"I am sorry to hear that," Rok said to Will when the man revealed that he'd lost his parents as well. And he was genuinely sorry. The realization that he actually cared made him frown slightly in thought, but he came out of that when Will reminded him that they should be going to see the king now. Well, Rok supposed they had wasted enough time. The prophet should be leaving now, if she hadn't already gone. Without a word, he led the way to the king's chamber, hoping that the noble family would be there shortly. He really didn't want to have to rush them along. That might make things a bit more awkward than they already were, considering the circumstances. When they arrived, Rok walked into the room without announcing his presence--as usual--though he did say, "Your Majesty, I have brought William as you asked." A glance around the room confirmed that the noble family was not there yet, and he added, "Your other requested guests should be arriving shortly." |

The king was sitting in his throne room still in his pensive state. He was getting in a character? Deciding what to order for dinner? It was all of this and more, and one subject that had drifted in his mind was his own advisor. Rok was picked due to his abilities and his natural charisma, but also because… Rok was a peasant. In the King’s eyes, Rok was an experiment, a successful one. It was becoming abundantly clear that when people were given an inkling of power, they would gradually seek out more. Those who already are born in power KNOW how to proceed in order to acquire it. Rok… was very clear in his insubordination. There was a very present dark aura surrounding the king as his eyes drifted to Rok and the Drugs arrival. There was no noble family yet… While Rok was busy dawdling about, how long does it take to warn a noble family and fetch a prisoner? Not THAT long; he had gotten the report he was to show the noble’s. The King made some slight modifications: adding “spy” next to “bard” and granting the dead soldier’s a hero’s funeral. “Bring this Will, I want him by my side” He motioned for the drug to walk in and noticed he wasn’t even tied up. The King smirked. The Drug was a royal guest, in one of the best rooms a peasant such as he could ever wish to be. He gets better treatment then the noble families, but that was a given. There were far too many nobles for the King’s taste. One less family soon thanks to Will. “Rok, do stay in the throne room. I wish to speak with you and this matter will not take as long as your retrieval” His aura had flared up slightly as he spoke. “Sir! Excuse the intrusion, but the Richardson’s are here” A meek looking soldier said saluting the king. The King snickered. “Excellent, bring them in, bring them in.” The giant double door opened as a portly old man, a rather plain looking woman and a young man entered the throne room and bowed before the King. “My Lord. Excuse our lack of haste but we…” The King interrupted. “Nonsense! Your only son has died to protect the life of your king. You are allowed to have your grief. I only wish to thank you. Were it not for your son, I would be dead on my throne, and as such… I have decided to give you back what was due. Your son will be sent to next world with the highest of honours.” The noble caught in his emotion. “My lord… what of the…” The King interrupted him once more. He really couldn’t stand the fat bastard, especially his nasal voice. He was controlling himself resisting the urge to punt him. “We have the assailant in the dungeons and are interrogating him as we speak. I fear France has started to move against us, Ser Richardson.” The man looked up shocked. “France?! But they would never.” “Send an assassin to kill yours truly? Have a hired killer take wrongfully your son’s life for following his sworn duty?!” The King stopped and was about to apologize when the noble spoke up first. “I’m sorry, my Lord. I’m quite distraught of the news.” The King’s aura diminished and he nodded. “My dear noble! I have fond a remedy for your grief. Have you met…Will?” He pointed at the lowly peasant. “He has rather superb power that I insist you try. It will make the pain of losing a loved one much easier to bear. Isn’t that right, William?” The King turned to the peasant. The nobles looked complacent to the King’s insistence. “Please… I can’t bear this!” The woman cried ,clutching her husband. Get them hooked on some Will. Get them hooked and have them give up their lands and riches to the throne. Once his land is acquired he’ll try this thing called “democracy”. |

A shiver went up Rok's spine as the king's aura flared slightly when he addressed him. The king obviously was displeased that the advisor had taken so long, but there had been a reason for it. He hadn't wasted that much time. He'd wanted the king to be done with the prophet before he returned. Was that so wrong? No, of course not. The king was just exercising his authority. Putting Rok in his place. But the advisor could hardly wait until he was the one sitting on that throne... He nodded to the king and took a place by the wall, leaning casually against it as he listened to the conversation between the king and the nobles. As he had thought, the king planned to use Will on them to ease the pain of their loss. Though he didn't think it was because the king wanted to get them addicted to Will's powers. He'd never experienced Will's abilities before, so he didn't know their addictive quality. |

