What a waste of a fine guard there was no reason to kil him if she had just waited for me to get here she would have no trouble entering. The fool girl the guard is going to the barracks to get more. I must go stop them. He galloped past his sisters tower. He despised her thats why he made her live there. As he entered the city Kuyler's hooves sounded like thunder on the cobblestones of the streets. He saw the man running, and grapped him by the cloack and hoisted him onto his horse. Please excuse my friend she was a bit hasty in her actions I want you to go guard the my chambers go now. As he said the last words he dropped the man back onto the street. If that man had gotten to the barracks the whole town would be in a panic, and I dont need that right now. He turned Kuyler around and began to gallop back towards the tower. When he got there he kicked the door in and quickly made his way up the stairs.

I climbed and climbed, and when I was almost there, as I was grasping the window, I slipped.

"Ahhh!" I screamed. Oops. Well if you have a death experience, you have to scream...right? Ugh. I tried to pull myself up, but one arm couldn't hold my entire body, and I felt myself slipping. "no.." I said, eyes widening. Four fingers...three fingers....

Thomas wimpers slighly as the ropes pull against his arms.
His body had still not fully recovered from the sickness that had plagued him the night before; a stress-induced fever, only making the situation all the more unbearable.

At least he was still unconcious; the pained expression on his features and shallow breathing the only proof that he was actually alive.

Finley glanced up every time the boy made a sound. It was nothing exciting. Her patience was running thin. Luckily for him, food arrived. The guard she sent out knocked on her bedroom door. "Enter," she called. He opened the door and hauled a young woman inside. Finley smiled at her dinner, "Goody, a live and young one." She moved off the seat and took the girl by the hand. She shooed the guard out of her room.

"Come. Sit deary. I want to talk before we get to business," she led her to the seat she just left. She struck up a small conversation and made the girl feel comfortable. Then she leaned in for a kiss. It became heated and the fear rose inside of the girl, as well as excitement. Finley kissed her neck and the exposed portion of her chest. Without warning, she bit into the pulse point on her neck. The girl's moans turned to screams. The screams eventually faded and her body went limp in Finley's arms.

She dropped the body to the floor and kicked it away from the window seat. She licked her lips, enjoying the fresh, warm taste. She sighed in ecstasy. "Now, if only the boy would wake up," she fixed her black eyes on the boy's body. Her vision cleared and she could tell her eyes were fading back to their normal deep brown instead of the entire orb being black.

She plopped back down on the seat and picked up her book, not bothering to clean up the mess. There was blood on her dress and her hair was a mess. Not to mention she left the girl on the floor. The remaining blood pouring out of the wound on her neck. Finley laughed, getting back into her book. Now she was really looking forward to him waking up.

You don't only belong to yourself, you know. I doubt there is a single person in this world that belongs only to himself. When someone makes a connection there is always something shared. And so people will never be completely free. It's that which brings out fun, and sadness and love.

He heard the scream coming from above and thought Finley had attacked Twilight so he quickly rushed the door bursting it to shreds first seeing the dead girl on the floor then seeing her three fingers on the window sill. He quickly rushed past Finley and grabbed ahole of her arm pulling her in through the window. Let him go sister his voice was filled with venom. He hated his sister she defied him at every step. I am the King here now I killed father. His sword is on my back to prove it. He pulled the blade off of his back and pointed it at her. Now as I said let him go.

I felt Tyrin's hand, as he pulled me up, and I gasped, happy I was alive. Tyrin hated his sister, and I wasn't surprised. The dead girl on the floor almost made me cry, and I was now angry as well. I stood up, coughing, and holding my arm, but still had enough energy to be angry. My earring started to burn hotly Stupid fire. "You better listen to him..." I growled, feeling a spark go through my body.

Finley rolled her eyes at her brother's statements, "I didn't listen to Father, why should I listen to you and some girl you pull off a window ledge?" She moved closer to the sleeping boy on the bed. She sat next to him and stroked a piece of loose hair off his forehead. He had soft features. No wonder he passed out, she thought to herself.

Her head snapped up and she looked at her brother, "I don't take kindly to orders. Please leave my room." Finley wanted nothing more than to scream at him and throw him out. It wouldn't work though. He'd most likely kill her. Then again, she wasn't exactly afraid of dying. She sighed in anger.

In a state of extreme delirium, the angelic prince subconsciously leaned against the coldness that teased his fevered skin. Once the relief had left him, the sickly adolescence regained enough presence of mind to open his golden eyes; half-lidded.
He looks over to Finley; his pitiful, blushed expression pleading for more relief from the heat. He has, apparently, not noticed the situation currently in progress; thoughts preoccupied with the suffocating feeling of his illness and the Princess's cold hands.

