruining her little show and now she was distracted from her tough girl mode. "I swear these kids get so cocky." she muttered under her breath, including herself in that generalization. Her hands were lower now. She glanced back to the girl she was threatening. The chick had her hands on her hips "I ain't gonna fight you." the girl informed in that voice that Amery just adored. This girl was even cuter close up. Amery raised her eyebrows. She appeared to be lowering her hands the rest of the way but she came back and threw a single punch, one that could've done some damage too, but she stopped just short of the girl's nose, never actually touching a hair on her head. "Eh, I can't do it. That face is too cute." she finally admitted. "Liar." "Oh shut up would you?" she chided the seemingly empty space beside her as she brought her punching arm down into a simple offer of a handshake to Hara. "I'm Amery." she said softly. "Tell anyone I didn't go through with it and I swear I'll..." she tried to think of a proper threat but she was drawing a blank. "Well you'll regret it." |

Vicente M. Garnell, located in Room 211 Another year at this academy... Another and a final year for the reddish-brown-haired boy who was walking through the front door with a backpack slung over his shoulder and a suitcase rolling along behind him. He'd flown in from his "home" the previous evening, and he was only just arriving at the school. And he wasn't looking forward to this school year at all. This place had become a haven of sorts for him. And after graduating, he'd be forced to be a full-time "resident" at the place where he'd been trapped since he was a young boy and made the mistake of showing his talents in a semi-public place. But he'd been a foolish, naive child then. He hadn't known how the world worked, and he certainly hadn't known that making a corpse move at a funeral would get him committed in an asylum where he didn't belong. He shook his head, steering his thoughts away from that awful place. Now that he was at the academy, he wasn't going to let himself think of where he'd come from or where he'd be going after the year concluded. No one here knew that he hailed from an asylum for the insane--so far as he knew, at any rate--and he intended to keep it that way. Sure the headmaster and teachers knew, but they had the sense to keep it to themselves. He'd certainly never tell any of the students here. They'd probably treat him about the same as those damned doctors if they knew. With a sigh, he carried his things up to his room, noticing that the room was empty. His roommate's bags were in the room, though, so the boy had clearly already arrived. That was fine, though Vicente found himself silently thanking whichever deity might be listening that his roommate wasn't in the room. He wasn't quite in the right mindset yet to meet anyone new or be at all sociable. Not that he ever was sociable, really. Those doctors saw to that. Vicente had been the sweetest child when he went into that asylum. Now he was cold, remote, and very much like the corpses he so loved to manipulate. It was all their fault. He started to unpack his belongings, putting his clothes in the drawers of his dresser, sliding some spare pairs of shoes under his bed, and placing his books on his desk. He found the usual academy bedsheets in the closet, which he used to make his bed before plopping himself down on it and staring at the plain gray ceiling. At least it wasn't white. He'd seen enough of white rooms to last him a lifetime. If he ever got out of that place, he was going to paint all of the walls of his home green. He liked green. His eyes were green, and they were the only part of him that he really liked. As for the rest of him... His hair was always too long or too short. His skin was always too pale. He was always too skinny (combine a quick metabolism with crappy meals and you get that). He was always too short. He was always too well-dressed or not dressed well enough. It seemed like everything about him fell to one extreme or the other in his mind, but to him, his eyes were just right. Just the right shape. Just the right shade of green. Just the right everything. |