Silence befell Skia for a few moments, the only real sound being the pounding of her heart in her chest. He'd seen her change, she was sure of it. She felt panicked. Would he rush to tell his followers or try to take her out? Skia wasn't sure whether he found her a threat because of whatever on earth she was. From the shocked look on his face, he was obviously not the same as her. She continued to eye him from behind the cover of the bushes, watching his stunned position with caution. If she made too sudden a move to get away, he'd most likely end up following her. Skia racked her mind for what she should do to get herself out of this horrible mess. Where was her sense? Skia jumped in her skin when he made noise. She held back a sigh, confused and frustrated by his way of communicating. He didn't appear threatened or ready to attack. Should she approach? That would probably be a very faulted move on her part but she did so anyways. Slowly, Skia poked her head from around the bush and peered at the male with weary eyes. Her eyes instinctively moved to glance at his weapon, only then realizing that he had very much an upper hand if this did turn into an attack. With a very human-like sigh, Skia sat down at the edge of the bush, keeping her distance but in direct sight as she tried to decode his stance. |

Apparently, the she-wolf did understand him. She slowly came out and sat at the edge, clearly waiting with caution on Nyles' next move. He didn't really know what to do at this point. He was lost in The Labyrinth with no rations. He would need the she-wolf's help. "Miss, Um... what is your name? I am Nyles Wright of Thornston, at your service, assuming that I am of any use in this immense and thorny forest... Oh, would you mind transforming back to human form? I find your talent quite fascinating, ah excuse me, I forgot that you didn't have garments so I jest on that request... Hm... I still wonder... It's possible that... If you understand me, please nod your head twice in quick succession..." Due to implication and body language, Nyles realized he may have been mistaken in her understanding him. He prayed that he wasn't lost in The Labyrinth with no means of properly communicating with his only source of help. |

Skia cocked her head to the side. Of all the things, he was going to continue trying to communicate through sound? She wanted to yell in frustration. Was she supposed to understand his tongue? She felt rediculous for not knowing what he was trying to send across. If she was of the same species as he, shouldn't she be able to communicate with her kind? Instead, she knew how to converse with other animals. The irony of the situation was not lost on her. She scoffed and shook her head in exasperation. Maybe if she mimicked the sounds she heard she might get somewhere but she couldn't well do it in this form. She contemplated changing back again but it would just make the situation much more awkward. Skia peered at the bush she sat next to and with a sigh, she walked behind it and shifted, sitting there with her head above the bushes with a slanted smile. Skia bit her lip and tried to communicate. She pointed at the male. "Mm...miss?" She replied, grimacing at the attempt. She felt strange sitting there in her natural form. Usually, she only shifted into this when she needed to bathe since it was much easier to do with the use of her hands but otherwise, being a wolf was just much more convenient in The Labyrinth. |

Planting his palm in his face, Nyles groaned in frustration as he realized that she didn't understand him after all. He was doomed. Instead of nodding twice, she retreated to the bushes again and changed back to her human form. Nyles couldn't help chuckling when the girl attempted to speak. She pointed at him. "Mm... miss?" "Nyles." He pronounced, pointing at himself and then pointed to the girl. "Miss." He wondered if she had a name at all. "Miss" would have to do for now. The girl seemed totally harmless and innocent, other than her shapeshifting ability, which in itself does not mean she was evil, since she already rescued a stranger in her wolf form. Nyles suddenly felt hungry. He then patted his stomach and gestured towards his open mouth. "Nom nom. Nom nom." He made sounds of rapid gulping in hopes that she would understand he was trying to communicate that it was dinner time. As he imagined watching himself do as he was doing, he couldn't help breaking out into laughter. |

Skia blinked. "Nyes... Nyles," she said with a bit of hesitation. Hah! she was getting the hang of it. She grinned widely, testing it out again. "Nyles!" She pointed to him and then back to her. "Miss?" She scrunched up her face. What was a Miss anyways? She hadn't a clue or what a Nyles was. Was it his species? Either way, whatever it was it was hard to mimick. She had to move her tongue around, how strange. She noticed him making more noises and giggled at the sounds. What a curious creature. She bit her lip and peered around, shifting back into a wolf so she could go into the open. She moved towards him and her canine ears could pick up on the sounds his stomach was making. Hm, she was sure there was a rabbit hole somewhere... along with a few safe berry bushes. Skia wasn't exactly sure what he would prefer. Skia nudged her nose towards where the food sources were located and then looked over at the Nyles expectantly. She wasn't that hungry, having fed with the pack earlier, but seeing as the male didn't seem very familiar with the forest Skia thought it best to point out things he could and couldn't eat. Ah, the pack. She glanced in the general direction of where they were with concern. She was going to need to go back at some point. They were probably expecting her by now. She paced for a moment and went through a break in the trees, expecting Nyles to follow her. |

