_________________________________________________

The Intura world, one large bubbled city hidden in the veil between everything and nothing. The oldest race, their race has survived every end of time, and witnessed every beginning of time. They are guardians of time, watchers and protectors kept safe from time itself. However if something were to happen to twist that, if something were to initiate the end of time early then their home would be threatened also.

Though every Intura knows this through out the years there is always one who snaps and wishes to do it anyway. The Inturas army prevents this, using their five man groups known as the Time Agents. However the Intura now have something new, an agent force has split and followed one of the snapped guardians.

Reia Li Va'Les Omega
"For crimes against the Intura government you, Reia Li Va'Les shall be punished. You shall be sent back to the moment you were born, you shall be forever cursed to live in an infinite loop." The Inturian council, the conglomeration of one hundred Guardian's chosen from through out the Inturian timeline, all of them were at the end of their lives so as not to bring memories back with them. This was Reia's trial, her future self was killed so she was forced to take her future selfs punishment. The court operated outside even the Inturian time, a strange thing to think of as the Intura operate outside time itself.

"This isn't fair!" Reia screamed, she was currently only fourteen, and the group had just now stopped the Crazed Guardian Lance. The rest of the squad was probably off getting rewarded. "I'm getting punished for my future selfs mistake? Your just repeating the same punishment she probably received, your just starting this again. I don't wanna go!"

"We are making sure the time line stays the way its supposed to. You must go back. Even if your future self survived, you will still have been sent back." The head council member stated, his ghostly image just kinda floating in front of her. The head council member was far in the future, at the end of the Inturian time itself. He was the last Guardian. "You have NO choice."

"You cant make me stay! Its not right. Ill be stuck in time. Objects stuck in time call for me to unstick them what will sticking me in time do? Ill go crazy! Its not right." Reia had begun sobbing some, not in the hopes of getting them to feel pity for her, but rather to make them understand exactly what they were going to do to her.

"Your powers shall be locked, your body stuck, noone will unstick you because they will believe that you were sent back for a purpose. You will wind up helping Lance again, not because you will want to, but rather because no matter what you do you will wind up helping him anyway. Then toward the end of your journey you will die and your 'younger' self will receive this punishment. This is how the timeline is supposed to go, and this is the timeline you will obey as you will have no choice."

"NO!" Reia screamed once again before feeling herself lift off the ground, energies wrapping around her, locking her powers. "No...AHHHHHHHhhhh!" The pain of such a procedure on a mortal being was unbelievable. It was as if all of your internal organs just light aflame, your soul burning away as if it never existed.

Reia had blacked out, and when she came to she found herself in a hospital surrounded by Guardians. "Amazing! It would seem you have been timelocked to this specific time. You are locked to yourself. Ive never seen something like it." There was a laughing before the Guardians started leaving, they had no reason to question it as it was supposed to happen.

Reia, or as she began calling herself Omega, grew up thinking of a way to fix her situation. Her own body calling to herself to be unstuck. Just like she predicted this caused her to go slightly deranged, and eventually forming a plan to kill herself. She was now sitting in the human realm waiting, waiting for an order from Lance.
She had unlocked a large number of her powers, and had linked her mind to Lances so that no other guardian could 'coerce' her. Granted she had no intention of following him once her plan was initiated, but he didn't know that. For now she would listen to anything he wished of her, and wait for the opportunity to arise.

She would create a paradox. She would kill her younger self.

Reia Li Va'Les

Reia always knew she was destined to become a Guardian. When one is born a Guardian with future sight comes and tells your parents every power that you will have. Reia had a large number of powers, and that marked her as a Future Guardian. Shed spend as much time as she could training her powers, though some was harder than others. She wasn't aloud near any technology because of her knack for unsticking every time locked item she came across. This got her in trouble a lot of times, but the items just call to her, plead to be unstuck.

