________________________________________________________________

The night was dark, darker than normal, the moon hidden behind thick clouds. Rain poured down over the small town of Erinu. The town held few buildings, infact it primarily consisted of three wooden homes, a very large graveyard, a large manor at the top of a hill, and a stone inn.
The inn was called the Flaming Dragon Inn, it was owned and run by one man named Narexs. The entire inn was built of stone, one wouldn't find anything inside the inn that was flammable. People normally stayed for a short time, drinking then leaving. Narexs didn't really care so long as you didn't try and start any trouble.

The manor was missing a large chunk of its roof, and had been missing a large chunk of its roof for almost a hundred years now. Why noone wanted to repair the hole was unknown.
The graveyard was extremely large for the small town, but it held bodies of soldiers, people from other towns, and a whole host of others. Erinu was literally just one large plot of land used for other places dead. Toward the center of the graveyard was a crypt that held the heroes from a hundred years ago, or at-least those heroes who were dead.

Not far from the town was a large camp, the camp was home to the Dragon Hearts, a band of thieves, murderers and mercenaries. The Dragon Hearts were led by a man who is rumored to be able to create fires hotter than molten lava.

Surrounding Erinu, the camp, and creating a border between the two; was a large thick forest filled with plenty of creatures. Somewhere in this forest a Mystic is said to survive. It is rumored that this Mystic captures your essence in stone should you fail his challenges, but thats probably just superstition brought about by fear.

A large castle stands some distance away from Erinu, a hundred years ago it was occupied by a terrible vampire who killed many, it has been empty after his death. However when a thick fog appeared blocking out the castle rumors arose that the vampire had returned.

Cryth stood sighing some as he looked at the fog, it prevented entry and turned anyone who tried to enter it around. Cryth had spent the last year searching for a way to deactivate the fog, while gathering together a group capable of destroying the vampire, Meridor.
Recently he learned that the fog is maintained by Meridors six guards, held up by pendants they each possess. If these pendants touch the fog it will clear, with all six one would be able to break through the illusion around the castle without being turned around.

Grinning Cryth turned around and started into the Flaming Dragon Inn. He had sent out several messengers to eight people. The messengers held a note, the note had a simple message:
'You have received this note because you are the strongest, smartest, or fastest around. I request your assistance in killing a vampire lord. The vampire lords death will be beneficial for the survival of the people of Erinu. However if that isn't enough then know that your payment will be anything you can carry away from his castle.
Should you accept this request please come to the Flaming Dragon Inn in Erinu.'

On the back of the note held a drawn image of the person it was supposed to be delivered to along with notes of the possible places the messenger could find them, and anything else the messenger needed to know. Cryth had been meticulous in gathering information about those he was about to 'hire'.

Grinning he sat down at the back of the inn and waited, he made sure he was sitting in a way that he could see the entrance but not in a way that told people he was waiting for someone.

Reia sighed some as she sat on the chairs inside the Inn, she was told to wait here with 'Uncle Narexs'. She didnt like waiting, it was dufficult for her to form it into a game.
"So...Reia was it? How are you?" Narexs asked. Narexs was a friend of her fathers, she didn't meet him much though.
"I'm fine." Reia said with a weak sigh. "Whats daddy doing?"
"He is...looking at something. He believes the rumors that the vampire has returned." Narexs stated as he turned and started returning to his bar-tending duties. As a bartender he has heared alot of rumors, and takes all of them with a grain of salt.

A light moan came from her before she noticed her father come into the door and take a seat at a far table. "Yay! Daddy!" She squealed as she dropped from the stool and ran over, hopping onto the table to easily reach the chair next to Cryth.
She nestled into the strangely comfortable stone chair and looked to her father, "What now?" She asked, she was told this was going to be an adventure, but currently its been just a 'waiting in a small town' journey.

Clothes. Repairs. A summons. A summons to help with the slaying of a Vampire Lord. Intrigued as he was, Garruk was wary nevertheless. He distrusted humans, and interacted with them only out of necessity. He looked at his note, and read that he should seek his employer in the Flaming Dragon Inn. The Inn wasn't hard to find, it was a large stone building, missing part of its roof.

