OoC The old pick up truck jerked and groaned loudly as it sped down the back road. It didn't seem like there were many people on the road, and Nathan smiled, glad to be away from everything. His buzz was starting to wear off a bit and he lifted the still slightly burning roach from the dirty ash tray. The smoke felt good in his lungs, making him feel a bit lighter. He'd planned on waiting until he'd reached the house to light up, but why delay the enjoyment? The first thought that hit him was the place was amazing. There were large houses all lined up, reminding him a bit of that one movie, The Stepford Wives, but it looked cozy none the less. The ocean was visible in the background, as was a bit of the sand, he couldn't wait for a closer look. The seond thought was that he was the first one here. After finding the address, it didn't take long to realize no one else was here. Nathan smiled as he pulled into the closest parking spot to the door, the others would get whatever they got when they showed up. Come to think of it, he wasn't exactly sure who else was coming for the trip. All he knew is that some people were, that was good enough for him. Hell, looking to have fun, he may jack up his prices just a bit, make a bit of spare cash, after all he could use a new truck. At first the rusted door didn't want to open, but a few hard should slams loosened it up enough to flap open, nearly causing him to fall out of the vehicle. He reached in behind him, grabbing the dark duffel bag he'd packed, and pushed the door back shut. The small white envelope holding the house's key had been shoved into his pocket, easily accessable. If he'd been amazed at the outside of the house, the inside nearly gave him a heart attack. The door opened to a large living room, two big sofas nestled in front of a large flat panel tv mounted on the wall. He could see the kitchen with a sliding glass door leading to the beach just past the living room, and a staircase leading upstairs, he figured to the bed rooms. The hall at the top of the steps was lined with doors, and it didn't take long to find the largest of the rooms. It was plainly decorated, a single full sized bed, a white nightstand, and a white chest of drawers on the opposite wall. The only downside was the window, which looked out over the parking areas as opposed to the beach, which was fine with him. He let his bag fall on the bed, immediately opening it and fishing out his lighter and 'fun bag.' A few seconds later and the water in the bottom of the small bong was bubbling, and he was breathing a deep breath of smoke out of the now open window, watching and waiting for the others to arrive. |

The windows were rolled down, sending Amy's hair into swirls around her face. No, it wasn't gorgeous. It was annoying. She swatted at her hair and finally, as a red light came up, Amy pulled her hair back into a very messy bun. Why hadn't she checked the gas before leaving for this beach location... place, whatever it was. As the light turned green, Amy shook her head and turned up the volume on her Ipod. Thankfully, she'd brought the little sucker and wasn't stuck listening to the wonderful sound of the wind and honking cars. She smiled to herself, for some reason digging Katy Perry's new CD even though usually she thought the lady wasn't all that great. The directions to the location was pretty easy to figure out, though Amy wasn't the greatest with finding places. Someone could tell her to turn left and she'd turn right. Of course, Amy would figure "Oh, haha, that's the wrong way" and make a U-turn. It just took her a little longer to get to places. It wasn't so bad that she would end up in the middle of Wyoming or some place boring like that. Soon, the cluster of houses came into view and Amy glanced down at the scribbled notes on the passenger seat of her lil' Buggy before turning into a parking spot in front of the right house. There was the beach, as expected, right there so close she could go there right now if she wanted to. Amy noted the beat up truck that was a few spots away from her car with curiousity. Now, what would that thing be doing out here? She sure as hell knew someone with that kind of truck probably couldn't afford to live in one of these houses, especially with how big they were. Also, why the heck was it so familiar? Eh, who cared. Amy wandered up the sidewalk to the door of her vacation house, twirling the key she'd gotten around her finger while humming to herself. Once inside, Amy scanned the interior. She was impressed by the magnitude of how awesome it would be to hang in such a place, with it's comfortable couches and decor that screamed money. Ah, yes, it reminded her tons of home but one that could get totally trashed without parents coming in to yell and go bald over it. Fun! "Lovin' this," Amy singsonged as she skipped up the stairs and opened the doors to all the rooms, finding one with a view over the beach. It wasn't the biggest room or bed but everyone knew that Amy hardly ever spent the night in her own bed so it didn't matter much. She just wanted the view. Amy tossed her bag containing all she'd need onto the top of her fluffy bed and, after heading downstairs, tossed herself on the couch and turned on the T.V. to see what she could rot her brain with. |