Currently she was running through town, trying to reach the portal to 'Earth' as quickly as possible. She was supposed to be there a while ago, in fact the others were probably already prepped and briefed and sent on ahead. It wasn't fair, she had spent more time than she thought playing with her powers and now she was really late. In fact if it wasn't for the Guardian yelling at her through her communication power she wouldn't have realized she was late.

As she arrived at the huge portal she looked around, "NOOOO! Where is everyone? They did leave didn't they? I don't know what year though."
The portal was huge, the shimmering water that filled the ring of the portal showed earth at whatever year it was set for. The ring itself had three 'tiers' D/M/Y with smaller points for hours, minutes, and seconds. However currently the thing was set for 'null' which was where it was normally set to prevent anyone from sneaking out. When set to null it showed the planet itself from what looked to be its moon.

"Guardian! I need to leave!" The Guardians were assigned to one portal, sometimes two if there was fewer Guardians than there was portals. However currently there was thirteen Guardians, well twelve now what with one going crazy and such. But that left one Guardian per portal, even so she was screaming both aloud and in her communication power so she should have been heard.

Slowly a short skinny bald man appeared, "Its about time you showed up, Ive briefed the others who were chosen for the squad already and sent them through, needless to say some of them wasn't happy that they were down one member."

"I'm soooorry, I got distracted." Reia stated hopping some as she motioned toward the portal for him to open it.
The guardian sighed some as he moved his hand over a pendant hanging around his neck. The portal activating to link her to her team. "Go." He stated as the portal completely activated.

Reia nodded and ran through the open portal.

[[Okay Ill let you all choose. Either 'A' Everyones at the same time (after their intro post) and we can choose the time itself
'B' Everyones at different times in 'earths' history. Alittle more difficult but able to explain where the missing squad members are
Or 'C' we can have it in the future 'earth' and make up a history altering event ^^ (which is really just A but shhh dont tell anyone)

"Layla! Laylaaaa!" His voice fell on deaf ears as he watched his love erased from existence. It started and ended in the blink of an eye.

The room would have normally been stark white clean and up kept like a well funded hospital. Yet instead panels had fallen, varies machines were broken, the floor was cracked and splattered with blood in varies places and the mechanism that held the prisoner was damage beyond repair and almost released the prisoner.

King had gone mad and his powers went haywire. The other guardians had never seen such a thing. Had never heard such screams and cries of pain. Had never witness such power unleashed. It had taken all of them and more to contain him. It would have been safer to have killed him but Intura law forbids it, even when their own hadn't been blessed by such trifling matters.

He was to be sentenced to death, but in one fatal mistake of his handlers he was able to escape.

King snorted slightly. A part of him wondered how many times he had tried this and how many times had he failed? Maybe this had been the first? he knew it had to either or. If he had accomplished his goal he would never been here in the first place. A odd time paradox in of itself. But, he would have been God for a few moments, paradoxes meant nothing to a all knowing all seeing master of creation. Obviously he would found a way around the paradox and still set the world straight as he saw fit. Time could be rewritten, as clouds its laws. He had only gain the power needed. He sighed, time to move out, 'Omega. Gather the rest, we're moving.' It was a simple order, and said in a fatherly way. Not to commanding, yet still sturn. Even if he abandoned the ways of the Intura he was still himself.

The Intura world was, for the most part, breezeless and silent, which honestly got on Lowen’s nerves a bit. Perhaps he was used to being on earth, where he enjoyed the excitement and carefree manner of the humans. So what if they were stupid enough to continuously try to kill themselves off? They sure knew how to keep things interesting. He found most Intura to be quite stingy, so he wasn’t exactly looking forward to seeing his team for the first time. There was a meeting beforehand to clarify who they were, among other things, but he wasn’t in the mood to sit down and listen to people talk for hours. Besides, he was already briefed on something similar to what humans would call a text message. Such important documents would be considered dangerous to send on earth, but in the Intura world and with their technology it was safe to do so without hackers getting a hold on the information.