The sight crunch and jingle of metal quietly in the mid day in the air as of a thousand ringlets compressed and moved against one another. The soldier on which the chainmail was dawned, stood at his post next to the gate of the city, spear in hand. It was not a particularly harsh day, and the well kept soldier was thankful for it. For though he had not worn the leather underpadding that is set hand in hand with his chainmail shirt, it was still quite the hot piece of protective gear. Though it's usefulness and merit could not questioned. The interlocking ringlets provided protection from slashed, hacked or even broad thrusting blows, and kept him alive when lesser armor would have failed him. And it was better ventilated as he wore it now, with simply a uniformed Tunic underneath, than a full suit of Plate. Robert had been stationed on guard duty at the city gate for the moment. It was a simple yet tedious task, which included checking suspicious persons or carts entering or leaving the city, and keeping an eye out for wrong doings in the city in the general area around the gate. However despite the tediousness Robert would neither complain nor question the orders. Orders where orders, and as such, absolute, though it was also a perk that on a day as today. For standing there on post, he could enjoy a sight that truly brought a smile to his lips. In the street, several children kicked and tossed about a hard cloth ball likely filled with rags or some other heavy yet not overly hard substance. Robert loved children, and gained a good bit of enjoyment from watching them play. But he would only steal looks from time to time, for he was still on duty, and still at post, and as such he could neither afford to, nor allow himself to break for that to devote any more than an moment of smiling at the children as they shouted and played. Will cautiously moved toward the scared fat man and his wife. He raised up his hands and spun around to show he carried no weapon, nor was he there to harm either of them. He quickly stole a glance at the king. Why did it scare him so much to be near him? It was as if the mere presence scared him. Well, he would do his duty and see if he could get away from the man as soon as possible. "Please, I assure you both, I am not here to harm you. I am truly sorry for the loss of your son and I am here to help ease your pain. I can do this, I promise," he said in what he hoped was a reassuring tone. However, he wasn't sure which one to deal with first. Probably the woman. She was much more frantic and maybe the man wouldn't be so worried when he saw how much bliss his wife was in. Will focused his gaze on the woman and concentrated. He would just give her a low dose. Make her a bit happy. Not long after his gaze fixed on her, the woman stopped crying and being loud. She sighed from happiness and closed her eyes. Will could have sworn she would have laid back and relaxed had there been something to lay on. After a few moments he cut it off. Sure enough, the husband was no longer so scared. He was holding his wife's hand and asking what was going on. Will giggled slightly when she explained that it felt like a pleasant warmth spreading throughout her body. Now the man seemed eager. "As you can see, sir, I plan no malice against you. Would you like a dose?" he asked. The man thought it over rather quickly and nodded. Will then focused his power on the man. However, it didn't effect him quite as much so Will boosted the power a bit. He started responding like the wife, but it seemed Will had placed a little too much on him because he fell over. He had to suppress a laugh, but it didn't take long for him to get his composure back. "There you go, sir. Do you feel any better?" |

The King had left earlier and brought Rok with him. They were to discuss something important while the nobles were allowed their moment of peace with Will and some faceless guards. The Nobles included the father and the mother, most influential people of the Richardson wealth. They were also one of the wealthiest nobles in all of the land, and very anti-war. It was bound to change now that their son was killed by a French spy. War united this place, and would unite the rest of the continental Europe; such was the King’s ambition. The woman thoroughly enjoyed Will’s touch, but when it was over and she plunged in reality. In a reality where her son was lost and yet another war will take many more of her children, her grief seemed to have increased tenfold, while the man was enjoying Will’s touch… The mother could feel the darkness grow within her. Will gave her light. As son as the father was done, the woman spoke up. “Please, might I have… more? I just… can’t bear this. My first son was taken from me! God only knows how many more will be stripped from me! Please!” The woman was frenetic once more. The husband went through something similar, only he was more able to control himself; disciplined to not show weakness in such dire times. “Give her another dose.” The Man nearly ordered. The young man that came in with the nobles was the last son, the youngest. He looked as if he was still in his teens. He had red eyes, holding back the tears. “Wait” He spoke up, the first words he uttered since they entered the hall. “I want… to feel good too” He walked up to Will. “Please!” The valve was opened and the tears came pouring out. |