Garruk stepped in the doorway, and approached the innkeep, who was addressing a young girl, probably no older than seventeen winters. "A water, please," he asked of the man, and took a seat at the table, not caring that its other seat was filled.

He took off his (rather frightening) helm, and set his axe on the floor under his chair. He ran a hand through his hair as the innkeep brought his water.

"No ale, sir? Mead?" the man asked, curiously.

"I'd prefer to keep my wits upon me, thank you," Garruk replied, curtly. With that, he placed his hand over the lip of the glass, and, after a moment of making both the water and his hand glow a dull green, he drank. The cleansing had purified the water, and it left a sweet aftertaste on Garruk's tongue.

Where was his employer?

In the corner of the tavern a small boy sat, dressed from neck to toe in dark black leather, with his legs being hard to tell apart from pants or skirt. In truth, a slight mix. Soft cotton pants under, and a leather skirt that resembled something a magician would wear on top. Yet, the same kid had no staff, or rod that a normal paticer would. Apprentice maybe? But no master in sight? Most people didn't think long enough to wonder that, just assumed a master was around town somewhere, and the kid was on brake, or maybe an errand, the cup of hot coco in his hands, and the older gentleman a table away didn't hurt the image any.

Nothing could be father from the truth. Behind the child was his master, or, maybe her master, would be a better way of putting it. Or was the child the deamon's? It was hard to tell, even for them. Behind her, in her shadow, a small dog, or wolf like creature could be barely seen. Eyes a perfect crystal blue as if from heaven itself, and yet, an immense presence of fear, hate, anguish, pain, suffer, and blood lust emanated from it. While the girl seemed pure as snow. Quiet the conundrum. And yet, no one even really seemed to notice. Maybe the dog like animal wasn't even really there, a trick of light and glass reflecting on the floor. She knew other wise.

'How long are we supposed to wait? I only agreed to this because you said I'd get to kill all I wanted! Yet here I am, being forced to stay quiet!! If the old geyser doesn't start to talk soon, I'm killing everyone here and ending this!' The sharp words echoed in the back of her head, washing over her own, nearly over powering.

"Please... not yet. I'll let you do what ever you want to me, and kill what ever you want, but just wait a little longer, please? Were waiting on the others......" Dreamer begged, and meant every word, not that it wouldn't happen that way anyway, but it normally soothed Shadow a bit when she sincerely submitted. Meridor needed to be stopped, if this was all she had to endure to help, it be fine, right?

'Oh... I'll make you endure much more than you think... But, you know I hate waiting. Its infuriating. You can feel it too, I know you can. Its driving you mad to stay here, couped up in the corner, surrounded by a tavern full of drunk, womanizing men. You wish they would all just die. I could grant that wish, just let me go.'

Dreamer gulped hard. Why did he have to bring it up? She had just settled down, and was starting to feel calm as hot chocolate and sugar hit her veins. She didn't like them, but, she didn't want them to die.

'Thats a lie. You do. Their terrible, disgusting pigs that took away the only person that ever cared for you.'

Dreamer shook her head, no, no, no. People did care, the circus people did, they were good, and nice. Kind, loving.

'They used you! All you were to them was a thing! The women even told me so. They all thought you were a monster, a sinful little slut that killed her own parents! They never cared for you! They never loved you!'

He choked down a hard gulp. She was starting to shake. Please, please let something happened. She couldn't take much more of this or else she snap.

'Let it all out... I know you have it in you Dreamer. You can do great things. Especially with my help. All the things in this world that hurt you, try to drive you away, and hate you. We can make them dissapear..... together. I know you want to Dreamer, it wouldn't be hard at all. Just, stop holding back.......'

As Cryth entered the Inn he heard Reia give a light yell to him, and when he sat down he saw her climbing over the table to sit next to him, "What did I say about climbing over tables?" She scolded before laughing some and saying, "Now we wait."

He sent the messengers out some time earlier so with any luck they should be arriving here now. Sure enough a young boy...or rather girl soon entered. Cryth mentally crossed her off the list and told her to take a seat.
The next off the list to enter was a larger man, Garruk. Cryth crossed him off the list also.