According to the message this mission appeared like it would take a while, so his thoughts drifted to his fan club that he wouldn’t see during this time. Him being able to show off his magic wasn’t allowed on earth, but in Intura he could be as heroic as possible in an attempt to win over the ladies. It worked for James Bond, so why couldn’t it work for him? Maybe his absence from the Intura world would increase his mysteriousness and gain him even more female fans. After all, they like mysteriousness. That’s something else he had heard and it sounded reasonable enough.

“I’ll just need to attain maximum aloofness,” he thought to himself.

Then he remembered he should be heading out to his group by now. In fact, he would have been late if he didn’t have the power to fly. Well, technically he wasn’t flying, but was instead falling in the direction that he changed gravity to. He leaped off the building, finally being able to feel some wind on his way down, then changed the gravity around him to head back up. He knew how to time it just right to have enough time to cancel his momentum and fly back up with his gravity before splattering on the ground. This time he waited just a fraction of a second longer and his knee almost grazed the metal ground, but with his momentum cancelled it was easy for his artificial gravity to lift him back up and then into the direction of the rest of his group. He couldn’t fly over a minute before getting exhausted, but luckily gravity was able to pull fast enough so that it only took him roughly forty seconds before coming in sight of the group. He allowed himself to land and then sprinted to rest of the way, having enough time to make it if he hurried.

“I hope some of my squad mates are attractive,” He thought to himself. “Or at the very least not some stringy self-righteous guy like some Intura are.” (Sometimes he forgets that he, himself, is an Intura).

He reached the group with only eight seconds to spare. He planned on arriving five seconds early, so he got there sooner than expected.

Silence.......That always seemed to be the case in moments like this. Absolute silence before the thoughts and memories came flooding back. It was dark. Completely black. Her eyes were closed and soon she began so see faces and she shook her head.

Slowly she opened her eyes and laid them on a world that was still dark, still black. She could feel all the pains of her recent struggle. Her dislocated left shoulded which was hurting rose being her wrists were shackled above her head far enough her feet couldn't touch the ground. At least three of her ribs were broken, and the gash on her right leg was badly infected and she could feel the flesh being eaten off ot if.

Her throat was dry and her stomach felt like it had been eating itself. To anyone she probably looked withered and broken. Her long hair had been cropped in the sword fight to the point it sits in jagged, caremal, cascades just above her shoulders. Her bright green eyes seemed dull and foggy. Plates of metal were fallling off the walls around her and on the floor vermine scurried endlessly. The once white dress she was in was left in hung in rags around her, clinging to her almost transparent as it was soaked with sweat and dirt and mud.

It had to have been days since she was down her but it was already feeling like years. So as the moment the shining it her eyes it seemed as if the light of years had been release into her eyes. She blinked several times as tears filled her eyes and streamed her filth covered face. Her powers had been blocked so looking into the future to see who had come to see her would have to wait until her eyes adjusted. Then she heard it, the sound that broke the silence and her heart all in one fell swoop.

"Layla?" her name? Yes, thathad been her name. And the man who said it wounded broken. Who was it? She tilted her head up towards the light, her eyes barely adjusted. The bright golded waves fell behind the man. He had a strong demiener but a kind, soft, almost fatherly face. The look in his eyes however is was brought the pain in her heart, he looked as if he were dieing.

Layla wanted to hold the man, to break from these chains and run to him. The cell keeper came up beside him and unlocked the door then muttered something about the council only allowing a few minutes. She man took a few steps in then glance back as the keeper turned and stepped away before her dashed across the cell to Layla's side. He drew his sword and in a flash of metal the shakles and chains shattered as she fell to the floor with a yelp of pain. He knelt next to her with his hands hovering over her. He seemed almost afraid to touch her. Layla could only imagine how frail she looked to anyone else with how badly she felt. So she reached up with her good arm and touch his face as her eyes met his. "Lance....I love y-..." Layla's voice was weak from lack of use and less than a gasping whisper so as the slamming of doors and the clacking of footsteps entered the hall her words were drowned out by the noise.