Allen Sixx, his bedroom Hey wake up someone's coming kid... Cross said to Allen, hearing the door open, Cross debated on taking the kid's body but didn't need to as he stirred and Cross vanished. It took a while for Cross's words to make sense in Allen's mind, and when they did he stirred rubbing the sleep from his eyes as he sat up seeing a male, apparently his roommate walk in, apparently he thought Allen was still asleep. Looking around, Allen tried to find Cross but the man was gone. Turning his head, he looked at the other male, '"You don't have to be so quite you know." Allen said as he yawned stretching his stiff limbs from sleep. At a closer look, Allen smirk but it was gone soon, the other was cute, very cute yet he wasn't Allen's type, which was a shame but couldn't be helped then again he didn't feel like creepy the kid out by Allen suddenly hitting on him, though the thought was amusing sure enough. Zero What did it feel like to feel nothing? To watch people from the outside? It was, like watching a black and white movie, but you were in it, the main character and accidently you forgot all your lines, so others tried to ignore you like good actors and keep the movie going. Some people, they would interact with you, but when you forget your lines, they give you dirty looks and walk away. Like a life with no meaning, Zero felt out of place. She felt, like it was much too hopeful to believe something would change. She admits she was hopeful when she came here, getting away from the goverment, but what did it do for her? Nothing. Nothing at all. A wave of energy went through the ground, making Zero's hair shoot up around her but she made no movements no expressions, as she interstingly and amusingly watched the man in front of her disorted his emotions. It was a sick amusement, seeing people lose composure or be in pain, but that was the birth of her smirk. She had a dark side, that she his and ran from, that came out against her will every once in a while. Growling, a voice that she used to snap back at her insides made it subdue as it always had, but lately it had become stronger. Maybe Zero had to be more positive? Than the boy, who had abandoned Zero came Bach, his asscociation with the man quite relevant, his eyes happily watched the man, and the man didn't seem to be that annoyed. They must have some kind of... Small relationship? Putting a hand to her head, a head ache forming, Zero instantly put her back down at her side ashamed. She had to endure the pain. That was what she was bred for.... Emotions are so confusing! Zero wanted to shout, which made her mind go numb and finish its small emotions, relieving Zero of the pain. Although Zero wasn't too fond of the boy, Zane, he did apologize which was a point in her book. He also bowed, making Zero arch her brow but she said nothing as he introduced the man to be Mako, and she nodded her head to show the acknowledgement. When Zane started joking around with Mako, Zero had no part in it, she just watched quietly and observed as she always had, trying to memorize what reactions she should have for things. But it was hard. Right when she thought she had gotten it down, someone else would react entirely differently. What was the meaning of feelings? " It doesn't matter Zane, I am quite used to sour treatment. And so you are Mako, huh? Pleased to meet you both. " Zero announced after waiting for a pause in his jokes, bowing herself for she did not take fancy to curtsies. Watching Mako quite closely with amused and blank eyes, she watched as he tried to contain his anger. Than she wondered, why is that? To have so much emotion... She wished she had just that. Though she should be happy for what she is given in life, and just put up with it and respect who she was. Like he should to. Even though he was, a quite dangerous and violent looking man, he diserved to be himself, like she did. To contain himself for others.... Was she being selfish? For being herself and not caring what others thought? Now Zero was confused herself. But Mako's voice disrupted her deep thoughts. " Well Mako, Im glad someone here isn't a fan of egos as well. " It was true, Zero hated egos as much as ranks in a social tree, which she always found herself being at the top. Was being 'cool and serious' really that cute? Zero sighed. She than listened to the rest of the Zane - Mako interaction, which was entertaining in itself the way they both reacted. They seemed to be more connected than she thought. A tight, abnormal half smile appeared on Zero's face. It was strange the sensation, twisting up half of her mouth like that. It hurt, but not like an injury. More like.... "My name? " Her weird 'thing' disappeared as fast as it had come. Her eyes darkened. Always made fun of, for her name. A zero, the outcast number. Nothing was like it, it was alone. No positive numbers to acompany it, not even the negative integers would help it. Split between the two groups, it equaled nothing. That was strangely too coincedental. Nothing, no importance. Ignored, alone. "Zero." Location: With Mako and Zane in the corridors near the courtyard? |