I growled, the sound rippling through my throat like I was a wolf. I felt the fire tingle in my hands, I felt the blood lust i only felt when I was truly angry. My hands started with sparks lighting the room like fireworks, but not burning anything. The fire was blue. It was too hot and pure to consume anything. Yet. " I don't have much patience young princess, I never took liking to vampire's anyway. My temper is as bad as yours, if not worse, for I'm a bit fiery,..as you can see." My earring was burning so hot, it hurt to just feel it next to my ear.

I was blind in my anger, something that only happened once before. When I killed my parents. When they tried to kill me. When my entire clan put up a plan to kill me. I killed them all that night. I slaughtered the only family I knew. Just because, of a prophecy and power, they all wanted to kill me. And because I got angry, I killed them all. I needed someone to stop me, which was only one friend could do back then, but he was dead now, like all the others. Killed by a vampire. A tear rolled out of my eye, but it turned into steam quickly. " I have no patience with the likes of you. Let him go!"

I didn't know how far I would go. Would I get so mad I would turn into my true form? When I did, my hair was always on fire at this moment. But I couldn't, not in front of people. So as I tried my best not to contain myself and not kill anyone, I wished in my head, oh i wished, my friend was here. Telling me," Everything will be ok, calm down, it's bet if we don't kill anyone today." I shivered, not in cold, but in anger.

Sister I am your king do as i say and release him. He said this as he brandished Kliensop. He was in no mood to be played with. He would kill his sister given the chance, and his people would cheer to see his sisters head thrust through a stake on the ramparts. Not only had his family hated her, but the entire Vampire race hated her. He noticed Twilights hands start to spark and his hand shot over to her wrist. Not here, and not now. His voice was cold and life less. He needed to feed the blood staining the floor had put him into a frenzy, and he very well might end up feeding on his sister. He swung his blade cutting the foot board in half in one fell motion. If you are not careful the next swing my very well end your life now move. He heard the metal booted feet of guards coming up the stairs to see what the commotion was. When they entered the door they brandished thier blades upon seeing him with his drawn and began to look for a sign of danger. What they saw was Twilight and fire emerging from her finger tips. They began to rush her, but he stepped in there way. One soldier could not stop in time and his blade came down into Tyrins shoulder. The blade cut through the armor and buried itself deep into his flesh. Leave now he roared gripping the blade with his hand and ripping it out of his shoulder. That had put him over the edge he needed to feed now, and if his sister wasnt careful it would be her.

Finely could feel the rise in awareness next to her. She noticed that the boy was coming to. She gave him a soft smile, "Welcome back." She leaned in closer and whispered, "What's wrong?" She didn't really care but if she treated him well enough, she hoped the other two would leave her be. She wasn't afraid to die but this wasn't the place to go.

She looked back up at her brother and the girl she dubbed the intruder. She sighed. Their antics were boring her. "No, I don't have to listen to you," she said to her brother. The guards decided to rush her room then and she wondered why. Finley didn't move from her spot on the bed. She sat still and decided it was best for her brother and this intruder to handle it on their own. As far as she could tell, they were there to try to protect her.

The voice seemed the same. But it was only Tyrin. He calmed me own anyway, and I looked at him like, "Why?" But said nothing as I cooled down into submissive. When I saw Prince was waking up, I growled again, but made sure not to do anything else. It was a very frail and awkward situation, we could kill his sister quickly, but she could kill Prince right then as well. I could've brought him back to life in my true form, but I would sleep for almost a month AND i would be seen. Not too nice. I sighed, rubbing my temple. What was I going to do?! I had to listen to Tyrin, but it took all self control not to do nothing now.

When the soldiers came in, surprising me before I could react they lunged toward me. i tried to get away, but I knew I would be too slow, and I closed my eyes waiting for the impact. I heard a splatter of blood, but it wasn't mine. I opened my eyes. It better not have been Prince's..it wasn't. It was Tyrin's. It actually, felt worse. "I'm so sorry.." i said eyes widening, as I put my hand on his wound. It wasn't deep enough to kill him, his armor saved his life, but... it was going to take time to heal. I took fabric from my shirt and wrapped it around there, already seeing the white fabric turn red. i wasn't sure what to do.

I looked up at Tyrin, asking,' what am i supposed to do? ' I hoped he would be okay.

Go to the princes side. He lunged at his sister sword in hand swinging it towards her. He stopped right before he hit her neck a few hairs falling from her face. I promise the next one will not stop. Now move he roared. He did not have any time to deal with his fool sister.