Soon a way of the council and body gaurds entered the large confinment room. As they came in Lance fought tooth and nail to stay be her side but she was taken roughly by her arms and a scream came weakly from her raw throat.
'here? They're doing the ceremony here?' Layla thought to herself confused. As the council surrounded her she could see all of their body gaurds hauling Lance out of the room.

She didn't listen to them speak. Her eyes were watching her husband and as their eyes met she saw the tears in them and she had to look away. She then turned her attention to the council. They were going to erase her from time. But to do that there was going to be a short moment when she would once again have her powers so she had to time this persisely perfect. Then she felt in, her strength returning then the power building from the other around her. Time shiften and tristen until-

As quick as time itself a shadow slid through the portal as it opened for the team Omega. As she moved her eyes followed only one man, the one leading the group. The woman sighed as she looked down on the Shadow of the man she loved. He was broken.

Her plans had gone perfect so far but not letting Lance know that she was still alive was killing her inside. She stayed back. It's been weeks since the ceremony and finally Layla was begining to figure things out. She needed help though and so she waited. She simply needed to catch Lance alone. If only for a moment.

Omega

Omega sat waiting, she didn't much like the human realm, they stared at her wings. In their past she would be seen as an 'angel' in their future she would be seen as a 'oddity'. Currently she is seen as a strange combination of both. She hated the humans, none of the other races did this, well that's not true, some would try and eat her.

Currently though she was sitting on a roof of a building the humans called a 'skyscraper'. "Any time your ready." She said aloud, she wasn't really taking to anyone in particular. However once she said this she received an order from Lance. "Yes sir." She said back with a grin.

She stood and stretched her wings before holding her hands up into the air. In her hands formed a small black orb, "I swear if any of you aren't watching this building as per the plan, I will personally hunt you down." She said then tossed the orb high into the air then quickly launched another orb after it.

The two orbs collided then suddenly the space above the 'skyscraper' pulled in and seemed to twist the sky scrapers image into a stretched visage that slowly twisted as it got closer to the roof.

The Omega team was to watch for that, signal then move to the meeting area where Lance should be waiting. She then took to the sky flying toward the meeting area.

King sighed and looked up catching the flash of space dilation. That was the signal. Good. The Intura would soon be after them and time could be waited. It was a odd thought he had all the time in the world and yet little time to spend and use it in. With a slight chuckle at that paradoix thought he reached out his hand into the open space of the roof top, with in a few second space seemed to blur and the air seemed to shimmer lightly around him. His goal was to draw forth all the magical energy in the area to himself.

Over such a wide area pulling and condensing would take a while and any Intura in the time time frame and layer could pick up on it. To be safe he had the little team he had put together scan the area. The Intura home world would pick up on the energy dilation but by the time they tracked the source and sent a team it be to late.

Far below thous sensitive to the changes around them would feel sick with a feeling of dread pulsing through their stomachs. They would be to stupid and ignorant to understand the warning their bodies were giving them, run. Any animals in the bustling metropolis would run to the limits fast as possible as pets went mad to escape their owners homes. As in a few minutes they wouldn't exists.

King was planning to stop and brake down time with in the heart of the city before removing it from existence. In essence, a hole in time a place where there is nothing in existence. Complete empty space. Thousands of lives would vanish in a instant forever forgotten. Then like a hole in a blanket all of time and reality would start to unravel. And since he would completely destroy the piece of time he removed it would be near impossible to stop as it ate its way out. From there he would travel to other locations in time and punch a few more holes speeding up the process. And in little time at all reality would start to collapse in on itself generating a infinite amount of energy, all of which he would use for one massive recreation of all reality. A reality in which he had Layla back, a reality in which all those that were wronged were righted, a reality in which he had never tampered with reality. If he remembered anything of what he had done it would be quite a rush and possibly impossible to accept with pure logic.

Layla looked on as this all happened around her. Now was the time. She had to stop him. She watched as the orb raised into the sky. Then Came Lance's blow to open the hole. She raisted her staff and with it she countered his shift in the time patterns. As his addition twisted one way, her twisted the other. A time flux would take place. In this moment three separate times would be created.