Aliettie Liera Location: The Academy She opened the car door into icy cold air. Why did it have to be north? Her hair flicked out from her face, ruining her hours of preparation. California would have been nice, so would have been Switzerland but it had to be the coldest heartless place on earth: Scotland. As her bag was lifted out the boot, she gave the driver his money and he drove off, through a puddle. No taxis on campus, so she started the long walk up the driveway. She knew this school was special, but it couldn’t be THAT special as to no taxi drivers. A girl ran past, shooting fire out her hands. Okay, maybe that special. As she rounded the corner, a massive school leaped up at her. Hogwarts? Yeah right. Students were flocking in from everywhere, with no break in mindless chatter. A girl dropped a scarf, and as Aliettie picked it up, she got a blast of different colours, shapes and a animal, a eagle soaring. She sensed that the school was for people like her. Mystic, strange, alien people. As she handed the scarf back, she smiled. The girl snatched the scarf off her and stalked off, gossiping how everyone was copying her nowadays. A sign pointed to “new students” and Aliettie followed it. Her room was round this corner. 206, 207, 208. She opened it, and walked in. Sitting down she heard noises in the grounds and looking out her huge window, she saw two girls chasing each other across a field. She walked out her room and, realising that her old life was now obselete, started walking down a coridoor Edited by popelady, November 21, 2010, 8:36 pm.

Leon walking to his room then lunch room Another year at school for Leon, is just another year to learn more and become stronger for him since he doesn't talk to anyone at all. Leon looks around before he heads to his new room. He wasn't sure who he would be stuck with but he was hoping it wasn't any of the guys older then him. When he said older guys he ment those such as Mako the guy who is always ready for a fight....and Leon wasn't a fan of that. He walked up to the doors of the dorms and turned back around, looking out into the distance he could only think about the library "yes this is awsome!" he was trying to keep himself from jumping up and down. Leon looked to his left and right, seeing kids even new kids. He knew that this year has a very high chance of being the same as the others, but he only prided himself as still being the best student in school. Sadly he never gets first place but he ranks in the top five and he was happy for that. Feeling the cold on his skin, made him feel at ease. But at the sametime it made him a little cold, he turned back around and opened the door. Leon was thinking he might have a room to himself again like last year and the year before that but something told him they forgot that. Walking through the hallway with his two bags, Leon set his bags down cause he couldn't see all that well. His glasses fogged up from going from the cold to the heat. He cleaned them off and put them back on then picking his bags up. He looked at the people walking around, some he noticed and some he had no clue who they were. He said not one word as he made his way to his room. "Aaaah here we are room 212, wonder what kind of view I'll have" he opened the door and noticed their were two beds and on one of the beds a bag "that's not a good sight" he could only think of who he would be stuck with. Leon set his bags down on the bed that was left, he opened one of his bags that had nothing but new books in it and all about his alchemy. All but one book that his father made him carry and wanted him to read every night for one hour, he hardly ever got around to it. Leon laid down on his bed and started to read. But he was hungry so he jumped right back up and walked out his room. Going out the front doors of the dorm he was trying to remember where the lunch room was, but since his nose is always in a book he can't really remember. With his book in his hand, he put it on the top of his head and balanced it "I guess it can't hurt to look around until I find it" he started walking around with a book on his head and not with his nose in the book. Location: The Entrance to the Academy Suzi stared in awe at the mass of students that were flocked around the school. They're all like me.she thought to herself It was the first time she'd attended the school. You could say she was a bit of a late bloomer in the power category and she was extremely scared. It was also the first time she'd been to a boarding school and being without her mum was probably the hardest thing for her in this disastrous glitch on her 5 year plan. After a quick glance at her map, she walked in the general direction of the girls' dorm. She hoeld her head high and sauntered into the main hall. She guessed as she was allocated 207, she's going to be on the second floor. So she headed to the stairwell and lugging her suitcase behind her, she clambered to her dorm room. To her delight, it was empty, although there were clear signs that her roomate had already arrived. There was a complete lack of order in the room. She carefully placed her suitcase perpendicular to the bed and began the intensive clean of the room. First, she refolded all her roomates clothing and arranged into style and colour. She next addressed her roomates books and other belongings and it wasn't long before everything was perpendicular or at right angles to one another. Not to mention the colour coordinating aspects of her arrangement. Everything is perfect now, she smiled. Provided her roomate keeps their room to her standards everything will be hunky dory. |

