"... You could certainly say that," Rok stated in regards to property damage. Right after he said it, he stepped into the room where the guard's family spent much of their time while in the castle. Thankfully they were here. It would have been very tedious to have to search all over the place for them.

The nobles seemed to know something was up the moment that Rok and Will stepped into the room. Especially considering the look of deep sorrow that had rather suddenly appeared on the advisor's face as he looked at them. And their looks in return could easily be read as "Oh God, what happened this time?"

He gave the nobles a small bow before saying, "It is with very deep regret that I inform you of your beloved son's demise. I was witness to the horrible event myself, but take solace in the fact that he could not have died in a more honorable way. That treacherous and untrustworthy French bard... He had hidden a knife on his person with murderous thoughts in his dark mind. He made an attempt on the life of our dear king, and if not for your son's brave sacrifice in the line of duty and in keeping with his sacred vows, it would have been our king's heart pierced by the knife rather than his own..."

He took a moment to gather himself, then stated, "In light of this, the king has requested your presence in order to personally thank you for your son's service and to assure you of his deepest regrets over your son's noble death... He expects to see you shortly, and I hope you will come."

With that said, he motioned for Will to follow him out of the room. He'd give the family time to grieve, but if they didn't show up in the throne room by the time the prophetess left, then Rok would not be pleased. But it seemed that he had some time to spare, and he didn't entirely object to having Will's company during this time.

"That was difficult, as always," he remarked, though he seemed to be perfectly content and not at all sad once he was away from that room. "The king seems to requite more and more of me when it comes to such stories..." He didn't mind Will knowing that what he had told the nobles wasn't the truth. Will was surely intelligent enough to know that to mention to the nobles--or anyone else, for that matter--that the story was false would be to invite his own death.

This man was good! So convincing. In fact, Will would have been deceived if not for the fact that moments before there was no remorse on Rok. The guise also fell as they left the room. Now, Will was extremely nervous around him. He would say nothing about the "stories" fore he worried what the outcome would be. Though, he was curious as to what actually happened. "Well, seeing as you have confided in me that was a story, may I know the truth?" he asked.

Politics seemed confuse him more and more. What was to happen while they waited? Would the nobles be tricked? So many questions ran through his head and he had a feeling that the answers would bring nothing but more questions. Will was nervous to meet the king again. The man almost literally scared the piss out of him when he first saw him. Everything was working against Will it seemed. Why? He was so frustrated and he could have yanked out his own hair! However, he didn't. His calm demeanor showed no signs of inner turmoil.

Rok took a quick glance around to make sure no one else was within earshot before smiling at Will and saying, "It is quite true that the bard killed the man, but it was by the king's order. The prophetess told him that guard should be killed, and our king in his incessant paranoia decided to act on her advice." Though his words might make it seem like he was judging the king for it, his tone suggested otherwise. By simply being too difficult to read. There was a mix of too many subtle tones in his voice for someone to figure out exactly how he felt about this.

Okay, this Rok fellow was entirely too hard for Will to read. He was so strange, yet he seemed brilliant. He seemed spiteful, yet sincere. This man was indeed tricky. Maybe he should be more direct with him now. He calmly waited for a few servants to walk by and proceeded with their conversation. "The king sure seems pretty worried if he is hanging off of the woman's every word. What do you think of the king seeking so much from the prophetess, sir?" he pried. However, he realized that he may have been to abrupt. Would seeking so many answers lead to his execution? Oh, there must be some useful information that resides in this man. Maybe if he showed Rok his power it would startle him so much that he could escape... He pondered this, but decided to only use it as a last resort. If he didn't succeed that time, then he would be more used to it and he would have to boost its power to have more of an effect on him next time he decided to try it.

Rok didn't seem to care that Will was asking so many questions. In fact, it seemed to intrigue him. Quite the inquisitive slave this Will was. Fascinating. Though he wondered why the slave cared so much. His lot in life was to please or heal whoever the king sent to him for his services. It wasn't his place to ask questions. Didn't mean that Rok wasn't going to answer them, though. His social persona wasn't exactly afraid of playing the political chatterbox.

"Well, it is naturally a cause of concern for many people," he answered with a shrug. "The prophetess speaks in so many riddles... It is all too easy to come to the wrong conclusion when faced with such baffling verbal puzzles. Perhaps he may find fault in someone who does not deserve to be punished." He was mentioning no names, of course, but that was clearly his opinion. And his concern. If Will was insightful enough, he'd pick up on that.