It was nearly a good hour before Reia started groaning, "Alright alright. Impatient little brat." Cryth joked as he gave Reia a light pat on her head, before motioning Garruk and Dreamer over, the rest can get caught up later.

Reia giggled some as she was scolded, "Not to climb over the tables at home when there was food on it, there's no food on the table and were not home." However when she was told they wait more she groaned. She hated waiting, it was so difficult to turn into a game, there was only so much one could do while sitting calmly.

The time passed and Reia shifted her position thirty-seven times, she never repeated the same position twice, and did everything from sitting normally to sitting upside down, to sitting with her back against the table and her feet propped on the top of the chair.

Eventually Reia gave a loud bored groan causing her father to call her a brat then pat her head. "I'm not impatient, just really really lacking of the basic qualities of 'waiting'." Reia squeaked before sitting back in her chair normally.

'Dreamer. Its final time....'

Dreamer was thankful, but nodded none the less for Shadow as she stood up a bit shaky and walked the feet needed before sitting down. Coco still in hand. Her eye went from the old man, to the other young girl. She looked happy, so care free. She wished she could be that way.

'You can be.... just let go....'

Dreamer gulped, fear of her self as much of Shadow going down her throat. She then looked over to the other man the old guy pointed out, he was huge. Her eyes went huge, fear filled at first, then, more loathing for a second. Then, it was gone, the hate, at least.

'Just let it out, Dreamer! One little scream! I'll hear it. And I promise, I'll protect you.' He almost sounded soothing, comforting.

Dreamer swallowed hard, he'd kill. She didn't want that, not here, not yet, not ever.

'You shouldn't lie. Don't want to be a bad girl, now do we?'

".......Please.... Stop.... Just stop..... I beg you... I can't, can't handle anymore...." Her voice was for her, and him alone. Anyone else would see her lips move, but no sound would come out. Surprisingly, he stopped. Her words like bounding law. She started to breath, how long had she been holding her breath? to give a pleasing smile then, to everyone. No idea how it be taken after the small freakout she just had though.

A beastly spirit was caught in Garruk's nostrils, the scent unmistakable. Lycan. He looked to a dim corner, the one where the small girl had leaped over to. He wondered how he hadn't noticed before, the power of it was strong. Cryth, the name leaped to the forefront of his mind. Of course, one of the original crusaders-against-Meridor.

Garruk stood, heaving his axe onto his shoulder, and taking his helm in one hand. His head nearly brushed a low cross-beam as he stood. He strolled over to the table, powerfully, resonantly, but nonetheless cautious.

He took a seat once more. "Garruk Wildspeaker, in response to your summons, Cryth. Although, I'm sure that you are as familiar with my name as I am yours. It would seem our reputations precede each other," he introduced. Indeed, Garruk scolded himself for not recognizing the signs- the scent, the location, the mission.

He leaned forward onto his elbows, looking the others who had already arrived in their faces. there was the girl who, by the way she squealed "daddy" earlier, was Cryth's daughter; a small, gender ambiguous child whose body shape tended to look more on the female side; Cryth himself... then there was a shadow: not quite beast, not truly shadow either. A daemon. It cloaked the ambiguous child like, well, a cloak.

"So, ex-high-member of a cult, waning-in-power, you believe that the Vampire Lord Meridor is alive and, though I'm hard-pressed to say it, well? What should you have this small, rag-tag band do about it?" he inquired, adding a fair amount more sarcasm than he ought have.

Cryth gave a light glare at his daughter before sighing, perhaps next time he would be less clear about rules.

-----

The two others moved over Dreamer appeared to be distraught, but Cryth understood why. He had gathered all the information he could on all of those he was about to hire, and he had plenty of contacts.
Turning toward Garruk Cryth watched as he moved over and introduced himself, "Yes, I know about you as well a planeswalker, raised by wolves, great strength. Your abilities should come in quite handy. Though I am surprised you knew of me, after all few know of my human form."

When Garruk spoke again he caused Cryth's expression to turn into a scowl, but a moment later Cryth calmed. Reia, however, was the one that grew angry at him. "The Order is not a cult. It is a reli..." Cryth placed his hand on Reias head calming her, "I am far from 'waning-in-power' my boy. As for your question, I know he is alive, and we are going to kill him again, for good this time. Though I would much prefer if more arrived, increasing our odds."