![]() Hara pretty much ignored the other boy when he came by and focused on the woman in front of her, who seemed to lower her fists, raise them, lower again, and raise and send a punch. Hara flinched closing her eyes waiting to feel pain but instead she felt nothing? Opening her eyes slightly as saw the other lower her fist and say something about her. "What wrong with my face?" she asked the accent still evident in her voice. Hearing her shout at nothing Hara arched and eyebrow wondering what the person was talking about but got distracted when she introduced herself as Amery. Taking her hand, Hara relaxed a bit giving a small smile. "I'm Hara" she said the accent lost from her voice and instead was high pitch and sounded childish. "I aint tellin anyone" she slightly annoyed again and the accent came back. |

![]() Location: Quad, with Zero Flara and Mako Jow Zane ignored the snotty comment from Mako and pondered the name that the seeming emotionless girl said out loud. The name kept repeating through his head like a whisper. "Zero, huh? I LIKE IT!" yelled Zane. Right after Zane got to know her name, he turned to Mako. "Tata" he said and then disappeared, leaving a trail of visible left over particles of energy that outlined the silhouette of his body. Zane was always moving around, he couldn't handle staying still. Zane knew not where he was gonna go, so, he stopped instantly where he was at now. He ended up at the back area of the school, nearby where Mako jumped through the wall to get in. He scaled the wall with ease and proceeded to sit there, not knowing what to do. He was examining anyone coming in and out of the school gates. Looking in every direction, he spotted Vicente Garnell through the window of room 211 organizing his things. As fast as he sat, he was gone, already made his way to the entrance of the boy's dormitory and proceeded to walk to room 211. Zane reached the door and knocked three times. "Knock knock" he said while tapping the door. "It's me, Zane." He said, so that Vicente would know. He waited by the door, his hands in his pockets, waiting patiently, this is the only time that Zane would keep still. Current Location: By Room 211 |

Mako Jow (Wherever Zero is….) Mako shook his head a little. Zane was a bit too hyper, but then again, he couldn’t quite blame him. It was pretty nice being back at Socerno. It was a little odd to get real hyper about the name, but he couldn’t judge Zane for being a bit zealous, at least not at this point in the year. Then, of course, Zane was off half a second later in a burst of speed. “He never could stand still for half a second….” Mako muttered, glancing over his shoulder, his eyes tracing the path he’d made with the distortion. He ran his hand through his hair and sighed before he turned back to Zero. Sometimes, being around someone that energetic made him feel like he needed to sit down. Mako pondered Zero’s name for a moment. It was… interesting, to say the least. It had some implications, not the least of which that whoever had given her that name hadn’t cared much about her. Zero was a number that had no value, implying that whoever had named her either was doing so out of spite or doing so in a cold and calculating way. “Well, that’s a weird name. Course, around here, weird is the norm. If you find someone who is ‘normal’, they’re closer to being a weirdo ‘round here.” Mako said in his low voice. He was a little calmer than he had been a minute ago. That was the one thing Zane tended to help with. It was a little irritating to Mako how emotionless this girl was. To him, emotion was a constant fact of life. Whether he was excited or sad, angry or content, there was always something edging him on. The fact that he had to fight his emotions back constantly was a major part of who he was. He probably wouldn’t be the person he was if he hadn’t learned to contain himself. To meet someone who was devoid of them was… practically infuriating. She probably had a far easier time adjusting to who she was without having to fight back the urge to rip someone apart just for saying a wrong word. “Well, where’re you from? Everyone ‘round here’s from somewhere else. I’m from Hawaii, myself.” Why was he bringing this up? Since when did he care about this kind of sentimental junk? Only reason he even cared about where he was from is because he loved the water so much. He didn’t need to know this kind of stuff about others. It was just details. He didn’t care about sob stories anyway. The past was the past anyway. There was nothing you could do to change it. At least that’s how he viewed it. |