Thomas's body instinctively tried to sit up from the bed as soon as the unfamiliar sound of a metallic, and threatening, "swoosh" made its way to his ears. Unfortunately, though, the ropes strapping his limbs to the bed-posts snapped him back into place.
"Oww..." Much more aware now (due to the gnawing pain in his wrists and ankles), Thomas gazes up and, inadvertently, makes eye-contact with a, rather perturbed, Twilight.

(The prince's anguished expression is obscured by his newly-disheveled tresses.)

'Why...' Thomas thought; in disbelief.

"....."

'Why are you here?'

"....."

(A wretched feeling rises up in his chest and, Thomas's eyes fill with tears.)

'Even though I left you....'

For some reason, Thomas can't hold back anymore and
begins to cry.

I ran over to Prince, watching the scene unfold into complete chaos. I hoped Tyrin would be ok, but I heard the struggles of Prince, and figured out he woke up. He moaned a tired Ow, and I saw the red marks on his wrists and ankles. It was probably best not to tell him...

His eyes met with mine only a second later. Was it pain? I couldn't read his emotions, and I didn't even try. I would give him that space. When his eyes started to fill up with a liquid I was quite accostumed to, I softened my eyes. I sat next to him, and sighed, even though the present time was quite chaotic. I looked to him, tilted my head a bit, and played with his hair, rubbing my fingers and hand through his thin light hair. I laughed as I wiped his tears as well. The warm liquid made me almost cry as well. I shook my head.

"Don't cry Prince, I don't even know your name but..you don't have to say it, because you probably want space..right? Don't freak out as I do this.." Keeping an eye on Tyrin, I lit her finger, my earring starting to burn only a little, as i burned the binds on his arms and everywhere else. The fire licked it away hungrily, before it finished, almost licking it's lips. I ordered it away, and it extinguished as if it was never there. There was a smell of smoke in the air. I started to feel tired, but I protectively, put my hands over Prince.

Finley looked at her brother. Her eyes showed no fear, only boredom. She leaned into the blade more and let it slice open her neck a bit. Trickles of blood slid down her neck and onto the collar of her tunic. She smiled at him, "Go ahead, brother. I'd love to see you do it."

He pulled his sword back quickly and just as quickly sliced the two poles at the foot board causing the canopy to fall on his sister. He quickly ran to Twilight and the Prince. He sheathed his sword and lifted each one in either arm. In a second he had ran and jumped out the window landing on the ground far below. He dropped the two onto thier feet as he balanced himself on the ground. Take Kuyler and go into the wooods now. I know how to find my horse I will catch up to yall now go! He said all of this through clenched teeth then took off towards the tree line. He had to find something a deer or a wolf maybe. He quickly made his way into the forest pouncing upon the first animal he saw. It happened to be a deer and he drained the blood quickly. That wasn't enough! He roared causing the birds to scatter. He continued running through the forest until he came upon a pack of three wolves circling a fallen deer. He quickly attacked the first two slicing thier necks open. He then turned his attention to the third as it lunged at him. He caught it by the neck and snapped it like a twig. He then began to drink the blood of the three wolves. His hunger sated he casually got up and started to walk towards Kuyler's scent forgetting about the blood smeared on his face.

The wooden poles came crashing down on her head. Finley moved slowly to untangle herself. It was no use struggling; they'd be gone before she surfaced. She managed to get out and just as she thought, the boy, girl and her brother were gone. Out the window most likely, she thought. She put her hand up to her neck and felt the blood. It was drying quickly, the cut healing. She couldn't help it and let out a loud laugh. "Oh brother. You're not as strong as you thought you were, huh?" she laughed again walking over to the window and looking out at the sky.

I nodded at Tyrin, not catching everything, but following what he said. "Come on Thomas." I whispered putting him on my back and running ahead, already tired but getting to my horse. Thunder was upset we had to people, but I told him to shut up for now. He did as he was told. I than told Thomas to hold my stomach, and I looked after Tyrin, a bit worried before starting to run off, Thunder at full gallop. The little shrieks from wolves caught my ears, and I shivered knowing it was Tyrin. Be careful I thought as I got farther away.

Shirtless, and fevered, Thomas snuggles in further to the tense (and undoubtedly warm) figure in front of him.
Having been awakened by the sudden rush of cold air, he has the presence of mind to contemplate the situation. Along the lines, Thomas stops denying his guilt....

He does feel guilty. He should have trusted this person. Why would he have wanted to cause him harm? Thomas had just been afraid...He had been too naive; too weak to be allowed the luxioury of depending on others.

In reality, he was too weak to afford not to.

He was new at this...., but Thomas felt an instinctive (and very 'human-like') urge to show his repentance. He rests his fore-head on the green-haired 'males' shoulder and speaks a quiet, but well-meaning, 'thank you', and an equally sincere 'I'm sorry.'

