The Physical board was something that was more used by those engrossed in integrating the the game aspect of LZ out and more into reality. Most people who play the game more as a game checked the notice board on their digital interface windows, but there were those who liked to play the game as if it was reality, which one must admit, the game certainly made it easy to do so. On the board however there was several notices posted up for the area, the one that seemed to be first to draw Sevett's eye was a scrap of paper requesting wolf pelts. it said 20 are preferred but will accpt 5, 10, or 15 of them as well. The notice was sighed 'Otto the tanner'. (shot post is short, but oh well.) |

The quest Sevett had picked up seemed like quite a bit. Twenty wolf pelts, while wolves were rather low on the level list taking on twenty in a row would be pretty difficult for certain. Taking a glance at the NPC that had requested the pelts Sevett opened the town map to find the location of where he would turn the quest in at. It wasn't too far from where he was and it was easy enough to find for when he needed to return. Taking the short trip outside of the town Sevett began to wander around in the wilderness a short distance from the city, hoping that the wolves weren't too far away that there was the probability that a higher leveled creature could pound him into the ground. |

This was a solid start, the sort of lead Gernot would need to complete such a hunt for items. This list was something he would need. Gernot scratched his chin thoughtfully and then, setting one massive hand over the other on the table, he looked Aiken square in the face. "Might I convince you to part with your list, my friend?" Gernot approached the question with as polite and pleasant a tone he could. No need to threaten when the man was being of such help. |

Aiken cocked an eyebrow and after a moment burst into laughter. Most of the table and the room turned to look at the man who seemed to erupting into laughter as if the greatest joke ever was told. It wasn't forced from what anyone could tell but genuine laughter. When he finally caught his breath Aiken managed to wipe a bit of a tear from his right eye. "Oh, a set of steel plumbs you've got boyo!" He said breathlessly. Now why would I go give'n yeh me list when ye've got yerself the same thing. Yeh can jot what notes down yeh want from it if yeh like but I ain't about ta give yeh my hunt'n list. Wha' would I used then?"" He asked with another laugh. He turned to a woman beside him and gave her a nudge. "oi, let's 'ave a chalker then lass." He said. The woman went to protest and he scoffed. "Oh don't give me 'at, just cough one up I'll get yeh one later." He said giving her a prude look. She demanded two later. Aiken just laughed and agreed and the woman dug around in her pocket and produced a small piece of charcoal. Aiken took it and set it on the table in front of the guardian. "There, copy ta yer heart's content." He said with a laugh. [Item information: Charcoal- a piece of burnt yet firm wood which is used for marking, drawing, and writing. This item can be created by players, but unless well skilled in the crafting of it, the quality is usually poor and soft, breaking easily. High quality charcoal is most often purchased or made by experts.] |

Sevett would find as he exited the city that the city of Klein itself was generally a more high leveled area of the region, most of the area was scaled to level 5-7. This being rather high for a region with a difficulty capping out at around 9. And as it was night, it was an entirely different world than that of the day time. Most of the diurnal creatures have slunk away to the night. So some of the nastier of the animals, such as bears were out of the picture. Unfortunately however some creatures which seldom show their faces in the daytime have come out for the night's activities. And even worse, is some creatures care not whether it was night or day and are active constantly. Luck would have it through that the wolves which Savett sought are often as nocturnal as they are diurnal, so finding them wouldn't be as much of a problem, though dealing with them in the darker night would be unpleasant compared to the sunshine where footing was more even. Off in the distance a light, brighter than those of the simple lightning bugs caught the grapplers eye. It looked to be a campfire of some sort form the lowness to the ground and the small and wavering nature of the light. |