Cryth slowly leaned back, "Im sure the tales of the vampire lord reached both of you at one time or another. Most of the tale is true. The tale of his demise however was false. We did kill him yes, but the ten of us did not survive. By the time we reached him only five of us remained, and by the time we killed him only four of us remained, two in very bad condition."
A light sigh escaped Cryths lips before he continued, "Though we killed him I fear that he was brought back, no doubt by his wife. However with the fog reaching him will prove difficult. however six pendants will allow us to enter the fog without any worries about being turned around. Once we arrive at his castle we just need to find him and kill him, his wife too if she gets in our way."

"I can explain as much as I know, but now you both know our primary goal."

Reia growled some as she felt her fathers hand on her head, "Hes mean." She stated as she crossed her arms and looked away from Garruk; before smiling and waving to Dreamer, her old expression of anger dissappearing being replaced with her normal smile.
She was happy, childishly happy even, which fit her well as she saw everything as a game. Her newest game being an 'adventure'. But Dreamer seemed depressed, or scared, or both. She didn't like that, Reia liked seeing everyone happy, like seeing people smile.

"Huh," was Garruk's immediate reply to Cryth's statement. "Well, I suppose the hearsay from Mother would be incorrect, then; she says that the power off Lycus is on the decline, that both the true wolves and Lycans alike can find him... disdainful, I believe she said. But you know, those wolves can be such petty creatures, but never Mother. However, in her age, she may be prone to mis-remembering certain information. Who can be sure, except for her, what she knows?"

Garruk was being obtuse for a reason. He had learned that many Lycans were prone to violent outbursts. This one seemed to be able to calm himself. Interesting. Very interesting. He really needs to know the truth behind this character.

When Reia smiled, Dreamer smiled back a little, the fact that someone else would be reasonable here was good. The guy was just being a stupid jerk though. She didn't know what this religion was, but it seemed really important to Reia and the old guy. And Reia seemed really nice, if bad mouthing it made her mad, it had to be a really bad thing to do.

'Oh, just admit it, you like her. Its cute.'

".......", There was a faint blush to Dreamer's cheeks. Plus, a wonder of why he had to chose that moment to start speaking again.

'Heh, its been a little while. Although, I think she's to young for you. Then again.... you could pass for younger than you are. What nasty and perverse things would you do with her?'

It wasn't like that, she was nice, and she just liked nice people. She looked down at the table, still blushing a bit, yet kinda smiling. Then talk of killing people started, it kill her happy buzz. She knew it would have to come, but, she really didn't like it. She sighed a bit.

'I'll let the subject drop, but let me talk? This is why we're here, after all.' Dreamer started to nod, then Garruk made more comments, a bit off the killing subject, as if to ether try and save his ass, or be a blatant asshole, and that just made Dreamer furious, 'Oh. Don't like that, do we? Want me to kill him?'