Will was hesitant to hit the wife with his power again. She seemed much too eager for it already. He was afraid she was already hooked by the addiction. However, he was there to please them. Surely if the king found out he refused he would be punished. With a sigh he mentally let go of the struggle within his mind. He was just about to give her another shot when the young boy spoke up. He shrugged to the woman. "All is fair. You have had a dose. Let the young man experience his turn," he said kindly. The kid abruptly stopped crying. In fact, the tears were replaced with laughter. It was as if the boy was being tickled and he even fell over! When tears came to the lad's eyes he looked back to the mother. He sighed only once more and let her get struck with the pleasure. He put it about the same level as he did before. This time there was something to lay on. The poor boy that had fallen was now being used as a pillow by his own mother! It made Will laugh and cut his concentration. Immediately afterward the woman stopped and looked around as if she momentarily forgot where she was. However, she didn't seem to care that she was still on her son. |

The red haired girl had changed back to wolf form and approached Nyles. He couldn't feel a brush of impatience at how futile it was to try to communicate with her. The she-wolf had sniffed him once again, making Nyles conscientious about the stench of human blood he had on him, as he had killed earlier. He then wondered what the wolf did eat, seeing as the forest was quite unlike any other. He hadn't seen any fruit or edible plants at all and it seemed like the forest was devoid of any prey like creatures. She had turned and walked back to the edge of the little area they were standing in and jerked her head, as if beckoning him to follow. Nyles took a tentative step. When the she-wolf continued on as she saw him follow, he gained more confidence and sped up to match her pace, unfortunately getting cut here and there due to the dense and thorny brushes. He had no idea what was going to happen and could only place his trust in his new companion. |

The mirror had shattered; to be brought back to this reality when you’ve reached a state of pure bliss is the worst. This woman in particular was especially hysterical; if the King was a betting man, then betting that Lady Richardson was going to get hooked was a sue win. She had such a fiery temper; he only wonders how her husband manages to keep her in check. It was clear that the meek man wasn’t in charge in the family, a few minutes with them will demonstrate that; especially when it came to politics. They were anti-war, anti-suffering; how idiotic. To be weak in a world full of treacherous nobles is the equivalent of being naked, one-legged covered in spices in the middle of the savannah surrounded by hungry hyenas. They were a threat to the kingdom with their philosophy and had to be taken care of, and what would be a more ironic way to get rid of them with a very potent “feel good” peaceful sensation? King Edward walked back to his throne room, his three loyal guards following behind him as they carry the young advisor Rok. It seems as though Rok had gotten in quite a tussle, two guards being forced to hold him up while the third walked behind them. They walked slowly, taking their time. Nobody really objected. If Rok had a rotten attitude with the royal family, then how would his attitude be towards those of much lower class? King Edward was only torturous toward the soldiers that got there through their families influence, like Ser Richardson. He was an annoying little plep. He had much more respect for the soldiers that came from more humble environments; they often made the strongest and most loyal of vassals. Much like Ser Robert, one of the oldest soldiers in his regime and often put slightly aside to insure he was alive should the King need his services. The King had already plotted this in advance. He knew who was going to be sent, he knew basically how it was going to turn out, and should anything not go according to plan he was betting on the old prophet to tell him. They reached the throne room and the doorman knelt at the King. “Aren’t we submissive” commented the King. “Open the door lad.” The young soldier quickly opened the double door for the king, Rok and the three guards. What a sight to behold. He saw the woman begging t Will, clutching his clothes begging for more, while the two meek men looked about. The man was cowardly trying to calm her down, while the son kept his mouth shut. He would’ve watched, but… He couldn’t risk anything come to harm to his precious little drug. “Smith, Jones and William. Drop what you’re doing and restrain that woman” What he especially loved about peasants’ soldiers? They literally dropped Rok’s body and dagger on the ground, as they went and grabbed the woman by her arms, the other soldier holding the two meek men at bay. The King stepped forward. “Oh my, I grant you such a special opportunity and this is how you treat poor Will? Really, such inconsideration on both his part and MINE” His aura flared up at the last word and the frightened woman calmed down. He gave a sign of the head to both his guards as they let her go. The woman bowed. “I’m so sorry ,my lord. Please accept my apologies, I simply wished…” The King stopped her. “Do not fret Lady Richardson. I understand, losing a close member of your family is something that hits the heart, the unbearable pain that comes with it is both excruciating and never-ending. However…” The King turned to Will. “We can’t overextend the abilities of this lad. He is still human, even if extraordinarily gifted. If you wish to see him again, then I require payment.” The woman looked shocked and outraged. “Y-You…” the King interrupted her once more. “Now please choose your words carefully” He said very slowly with his dark aura increasing with each syllable. “Remember the Angelos’ with their loose tongues.” The Lady bit her lower lip. “Now leave my throne room. I have business to attend, as you can see my advisor is in bad shape.” He pointed at the fallen shambles that was Rok’s body. They were all shocked, all three of them. They never saw Rok disciplined; they always thought he was immune to the King’s rage. They bowed at the King and promptly left. The King watched them leave and turned to the drug. “Will! Please work your magic on Rok.” He then turned to the three soldiers from earlier. “Smith and Jones, please wait by the throne room. I have a special assignment for both of you.” The two soldiers saluted as they respectively stood by one side of the throne and knelt down on one knee with their heads down. The King then approached Ser William. “Williams, here.” He handed Williams a parchment that was held on King Edward’s person. “Deliver this to Robert; he’s currently guarding the main gate, and then come back here. You too will be part of this special assignment” The soldier promptly left the throne room, message in hand. ((ooc: Jester. I’ll write you in PM form the message Robert will get)) The King then walked over to his throne and sat down, watching as Rok was getting some feel good sensation from Will. Now… where was that beloved Queen of his to take away his pain; while Rok was getting drugged? |