Will pondered over the adviser's words in silence. It seemed the king was quite paranoid indeed. Maybe he could use that to his advantage. The adviser seemed fearful that the king would target him, or maybe the adviser's words were meant for Will himself? If the latter was the case, there wasn't too much more you could do but torture or kill him. Will was already a slave, but he did have hopes of getting out. All of the plans Will came up with seemed like it would some how turn on him. He continued thinking and finally, he thought he figured it out.

He waited for a few more people to pass by and he decided to leak out a portion of his plan by letting Rok figure out what he was thinking. "Rok, it seems you fear for your life. Do you think the prophetess could turn the king against anyone? Even someone such as yourself? Well, if it were me, I might leave before that could possibly happen, or maybe even wait and leave once he gets such ideas. However, going out on your own would be terrible. You need some connections with the other villagers. I just don't know how you could, if it was needed, escape and remain undetected long enough for his thoughts of you to vanish, sir," he explained, hoping that Rok would take the hint.

Rok glanced at Will, giving the slightly-older man an inquisitive look. He didn't make any sort of comment about what he'd said, though. Not at the moment. He could see what the slave was getting at, certainly. Rok would need connections outside of the castle if he wanted to stay hidden from the king long enough for things to blow over. And Will could provide those connections. So if Rok fled, Will was essentially asked him to take him along.

"Perhaps so," he said at last, giving a small shrug. "But I would rather wait and hope the king will not decide to order my execution anytime soon."

Holding still, not a muscle twitching, Nyles waited as the wolf sniffed him out. It seemed to be examining him with a slightly haughty air, almost like it was superior, which it probably was except the steel blade that kept Nyles from becoming a meal. Being his first time in The Labyrinth, he wondered whether it was normal for wolves to travel alone, since the trees grew so cluttered together that there was no room for more than a few. The wolf finished sniffing and left. Nyles decided to follow.

The wolf kept sniffing but this time, itself, as if discontent with its fur. Nyles let the distance increase so it would sense him but he knew that it was probably useless. Wolves had a superior sense of awareness and the only reason it hadn't sensed Nyles was because it was distracted by itself. After awhile, Nyles lost track of the wolf but instead, heard faint sounds of splashing in the distance. He just realized he was really thirsty so he gave up on finding that special wolf. Following the sounds, he reached the clearing which contained a lake. and Shakira!

Nyles walked to the water and drank, like an animal would. He was thirsty and there was no one there to see how unfitting of a prince he was currently being... and then he saw buttocks. Extremely enticing buttocks but at the moment, Nyles was jumping back in shock as he saw a girl with flame red hair completely naked.

"Oh my lands!" He exclaimed.

Skia felt a presence and turned to face the male from before drinking from the lake. Instinctively, she ducked back into the water, unsure of what else to do. Had he followed her? Had he seen her change? He seemed startled, though she couldn’t blame him. She was tempted to shift into a fish or tadpole just so she could get away but that would only heighten his suspicions and cause even more alarm. She’d draw too much attention to herself.

She swam farther into the lake to keep away from the male and only came back up to the surface when she was a good distance away. Skia eyed the male cautiously from where she was, only half of her face exposed from the water. She wasn’t sure of his intentions. If only she knew how to communicate but each time she drew a blank. Instead, she attempted to mimic his outburst, trying and failing at using her lips and tongue correctly.

“Ohmia,” she tested out. Well, that didn’t sound exactly how his had. How did he do that? Skia bit her lip and squinted at the male. “Ohmiya,” she tried again. For all she knew, that was something to the male though she’d never know so. If only he was a wolf this would’ve been much less awkward and tense…

"Ohmia," The girl said, "Ohmiya."

Nyles quickly braced himself for whatever deluge of pain that would be instilled upon him for breaching the sacred domain of female nudity. It didn't seem like she had a hard object to chuck at him for being a peeping tom, so he lowered his arms and turned so he was perpendicular from her, only seeing a blur from his peripheral vision. The girl had to be the red-haired girl in the prophecy. The age and hair color fit. Unfortunately, Nyles was unsure what to do at them moment. He still had to figure out what the girl was trying to say.

"Ohmia, ohmiya." Nyles said with an elaborate wave, unsure of whether she was greeting him or cursing him for intruding on her cleaning hour. He also realized that the girl probably does not realize she was who he was looking for, so for the best, Nyles would have to be secretive. He would have to get her back in her clothes, as reversed as that sounds, in order to reach his goal. His goal of capturing her.