![]() Now that he was all calmed and felt more prepared, Max finally began walking back torwards his dormitory. He figured he would probably grab his sketchpad and draw; it was a calming exersize - almost like taking a hot bath after a long day. As he strolled his way toward this dorm he noticed something of this school - people didn't talk much. It had a gloomy atmosphere that Max was determined to change - eventually. Everyone was either left alone and frozen, in a way, or in a group of friends that weren't really friends; merely people to be around. Of all places to go, Max wondered why this academy. If you wanted to be accepted, why would the academy tend to have this kind of atmosphere? Max's idea of a good atmosphere to learn about their power would be to have it more warm; but it would be OK - because compared to first coming here, Max was releaved and coinfident in himself. He was now inside- only a few more steps until he'd go into his unfamiliar dorm. When at the end of the hall, he noticed another man knocking - requesting for Vance - whom Max believed was his roommate. Smile, Max quietly approached him saying, "You can come in," It seemed just everyone was in this room; he was, two other mysterious girls were in the dorm- and perhaps his roommate now.. Hestitently, and slowly, he opened the door, and attempted to give a warm smile. "Hello," he said - acting shocked to see him there. "I'm max," he said, and he gave a slight bow - an awkward habit he had gotten from his grandparents. He looked into the eyes of his roomate, and began to, unconciously, read him, and started tearing down the walls that were put up to hid his true feelings. Vicente M. Garnell, located in Room 211 The green-eyed boy had been enjoying his time alone before he was joined by the one who was no doubt his roommate. He gave the other boy a quick once-over before looking up at the ceiling again, back to being bored. Unsurprisingly, Vicente wasn't a big fan of having roommates. Having someone living in the same room as you caused certain pieces of information to sometimes slip, and he'd prefer it if the other boy knew nothing about him. Except his name. Being called such things as "hey you" and "kid" and the like didn't sit well with him. The doctors at the asylum never called him by his name, and he made a point of making sure people used his name here. "Vicente," he introduced. "What year are you in?" If this boy was a Freshman--he did look young enough to be one--Vicente was going to fight to get his room changed. Not that he had anything against Freshmen, but he didn't want to room with one. It was annoying enough to do so during his own first year here, and he didn't want a repeat performance. Freshmen usually didn't know how to handle living away from their parents for a school year. Vicente, of course, knew how to. He'd been living away from his parents for almost eight years, five at the time he'd started going here. He was an old hand at that sort of thing. |

Aliettie Liera She arrived in a hall, the canteen, larger than her house, but almost empty. It was 5 to twelve, and she was hungry, due to no breakfast. As she queued behind a blond boy, she looked at the room. It was massive, with circular tables dotted around the room. -She moved forward- The students were varied. Chinese sat with Americans, Spanish with Africans. Fire with water. Brown haired boys playing with fire, whilst skin headed girls levitated shoes around the room. -She moved forward- A girl with dark hair, sitting down on her chair, was suddenly levitated, and flipped upside down. She started shooting electricity from her fingers at another girl, with a brightly coloured tie dye shirt, who was waving her hands in the air. After a hit to her head, which caused the hair of the tie dye girl to stand on end, she dropped to the floor, rolling over a table. -She moved forward- “What’ll it be dearie?”. Aliettie looked at the space in front of her. Scents of china mixed with burgers and fries. Food from all over the world infused together, making it overpowering . She chose conservatively, selecting a salad and a roll, hoping they wouldn’t taste too bad. As she walked away, carrying a lurid tray, she looked for a table. There were masses of tables free, it being only the first day and not everyone being there. There were 3 tables near the bins: not there. Two tables in the middle, perfect “cheerleader and jock” tables. She spotted a table, empty and secluded. “perfect”. A table, either normally empty, or full of people she should get along with. The rejects of the school, willing to accept anyone not like the norm. She sat down, and looked around the room. The hall was starting to fill up now. A girl with brown hair walked in. Perfect little steps. Her lips mouthing the numbers of steps from the door to the stand. Her hands perfectly manicured, but her clothing unfashionable and old. OCD. Defiantly. She grabbed her food and walked over. |