This was probably the most dangerous and foolish thing Skia had ever done so far in her life. What on earth was she thinking by leading Nyle around her forest. It was for all purposes hers, as well as her packs, for they were the most remotely normal animals in this region. Only they and the rabbits seemed to coexist with the dragons (though she hadn't seen many of those in her life here) and other creatures that seemed so peculiar even to her. Something naturally told her that they weren't very common on this earth and most likely the reason why Nyle's kind did not come often into this wilderness. Skia lead him towards where she'd last seen a rabbit hole. The likelihood of the rabbits still being there after her pack's hunt was very low but she held onto the hope. There were many sounds in the forest, sounds she was used to by now but were fairly intimidating and nerve-tingling to others not of The Labyrinth. Finally, Skia approached the area and pointed her nose towards the rabbit hole. Did they eat those things? She wasn't sure. For all she knew, they liked carrots and the odd purple berries that the rabbits themselves preferred eating. Were her... Nyle's kind carnivores? She hoped so or his pickings for food was skim at this time of day. The berries would have died by now as their lifespan was only for 24 hours. Another reason why not many herbivores survived in The Labyrinth. She sat down on her hind legs and stared off at a tree that had made distinct rustling sounds and her eyes zoomed in on a snake that was making its way down the branches. Skia could never tell whether the snakes in the forest were safe or not and so she made it her job to stay far away from them and this time was no exception. Skia stood on all fours and walked to the opposite side of the general area they were in. Snakes were not her friends here. |

She stopped, suddenly, and after a moment, Nyles saw that he was led to a rabbit hole. He was greatly intrigued at how she had understood his hunger... unfortunately, Nyles had never dined on rabbit meat. It was only the finest portions of roasted pig, meat, and chicken. This would be a new venture in the culinary world, Nyles thought. He drew his sword, but saw the she-wolf back away from him. At first, he thought she was afraid of his sword but then looking behind him, he saw what was the focus of her attention. "Don't worry, Miss, tis just a serpent easily dispatched." The snake was almost like a vine, hanging coyly and innocently but it had sprung alive, hissing at the individuals that had disturbed its slumber. Nyles waited as the snake lowered itself and coiled. Most snakes outside of the Labyrinth tended to flee upon human contact but it seemed that the serpents amid the dark forest were quite volatile. It lashed out quickly, but Nyles was the true expert in the realm of speed. With a quick slash, he cleanly beheaded the snake, leaving a squirming corpse that was releasing all the muscular tension. "Hm... I just had a wierd thought... Wonder what snake tastes- nah I'd rather have rabbit..." Turning back to the rabbit hole, Nyles took a moment to ponder whether the rabbits were any different from ones outside the Labyrinth. He also felt a pang of guilt as he never enjoyed killing harmless creatures. He decided that he would rather have snake after all. Picking up the now still corpse, he slung it around his neck like a scarf. "Now for some firewood... well, I wonder where I could get some?" With mock rumination, Nyles then made a sound as if he just came to a solution after a long period of contemplation. Chopping down a few branches from a nearby tree, he laid out a campfire. He then scratched his head as there were no signs of any kind of stones he could use to create a spark. Nyles then started spinning the wood on top of another log, in hopes of starting a fire but the results were pitiful. |