He thought it was the pot going to his head when he saw a car pull into the lot of the house beside theirs. It looked familiar, too familiar. Nathan was deep into another inhale when the thought made him choke a bit. Amy Robbins! It was a girl at school he'd had his eye on for awhile. She had a bit of a reputation but he'd dated girls like that before. Well, not dated per se, but had a nice little fling for awhile. But she was a bit different. She didn't hang around his group of friends, that was the major difference. He'd never ventured out of his clique for girls, but this one appealed to him. But why is she here? The question left him in a drug induced trans-stare for a while, before it dawned on him. The answer was obvious, her car was next door, she wasn't with them. Maybe she was with family, it had to be something like that. Looked like her car was by itself though, so it couldn't hurt to be curteous. He allowed himself a minute or two to watch her go into the house, then waited a bit longer, he didn't want to seem overly eager. He searched his bag quickly, realizing he'd forgotten to bring his eye drops. He almost felt like he was floating as he made his way downstairs and out the front door, leaving it unlocked behind him. The front of their house was the same as the one he was staying in, making him feel a bit strange and deja vu-ish as he knocked on the door. For a moment he wondered if this was a bad idea. Probably, but what else is there to do? |

"Boring. Boring. Even more boring," Amy sighed as she flicked through the channels. Why was it that the good shows always ended by summer? It didn't make any sense to her at all because now she had nothing to do until the rest of the group showed up. She hadn't even thought of bringing any movies. She grumbled to herself, kicking off her sneakers and rolled over to take a small nap. It was then that an obnoxious knocking came from the door. What the? Amy lifted her upper half to peer over the top of the couch at the door curiously. "Nothing worse than overly friendly neighbors," Amy mumbled to herself as she hopped up from the couch, not even bothering to shove on her shoes. Amy knew from experience that friendly neighbors were the absolute worst, especially when they had the key to the house just to drop off some food for a very preoccupied Amy. Let's just say they weren't very friendly towards Amy afterwards. Amy approached the door and peered through the peep hole, her eyebrows shooting up as she spotted none other than Nathan Hawkins from school. Hah! Of all the people to be in this picture perfect beach hot spot he was here on vacation? There had to be some other people with him. "Well, you seem to have already gotten the party started wherever you're staying," Amy said as greetings as she opened the door and leaned against the door frame. She grinned as she took in his red eyes and the dazed look on his face. Funny, she'd never been that into drugs. The one thing that wasn't skewed about her, hah. |

He couldn't help but smile when she answered the door, trying his hardest to contain a small giggle at her mention of the party. Was it that obvious that he'd been smoking before he came over? He never thought that he might smell like it or something. He leaned against the frame opposite her. "Well, you know, had to do something to entertain myself, no one else is here yet." He peered around her to the quiet living room, disturbing like the one he'd just been in in the other house. "Looks like you're not fairing any better over here, eh?" He smiled, she was prettier than he'd remembered, though he hadn't ever looked too closely at her in fear of some of his friends noticing. God forbid any of them learn of his even slight attraction to her, she wasn't one of them. "Although the party isn't entirely over if you'd be interested, I got plenty of partying left in a bag back over there?" He tried to tilt his head towards the other house for a moment, the mixture of the movement and the weed made him start laughing again. "Or are you not into that kind of party?" He managed to speak once the giggling had stopped, quietly hoping he didn't look too retarded. |

Amy laughed. So her guess was right on point about him. Nathan definitely came here with others, most likely his lil' popular posse. Well, that was to be expected. Wherever their hook-up stoner went, so did they and the opposite was true too. Go figure, then, that the two groups would end up hogging up the same area during the same time. Oi, how wonderful. "I'm guessing the whole clan is coming then?" Amy asked as she peered over at the empty parking spots. As long as no one scratched the paint on her Buggy, she wouldn't kill anyone. Maybe. No promises. That was a bummer. And here, she thought that maybe she'd be able to get to, erm, know Nathan a little better and get past the pot he always kept on him. She always felt an attraction towards him, though sometimes she wondered if it was just the usual sexual attraction she felt to practically anything that walked on two legs or the intoxicating smell of weed. "Nah, dude. I might take you up on that offer a bit later, though, once the rest of the guys start popping in," Amy said with a smile as she pushed herself off the door frame. "Speakin' of which, since we're both the lamos who got here first, why not chill until everybody else comes?" Amy asked as she moved back to the couch and left the door wide open, letting the ocean breeze to come through. Amy plopped down on the cough, crossing her legs under her and tossing the remote onto the coffee table in front of her. Heh, the thing was made of glass. That table was definitely not surviving the two weeks they were staying here. |