"Ah, pardon me, miss... I mean no harm and only wished to quench my thirst but I shall excuse myself... unless you were finishing up? And may I ask how you came to be out here all by yourself? It is quite dangerous..."

Skia smiled in relief at his response. So she'd said something he understood! Was it a greeting of sorts? Thankfully, he didn't seem as if he would attack or anything of the sort so she swam to the edge of the lake and got out, her hair placed conveniently over her chest in waves.

Skia bit her lip again as she looked for some bushes and stood behind them to keep herself somewhat concealed. Why on earth would these creatures cover themselves? It was so... constraining wasn't it? She eyed the male but he didn't seem uncomfortable in the materials. Huh.

Her eyebrows furrowed, unable to understand a thing he was trying to communicate. He was also angled away from her, just another sign that he was unsettled by her bare body. Well, that wasn't about to change unless he had some of those... things he had on.

"Ahpaonmi, meh?" She repeated, her head cocked to the side as she tried to communicated back. Again, it was a failed attempt. She sighed, frustrated and pointed to her throat as she tried to show that she couldn't speak as he did. She wasn't about to bark or growl, that would just give him a fright. Should she shift and leave? Again, too much attention.

She looked at what just happened. Oh what wonderful bloodshed! Her wicked grin crossed her face from side to side. This was pleasing her greatly. Oh… the power, the power is the best part. She has influence within the kingdom! This, this will be a wonderful ability! “Alright, Your Highness, but I demand that my items at my home be taken to this castle. I also would love to have a grand room with a view of the forest… most of my divining is centered at the forest, so I would love to look out upon it when the future is coming to me. What I need from my home: my dagger, my crystal ball, my owl pendent, my black cloth on my table and salt. That is all I ask.”

Quinn closed her eyes, taking in the King’s questions, and she tapped her walking stick down against the stone floor, “Your son will not kill the redhead that we speak of. She speaks to the forest creatures, they listen and they protect her. They can destroy your son’s outpost. If you believe in my powers of diving the future, maybe with the ritual tools your guards might be taking to my newfound room, I can work my powers of the unseen world and try and protect your warriors?”

"Ahpaonmi, meh?"

Nyles relaxed a bit as the girl swam away and stood behind bushes. This way, he could look straight at her without gazing at forbidden areas. Unfortunately, she was still quite bare and Nyles swallowed, hoping to stay limp. The girl had replied in her foreign tongue and pointed to her throat, most likely indicating the language barrier. Nyles was disheartened at how much more difficult this would be, but at the same time, it would be easier since she wouldn't understand anything people say around her.

From what he could tell, she didn't have clothes! The trees near the clearing didn't have any hanging garments and Nyles looked around on his side, just in case he was blocking her path to her clothes, which would have made him look like such an inconsiderate, perverted slob. Fortunately, he was not made out to be so as there weren't any clothes. Nyles, with hopes that the girl wouldn't get the wrong message, took off his leather armor and pointed to it, trying to gesture the message of "where are your clothes?" and this was assuming she was done bathing, as with all the intent of an honorable man, he could not let her out of his sight due to legitimate reasons, at least according to the king's orders.

Skia held back a scowl. This was really infuriating. How is it that she could easily communicate with her pack but not one of her kind? Well, he may or may not be like her. Could he change form as she did? She had so many questions, curiousity coming out of her ears and yet she couldn't communicate it at all.

Skia ran her hands through her hair in frustration as he looked around. When he took off a piece of material she eyed it in confusion. Ah! She smiled, figuring he was trying to communicate without using his mouth. She pointed to herself and shook her head in hopes that he would understand that she didn't have any such material with her.

She felt so odd and out of place. Sure, this was her natural home but he probably didn't think so because of her appearance. She must have looked like a fool. She huffed before she could stop herself. Maybe she should just leave. This was, after all, a completely odd situation.

Skia pointed to the trees, nodding her head towards a break between them to communicate her leave. She awkwardly raised her hand to mimic the gesture he'd given her before as she started to leave, her face red in embarassment.

"Well, of course! This place is quite grand. I can see why you would be hesitant to leave," Will agreed. Rok seemed to be considering his offer. That was good. If he could make him keep that in mind Will might be able to escape this place. He casually shrugged and looked around. Will thought he might stay silent for now. He was not well versed in castle ways. What would this adviser talk about or be interested in? Afain, Will thought of using his power on the man, but he decided once again that it should be a last resort. He wouldn't offer until it was an act of desparation to sway his choice on taking him or not.