Skia eyed Nyles curiously as he pulled out his weapon but soon realized he was going to fight the snake. Well, he certainly could hold his own but sometimes things were better left not touched. Her eyes stayed glued on the head of the snake, it's beady eyes staring at her as if it were blaming and accusing her for the disturbance and death. She growled low in her throat as he picked up the snake, worried it wasn't edible. Her pack usually stayed to a routine diet of rabbits and other herbivores just so they didn't get any food poisoning. Snakes here seemed to carry all sorts of diseases, as well as venomous blood. Skia wasn't sure whether this one was similar to the ones she'd encountered before but knew if anything, the blood would attract other creatures. Skia felt restless and pawed the head of the snake into a bush and away from them. She looked back at Nyles as he attempted to make a fire. She scoffed, almost laughing at the sad state of the logs. During the winter, her pack would eye her until she shifted to make a fire for them to keep their bodies warm. Skia shifted from leg to leg uncomfortably. She wanted to help but there was the nagging fact that she was not covered as he was. Instead, she decided to poke at the snake, smelling it's meat and waiting for it to set off alarms in her nostrils. It didn't smell exactly like the more poisonous snakes of The Labyrinth but she was still weary of it. |

![]() Elegant and soft steps could be heard across the smooth marble floor of the ever grandiose hallways. The only one that can do such movements in the palace was the gentle and benevolent Queen who was admired in many ways by the people. It was followed by other steps that could be attributed to the handmaidens assigned to the Royal Lady. They had always done their best to accompany the Lady Queen due to their debt to her of being averted to be scorned by the King. She had always been the shield by the people against wanton violence. It was the least she could do due to sudden madness of Her King. In any case, she had been in her chambers for some quite time. The Queen had aided in healing the sick without the knowledge of Edward. She was certain he would not allow her to partake in such an event in fear of harming her constitution. Yet, she did so in her own volition and had pushed herself than she had intended to. In result, she had been cast with spell of sleep whenever she pushes beyond her limits. Fortunately, she had only slumbered for a few excess hours instead of days or even months which had occurred when her adopted father was still in reign. If her condition had taken notice by Edward, all hell would break lose which she could not bare to have for the fear he might take it out to the innocent people. Ever since the Prophet had spoken of the person that would end Her King's reign, everything had been turned around completely. She had always told him that he should not be bothered with such prophecy and focused in ruling the Lands in equal hand yet, he was still tormented by the idea of a person capable of robbing him of his prestige. She even heard of having their only son be sent on a hunt. It ails her to no end of any possible harm of touching her dear child. If she could go back in time and have not allowed the Prophet to come, maybe things would not be as drastic as it had been. Despite such events, her loyalty remains with her King and family. It was without doubt that she would even sully her hands with blood if such a happening occur. Her inner musings had come to a halt as she was now before the door to the Throne Room. The guards that were placed for security bowed in reverie of her. She gestured for them to raise their heads and gave a humble smile as the doors were open for her entrance. She was certainly surprised at the scene being played before her. The advisor Rok was in terrible shape and looming over his form was the man she had come to know as Will. He had been labeled by Edward as an addictive drug of sorts. Her handmaidens seemed startled as well as they remained silent and hidden behind their Lady in fear of obtaining the spite of the King. It seemed no one was exempted from the harsh tendencies of the Lord. "My Beloved King, I pardon for my tardiness of showing myself in your presence. I am a bit of under the weather yet, it is nothing to worry about." Amina had spoken as she walked towards Her Husband with her eyes unwavering loyalty and with slight annoyance of what she was witnessing. She had gestured for her handmaidens earlier to leave the Throne Room for privacy and their safety. She gazed at the disheveled state of the Advisor and what was Will doing to him. Once more, her gaze of pure onyx was upon the King. It seemed that many things had happen while she was in a deep sleep. "My King if you would allow me. I would like to aid the condition of your Loyal Advisor. It would not be healthy to leave him in such a state. I also worry about the man helping him. In addition to that, you have sent our son to a hunt. Moreover..." The end of her sentence lingered as she approached Edward now was in front of him. Her hands gently held his face as her eyes looked at him with clear worry. She was indeed a being of beauty and her mere presence exude a degree of calmness. No wonder many men envy him for having such a wondrous lady to be beside him. Amina kissed him with such care upon his forehead and had a smile so kind directed only to him. "I am worried about you... It seemed you are greatly troubled." |