In one his power would win and the opening would be pulling apart time as it was. In another her's would win and time would begin to completely recreate itself. Ine the one that Layla would stay withing with the others and a small time jump backwards would happen but those who were not Itura would only know it as de ja vu.

As she felt the small leap in time she looked around. No one was able to see them at all. She then stepped out of the shadows behind him. "You've really sunken youself to this? You truly didn't have the faith in my vows that i'd always return to you?" then before he could see her she sunk back into the shadows.

Layla came around to the otherside of him and waited for his reaction, watching carefully for anyone who may venture too close. No one else could know of her existance yet.

King's head turned towards the voice he would have known it any where. Yet no one was there. His mind was playing tricks on him again. Since she died his mind had started to conflict with itself, her voice always ringing, her touch on his skin, yet she was never there, "You died... I saw it happen. But I'll bring you back. I refuse to torture myself with phantoms any longer." King closed his eyes softly and shook his head before looking forward. "Don't hinder me, I've set my resolve. If I must, I'll become the greatest evil to right greatest of wrongs." He sighed and removed the slack from his arm and spine. Space warped heavily as he channeled a portion of what he had already collected to further his powers. The magic in the area would dissipate and vanish weakening and braking any spells but his own.

He wouldn't let his guilt get to him nor his fears. It had to be done. He would bring her back, his mentality and soul be damned. The time flux started to release. For King it only seemed as if his mind was clearing. Soon anything that wasn't completely secular wouldn't work as all the magic and energy in the heart of the city was drawn to him. He drew it from the air, the plants, and the very people and living creatures below. Anyone or thing not preordained to escape would simply vanish into nothingness.

Layla shook her head tears growing in her eyes as she stepped from the shadows. She folded her arms staying a good two or three yards around you. Then she closed her eyes and quoted the first words she'd ever said to him "You don't have to protect or fight for me. I've always taken care of myself." then she looked at him, faces him and whispered pleadingly. "Please, stop this. Open your eyes and stop this!!" she said as she watched him.

She was concentrating on trying to revert time, to redrain the energy from him as he absorbed it. She glanced nervously around her again. She knew it was early but enough of these holes would end everything, one by itself could do it and she refused to let that happen. She watched him with the same deep gaze she used when she was working. Her look was deep and serious but her eyes themselves were soft, understanding.

She was trembling. She knew what exposing herself this soon could do but her emotions had always has a stronger hold on her then her logic ever could. Once more she spoke, her voice shaking. "King.....Lance, please?"

The winged 'angel' flew across the city, far below she could see people pointing toward her show. Some appeared to even be taking pictures. 'Humans are such idiots, even the Sarlentarians understood that when we change space, run. Though they were in no way stupid.'

Eventually Omega came within view of where Lance would be, she stopped and floated just out of range of his hit. There was a massive break in time happening, and she could see multiple time portals opening. 'And here's the force.'
They couldn't be placed anywhere near Lance as the break in time was dangerous to the portal, but entering the break would do nothing to an Intura just yet. Lance would need more power to do anything to the Intura.

Quickly she continued her flight toward Lance, speeding up when she saw another. "How did they get here so fast?" She was worried, no Intura from the force should have gotten here so fast, but the woman wasn't from Omega unit.

King's left hand came to his head holding it as if in pain. It was like his head was splitting open. The phantoms had never been so real before. Had the build up of magic reflected his wishes? He had never made a illusion before but there was a first time for everything. Just as when in his head she looked like she was begging him to stop. His conscience must have truly hated what he was about to do. But it didn't matter. He'd sell his soul to the devil if his wish would come true, "I'm sorry love, but phantom voices and illusions from the mist aren't enough to replace you." His eyes shut to hold back tears before he opened them again and summoned the wrath and rage he needed. His hand left his temple as he start to bellow in furry. Everything in the heart of the city stopped then vanished. All that was left was black void that ate away at everything around it slowly growing larger. With in five minutes the city would be gone. To stop the spread would take a large task force of guardians contently watching over it, to reverse it would be impossible.