No, not kill, she just wanted him to shut up, and go away. She didn't like him at all. He was mean, rude, not nice, and it was making her angery.

~~~~
Shadow smiled, "Pieces of filth," From behind Dreamer as massive pitch black left fist appeared as if out of her shadow, aimed dead for Garruk's jaw, with all the force of a hundred pound wrecking ball behind, "Should Just Shut Up!" The rest of Shadow was forming with off the first, the arm, then shoulder, and head, finally moving down the other side till a right hand was finished. All while a torso sank down behind Dreamer. The massive right hand came to rest on Dreamer's shoulder, its fingers coming down like metal bars. Each hand was easily large enough to wrap around a full grown man's skull. What truly made the made the moment though, was that Dreamer's look was of disdain for Garruk. In the end, all Shadow was, was Dreamer's emotions going out of control.
Suddenly, a giant shadow emerged behind the ambiguous child-looking Daemon conjurer. Calling Garruk filth? Daemons had no place on the natural realm.
With a blink, Garruk disappeared into the Elemental Plane of Nature, a place where Daemons held no sway in physical matter. He stood, calmly, from his chair, moving slowly, in this realm, seemed to create an odd mist in the Material Realm, that moved ever so slowly. The Daemon could not touch it.
He moved to a point where he stood behind Cryth and his daughter, and phased back into plain existence. Where he had stepped, in the Natural Plane, turned to a patch of moss on the floor in the Material Plane.
"Now, could we simply put this aside? Thank you," Garruk stated flatly, as he gripped the backs of Cryth and his daughter's chairs.
Reia continued smiling at Dreamer, her father had explained a lot to her about Dreamer, and her shadow. However there was still much to figure out, after all there is only so much information digging could teach him, plus he left her out of a lot of information.
She knew that she should avoid Dreamers shadow, but not why. She knew that the 'mean man' was of the wilds and had powers, but not what they were.
Reia was taken by surprise when she heard a new voice, and was more surprised when Dreamers shadow suddenly struck out at Garruk. Then more surprised when Garruk disappeared, an odd mist remaining. She started giggling some, things were getting very interesting.
When the mist stopped behind her and Cryth then she felt Garruk's hand on her chair she gave a low growl. But Cryths hand on her head caused her to smile again, "Daddy can explain everything. He has been digging information on people."
Cryth laughed some as he heard Garruk speak, "Of course his power is on the decline, energy tends to do that after you die. But that does not mean his energies are gone, Reia here is the perfect example of that. A child with the energies of Luna and Lycus."
It was about here that the shadow struck, to be honest he was surprised it took this long. Garruk used his ability to get away from the simple punch, a waste, sure the shadow would have hit with enough force to shatter the stone walls around them, but a simple step back would have worked too. When Garruk came back into their plane Cryth heard Reia growl.
Laughing he put his hand on her head calming her, she then said he would explain everything. "That I will, but will you go fetch our weapons please?"
He barely finished asking before Reia ran off running toward the bar before rounding it and running up the stairs of the Inn toward the room they were staying in.
He slowly reached into his coat and pulled out a folded paper aged brown with time. Opening it he laid it out on the table, brushing it some to get the folds out. It was a map showing the land. Everything was there, with small notes at various locations around it. There was five primary markings around the map, the manor, the graveyard, the bandit camp, the middle of the forest, and finally the castle with an etched line around it showing the fog's radius.
Reia came running back down, she held in her hands a staff nearly her height, along with two metal gauntlets. She climbed onto her chair and handed him his gauntlets. "Thank you." He said as he pulled them on, granting the others more time to look over the map.
The gauntlets pulled easily over his hand and suddenly shrunk to fit his wrist once on. They needed to be able to change size as his wrist size changed depending on what form he was in.
"There are six pendants one held by each of the six guards." Cryth stated once he felt that had enough time of looking it over. "I have found four of them, and am hoping that the defeating of the others will draw Ecra out. Memphis will be more difficult, but with any luck we will find our way to him through another of the guards. Any specific questions about the guards?"
Reia giggled as she was told to go fetch their weapons, she gave a 'weee' as she ran toward the stairs, her arms behind her flowing as she ran.
Their room was one of the first few doors, and their weapons were on one of the beds, so it didnt take her long before she ran back down the stairs.
"Here you are daddy." She squeaked as she handed Cryth his gauntlets and propped her staff on her chair before settling back into it and staring at the map.
Shadow had to do a double take, his fist had missed? No, he had hit him, he know he had. He had seen the movement, the guy had been right there, and then, mist? Since when did his fist make people explode in to mist? Could you even hit some that hard, a bloody mist would have been one thing, but, he was up and fucking gone. Shadow slowly pulled his fist back, looking at it until the man reappeared. Shadow was immediately tense and drawn back his arm, yet, it wouldn't go forward, no matter how hard he tired, his arm might as well been chained up in ever way know to man, "Dreamer, let me kill him.... Grrr... Gah!" Dreamer had refused, and Shadow started to have a small fit, arms wailing, body thrashing about, it only lasted a few seconds, and afterwords, he 'stood' behind Dreamer, irritation plain on his face.
~~~~~~~~~

Dreamer sighed, he missed. That was, new. And, it gave her a chance to cool off. She took a deep breath, and shook her head a bit before the man reappeared.