The Kng was resting on his throne, gazing as Will was pumping Rok full of his “medicine”. He couldn’t help but chuckle. He had that beating coming to him for a long time, though… Rok did in fact get a good hit on the King. There was a bruise on his left cheek from their “friendly” spar. Needless to say, the king had not held back in the slightest. The door to his throne room opened. He immediately stood up when he recognised the beauty before him; his beloved Amina: the Saint that stood by the Demon King. The mere sight of her negated the threatening dark aura around him. Not entirely due to her special ability, there was nothing more he cared about then his beloved wife. Currently, everything in the room was filled with a dark void; all he could see and hear was his Queen. He greeted her with a bow. “Oh My Queen, do not excuse yourself. If you’re feeling under the weather, I would feel more at ease had you stayed in your chambers.” His tone of voice was unlike the tone he spoke of earlier. It was soft, caring, and human. He did notice the annoyance in her eyes. It was to be expected; she was a delicate flower. Sights of suffering, sights of violence were not for her beautiful eyes. If anything, Edward does his best to keep the two at bay. He has done atrocious things for the good of his kingdom, and most of them are not known by the Queen. Should she learn of them…? It would tear her apart. He doesn’t even dare think what she would do if she learned it all. The king was unable to step against the Queen. “Please, do try and help the Advisor my Queen, but please wait while Will… prepares him properly." She approached him, and pressed her delicate hands on his face. He winced slightly as she touched the bruise on his cheek. “My Queen, do not fret. The nightmare is nearly over” He whispered only for her to hear. He joined his hands with hers as he lightly kissed them. “We found it lurking in the Labyrinth. The Prince has succeeded in finding her. I’m sending the advisor and some soldiers to aid our son. It’s nearly over…” He said with a genuine smile, hope radiating from his eyes. |

King of Wackatopia: "I'll guarantee your safety, give you meaning, give you knowledge and something to believe in for the low cost of your personal freedom." Fang: "Look at you, you're gorgeous, you're beautiful, and when i look into your beautiful eyes all I see is this magnificent elegant creature, full of grace, full of strength. You're mesmerizing. You're intoxicating. I want you near me. I want to indulge you." Ryan: "If my survival means the death of innocents, then so be it" Kyliden: "This one is strong. He's brave and takes what he needs. He's a better werewolf then i could ever wish to be." Diego: "I can't control what i feel, querida mia. This spark will become a big lively fire. It will consume me, it will consume you and everyone around us, and once nothing is left, new life will spring eternal." Wade: "She made me love her before she sired me. She wanted a companion, a friend, a lover to indulge her throughout the centuries. Her demise filled me with emptiness; she was to give me a purpose and now I'm alone." | |

Robert stood at his post, his hand loosely resting on his spear as he watched though what was going on. He hadn't said much to his fellow soldier on watch that day. Robert could be personable, but today he was just feeling quiet. He had watched the children till they had run off to play elsewhere and left him to once again himself and his fellow Soldier. It was not too long however before another appeared, making his way up to him. Robert was handed a peace of parchment which he curiously looked at as the man walked away. He opened up the paper and unrolling it he pondered over it. Robert had never been very good with his written words. It was always slightly slow for him to look over, when he finally did read through the entirety of the order he paused and shook his head, rereading it, certain that he had misread. But sure enough there it was, and below it the royal seal. He felt a cold sweat bead along the underside of his jaw and neck. He shook his head one last time and looked over to his fellow watchman for the post. "I've orders to leave post. I'll see you around James." After giving and receiving a nod, he made his way off into the city. He took a slight detour as he did so. His spear in one hand, rested slightly on his shoulder, and in his other the parchments, which was gripped tightly in his leather gloved fist. The crinkling of the parchment echoing in his ears even after the sound had reached it's conclusion. Robert made his way over to the smithy, and walking around to the forger the smithy looked up as to inquire and Robert simply waved him off and tossed the parchment into the flames of the forge. He then walked off, leaving the smithy with a confused look on his face. After disposing of the oder, Robert made his way to the castle. It was a building of sturdy stone and mortar, and Robert as a child used to wish to see the inside of one. He had long sense done so, and he now walked in to the instructions awaiting him, and the grim instructions already given. Making his way to the thrown room, he informed the doorman he was here on the request of the king, which the door was then opened to him after he had set down his spear to the side. A sword at his hip was one thing, but a spear was far too large to be within the court less he be a guard. So entering the throw room and noting both king and queen together he stepped aside to the side of the door and stood at a formal rest till the king had attended his business and was willing to see him. He dare not intrude upon royal happenings. ((The waiting works out well cause I'm off to the farm today and a concert likely tonight, so I might not be on much.)) After a long and furious session of rubbing... Nyles lit a fire. It was a modest one, but good enough to fry some snake. Using his sword, he skinned it and hung it on a makeshift rack above the fire. Turning to the she-wolf he smiled and beckoned her to come by the fire where it was warm, as the day was coming to a halt and temperature was dropping. He then wondered what was going on back in Thornston. "Hm... how many innocent women were killed today?" Nyles sighed as he talked to no one in particular. Suddenly he broke out into song, "Campin by a fire!!! Things are lookin dire!!! Boy she's a sight to ad~mire!!! Woooaaaaahhhh yeaaaaaahhhhh.... ahahaha I need to just clam up now before I awake some sleeping beast..." Suddenly a deafening blast of sound, a terrifying roar, attacked them from nearby, causing the trees to rattle. Looking towards the source, Nyles realized his folly and looked at the she-wolf. With an apologetic stare, he beckoned to quietly move away from the fire and into the darkness, away from the dragon. If they were lucky, the dragon would calm down and go back to sleep. |