As they ride off, Thomas (the runaway Prince of the Winged Kingdom) is oblivious to the fact that he has left all of his brought-belongings in the room of the vampire-woman (in fact, he is only vaguely certain of her existence. His mind is still cloudy on the details of earlier that evening.)
Among the belongings left in the room, was a small book (filled with children's fables about faeries, angles, vampires...; to him, it was more sentimental than informative, but it was a window into the strange mentality of the common-folk of the Winged Kingdom.)

The small, leather-clad book, had been knocked off of the bed during the struggle earlier, and now lay open on the floor; revealing the instantly recognizable image of two, interlocking, golden wings and ancient script of Angelic people: the crest of the Winged Kingdom and a story about a dark, malicious witch...

He continued to stide toward the scent. He let out a loud whistle and his horse came galloping up to him. He mounted the horse and began to search the air for Twilights scent. He quickly located it and began to gallop. He quickly caught up to them. He seen the shocked look on thier faces as he realised he still ad the blood on his face. He quickly grabbed a cloth and wiped it off of his face. He shoulder had been healed from feeding. He looked at the damaged metal and sighed. Do any of you know where I can have this repaired?

I smiled sadly when little prince woke up. He was shirtless and cold as he grabbed on to mw for warmth, and since I was always warm, he seemed to enjoy holding me. I giggled to myself. When little prince said thank you ms sorry I almost stopped Thunder in shock. I wasn't expecting that, but he seemed very sincere and I smiled as I reached my left hand back and played with his light blonde hair. He was a cutie. I whispered," Your welcome it's quite alright. I'm a bit socially awkward myself. I am also sorry for asking questions too fast. Will you be my friend little prince? Thomas right? I'm going to call you Tommy. " I turned my head around and smiled at him before I heard King come near us.

His sword looked quite damaged and when he asked Tonmy and I if we knew anyone who could fix it, I slowed Thunder to a walk. " Hey King thanks for protecting us. To repay you I'll fix your sword. " I took his sword and rubbed my hand over it, feeling it's pain. Elves had taught me the art of weapon smith, when I was younger. They loved me, " The Dangerous Unicorn ". " Beautiful sword.. It's been through a lot.." I whispered as I slowly bent it back to place, than smoothing it out with the fire in my hand. It was as good as new, already. I gave it back to King. " You should take better care of it." I announced jokingly.

We were headed towards the humans...

Thomas blushed at the sudden display of affection and, after an awkward pause, nodded his agreement.

'Tommy.'

He wondered solemnly about the indignity of such an endearment, but did not dare broach the topic; he had been forgiven, after all.

The young prince's heart fluttered at the thought.

He had been forgiven...and, more importantly, this person agreed to be his friend -no-; this person had wanted to be his friend. ( "Will you be my friend?" This person had ASKED for it!)

Thomas felt a strange disturbance in, what seemed to be, his lower chest (it was almost...familiar, but he couldn't really recognize what it was.) It held a sort of anxiety to it. It was....awkward, though he wouldn't go as far as to call it "uncomfortable"....

'Friends...'

He had made a friend.

As the King approached, Thomas shifted his head away from him in a vain attempt to hide his embarrassment.
As the green haired fellow ( -"Gah!" Thomas mentally face-palmed. Had he even told him his name?-) used some sort of unfamiliar magic on the older man's sword, "Tommy" tried to dispel his pathetic, indulgent thoughts about friendship, by pretending to be utterly fascinated in the scenery to his left.

Once his f-

Once his frie-

Once his friend companion had returned the sword to the King (seeming really cool, Thomas couldn't help but notice, passing it back to him with a nonchalant joke,) the young Prince began to realize the strange change in scenery.

"....?"

Where were they exactly?

Thomas inspected the unfamiliar, dismal shrubbery. He hadn't been paying much attention; being either too sick, or to oblivious to notice as they traveled farther, and farther into the darkness.
Had the sun set already?
There was no way of knowing in a forest like this.

I looked in tommy in amusement. He seemed deep in thought from what I could tell. I smiled and patted his head. "Wondering where we are dear Tommy? well, we are traveling to the Human lands, I know you don't know what this is since you've never lift home, but we'll be traveling a long way so I hope you'd be confortable. " My smile driifted away as I became serious to King. " Hey, what do you think we should do about stopping the war? Bring the princess back to life?" I said sarcasticaly. " But I'm serious, we can't just go in there not knowing what we are doing. I mean I could distract them with fire there is a lot of ammunition here but.. I don't like setting forests on fire. " Yah because they were my home. I had lived in them for as long as I could remember, and took care of the animals as if they were my family. I smiled to Tommy again, but it was a sort of sad smile...

" Tommy..be careful ok? "