Rok gave a small nod of agreement. He found it surprisingly easy to speak with this slave. Perhaps it was because he knew Will wouldn't do anything stupid for the fear that Rok would have him reported and punished. Honestly, he wouldn't do such a thing. Not unless it furthered his goals, and he didn't think he would get anywhere by making enemies with this slave. With a power such as his, Will could be quite the asset to him. Of course, making full use of his power would require Rok to possess him, and that would be quite irritating at this time. He'd rather have the slave follow him out of loyalty or perhaps fear--he never even suspected that the slave may actually take a liking to him and follow him out of friendship--than turn him into a puppet.

"It is a grand place to live, to be sure," he stated, his expression thoughtful as his heterochromatic eyes fixed on the floor for the briefest of moments. "The other places I spent much time in before living here could not hold a candle to this place in terms of elegance." He glanced at Will and asked, "How do you find the gilded cage in which the king has placed you?" It was an odd question, yes, but he was actually a bit curious about the slave's opinion. Because it could give him some insight into the slave's mind.

Of all the things he could be told, this was one of the top 5 worst things he could hear. It became clear as the joy that was in his face was replaced with utter bewilderment.

“What?” He said surprised at the prophet’s words. This was… treason. His own son refusing to kill the ginger he was purposely sent to kill?! His own prince wishing the demise of the man that brought him into this soon to be most prolific world?! This King Edward did what was the impossible to both his father and grand-father and forcefully united the Scottish and Irish lands! He was even beginning to expand the whole kingdom into French territory!

“th-th-that boy…” He trailed as the dark aura was expanding with gargantuan mass. He tried to calm himself down, but he just couldn’t. His son was NOT going to kill this ginger? His own flesh and blood will not kill what could very well bring an end to his whole supremacy?! King Edward killed his own siblings to gain his throne, it was not impossible the prince was now plotting against him.

“IF MY OWN FLESH AND BLOOD REFUSES TO KILL THAT GINGER, THEN I WILL GO TO THE LABYRINTH MYSELF AND RIP HER HEART OUT WITH MY BARE HANDS!!!!”
He was very well about to storm out of the throne room, had not the very large picture of his beloved queen been at the entrance.

To kill his son… would also mean kill HER son…. He stopped and hesitated for a moment.

“He will not kill the redhead that we speak of. She speaks to the forest creatures, they listen and they protect her. They can destroy my son’s outpost.” He repeated what the witch had said slowly. He had skipped in his rage the rest… but no… His son did not kill the redhead, because he couldn’t?! She can speak with the…

The King’s eyes widened. “She can control the animals?! Wolves are still a large threat, and even with our armour those who dwell in these villages usually wear leather as protection and to move freely. Metal armour in the forest is limited in ability and movement…” The King sat down back on his throne, his dark aura diminishing in size, but intensifying in colour. His face had a scowl that looked beyond what was in front of him.

His son couldn’t launch a frontal attack… If this ginger could destroy his outpost, it does not mean she will. This Ginger was to bring an end to the king, not the prince.

He snapped back to reality as he looked at the prophet. “Oh, excuse my sudden outburst. I am quite stressed. I will send my men to pick up your dagger, crystal ball, owl pendent, black cloth on your table and your salt but as of now. I have some important business to attend. You are free to roam the castle, ask one of the soldiers and they will gladly give you a tour. As a matter of fact, I have a tower that used to inhabit The McMahon family, since they are no more I would gladly have the servants clean it for you. The tower gives a magnificent view of the kingdom, including the forest. ”

The King hit his throne and a soldier came rushing near him. The King whispered him the orders to fetch the prophet’s belongings, and he ran off immediately.

“You are dismissed Prophet. We will discuss much more tomorrow. If anything you see involves my beloved son, do share it with me post-haste. Now that I’ve gotten him involved in all of this, I can’t help but feel responsible, should anything happen to the lad.”

The king sighed deeply as he resumed his pensive state, staring intently at the large portrait of his wife. Were he not expecting the Richardson noble family along with the drug slave and Rok, then he’d rush by her side. The first thing that came into his mind was his son’s treachery. This whole ginger kid was really getting to him. He couldn’t deny the possibility though. After the meeting with the noble, he was going to perform some light sparring with one of his soldiers. It troubled him, if his son couldn’t fight the ginger directly. He really didn’t think much of it when he made the prince in charge. The King was the only one in danger, and sending his own son…

He prayed his only living heir wouldn’t succumb to the ginger.
King of Wackatopia: "I'll guarantee your safety, give you meaning, give you knowledge and something to believe in for the low cost of your personal freedom."