King's hand trembled in the darkness, he could still feel her touch. he had just irrevocably committed the greatest sin of the Intura. He calmed himself then was sucked up by a portal. When he came out he was beside Omega and turned to look at the pitch black ball of nothingness he had created. It sent a shiver up his spine and yet it also allured him, "Omega, tell the others to keep their eyes out and group up." He sighed deeply, "Intura forces will be here soon. Lets not get caught up in them."

Layla shook her head. As he moved for his final attack she leap out for him. Then in that moment, he was gone. She turned quickly where she felt his energy and spotted not only her love but another woman from his force. She cursed herself as she let her eyes meet his for one more time. A tear falling before dashing back into the shadows.

Layla had crated the flux of three times so anything destroyed here could be returned. She knew Lance would try to recreate his world. What he didn't seem to understand was that if she really had disappeared bringing her back would be only from his own memories, is own copy. She herself would still cease to exist. She knew of only one place to tind this information.

With her powers Layla took a trip to the future to go to the past which she had done too many times before. She came back with a small tome which was now, already hidden in Lance's pocket. Soon he would find it with the floral simbol of eternal love from his people, a red tulip. He'd taught her that himself just hopefully he too would remember.

Quickly she sent out an untracable stress call to the gaurdian of this gate. That would at least speed up the process of getting the power needed to fix this here before too much damage was done. For now however Layla still needed to be hidden. At the same time, tailing the Omega forcce was the only way to minimize any damage they would do.

The woman, who was she, how did she get here so fast, why was she causing Lance to act odd? Those questions were racing through her mind as she continued toward them. However when Lance disappeared into one of his portals she paused and floated. He came out next to her, and the woman disappeared also.

"Good work." She stated before lifting her hand up some then tossing a single orb away then placing her hand on her head sending a wave into her recall device. Within moments the others of the group would hear her voice telling them to watch for the Force.

The orb she tossed would fly for some time before crashing to the ground quite some distance from them. The resulting distortion of space would probably kill quite a few people who were too stupid to run from the large crack in time that was below them. "Should I tell them where were going next?"

Reia Li Va'Les

Reia came out of the portal and squeaked, she was facing a large black mass that used to be the center of a city. "W...what happened?"
She was normally placed close to another member of her squad because she lacked any way of speaking to any of them, but this time she wasn't so she was going to have to rely on the words of the Guardian of this portal to lead her.

However before she even took a step she was suddenly thrown by a large explosion of space itself. She flew back and collided with a solid wall, mentally screaming out her pain. "That was not cool." She groaned as she stood back up.

Earth Guardian

The portal was showing massive damage, enough for him to be authorized to send more squads, which he did. Howver now he was seeing something else, a split in time, with enough altering he could set everything back to the way it was before. Though some other Guardian would need to help.

King sighed before nodding his head, "Tell them meet us in Firas. You can choose the date and time. I'll need a hour to rest though. Take that into consideration." He sighed once more slowly looked at the black void he had created. Things were going to move fast now. He and his group would have to stay on their toes.

As he stared at the void the feeling of Layla's embrace came back to him. So warm, so gentle, and yet firm in trying to hold him back. He was doing this for her so why did him mind keep summoning this congregations to haunt him? Would she want him to stop this? Maybe so. But it didn't matter, he would break ever rule and law of time. He would rewrite and rewind time in a way that had never been accomplished before. He would be God and undo all that been down. That fateful day would never happen, he would rewrite it. Even her disappearance from time could be rewritten as long as he could remember her. She wouldn't be fully erased until he forgot. So maybe the phantoms were a blessing in disguise for long as he could see her his memory would remain strong and so would her hold in time. Time would work to erase his memories though non-stop till nothing was left. he had to succeed before then.