She sighed a bit more heavily when Reia went away, but looked at the map none the less. She had traveled enough to know a good map could be a life saver, then again, she also knew it wasn't always enough. Unlike Shadow, she actually took the time to look it over, not a lot of detail, but, long as you could see the sun, you could probably find your way with it. She did question the barrier a bit, if it just turned you around, couldn't someone just force themselves to walk straight? One her illusions could make a long straight wall to follow.

It was then the Reia came back, Dreamer smiled a bit, she was glad she hadn't gone away. Her eyes also watched the old man's gauntlets shrink. With out realising it, she had leaned in a bit, taking a close look at them, interest plain on her face as day or night as she tried to figure out how they just did that.

"Hey, Old Man, Dream wants to know, what happens if you walk a perfectly straight line into the fog?" So, he missed the point about having a guard rail illusions, and completely ignored her interest int he gauntlets. He did that a lot, but, at least he asked her first question, she guessed.

Cryth gave a light grin as he heard the shadow, he figured a question like this would pop up, as it was one of his own questions early on when the fog first appeared. "The fog is an illusion in and of itself, once you step in you are already turned around. You can stand still just inside the fog with no problems but the second you move, forward or backward thats when the fog turns you around and you step out of the fog itself."
Cryth had tried everything he could think of even felling a tree so it fell into the fog. He walked with his hand on the felled tree and found himself walking out of the fog on the other side of the tree.

"No light breaks the fog, and no wind moves it."

Izumi walked through the streets, avoiding people at all costs. The town still seemed lively even at this hour. She where she was going, but why still bothered her. She understood what she'd been called for but she still questioned herself on why she was accepting. She shook her head. If nothing else she'd at least be more likely to avoid bounty hunters now. In a group like this, avoiding people was more then likely a priority.

As she walked down the street she whistled softly, a small sparrow landed on her shoulder. She smiled slightly and reached up to pet his head. "Watashi wa suki no anata, Hina Suzume, desu." she said brightly as the bird rubbed his head against her cheek.

He then fluttered off and Shan watched him go. Where Suzume landed made her smile. The Inn's sign sat right under Hina's shining claw's. She jogged lightly up to the door stopping under the sign. She kissed the air a bit and Suzume moved back to her shoulder. She then opened the door, walking inside caustiously. The thought finally hit her that this could easily be a trap to claim her head. Her head never turned but her eyes searched the room.

Towards the back she spotted a group of people that seemed a bit tense. The hostess watched her curiously then asked 'Um, Miss may I help you?" Izume just shook her head, waving the girl off, saying "Iie, domo arigato." She then walked over to the table stopping about a yard away. "Sumimasen, She then cleared th throat and tried again figuring they more then likely did not speak japanese. Especially considering the launguage the letter she'd gotten was written in something else. "Excuse me. Do any of you happen to go by the name Cryth?"she asked politly. As she said this Hina Suzume leaped from her shoulder gliding down to the table. He bounced over to who seemed to be the youngest member there and looked up at the child with his head tilted slightly.

((Translation: 'I love you Little Sparrow.' & 'No, thank you very much.' P.S. She will speak Japanese often in small bits. ))

Reia smiled to dreamer again before staring at the map again. She heard the shadow ask a question for Dreamer, then Reia realized that she hadnt heard Dreamer speak at all. Turning to Dreamer she took note that she was staring at Cryths gauntlets. They were interesting and only reacted to him, she tried using them before and they wouldn't shrink to fit her. They were also a pain in the ass to remove unless you were him.

"Dreamer." She said slowly, "Why don't you speak?"

Before she could respond Reia heard the door open and her eyes shifted over, a woman motioning off one of the hostesses. The woman then walked over and asked if anyone knew of a Cryth. A small bird hopped from the womans shoulder and lightly bounced over to her. "Birdy!" She squealed as she broght her fingers up and started to scratch at the small sparrow. Her free hand raising up and pointing to her father as a response to the womans question. "Daddy is right there."

Garruk peered up as he heard some Japanese spoken. He had spent some time in the Orient, and picked up Japanese while staying in Edo.

「わたしのなまえは ガッルックです.」Although he hadn't spoken the language in decades, he retained a small amount.