Suzi Haynes Location: Cafeteria Suzi flitted into the cafeteria eyeing up its contents. There was dirt everywhere! it simply would not do so, after donning latex gloves she headed over to a almost vacant table where another girl was sitting at an almost clean table. Mind you, the girl was pretty dirty! Suzi scrubbed the bench with her anaesthetic wipes and neatly placed herself upon it. Ignoring the girl, she got out her lunchbox and unpacked its contents. She of course first scrubbed the table ann then she placed her food in alphabetical order. aubergines, broccoli, carrots... the list goes on. A guy on a nearby table notice her OCDness and decided it would be funny to rearrange her food. The food danced in front of Suzi and then... she snapped. Suzi turned and stared at the guy's rucksack intently. It promptly caught fire and the guy was no longer as interested in her food. It took a girl on another table with an affinity to water to put the raging fire out. Suzi rearranged her food again and turned to the girl on her table. "Hi, I'm Suzi. I do apologise for that fiasco." |

Leon Noel Location: Cafeteria Leon walked in from outside, it took him sometime just to find the cafeteria and he was cold. Leon forgot the book was on top of his head, and he couldn't even see from his glasses fogging up "oh great again..". Leon took off his glasses and looked down to clean them off, his book fell off his head and he tried to catch it but ended up dropping both his book and glasses. Leon dropped down to the ground trying to find them, but he was almost close blind without his glasses. Leon was able to find his book right away cause it looked just like a big brown spot on the floor. "this is bad, I hope no one steps on them" still on his knee's, looking when he touched something mushy. He froze for a little bit, hoping it wasn't as bad as he was thinking it was "and to think I came here just to get something to eat... and now this". Leon couldn't help but laugh at himself as he continued looking. |

"This girl is weirder than most, but at least she's not a preppy chav!" Aliettie thought. "Hey Suzzi, I'm Aliettie. Are you new too?". As Aliettie said this, she saw a boy by the door picking up a book and his glasses off the floor. She looked at him. Cute and dark. She smiled, and he looked at her like her head was on fire. Considering what the Suzzi had jsut done, it could happen. She touched her hair just to be sure, and his look of confusion escallated. He turned away, and she turned back to Suzzie. |

Location: Bedroom of Allen and Ira. Ira heard someone speak up and he knew who it was immidiately. He looked over his shoulder curiously at the male and forced a small, close-lipped smile. "Ah.. I just didn't want to wake you.." he explained softly as he settled the bag on the bed before dropping a folded shirt of his on the bed quietly and turned around completely to show the male he had his full attention. His thin, pale hands moved up to fix his red scarf more comfortable around his neck. "I'm Ira. I just got here.. What's your name?" He asked curiously with his close-lipped smile, his icy blue eyes staring into the other males' eyes. Usually, he could tell other's from their eyes but that is unless they went haunted by some spirits. It was hard for him to read through Medium's. Usually because either current or past paranormals have shrouded some part of humans to hide themself from being seen but it was possible to read emotions of an medium. He started to click his tongue casually, slowly and rymthically. It was trick to get squirrels to come close and actually be pet-able; it was part of his mimicry. ![]() Allen watched the other for a moment, his slight red eyes curious. At the mention of the other not wanting to wake him, he blinked for a moment but shook his head slightly. "Don't worry about it. I'm too light of a sleeper for anyone to not to wake me up." he said grinning. Allen didn't move his gaze from the others eyes, it was as if both of them where reading each other like this, but that was something Allen was not good with. However, he got a different vibe about that from the other, that he could read him with just his eyes. The thought of this intrigued Allen ever so slightly. He wondered what the other could read from him. Probably, something dark and not good. Then again what could be good about a medium who befriended a demonic spirit while knowing it? But doesn't care much? Well what was one supposed to do being locked in an asylum trying to keep one's sanity while others said he had nothing like sanity but that he had no mind at all? Just a head of crazy? That wasn't the time to be picky about who to trust and not. At the question about his name, he blinked once again, pulling himself away from his past. Of course he wasn't trying to hide anything, but that didn't say much from what the other would find from him. "My name's Allen." he said giving another smile. He didn't know why, but it was natural for him to always smile whether it was bad or good, sad or happy. He always smiled even when he didn't want too. It gotten to the point he couldn't even remember what emotion he was smiling for, it all became one muddled puddle in him. Distracting himself he thought of something to ask the other, "Ira...your name sounds Irish. Is it?" he asked, he had a curiosity in names and meanings even though he never found the meaning to his name, he thought the two were important that the name made up part of what a person is. |