Nathan watched her as she moved, wanting to follow her but not quite able to. If the others showed up while he was here, they'd know who he was hanging around. Although, with her reputation, some alone time definitely wouldn't kill him. He shrugged, deciding to take the risk and follow her, pushing the door closed with his heel as he walked past it. The room was the same, but already had the estrogeny-feel of a room occupied strictly by a woman. It didn't usually bother guys, but in this situation it made him a bit uncomfortable, his friends still on his mind. "I guess we could do that, though my friends may not appreciate the sight." He smiled, not bothering to try to hide his concerns, instead making them into a joke. The couch beside her was soft under him, softer than it should have been, again it was probably just the weed exaggerating things for him. "So how long have you been here waiting?" He tried to seem cool, and not at all like he'd been watching from his window since the moment she'd pulled in. It took him a moment to mentally connect the dots that she'd know he'd seen her arrived, which is why he came over right away. The words had already left his lips though, so he could do nothing but let his cheeks redden slightly at his own stupidity. |

"But of course," Amy said, rolling her eyes at his comment. Count on the clique of "Higher than thou" to ruin Amy and her friends' perfect getaway. Why was it that the one time they finally got a chance to escape the audacity of that group, said group decided to tag along unknowingly? Amy sighed, leaning against the couch's comfortable cushions as she twirled a strand of her red hair around and around. The television was stuck on MTV, showing off reality t.v shows instead of the good music Amy used to tune in to watch and listen to. What a let down. "The real question is: How long have you been watchin' me you lil' stalker," Amy teased as she peered over at Nathan with a playful smile. She felt flattered that he'd pop on over so quickly after seeing her arrive, though, she could probably blame that on his high. People did silly things when under the influence. Boy, did she know; that's why she tried not to do weed too much. Amy laughed lightly at the pink tint on his cheeks as he let something slip. Ah, she didn't care less if people watched her. She was completely used to it by now what with the boys who constantly had their eyes glued to her and the girls who couldn't help but glare. Puh-lease, Amy loved it. Go on and stare. She enjoyed the attention, whether positive or negative. |

The smell of ocean lingered through Chasity's nose. She was glad to be away from the city for awhile. Everything seemed so much more calm out here during her travel to the cabins. She wasn't exactly sure what to be expecting but she doubled checked to make sure that everything she needed was with her. Humming to herself slightly, she went through her check list once more before arriving to the cabin. Looking through her list, she announced each one off as if she was proud to bring them. ' I-pod- check. Change of clothing - Check. Necessities that are needed for mornings and nights - Check. A book - Check. A magazine - Check Nail polish - Check.' She looked up and realized that she was almost at the cabins and sighed knowing that there was no turning back. She figured that whatever she left at home-- it would be there when she got back. She looked out of the car as she was driving up to the cabin's. Great. She wasn't expecting to make an impact on arriving late, or early; but she didn't want to be the first one there either. She looked up at the sky seeing that it was clear as day. Not a cloud in the sky. Although Chasity just realized she forgot her sunscreen-- she'd hoped that someone there would have some and she wouldn't have to worry about it. She quietly turning the key in the ignition to turn the car off, and stepped out shielding her eyes from the sun. She walked up slowly to one of the two cabins. She wasn't sure which one was hers, but she figured she'd head for the one with people already in it and make the best out of making an entrance. Hopefully not to goof things up. Opening the door she looked around and saw Amy sitting there talking to Nathan. She wasn't sure if she'd notice her, but she would make it seem obvious that she was not even really paying attention to the fact that Amy was basically throwing herself at the first guy that she saw. It was normal for Amy though. She was known as the slut of the school so anything that walked by her with two legs was doomed for. Chasity then dropped her bags on the floor between the opening of the door and the cabin and walked slightly forward while not even noticing that she dropped them right in front of her and stumbled landing at Nathans feet. She looked up slightly and felt a hot redness come over her face then looked over towards Amy as she bit her lower lip and smiled. "Hey." She grimaced while pushing herself off the floor to her feet and brushing some of the dirt off that she had collected while being there. ''What were you guys talking about?" It was just like Chasity to be nosy about what was being talked about between two people that she knew. Well, at least one of them. She knew though Amy would end up telling her later on about what she was talking about to Nathan, but it didn't concern her in the least-- and if it did, she would have made more of a scene about it. She smiled still looking at the two then noticed that there was no one else around but the three of them. "So... where's everyone else?" She paused and waited for a response with the smile still active on her face. Edited by Idylle, September 13, 2010, 4:45 pm.