((Sorry for the retardedly small post, guys. Allergies are KILLING my brain function and I'm going camping tomorrow, soo... Yeahh...))

((ALSO- that Japanese is "watashino namaewa garrukkudesu, or "My name is Garruk."))

Cryth also took note of the new entry, mentally scratching off his next hunter. As with all of his 'to be hunters' he had learned a lot about her, including the fact she was hunted. This caused his proposition to her to be different. He would be unable to call off the hit, that would be near impossible, but he could offer her the next best thing. A 'perfect hiding place', an illusion of sorts. He would offer her Edmunds secret.

Edmund had a home in the middle of the forest, but yet his home was never found unless he wanted it found. This was because of an item he had, it made it so that its owner could not be found unless the owner wished to be found. Cryth would let Izumi have the item if she wished. Reaching Edmund was never a problem for Cryth, the only problem would be the fact Edmund may not be willing to separate from such an item.

She moved toward them and asked who was Cryth, before he could even respond he heard Reia give a squeal, then calmly state that he was her father. Cryth sighed and nodded, "My name is Cryth." He said before motioning for her to take a seat, "And you arrived just in time, Izumi Shan."

Izuma glanced around the table with knowing eyes. she had already begun memorizing faces, reactions. She bowed to Cryth respecfully before taking her seat. Then she watched the young girl pet her sparrow. She smiled slightly, the action barly touching the corners of her lips but reaching all the way through to her eyes all too easily. "His name is Hina Suzume, Little Sparrow. Careful though, her likes tp nibble on fingers when he plays and sometimes gets a bit carried away." She said simply.

Izuma glanced around the table again, this time counting. Guessing that The leader wasn't one of the 'hunters' he was serching for she counted five people in their small group so far. Then her eye caught a glance of something. A shadow? It was just behind her and too her right. It seemed like more then a shadow though. A shade demon maybe? Six then? She'd find out later but for now she was saying six.

Dreamer watched the new lady walk in, her eyes more less just followed, jaw a tad jarred. She was pretty. Her mind had completely forgotten the odd gauntlets, and even Shadow for a minute, for she had just died, and gone to eye candy heaven. One girl was kind and sweet, she already liked her, and now this one....

'You'd call her a knock out, Dreamer. Learn the correct words. She seems like a messed up one though. And, I don't think she'll play for your team ether. I call dibs!'

Dreamer's eyes shot over to Shadow like he was a evil older brother, obviously stating that wasn't fair. He always called dibs, that was cheating.

'What'da mean? You were already eyeing the little girl over there, shes more your type anyway. And, asking you a question.'

Another cheep shot, she'd turn away, and he'd go for Izuma. Oh... how dare he. She huffed a bit, then pouted before turning to Reia and smiling. Long as Shadow didn't try to double cross her, she could work with this. She wanted a friend if nothing else. Shadow was going to start something about that, but, she let everyone talking blare it out.

Dreamer sighed a bit, starting to smile a bit, then pointed to her mouth, shaking her head before shrugging a bit. She could have used an illusion, but, she was kinda tired as was, no need to exhaust her self for that.

~~~~~
Shadow had watched with Dreamer, his face more blank. He argued with the girl for a moment, then once he got her attention away shifted to something more slim, and humanish. Yet, his form was still pitch black, and his eyes bright blue. He smirked, "Well, hello." Something about her, beyond the physical, it attracted him. Like a sweet scent, yet, even that was missing. It was odd. He didn't feel any drive to protect her, or mess around like he did with Dreamer, but, there was still something.
Izume watched the scene with slight interest. Quickly she added things together. The one who's name seemed to be Dreamer was connected to the shadow behind her. Back down to five. They seemed to be having a conversation though Dreamer never moved her lips. Then she smiled. She'd seen this before. "She's a mute. She CAN'T speak. Am I right?" she asked before looking up to see that the dark shape had taken a form of a humanoid shadow with bright blue eyes.
He was already flirting with her but Izume ignored that completely. She examed his form and wondered how many others he could create and take. She then wondered if he was maybe a contraced shadow spirit, maybe one whom she could borrow powers off of later. That could come in handy. Then out of respect she nodded to the blackness and answered with her own, soft "Hello."