A light grin spread across her lips as she nodded, "Dont worry, take your time to rest, well have everything set up." This will be the first trip to Firas, the second trip it the one she will be waiting for.

Slowly a twisted and smaller version of the Inturian portals opened behind her and she stepped through, finding herself in the deserts of Firas. Her wings streching up then over her head blocking the sun. "First trip, the Avian Space Incident. Mess up this point, and their entire space timeline cracks setting them back probably one hundred years. Much more significant a crack then the Earth destruction of their disease cure." She spoke to herself, thinking aloud really.
She much preferred Firas, simply because her wings are common here, and everyone else was stared at more. After all around here if your wingless your basically useless.

She had also chosen a place this far from a city for a reason, when they were followed, and she knew they would be followed, then it will be harder for them to be followed. She sighed and waited for the others to follow her, her wings giving her enough shade.

King nodded as he watched her go as he sighed and looked down as people ran around screaming. Someone had been stupid enough to actually try touching the black mass as such his arm was unraveling into eternal dust. He wouldn't feel pain but the fact that his arm was disappearing before his very eyes would had to be a unpleasant experience. Another man tried shooting at it as if it was tangible. He would have laughed had it not been so sad. Then he felt a sudden ping against his back and turning around he saw another man pointing a gun at him. King blinked once. More people were looking up. He closed his eyes and vanished as he was sucked back into his portal.

Humans were so quick to violence. Didn't matter that they had the ability to do anything or make anything their minds could contemplate. The masses were no better than monsters. If they didn't understand it, they feared it. If they feared it, they hated it. If they hated it, they would destroy it. What a ill fate to hold in life.

King opened his eyes and desert spanned out for miles upon miles with little else beside rock face. Up far in the sky though was a network of floating isles. He forgot what held them up there but it was a magnificent show of the wonders of nature. But alas, the place was far to hot for his liking. Sighing he looked around a bit and moved to sit down on a large rock. It would be some time till his body regained enough energy rip open another hole. Even opening small portals was getting to be a hassle.

He'd wait a few minutes then jump up to one of the isles were it was shaded. Omega would find him when she finished her preparations.

Layla was right on King's tail. She had drew the man's attention who had shot at him, then as he left she followed his portal. The heat that suddenly hit her was expected. Her tattered white gown lickily was thin and made of a breathable fabric. She looked around and took in the sites. This world really was beautiful.

She watched Lance as he moved. He'd asked for about an hour so that was her maximum amount of time. She would have to tell him. There was no other way she could see to save this world. Just as sh stepped towards him he was off again. She sighed. The man never did like to sit still for very long.

Upwards onto one of the isles he went. She followed him under an oldshade tree. As he sat down she moved to the other side, her back to the bark and took a deep breath to steady her nerves. She then sighed and spoke softly.

"You truly can't tell the differance between fleash and an illusion anymore love? And even if you couldn't, do you truly believe with all I went through to protect those who have always done me wrong, that I would want to be brought back in this manner? Have you truly fallen so far from you graces that you now work for the man who framed me? Who had me executed from the start?" Layla said as she stepped out from behind the tree into his line of sight.

King's stomach squirmed. More illusions. Why was he so plagued? Why couldn't he just be left in peace to do what he must?

He didn't looked over his shoulder instead he kept his eyes focused on the view ahead of him, "I work for myself to bring you back my love. Even if I must destroy all in creation to do so." He sighed heavily, "I wont fail. I'll bring you and everyone I've slayed back. Most would say time is like a river ever flowing sure. But I have seen the face of time. And I assure you, it is like a ocean in a storm. I will change history to have never let you go." He sighed and started to look up at the sky. It was depressing to be talking to himself like this. Maybe it was more depressing to know that his mind would talk back to him. But in a way it was also soothing and calming. Much like talking with the dead even though they have passed on one still has the impression that the spirit remains. Not to forget her voice was like angel-song to his ears.