Gernot took the charcoal in his gloved hand and, raising it for inspection, found it to be adequate. Taking out his list, he wrote in the margins, adding in the notes Aiken had on his. Once content with the final product, he stood and put it away, smiling at Aiken and the company surrounding. They were a merry bunch, and he was grateful such people could be found to be of help. "Many thanks to you, my friends. Barkeep," he turned to motion at the man, "another round of drinks for this table!" With a nod of his head at Aiken, he proceeded out of the bar, a small grin taut upon his rough and unshaven face. Once out upon the streets again, Aiken set to looking about for any businesses which still might be open. He thought it best to take up the hunt for things outside the city when the light of day could aid his eyes. If there were any rarities to be had within the city's limits, it would be at this hour at which he guessed he could find them. The city was sure for secrets at the dark of evening, and he was eager to complete this quest with much haste and vigor. |

Aiken simply laughed and returned to conversing with the table while the guardian left the tavern. The city of whiterock was indeed home to a few nigh-time shops, but they where not exactly secret. The city was busy for nightime, and though the world was quite compared to the day, it was still populated with a good many peopled. Among the night locations open, there was one general vendor, one apothecary, two taverns, as well as a smith who. Granted some of the other shops might occasionally be open late, sense every shop keeper was as complete as any human, but it couldn't really be guarantee. |

Gernot surveyed the general surroundings and, spotting an apothecary, began to make his way over towards the shop. It looked to be fairly old in of itself, but then again most things in this fair kingdom had a bit of age about them. The city was a gem at night, in Gernot's eyes. He had always preferred a lesser amount of people to deal with anyhow. Large places and large groups deterred him. It did not mean he would not be amicable towards them, but he just desired the comforts of fewer friends and closer allies. He strode into the apothecary, allowing the door bell to ring clearly to announce his presence. "Ho there, I come to bring bargain to your shop," he announced to the room at large. |

The Apothecary was a firm brick building with several chimneys spouting out of the roof, though they were hidden from the average players view, only one of them was square, the others were smaller and circular in shape. Within the door there was several selves lining the walls as well as sets standing in the middle of the room. Though almost all of the building was cut off as a large counter separated the small customer area to the shop in the back. The Guardian was greeted by a tired looking man sat there at a chair who had only started awake at the sound of the bell attached to the door chiming. He looked up and wiped a bit of something from the side of his nose with his left and and blinked a few times. "Welcome, What can I get for you this evening?" He asked, though slightly slurred as he was coming out of his daze. The man had short hair, cut close to his head, though somewhat tangled and disorderly, his eyes were blue and his hands and cloths distinctly soiled, though it seemed to not be with suit or soil. |

Gernot smiled at the ease of tone the man spoke with. Everyone in this town was always so pleasant. Sure, there were bound to be an unruly sort about, but for the most part they were pleasant folk who went about their daily toils with a gentleness of compassion that is rare in the world. He stepped up to the counter and, pulling out his modified list with Aiken's contribution, he set it in front of the man. "I am in search of the items contained upon this list. I suspect you may have some quicksilver or perhaps some vampire ash. Either would be welcomed. And if you know where specifically I can obtain any other of these items I would be most gracious for the information." |

The man blinked and sighed as he took the list and scanned it over. The man had seen dozens of these things sense the start of the event, but he wasn't really concerned about it all. It was business. He set the paper down after not even hardly looking at it. He remembered what he had left and looked back up at his patron. "I've got glow dust and Alkanet left, that's it. The place was bought out of the rest." He explained. The shops in LZ didn't independently magically restock things, they obtained some things on supply convoys that the game designers made to help stock stores, and the rest had to be gathered either by themselves or by players who sold the goods to them or brought them in for gathering quests that the shop keepers put up. The man turned his head and gave a slightly high pitched and slightly wavering whistle, he didn't seem to be overly good at it, but a moment later there was a 'yep?' called from the back room in a slightly shrilled voice. "bring out a set of glowdust and Alkanet." He called back. And sure enough after a minute a small figure of a humanoid, looking to be maybe a hair over a single foot tall scuttled out and over the floor to the keeper and held up a bag and a small cloth rapped around something. The Kababout, a Humanoid race in the game, had a promanent nose sticking out of a thick and somewhat graying beard and mustache which connected with one another. His head was covered with a almost vomit green bandana. The shop keeper took the materials and turned, putting them on the counter. "here we are, anything else while you're here?" He inquired. |