Aliettie Liera and Suzie Haynes (a Collaboration between Larynx and Popelady) "Yep, and I feel like such an outsider!" said Suzi loudly. I looked at her, embarrassed for her. "Mmm, me too. It’s so weird, being somewhere where I'm not the special one. It's strange. Are you a fresher too?" "Nah, I'm a junior, but I'm kind of a late bloomer," "Ahh, so... fire is your forte then... And fruit arranging? Okay..." "WHAT DO YOU MEAN FRUIT ARRANGING?!" "Okay, don't bite my head off, I was just saying” As Aliettie reached for the salt, she knocked a fork with my elbow, just the tiniest bit. "DON'T TOUCH MY STUFF!" Suzi screeched, knocking me for six. I stared at her, like she was an alien. For all Aliettie knew, she could be. “Seriously girl, you need to take a chill pill" I stared at her, hoping she’d take the hint and calm down. "I'm sorry. I have control issues and maybe a few anger issues too." She shrunk away, and ate a few mouthfuls. Aliettie felt for her. OCD must be difficult to cope with. "It’s okay. I have problems too, everyone does, that’s why we're here" Aliettie pushed her food away, and lent towards Suzi. “But why did everything have to change? I was happy where I was...” Her face was so childish, the furrowed brow and the cheerless eyes seemed unsuited to it. "What happened?" Aliettie tried to act concerned, but really she wanted to know the gossip, and what she had to fear from this OCDing weirdo. "I set fire to a kid at my school and my parents were so freaked out, they shipped me here." Suzi face was shameful as she spoke almost embarrassed. "So, you can see why I’m reluctant to be here." She stared at Aliettie, trying to find out her secret, why she was so interested in Suzi’s problems. "It can't be that bad, I mean it’s not the worst that could happen. You could have killed him" Aliettie thought back to her past, remembering seeing a murderer and the look when he got sentenced. That look of utter fear, and hatred of himself and everyone around him. "I got expelled! I had a perfect record before THAT!" Suzi breathed deeply, calming down, counting back from 13, mouthing the words. "I should probably stop ranting. What about you? “I got expelled from my last 6 schools” "Oh...sorry." Her face actually turned red this time. "Don't worry, it was never my fault. It was always mistaken identity, or circumstantial evidence, or petty theft. Never my fault, but I couldn’t prove I didn’t do it, so they said I did.” Aliettie”What's your ability then? "Mimic. When I have a piece of clothing or something, I mimic their appearance and gain their knowledge. It’s why I got kicked out my last school; I borrowed the teacher's hairbrush, and found out about their affair with the head and two of the students. When I informed the head, he told me I was lying and expelled me." Aliettie had no emotion in her voice, though she was crying inside. "Ouch, and remind me never to lend you things!" Suzi said with a smile on her face. Her happiness was contagious and in a second, Aliettie was giggling along with Suzi, her problems forgotten. Suzi had a evil grin on her face, and this made Aliettie giggle even more. They looked at each other, and burst into raucous laughter. Aliettie knew that she’d found a kindred spirit in this school of madness. |