Layla shakes head head. Something wasn't right. She understood it had looked like she'd died but the memories still remained. There was no other explainatiopn for that fact except that she still lived. He should know that.

Layla stepped forward and knelt next to him. She hesitated then reached out and took his cheek in her hand turning his face to hers. "Love please, what do I have to to to make you understand that I'm real?" Her eyes had teared up now.

For too long had Layla watched her beloved go against everything he stood for just to bring her back. She'd spent the lonely, cold nights watching over him. Never ceasing nor resting or leaving his side unless it was unavoidable. Her body trembled as tears began to streak her face, her eyes never leaving his.

My love, please, you have to understand me. I made it through the time wipe. I'm alive, I'm here, I've always been here. Please my darling Lance, don't make me have to leave you again without your complete comprehension that this is no illusion. I'm begging you to think logically for a moment. You have you memories still, only because I still live within a moment in time. Layla pleaded. Her voice was pull of pain, trempling and weak as her eyes begged his to understand.

Tears fell down King's face as he trembled slightly. No, much as he wanted to believe the sweet lies his ears heard they couldn't be true. He had seen her disappear. He had seen everyone forgot her. Yet her hand was warm. His madness was feeling realer by the second. All the more reason he couldn't fail, "I saw you die. I saw you erased. Your nothing but a collection of memories striving to exist as time slowly eats away at you." He kissed her softly his eyes full of pain, "Sweet as memories of you are... they will never be the real thing. I can already feel them slipping away. I can no longer remeber how we met.... what ever spell you used to seal my memories is slowly fading. I wont lose you." His voice cracked. His tears at stopped but his eyes were still watered. What was he to say to his own memories, guilt, pain, and hopes crying out not to slip away.

She shook her head furiously"No no no no! Love please. What do i have to do? My darling. King please listen to me, I skipped over time itself. Thats why your memories are fading but I'm here please." Her body trembled then he kissed her and it pushed her over the edge. She would break through to him. She would make him see.

Layla pulled back and with all the strength her heart could muster against King she stuck him across the face. Her entire body shook and with all her might, in that moment of weakness she created in him she forced her own memories, as tattered as they were, into his mind. She showed him what she'd done and been through the last few weeks and above all she shared the memories of their past that he'd said had been fading.

Layla looked into his eyes and with all her power willed him to understand. Her voice cracked under the strain as she spoke. "Please Lance. You're my best friend. I need you."

Everyone came, and she told them the exact points in time that they would need to be, and with a forceful but calm voice she told them that should any of them leave their areas she would forcefully remove their skeletons from their bodies and watch as they are forced to survive as a gelatinous blob.

Once the squad was gone she sighed, she wasn't the leader of the squad she was the Word of the Guardian. She knew, and they knew, that all of her threats, while real, held only a small bit of truth behind them. Though even a small bit was still a deadly amount.

Her wings spread wide and she lifted up and flew toward the floating city that held the Space program.

Reia

This was not happening. It couldn't be happening. She slowly moved into the street, her wings folded against her body tightly. People screamed and ran, others attempted to attack or enter the black mass. Time itself falling apart within it.
Only an Intura would survive within, but not for extended amounts of time. She could see other squads entering it, attempting to fix it, but she couldn't see her squad.
She was also looking around for this Guardian, but she had felt his energies disappear, though she also felt another, but it was also gone. Perhaps they had help, help that they didn't even know about. But what if it was help for the 'enemy', that would be bad.

King hit the ground and his head hit the back of a tree. What had happened? he had never been able to be punched or affected by his illusions. Then memories began to rush into his mind. Old memories. They cleared and focused sharping. He looked up at her and blinked. Even if his memories could have fixed themselves or twisted into false positives a fist hitting his face was still a fist. He gulped slightly. Was it really her? How could it be. How would it be possible. She could have been someone hiding how they really looked and using illusions to change their voice, but they wouldn't have been able to repair his memories that easily. The branches of magic were to far different.

"Layla....." His voice trembled a bit, disbelieve was plain but so was pain.
