He couldn’t help but feel happy for Emery, that he may just have someone for him. But at the same time that wouldn’t stop him from hitting on Ash. Emery on the other hand was happy to have her close, he was almost dumb enough to make her distant. He looked back over to Ash, and smiled at her. Claude told called out “hey you two!!! What do you say we call it quits for today!?!?” Emery turned and looked at him, but soon turned back to Ash. “well we don’t have much, but I guess Claude wishes to call it quits for today. You wouldn’t mind would you?” he didn’t want her to sleep out her, mainly cause they didn’t bring anything with them. She could use his horse like a pillow, something Emery tends to do when he couldn’t sleep in his room.

At least not without you at my side” he spoke with a smile on his face. Emery walked up to his horse and laid him down; he could tell he was old. Heavy breathing and even seems to have a sore knee “rest friend, I’m not losing you on this journey” he rubbed his nose. Emery moved to the belly of the horse and leaned on him. Claude did the same thing, but he felt the need to add a comment “hey Ash if you wish you can join me over here”. emery paid no mind to what he said, as he looked into the sky, and started counting the stars in his head.

No Country #219#	Emery quickly lost count as he felt someone grab his hand. “God please tell me that’s Ash and not Claude acting dumb…” he thought to himself as he looked down. Seeing it was Ash, his face turned red fast, something told him that she might sleep next to him, but he wasn’t sure if it would really happen. He felt like he should let her sleep there and he move. But he just couldn’t move his legs as he sat there looking at Ash. Claude was kind of jealous, he wasn’t used to a girl picking Emery over him. He turned with his back facing them and closed his eye’s, while Emery was a little frozen. He just wasn’t used to having someone that close to him as he was going to sleep, and a girl like Ash really amazed him. “umm Ash?..” he looked into her eye’s and for some reason was nervous, he never thought he would of gotten to that point.

She could tell he was embarrassed about what he was going to say, and she wanted to tell him that it was only her and he didn't need to worry, but that might make him not want to say anything at all.

He smiled “never mind….” he turned and felt like a weirdo. Sighing he spoke under his breath “figures”, as he looked over at Claude. Leaning back onto his horse he looked back up to the sky as he tightened his hold on Ash’s hand. But not to much so it would hurt her, just enough that he really wanted her there, and something was on his mind. But he just couldn’t say it.

No Country #219#	Emery’s face turned bright red again “man why can’t I just say it?..” he was getting kind of mad at himself. He let go of Ash’s hand and turned with his back facing her “really it’s nothing, we need to rest so we can get up in the morning” he felt like a jerk that he did that. But he just couldn’t say it, he felt as if it wasn’t the right time, and wasn’t sure if she felt the same.

No Country #219#	The anger was building up in Emery, not at Ash but for the fact he just can’t say it. He tried to pay her no mind but he remembered she didn’t like that. Sitting up Emery looked down to the ground “ I guess the easiest way for me to say this would be…. I’ve fallen in love with you…” he turned his head away. The feeling of to fast hit him, but he just couldn’t stop think of her, she was always on his mind ever since they met.

He calmed himself down and wrapped his arms around her. He stopped kissing her but kept holding her close. “I’m so happy that I ran into you Ash…. I really just want to hold you for the night.. That is of course you don’t mind?” he felt weird doing this, it wasn’t like him to be so forward.

No Country #219#	“aaaaw that was the best I ever slept” Claude woke up from his rest only to see the sun right in his eye’s. Looking around to see where Emery and Ash are, he noticed Emery’s horse so he decided to walk over. “well well what do we have here?” he seen Ash and emery sleeping so close to one another. He couldn’t help but think it was such a cute sight. But that didn’t stop him from waking up Emery, grabbing a piece of Emery’s hair and pulling. Emery woke up right away with an owe. Claude shushed him and told him not to wake Ash up, Emery moved slowly, leaving Ash to lay on the horse. Claude and Emery walked over to the lake and started talking. Emery kept looking back making sure Ash doesn’t wake up, Claude on the other hand didn’t care. Taking off everything, Claude decided to jump into the water, making a loud splash and getting Emery wet. “great thanks Claude… guess I did need a bath” Emery started to laugh, as he decided to jump in also. But unlike Claude he kept his pants on.

He looked at her while swimming on his back “Ash you know you can have a good time now right? No one’s going to judge you for it. If you want to join us then do so…” he stopped swimming but kept his gaze on her “you don’t have to stay so bottled up out here, it’s just use” speaking with a smile on his face.