Fang: "Look at you, you're gorgeous, you're beautiful, and when i look into your beautiful eyes all I see is this magnificent elegant creature, full of grace, full of strength. You're mesmerizing. You're intoxicating. I want you near me. I want to indulge you."

Ryan: "If my survival means the death of innocents, then so be it"

Kyliden: "This one is strong. He's brave and takes what he needs. He's a better werewolf then i could ever wish to be."

Diego: "I can't control what i feel, querida mia. This spark will become a big lively fire. It will consume me, it will consume you and everyone around us, and once nothing is left, new life will spring eternal."

Wade: "She made me love her before she sired me. She wanted a companion, a friend, a lover to indulge her throughout the centuries. Her demise filled me with emptiness; she was to give me a purpose and now I'm alone."

Rok had surprised Will. He was speaking as if his past had been rough. Maybe there was more to this man than he first thought. Now he was rather curious about him. Rok seemed rather open, maybe he could information about his past. "I do not understand, sir. You are of noble blood, yes? Have you not lived in places such as this your whole life?" he asked, hoping he wasn't prying to deeply. Will was surprised once more by Rok's question to him. What did he mean by gilded cage? The only place the king kept him was inside that fancy prison...Oh!

He thought it over a while and started to explain, "Well, sir, it is certainly wonderful. The bed is comfy, the view from the windows spectacular, the design a sight to behold... However, it is still a prison. I am a prisoner and that is all I see unless there is a rare occasion such as this. I do not get to work, I am spoiled, I am of little assisstence to those I want to help, and between you and I, it may even be worse than being in a regular dungeon. I feel terrible that I get such a grand room while others are locked away. However, it does help that the king sends me women. Now, please don't get the wrong idea. I don't make love to any of them. I just am happy that I can share my room with someone and have them keep me company. It does get lonely when the only people you see are just there because of your power..." he trailed off with a sigh and just started to gaze off without actually seeing.

Rok listened to Will's little monologue without comment, though he did give a small nod, as though he could understand how the slave felt. And he did understand it, to some extent. For a time, the only people around Rok were the people he was practicing the mind-controlling aspect of his powers on. They were there--not by choice--because of his powers. It was a truthfully a different scenario, but Rok didn't see it that way. Mostly because he didn't care that those people had been there against their will. They had been bandits. He didn't give a damn about what they wanted. He had just used them to backstab and murder their companions.

"I am of noble blood, yes," he told Will after a rather long silence. His voice held a trace of sorrow in it, but only a trace. It was barely noticeable, and Rok certainly hadn't noticed it was there or he would have shut up rather quickly instead of continuing to speak. "However, I have not spent my entire life living in luxury."

Will was silenced because he figured he had asked too much from the adviser. Maybe he shouldn't have asked about his past. Perhaps it was something he had nearly forgotten and he just brought back memories. He didn't know, but he felt bad for the young man. Though, once Rok answered, he didn't feel quite as bad. He thought he had detected some sadness, but he wasn't sure. Rok was a stronge one. He was very hard to figure out. Maybe he would be a little bit more open and less reluctant to share if he told a little of his past.

"I'm very sorry to hear that, sir. I don't remember being poor, if that's what you are meaning. I may have been a villager, but I was raised by an apothecary, something I don't believe the king has realized yet. I grew up with a large sum of money for a villager. I even learned the skills of a doctor. I could patch someone up rather nicely, if anyone so desired. It would be nice to have a little work to do," he explained. Now he would ask. "Sir, if you don't mind, may I know what had happened?"

Rok gave Will a look of mild surprise as the man revealed that bit of information. Apothecary? Well well well. That was interesting. And anyone who ever worked at an apothecary would know how to make poisons. They'd know how to cure those poisons as well, but the making of the poisons was what interested Rok at the moment. He filed that piece of information away for later. This was rather fortunate for Rok, especially if the king was unaware that Will had such knowledge. How fascinating.

Just about any noble in the castle was aware of Rok's past, the king included. If Will had the courage to ask around, he'd certainly find out about it from someone. Particularly if he asked one of the noble ladies. They loved to gossip, after all. And Rok had heard more than his fill from them about the rumors and such that had flown around about him. Some people actually thought that he'd killed his own parents. He'd been sure to drop hints to the king that those particular people should be banished or executed. He didn't want to deal with morons like them.