"I was not watching you..." Nathan lied, quite confident about his answer, because it was technically true. He had just happened to be looking in her direction when she arrived. If anything, she came into his view, yeah, that was it. "Besides, it doesn't seem like I'm the first guy who ended up watching you." He felt the over whelmingly childish urge to stick his tongue out at her, but resisted it. His attention was drawn to the new arrival, and it took him a moment to realize who she was. So he'd been right, Amy was here with friends. He had to bite his tongue to keep from sighing, feeling a little more than slightly disappointed by this turn of events. "We weren't really talking about anything." Though he was disappointed, he felt he really didn't have a reason to be, he hadn't expected anything to happen anyway. "My friends haven't arrived yet, so I had just kind of planned on hanging out here until they did." His eyes darted to Amy for a second, almost as if for confirmation of what he'd said. As a teenage guy, the possibilities of having two girls here instead of just one ran through his mind, making him more than just a little uncomfortable, and he shifted the way he was sitting on the couch, lifting one leg up to rest across his other knee. "That is, if you two didn't mind me being around for awhile." He was sure Amy wouldn't, Chasity had just gotten here, and it was a bit harder for him to gauge her reaction to him than it'd been for him to do with Amy. One thing was for sure, his buzz was wearing off. |

"I'm your biggest fan, ill follow you until you love me. Papa...paparazzi" humming along to the music blaring through his volkswagon beetle, Tommy bounced in his seat, excited to finally be going to the beach. He had been planning this for the last month and finally he could act on his plans. Tonight he wanted to find a way to get some alcohol and then throw a party. Sort of like a welcome to the summer party. First he would have to make friends with either a random person over 21...or the person selling the alcohol. Then he would need to pick up some munchies and non alcoholic beverages. He knew Amy would have no issue devourering the alcohol...but Tommy honestly had no idea whether Chastity would drink or not. As for their fourth member...well Tommy doubted nister shy quiet man would party harty. So that left Tommy and Amy to be the life of the party and amuse the others. Turning off the highway and going down Beach Blvd, Tommy pushed next on his i-pod and then 'dinousar' by ke$ha started playing. A smile spread across tommy's pretty face as he started singing along. The way he moved his body, and the type of music he liked, most people thought he was gay. He, however, was not. The feminism in him was all thanks to his family and how he was raised. He just couldn't help it. It really was the main reason he wasn't popular. His school was full of jocks and preps. Jocks tended to be homophobic and although Tommy wasn't gay...no one believed that he loved women entirely too much. Pulling off of beach blvd, Tommy turned his music down and checked himself in the mirror quickly before anyone caught him looking a hot mess. That would be a bit of an issue. Luckily he looked perfectly fine and as he pulled up to the marvelous beach house and pulled up next to chastity's vehicle just in time to catch three figures outside the beach house he had booked for himself and his three closest friends. The women he recognized as his 'girlz', but the guy he knew very well to not be one of them. The three then went inside just before Tommy could park. With a frown, Tommy turned the car off, unplugged and powered off his I pod then half bounced half ran to the back of his beetle to grab his duffle bag full of clothes. Once he was laiden with clothes, Tommy made his way to the front door and took one giddy look towards the beach before entering the house. "Hey there" he said to the three. He was glad to see chastity there. She was always good to go to when amy's personality got a littleover the top. He'd never admit it, but Chastity was his sanity. Most people would say he was the glue to his cooky group...but if it weren't for his lovely lady there with a mind for rationality...he'd be as crazy as everyone else and let his emotions get the better if him Running his fingers through his hair Tommy wondered what this popular pot head was doing here. He really hoped amy hadn't invited him as a boy toy for their stay down here. But then again why would she do that when there were tons of strangers around who she would never have to see again.