A panic had stricken Will. The woman was already addicted and was practically threatening him! Things were not looking good and he wanted to get away. However, he was too scared to move! He was a bit relieved when the guards pulled her away. How strange, he hadn't even realized that the king had left. Though, that hadn't bothered him too much. What did bother him was the form laying on the ground. What had happened? He listened to the king and was horrified when he realized what that form was. He lifted Rok up and brought him to the center of the room. He apologized numerous times because of the groans that escaped Rok's lips. He was surely in great pain. He laid him down and let his power numb him to where he would have barely felt it if he was on fire. He should feel well enough to speak, but he would still feel some pain. Not nearly as much however. He had to figure out where Rok was hurting after all. He smiled a little and cocked his head to the side. "Hello, sir. Please, pardon the pain for now. How do you feel? I left you with some feeling so that you can help me while I aid you. Can you do that for me?" He was a doctor now. His tone had been of a doctor talking to a patient in extreme pain, not of a caring man that was worried over his potential friend. When the queen and soldier came in, Will didn't even notice. He was too wrapped up in helping Rok to pay attention to much else. Hopefully they had some sort of medicinal herbs at the castle. Will wouldn't be able to fix him without anything. Keeping him from feeling pain would cause him to always keep his concentration on Rok. Will couldn't do that until he was healed. There had to be more he could do. |

Rok was understandably stunned when he felt his body start to go numb. It took him a moment to realize that this was Will's doing, and he couldn't exactly bring himself to complain. He was still in pain, but it was at a manageable level now. He was no longer wishing he'd pass out and be spared the agony for a while. At Will's questions, he managed a nod. He'd do what he could to help Will help him. He was always willing to do that. As for how he felt at the moment... Well, not good. And he told Will in a pitifully weak-sounding voice that made him cringe mentally, "I have felt much better..." And he'd also felt worse, but he wasn't going to mention that. Mostly because he didn't want to think about it. He curled on his side as he coughed harshly, blood flying from his mouth as he did. As if it wasn't already clear, he was in pretty bad shape. He had an agonized look on his face as he shifted to laying on his back again, gasping slightly for breath. |

Will just nodded in response and placed a hand on Rok. He had to figure out where he was hurting. "Alright, now I'm going to move my hand to various parts on your body. So you know why I choose those spots, I will be going from which would be worse if damaged so we can get that fixed first. Alright, just tell me when you feel more pain than you are in right now," he explained. His hand moved to Rok's forehead and he put pressure on it. It moved to th top of his head and put pressure on it. Then he lifted Rok's head a little to put pressure on the back of it. Afterwards, he moved to Rok's throat. His chest, several spot on his stomach, other spots on his back (mostly along the spine), legs, and then arms were next in that order. Every time Rok had mentioned more pain he made a mental note of that. Figruring out where all hurt was top priority at the moment. |

That particular examination yielded some useful results. Rok had to bite back a cry of pain as Will pressed down on his broken ribs. There were a few tender places on his back as well from how many times he'd ended up hitting the ground with it, and the shoulder that he rolled on was also hurting him. Some of those spots on his stomach also were clearly hurting him, but apart from the aforementioned places, he was technically fine. He was just hurting everywhere from using that power of his. Speaking of which, his right eye was fully visible to Will right now. It had been covered by his hair before, but now it was uncovered and the number 1 was visible in its center instead of a pupil. |