If only to keep Will from asking the wrong people about Rok's past, he stated, "I spent quite a bit of time on my own when I was a child. After my parents had been murdered by bandits." But Will was unlikely to get more information out of him than that. He didn't need to know more. Hell, he really didn't need to know any of it. But if Rok was going to try to earn the man's loyalty, then he needed to be at least somewhat open with him.

What? She has been living in the forest completely naked this whole time? Then again, Nyles reasoned, humans rarely ever came to The Labyrinth and it was fairly safe to be unclad. The girl had shook her head at Nyles' clothes, either meaning that she didn't have any or she didn't want his. Nyles wondered if she could have meant both. Unfortunately, he was not going to find out as she had taken her leave looking quite flushed.

"Strange... First a lone wolf and now a naked red head that fits the prophecy... But in what way is she dangerous... none from I can tell other than being the source of a man's fancy. Aha! What if my father was a pervert the whole time and the prophecy was a ruse to get his rare fantasy to come to reality?! What if the prophet was forced to play the part? It would explain the conviction in the soothsayings and how my father is so angry all the time... exploding at any hint of question or hesitation due to his neverending and ever vigil fear of suspicion or discovery? I think I really am going mad... talking to a wolf now talking to myself..."

Breaking out of his digression, Nyles looked up to find an empty clearing. He cursed as he realized he lost the girl, the very purpose of the godforsaken mission his father sent him on.

"Wait! Miss, come back!"

He stumbled through the forest in the direction she was last seen and hoped good fortune would last.
I can't tell you what it really is, I can only tell you what it feels like...

She needed to get back to her pack and warn them to try and keep away from these beings. Sure, the male didn't seem threatened by a lone wolf but if his pack saw hers? It would be a hunt on both sides probably, depending on how Skia's beta wolf felt towards them. Yes, keeping the two apart would be a good idea. She grumbled to herself as she shifted into her wolf form once she was within the safety of the trees.

Skia didn't expect the male to follow her and for a while, it seemed he wasn't. Soon, though, she heard the familiar sound of his tongue. Well, wasn't that just brilliant! Skia growled lowly as she scanned the area and darted through the trees in hopes that he hadn't seen her.

She hid behind a bush, peering out as she watched him move through the forest. This was crucial. If he'd seen her shift, he'd obviously react and how he reacted would decide whether or not she'd see him as a threat to herself and her pack. If he hadn't seen her shift or didn't connect the dots? Well! Then, wouldn't that just be merry?

Strange. Rok still didn't seem particularly fond of revealing his history. Well, Will would leave it at that for now. However, he would share that he too lost his parents. Perhaps it would create more of a bond between them. "Ah, I see. Yes, losing one's parents can be hard. Mine died of illness. That is why I was raised by the good ol' doctor. He was so nice and caring a man. It's a shame he is gone too," he noted as he began to stare off into space again. A sigh brought him back to reality and he remembered what they were supposed to be doing. "Rok, are we not supposed to be going to see the king?"

He had enjoyed speaking with Rok as of now, but he would rather not make the king impatient. The king could get quite hateful when angered. Best not keep him waiting any longer than needed. He motioned for Rok to lead the way. It was so strange. He was unbound and faced with one opponent to flee. Why did Will still feel as if someone had a grip on his shoulder and that he himself had on shackles?

Rustling of the brush and some faint sound alerted Nyles to the girl's location. He was curious to what the girl would do next. Of course, her being naked had nothing to do with it but it didn't lessen his curiousity. The faint sounds he was hearing was of her grumbling. Nyles hoped it wasn't about him disturbing her time alone but intuition led him to believe so. Suddenly, the girl was gone! Nyles rubbed his eyes and looked again but she was definitely gone! In her place, was a wolf.

Before he could say anything, as he was utterly flabbergasted, the wolf darted away. Nyles was too stunned to follow. He had just witnessed magic! He now realized why the red-head could be dangerous as she could become anything she wanted to, in theory. But then, if this wolf was the lone wolf that aided in his survival earlier, she couldn't have been evil... Nyles felt a pair of eyes gazing at him from somewhere.

"I don't know if you were pretending to not understand our language... but I will tell you anyway. I was sent here to capture you because you are a danger to our kingdom... But... I find that ridiculous as you don't seem malicious or dangerous at all, on the contrary, you seem to be peaceful and content... Will you come out? I owe my life to you and that is enough for me to abandon my original venture."
I can't tell you what it really is, I can only tell you what it feels like...
